My overall visit was fine , my first time getting contacts and after trying them in - One side was clear and crisp, it’s perfect. The other side I told him it was blurry, “oh it will take some time to adjust” 2 months later .. still not adjusted and still blurry . Now I’m stuck with a 6 month prescription that’s not right . After spending almost 400$ I’m a little agitated.

The staff at Pearle Vision are all so friendly and happy to answer any questions. Dr. Nguyen took great care of me and introduced me to an amazing new line of contacts that I am loving so far. Thank you guys for always providing me with wonderful service. See you next year :)

When I walked into Pearle Vision and got my new glasses. Some woman named Brooke I believed helped me a lot, spiritual and mentally when it came to finding the perfect frame for my transparent face. she was an angel, bless her soul.Give her a raise. Like 250k a year. You need people like Brooke.

I love Pearle Vision in Norman! The staff is exceptional. Erica helped me find the perfect pair of glasses and made sure my order arrived right on time. I will definitely be going here to get my next prescription… and the one after that… and the one after that.

Third time we’ve been here in the last month. Whether you have an appointment or they say your stuff is ready, be prepared to wait way longer than necessary. Not notified when the glasses were here for pickup. Had to call and find out after waiting past the estimated time. Picking up glasses again. The frames were scratched the first time. Called this morning. 30 minute wait just to grab the replacements they said were ready. Now they aren’t ready so we have to come back next week again. We won’t be back.

This is a great eye are place. Stopped in without an appointment and was able to be seen the same day. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Will recommend it to anyone looking for eye care.

I brought my 88 year old mother who has Dementia into this office a few weeks ago. The entire staff, as well as the doctor, handled her with understanding and kindness. They allowed us to have focused care without any lengthy sales pitches. We got in and out very quickly. Thank you for adjusting to this challenging situation!

We have been patients of Dr. Claiborne for many years. All this company wants is to take your money and buy low quality glasses for a premium. Thank you for nothing.

EDIT: I received an email at 3:30AM today saying they were sorry that *I* couldnt make it to my appointment (LOL, see attached email screenshot). When they called me back this morning, they claim to have tried calling me 3 times to let me know that scheduling me on the 3rd at 6:00 was a mistake, but why would you not leave a voicemail if you cannot reach me? I checked further back in my call logs and seem to have answered one call on the 28th of August from them, but the log said the call lasted 1 second. Dont know what thats about, but they did NOT call me two other times like they claimed on the phone this morning (see attached call log). If they had, they should have LEFT A VOICEMAIL. I did not reschedule, and I will not be going back.OP: WHY would you allow appointments to be scheduled online when you are NOT open, and then not call me to tell me that you wont be open and that I should reschedule??? I even got emails as confirmation of my appointment, but none letting me know you wouldnt even be open. I rushed home early from work to make the appointment only for you to be closed when I arrived. Im extremely upset about this because I have not had much free time at all, let alone for appointments, and I was very happy to be able to have a 6:00pm appointment. Disappointment is a vast understatement to what Im feeling right now. Its somewhere between dejection and rage.

As for as the Doctor, she was great, but the front end not so much. First once my glasses came within a week after my initial appointment, the lens were off and they had to be redone, because the measurements were not done correctly the first time. It has been two weeks tomorrow and I still have no glasses and when I called for an update, I was told that my glasses as of now are supposed to ship next week. Over three weeks is way too long to wait for a product when there are other places that are getting glasses done in a matter of days. I cant see me changing my thoughts on this place nor would I recommend it for anything other than the doctor to check your eyes.

Had a bad experience here last year and decided to give it another try (last year made an appointment then when I showed up, was informed that I arrived on wrong day when I hadn’t). This year, I set up an appointment for my husband for an eye exam. We have insurance and are just supposed to pay $10 co-pay. Employee told him it would be $40 due to a mandatory retina test. When we had our eye appointment last year, the doctor said the test was free (at a different doctor office). Ridiculous practices here- just trying to make money. I told my husband to leave and we won’t be back.

I had the best experience today at Pearle vision. I didnt have to wait to be seen and everyone was extremely kind. William helped me pick the best frames and made sure I was comfortable with the price and product. The only thing I regret was not coming here sooner. Truly the best vision appointment Ive ever had.

Really great! Ive been there for a few years for my checkups and Ive always had a good time. The doctor is really informative and everyone Ive met there has been genuinely nice and considerate. They also have a good selection of glasses which is why I initially started going there.

We were in Oklahoma for Thanksgiving week visiting family. On Thanksgiving, my husband dropped his glasses and the lens popped out. We couldnt get it back in...of course. On Friday we tried several nearby optical shops but all were closed for the weekend. Finally I found Pearle Vision in Norman. They were so helpful and friendly! They fixed the glasses right away and we were able to get back to the family.

Great service

It’s a small space usually crowded with lots of people. Some of the employees don’t wear their masks correctly & they also don’t enforce masks for customers. One employee pulled her mask down under her mouth while she was talking to me. My family and I won’t be back.

