We were skeptical at first, but after going in, getting in quickly and paying 85 dollars for a virtual exam. We were highly satisfied! The price, the customer service, the wait times, no masks required. It was all a pleasant visit! Bryan at the Norman office was very knowledgeable and very helpful! Thank you!!

I Came to MY EYE LAB as a walk-in, greeted with a smile, fast and friendly service. The patient coordinator was excellent, I didn’t get her name. Associate Stacy helped me find the perfect frames (2 pair), she was very professional, knowledgeable and eager to assist. I would definitely recommend MY EYE LAB and I will be back!!! Thanks!!!!

My husband and granddaughter went into this Norman, Oklahoma site and received excellent service. They had to replace glasses that were done incorrectly at a different business in Indiana. They were greeted by kind and helpful staff. They took them in as a walk-in and had a good selection of glasses to choose from. They received their glasses in such a short waiting time. They love their new glasses. I will be going here for my new pair as well.

No in person optometrist. Used video person who was not an optometrist. Prescription was incorrect. I took the prescription to an optometrist and retested my eyes. Doctor said the prescription would marginally work, but only if the glasses were made perfect. Totally disappointed.I

Terrible experience all around.At first the place seemed nice but it quickly went down hill. My visit was conducted through a video call. My glasses were $300 (and i did not pay for any extras on my lenses). The my eyelab website states I am entitled to a refund on my glasses but I cant get through to anyone who will conduct the refund. I called customer service who attempted to call the store and told me no one answered that I would need to call them myself. I called the number given to me which also directed me to the customer service line. The woman who answered this call said word for word the same thing I was told before. I took down the stores email but have yet to receive a response. Save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere.

I bought 3 pairs of glasses recently over three visits. The customer service has always been friendly. However, Shelby has consistently been helpful, professional, and efficient every time!! There was a slight problem with this last pair, and we couldn’t quite figure it out. Shelby went above and beyond to figure it out and get it corrected. 🌟✨

Don’t fall for the price gimmick. The entire experience was very unprofessional. The poor woman checking people in was frantically running around trying to give people iPads to sign in and then going over and giving people their eye exams. She was nice but I felt bad for her. When we went over to the “glasses” side, it got less professional. It was like they got a girl off the street and put a lab coat on her. My whole family needed glasses but just my daughter and I went this day. When she said we would owe almost $800, my mouth hit the floor! We took our already paid prescriptions and went elsewhere!!! Got better service and less pricey glasses at a competitor.

The place is fine if you are comfortable with your eye exam to be done over a video call. I have no personal issues with that, but people should know this before going here. They do not advertise that the person doing the part of the exam where they switch lenses to see whats best for you will be done by a person who is clearly from out of the country, like a call center. This can be disappointing for some. Again, I was ok with it, but people should know.

I’ve had to wait every time even though I’ve scheduled an appointment. They have multiple people show up at once. I had a dr from over seas do my eye exam over a computer she rushed through my eye exam didn’t speak clearly and I never seen a clear lens throughout the exam. told her they are all blurry when asked which was more clear serial times then the appointment was over after never seeing a clear lens. Once I got my glasses no one called me and told me they were in. I had to call near the end of the day and they said oh ya they are in. I showed up and was handed my glasses and told if I need any adjustments come back. They were never fitted to my face so of course they slid off my nose constantly. My glasses were $109 frames made in China with specks missing in the color and some black specs in the frames that are a translucent light pink color. One of hinge is tight the other is loose with specs of the metal color flaking off after only 2 weeks on the hinges. My eyes are strained because the script is wrong. I waited 30 minutes after my appointment before I was seen with 2 ladies who seemed to be catching up on work and what the plan of the day is while I sit. So after being told I barely have a prescription several times they don’t offer refunds and will not be doing anything about my issue because the prescription reads by their machine what the dr prescribed. She is claiming my new pair one lens is 50% better than what my 5 year old prescription was and one is 25% worse which is highly unlikely. I am completely unhappy with the whole experience. I most definitely will not recommend or ever use my eye lab again. I only gave a 2 because everyone working their was pleasant.

