Even though we showed up a little late, their professional and smiling staff got our family of seven through in less than 45 minutes, including paperwork. The equipment is state-of-the-art, with no obnoxious light probes jabbing into your eyes and less than 5 minutes in the chair. Great waiting room too with comfy furnishings and a place for the kids.

Wonderful Eye Doctor. Very kind and double checks your vision. Truly dedicated to helping others. Professional staff and kind to everyone. They go above the standards and best Eye care I have received at great price. Highly recommend.

Great price, as I don’t have insurance- this place is truly trying to help the community. The staff is amazing, and really know what they’re doing. I didn’t purchase glasses, but the selection was good and the lowest price point of $99 definitely competes with the online retailers.

Very pleased with the whole deal. Appointment setup was quick, called on Friday and was scheduled on the next Monday. Staff was wonderful, and Dr. Solorzano was very knowledgeable. Nice friendly, welcoming atmosphere with latest advanced equipment. Thanks !

One day, they just decided they werent taking patients on Fridays. Told me the day before that my appointment had been canceled. I would have thought there would be more professional ways to implement the change. Longer notice? Stop scheduling, THEN CLOSE WHEN YOUR FRIDAYS ARE FREE? Whatever, going to another doctor.

I chose this eye doctor because of the good reviews and I prefer to support family owned business. The nurse that took me back was wonderful and nice but the rest of the staff was not.The nurse did a great eye exam and got my prescription dead on. However, when the doctor came into the room the appointment started to go downhill. He dodged my questions and spoke only condescendingly to me. I told him I practiced good contact hygiene and he didn’t seem to believe me and gave me a lecture on proper care of contact lenses. I have been wearing contact lenses for nearly 15 years, I am aware of the best practices.He then berated me for not having my contact box with me despite the fact I had thrown the box away months ago. I thought the job of an eye doctor was to determine my prescription but perhaps he is incapable of doing that considering the nurse did it instead.The doctor then really asked me if I wanted to update my prescription or if I wanted to keep my prior prescription. Why would I go to an eye doctor if I didn’t want to update my prescription? He then asked if I wanted to keep the same prescription in both eyes or have two separate prescription in the eyes. This seemed like a weird question because I was under the impression that contacts were supposed to make your vision the best it could be. However, it was obvious he did not care about the health of his patients but only seeming like the smartest guy in the room.He concluded the appointment with writing “near sighted” on a piece of paper and handing it to me. I may look young, but I am not an idiot. I’m aware of my eye issues and needs and he ignored them and choose to belittle instead. He did not offer to order me any contacts or glasses so I now must order them by myself. This appointment was a waste of an hour and $140.Additionally, they did not tell me they did not accept my insurance until after the exam despite me giving it to them beforehand. I did not mind paying for the exam but I think not disclosing this was shady.And to top it all off, only the receptionists and nurse were wearing masks! The doctor and the person who checked me out were not. During a pandemic, and considering I’m immunocomprised, I not only found this unprofessional but downright dangerous.Don’t bother going here, you’d probably have a better, and safer, experience at Walmart vision. I will now travel to Dallas for my vision needs because of the unprofessional and arguably incompetent doctor.

Nothing but nice things to say about Dr. Slatten and the staff! Everyone was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The level of service was exceptional. The staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. They had a great selection of frames and worked hard to help me find the perfect pair. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking!

The staff is amazing. Everyone there was a delight to talk to and extremely helpful. They went out of their way for me due to my crazy work schedule. Twice. I also felt like I was in good hands during my exam and Dr Slatten was very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this office and its staff.

So, I purchased an eye exam off of Groupon not really sure what to expect. I have to say though, I was very impressed with the staff the office and the service I received!! They are really the nicest people ever and the prices on their frames and lenses were reasonable. I definitely recommend this place if youre looking for a new optometrist. I will be going to dr. Slatten from now on :))

I have been using DR.Slatten for over 30 years.Two gals that work with me use him and one just took her daughter to see him, I took my mother to see him and she lives in Lawton. Just got back from his office. WOW. He now is one of two Optometrists in the state with Scription. I was so impressed with the exam. His staff is great. They always have taken care of me. I have vision in only one eye so this is who I trust.I cant wait to get my new glasses.

I love coming to this office to get my glasses fixed. The people by the door are always so happy to help and I usually stop by when they are busy (of course) but they still make sure that I am taken care of.

I had my glasses adjusted today. I was helped promptly, properly, and with kindness. I wish I had asked the technician her name, because she was great!

I had trouble at a third-party eyeglass store and Dr. Slatten helped me out tremendously by helping me verify the accuracy of my prescription and offering advice for how I can resolve the issue I had with my eyeglass provider. He really went above and beyond. I can whole-heartedly recommend him.

Dr. Slatten is by far the best optometrist in this area. The equipment is state of the art, including a machine that takes retinal photos instead of requiring your eyes to be dilated! Ive been to three different optometrists in this area and he is BY FAR the ONLY one I would recommend my friends or family to. Dr. Slatten and his staff are professional, friendly, answers your questions, and they will help you in whatever possible way they can. My glasses were ready within 2 days, and it completely changed my vision. I can see so much better and clearer than I could before with other optometrists outdated equipment. I usually cannot find frames my size (I have a large head) or frames that I like, but Dr. Slatten has a huge selection of frames to choose from.I will NEVER go to another optometrist as long as he is in business. Dr. Slatten and his staff are the only people I would recommend in the OKC area. Definitely worth the drive if you are not close, and they will ALWAYS accomodate you if you need a walk-in appointment, or if you need your glasses completed quickly. 5/5 experience.

Love the atmosphere of the office as well as the knowledgeable staff. Dr. Slattens Zeiss i. Profiler machine is 1 of 2 in Oklahoma and gets the closest prescription possible! Their glasses selection is fabulous, I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Dr. Slatten is wonderful with children and his staff takes the time out to explain things to you and help you make the best decisions regarding your eye care. Wonderful place!

This place is a joke. Took them 1 month and 1 week to get my glasses ready. Blamed it on the lab when in reality they messed them up in the edger. I get people make mistakes but DONT LIE TO ME

Bought a Groupon from them that said, $150 off HD lenses and anty frame in the store. I was shown a small selection of horrible cheap frames that were for groupon customers and still owed $240!!!

Good customer service, Dr. Slatten is an interesting guy but not the best eyecare ive had. Try to find a better place because they are slow at getting your contacts and glasses in.

Some of the worst service Ive ever had, and Ive been going to the eye doctor and getting new lenses every 2 years for the past 15 years, this place is by far the worst Ive been to, also very pricey, the groupon deal they had around the time I went was also a joke.