I bought several pairs of sunglasses on Amazon unfortunately they didn’t fit very well. I took them into Pearle Vision and Tori was so kind and willing to tighten do the necessary adjustments so that they fit perfectly. She was awesome! Thanks for everything.

The Doctor there is awesome. I believe his name was Dr. Claborn. That is this places saving grace. He explained everything very well. Had a great bedside manner, and was just generally a super nice guy. The other side of it though was a bit disappointing. Though the sales staff is good, nice, and helpful I am still without my glasses. I was told a date that they would be ready, and maybe Im being to harsh but that is when I expect them to be ready. They arent weeks late or anything like that. Just a couple of days late. Still. When I pay 400 dollars from a business like this and they tell me a date that things are going to be ready I begin to count on them being ready by that day. Other than that its great. The Doc is awesome. The sales staff is helpful, and nice. Also not pushy. I think the problem lies in their distributor.

I have never been treated so well in any place of business in my life. Their care is fabulous and their ability is amazing. I ended up with the most perfect corrected vision, I have ever had in my life. I ordered both contact lenses and glasses. To include custom multifocal prescription Oakley transition glasses, that arrived faster then I could purchase anywhere else, including the internet. They addressed all the issues I had, including scheduling a second appointment with an optometrist to address allergy issues. They most definitely stand behind their work and products. Furthermore, they do so with a customer oriented perspective. Great all the way around.

I had my eye exam done a month or so ago and meant to write this sooner, but the doctor on site and staff at this location have always been courteous and knowledgeable each time I had my annual and this last time was no exception. I recommended my family members and friends to come here because these are the people I trust for caring and thorough exams. Each team member clearly works very hard to provide quality care and customer service. So grateful!

Jenna was awesome!!! The entire store was quick and professional, and very clean. Jenna in particular took her time to help me find a great frame within my budget, that fit my style as well. Definitely recommend and will be back!

Honestly, they do not stand behind their products. My sons glasses ear piece fell off (2 weeks after purchase) and they offered to sell me a warranty. A $40 warranty and $25 copay warranty on a $98 pair of glasses. Do yourself a favor and shop online.

Went in for an appointment the other day. It was a decent experience. The staff of very pleasant and helpful. I was in and out very quickly. Alyssa had explained everything as we went through the routine, so I knew exactly what we were doing and why. Ill definitely be back when its time for a new pair of glasses.

Husband over paid for glasses he had to remove for reading! They need to hire people that are more qualified than they have. We now have to go elsewhere&pay more money for correct pair of glasses.

Love this place! I was desperate for a repair on the loupes I wear for work, came here last Saturday and Tori (spelling?) was FANTASTIC. She is great with eyeglasses AND with people, I will be back to purchase some of the super-cute frames I saw. Thank you, Pearle Vision and Tori.

Exam was great. But once I was picking out my glasses things didnt go good. The frame cost $149.00 I pay 20% of the $49.00 thats what my insurance covers. She said so my cost on that was $39.00. Thats 80% not 20%. So the total cost for my wife to get the exam, retinal imaging, safety glasses, and dresswear glass was $389.00. What? With my insurance? So I paid for my our exams got my paperwork and went somewhere else. Got all our glasses, safety glasses, and I got contacts. Total price $155.89. I do not recommended going here.

First,they broke my daughters glasses,then they said they couldnt help her get new pair cuz she didnt BUY THEM THERE!!! Well,then maybe you should leave yer hands off others property!!! They offered to have my daughter go get some superglue Im bringing superglue when I go visit them this afternoon.

I went on a Saturday and they were crazy busy. With that being said. ..they were awesome. Dr. Rodney Claborn was my doc and he was super nice and very informative. He shook my hand before and after the exam. He was very professional! Him and the staff treated each client with courtesy and respect. The staff were quick to help you and very kind even though it was busy. Brittany, Kim(he is a guy), and Will were the people who helped me personally. I am definitely going to go back there again.

Best experience I have ever had with glasses/contacts. The lady that helped me was Jordan R. When I walked in, she greeted me warmly, and then she asked me what type of glasses I was looking for, I told her, and she immediately found a pair that I loved. She was very respectful and engaging the whole time I was there. She is a bright mind and her service convinced me to shop there in the future and recommend Pearle Vision to everyone I know.

I visited Pearle Vision in Norman on 1/12/15. I had broken my glasses and needed a new pair quickly. I called ahead to see if they accepted my insurance and Brittany helped me out. She was very friendly and helpful. She returned my call in a timely manner with exactly what my insurance company would cover. It went downhill from there. When I arrived at their office I was greeted by a young man. After handing him my prescription he pointed at the wall where the glasses were and sat back down in his chair. So... I browsed... began getting frustrated because I needed some help choosing a pair. Its extremely frustrating when you cant see! Finally I asked for help. He tried to help...maybe... I think.. but sat back down at his computer. I asked the young woman sitting beside him for help. She said you will need a bigger pair if you need bifocals. Expecting her to get up and help me find a pair I turned to browse again. Neither of them helped! They sat browsing the internet!!!! I finally left. Horrible experience. If I could give negative stars I would.