I have a few issues - you advertise $89 contact lens eye exam and buy 1 get 1 pair of glasses free, but I ended up paying over $300 for 2 pair with an exam which is actually more than I paid a local doctor for my last visit. I went here for the advertised affordable services but might as well just went back to my local doctor. I would at least received a face to face exam instead of telemedicine through a screen. My script also changed drastically, so much even the tech commented and now I am hesitant to order a box of contacts. Also, I visited a month ago and still waiting on my glasses, which are marked as delayed. The only positive was the tech was very friendly.

The exam was virtual and went fine. I ordered my glasses. Went in the store to check the status of my order and was told my glasses had shipped 6 days before but hadn’t arrived and to check back tomorrow. They noted my account to call when the glasses arrived. Called to check and see if they had arrived today. I spent 20 minutes on hold with customer service to find out if they were here and was told they are in transit by their customer service center (in some other state) and that they were not able to get anyone to answer the phone at the local office in Norman because they were “busy with other customers”. By this time I was pulling in the parking lot and walked in the store. There wasn’t a single other customer there and 3 employees standing around. They offered to note my account and call me when my glasses came in. When I asked they check to see if they arrived they are sitting here waiting for pickup yet nobody ever called me even though the account was noted to call on arrival yesterday. After looking they’ve been here for several days. So I made 2 trips to pick them up and was told they weren’t here when they were sitting in a bin under the counter. The lady who adjusted them was nice but their customer service is terrible! Won’t be back!

Such a gimmick! Dont fall for it. There is no 2 for $59, or anything like it. My cousin went in for glasses. She came out $100 later and still owes $40 to be paid at pick up. This is just a scam to draw in those who already cant afford to pay for new glasses in the first place. My cousin had been saving up for months and now will be short on other bills because of false advertising.

If you try to call they refuse to tell you the price of the exam. They try to say it cost whatever you want! That the price of your glasses will be the price of your exam, so which ever glasses you choose will be the price of the exam. PLUS A FREE PAIR ON TOP OF THAT!! Absolute lies. I got there; was immediately charged $45, they only give you that $45 credit toward a pair, they don’t tell you the lenses cost $170 dollars before scratch proof and uv coating, and guess what! NO FREE SECOND PAIR. I just took my $45 dollar exam and left. All the staff was amazing though. I just HATE the hi-jinx. There’s no reason to lie to your customers when you have such a cheap exam rate. Just tell me! I still would have come and probably left 5 stars.

Was taking my genius pills when two days apart I broke both pair of my eyelab glasses. I went into the store intending to just buy replacement frames and not only did they put my lenses in the identical frames....they didnt charge me. What a great new eyewear shop! Norman has always been lacking in optical shops with lots of frames options. Now we have one! This spot has so many great options for every style. You know, we all dont want to look like Harry Potter or our grandma! I think everyone else is also very happy to have a new place to get glasses, so expect a wait. Dont get bothered if you dont get immediate assistance; its not fast food, and its not a drive-thru! This is a professional facility doing its best to help us all see better! When you go in, find BRYAN BASSETT! He is The BEST, and he will work with you until you are completely satisfied. He doesnt get frustrated or annoyed by questions or fitting issues. Its clear that his number one goal is to give you his full attention and make sure that you are 100% happy with your new glasses.

I had a terrible time with getting my exam and my prescription right. But there’s a very bright shining star that helped me to get everything straightened out. This wonderful lady is Angela!! She did a better job helping me get the correct prescription than the doctor who did the exam. Angela without a doubt went the extra mile to help me in every way she could. Personally wasnt a fan on the virtual eye exam. The guy I had was mumbling and was personally just not a fit for a doctor I usually like to have. But when I was looking at frames and reviewing everything after the exam Shelby helped my mom, sister, and me out. She was so sweet and did everything she could to really help us out. 10/10 want to try and get her again to help me out in the future.

Went in for an eye exam. My first exam since the pandemic hit, but dont be turned away by the virtual exam. It went smooth and I was out in no time with a new prescription. They have a lot of glasses to choose from and everyone was friendly and eager to help. I cant wait for my glasses to be ready. They do walk-in exams as well, so no prior appointment required. I recommend My Eyelab and look forward to future visits.