Dr. Claborn is very nice and super comforting. Very laid back office. The front of the office looks very nice, but the waiting area is a little unwelcoming. I left trying out a new type of contact and decided to call and go back to my old contacts. The employee on the phone told me that she would call back with the total and take my payment. I didnt receive a call back so I called after 3-4 hours. Always nice and friendly but I would say not great at following up. All in all a great office.

This pearls vision is awesome. Dr clay born and Ashley are fabulous. Diligent with my eye exam appointment time, Dr. Claiborn was very personable and helpful and did just right amount of explanation without being wasteful of my time. Good service up front with staff on my glasses once exam was completed. First rate experience.

Great eye doctor, employees are very nice. However, i have waited over 2 1/2 weeks on my glasses and i cant get a straight answer as to why its taking so long. On top of that the number they tell you to call either is not connected to their building or they just dont return phone calls. I most likely will not be returning anytime soon.

They were nice when I was spending money with them but when it came to helping me afterwards they were very condescending. With the exorbitant prices it really wouldnt be too much to offer a complimentary foot massage while Im waiting. Instead Im being treated way differently because my money back guarantee ran out. Wont be spending my money here again

Long time customer and will never go back charged for a service I didn’t ask for or tell me it was extra . Then glasses 👓 Time was all these extra charges and couldn’t give a reasonable reason but it’s something new we are doing . Run run fast as you can from there and go to someone who is honest and reputable.

Staff are courteous. They have a good selection of popular frames. Though children selection is limited. The fifth star is absent due to the prices and lack of good selection of childrens frames.

It’s good optics with eye check up. Though charges seems high. Single vision lenses are $48 costly than bifocal which is strange and staff doesn’t know answer why. Staff looks inexperienced and new. It took 1.5 hours to just do billing after we finalized frame for 3 of us.

Go somewhere else! I’ve visited this location multiple times over the last year. They used to be the only place I would go to until recently. I’m very disappointed with how this particular store conducts business now. My husband ordered glasses and was quoted 3 days on the frames and up to 14 days on lenses. The lenses arrived in 4 days but it took 3 1/2 weeks to get his glasses. Not once did they call or update us. Come to find out, they didn’t even order the frames until we called to check up on the order. That’s not even close to being exceptable customer service. Pearl Vision has too many competitors for my family and I to put up with crappy service. We would’ve went somewhere else if they told us it would take almost 4 weeks!!!Don’t be fooled by the ratings! The first few times I visited Pearl Vision, the staff asked us to submit a review in order to be entered into a drawing. Customers would receive free merchandise and discounts in return for ratings. After my last experience with them, I’m convinced most of the comments were provoked by the staff. Great marketing strategy if you have the customer service to back it up. Oh how things change! I wrote a great review for this location just a year ago. This time, when I came in to purchase glasses, I was attacked by suited used car salesmen that wouldn’t give me 5 minutes alone to try on glasses. The gentleman that helped me was nice enough however, I ordered my glasses 2 weeks ago and called for an update and was told it will be another week for me to get them in. That will make the total time i’ve been without glasses 5 weeks. I’m not saying it is their problem that I don’t have glasses but if you’re going to quote a time to a customer under promise and over deliver, it’s just so disappointing to have somewhere go from the best service I have ever had to the worst.... no wonder so many businesses are closing.

Refused to honor my warranty due to not having proof they were destroyed after being specifically told I could replace them fully regardless of being lost, broken, or stolen. I paid over$300 for original pair after insurance which I felt was incredibly overpriced to begin with. I will be using another company from now on.

Great place. Rashad is extremely professional and great at making adjustments. I’ve been to many different locations and I’ve not had someone who just knows how glasses should fit and do it so professionally every time. He will clean the lenses for you afterwards, which you’d think every technician would do after putting fingerprints all over your lenses but the majority don’t. Keep up the good work!

Do not go here. They upcharge everything and force you to do things that are medically unnecessary and force you to pay for it. I had a full eye exam 2 months ago with a local eye doctor including the retinal Scan. In order to get contact lenses at pearl vision, you MUST get a full exam and retinal scan because they don’t except those from other places... which I don’t even need because I already did that and was given a clean bill of health. Without paying the hundred or so it costs to do those thinfs which are medically not needed , with insurance mind you, they will refuse to help you with anything else. Complete scam of a company. This is exactly why eye doctors should not be attached to retail stores

I give 2 stars as the doctor was very friendly and informative. I was told my glasses should be ready within a week and a half (but probably sooner.) I call to check I am told they wont be ready for another week. Over 2 weeks for frames and lowest quality lenses? In the 15yrs of wearing glasses I have waited no longer than a week. As a first time client I am very disappointed and I will probably not return after I receive my glasses.

I needed my glasses adjusted as they kept sliding down my nose. I did not purchase them at Pearle so I expected there would be a fee for the service but the staff adjusted them for free. They were fast and friendly! Thanks a lot!