Back story.August 31st appointment and order of glasses. Sept 1st payment taken from account. Present day, still no glasses. Shipping error and dont expect until october 2nd. Now the reason for low review.Customer service was great starting. Glasses showed ready for pickup, show up, no glasses. Okay why? No reason given, 18th Sept, found it was a shipping error. Customer service was horrible from initial encounter. Literally had a representative laugh at me and hang up on me. Called back and was told we dont know what happened. Go into store, no help given, call back to customer service, nothing but attitude and beat around the bush tactic. So to all i wish you the best, but us as family of 5 who all uses glasses or contacts we will not be going back. Franchise owners are so far disconnected from the store, with only proves they are there for the money, not because they actually care to provide a form of medical care people need.

Was excited to get glasses sooner than anticipated only to discover they were impossible to read anything with, which meant a 80mile round trip just to hopefully have the problem resolved! I am updating this review: Since writing the original review, I have had the glasses remade. They are still unusable, with the same problems. Redoing them made no difference. I have gone back to my old Pearle Vision pair. I had tried them the two weeks to ensure that I gave it a fair chance, but had to throw them out as they were blurry and frustrating. Cheap lenses just arent for everyone. I sure with they were.The experience in office was enjoyable. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing. The exam was done by video conference. I was not told this prior and was not comfortable with it. Also, the doctor performing the exam did not have the greatest bedside manner. I paid over $250 for three pairs of glasses. Two regular and one sunglasses. Sadly, there are blurry spots on both pairs of regular. On one pair I see the numbers on the lenses in my line vision causing blurriness. The second pair has blurriness in my line of vision, but I see no numbers on the lenses as in the first pair. Yes, they are progressives and I expect a small amount of blurriness, but that is usually in my side vision. I am very unhappy with the results. These are the worst glasses I have ever owned. The sunglasses turned out perfectly. There are no blurriness to them. I have worn numerous progressives for years and never had these issues. The frames are cheap, but they feel very nice and fit wonderfully. The lenses are not good quality I am assuming or the person that fitted them is not very good at their job. Maybe the person that marked them for fit was new and didnt mark them correctly. I just dont know.

The experience started off good with quick service and I walked out with fresh contacts sample and an order for two pairs of eyeglasses. Price seemed a little high for the eyewear but I was ok with it. The contacts irritated my eyes and didnt seem to be the correct prescription. I returned for another exam and my prescription was actually wrong. They changed the eyeglasses order and gave me a sample for a different brand of contacts. Second pair irritated my eyes and didnt help my vision. I called the toll free number for eye lab and they told me to contact the store. I emailed the store and they responded with Ok we dont do cancellations or refunds at any of our franchise locations. So buyer beware, once you place and pay for an order, there are no refunds.

My niece has been waiting on contacts and glasses for over a month. She gets headaches from not being able to see. No one seems to know where they are and why they were not delivered to the store by the time promised. Every time she calls to ask where her glasses are she is told they will be there in two weeks, next week, on the truck for today. She has given them every opportunity to make it right. She asked for a refund and is getting the run around. I will be contacting the BBB if they will not give her a refund.

Save your money, time and effort! Had an eye exam and ended up purchasing glasses that got lost during the shipping phase and no one can give me answers or even offer to replace the glasses that I have yet to even pick up from the store. Customer service is a joke after spending two hours trying to get ahold of someone, that wouldn’t hang up on me, i was still left with no resolution. Very very unhappy with this experience and I will never go back to any location.

Ordered glasses on 2/25, paid over $200 for 1 pair (not single vision), still have yet to get them. So frustrating..... wanted to like this company, even sent my nephew and brother (theyve already received their glasses), but they have dropped the ball on my order.Horrible management. Christina was the best, I dont know why you guys let her go, she was the only one who knew what she was doing. Finally got my glasses. Missing a right contact from a set of trials, no one could tell me when or if I will get it. The manger is rude and doesnt need to be in charge. I only wanted what I was promised. We called to make an appointment today. Although, we are aware that it is set up as a walk-in. We are very aware of the Covid regulation and we hated to just show up. Trying to be respectful of others. As we walked in the first set of doors we were met by a female employee. Didn’t get far enough to get her name. No normal hello how can I help you. Instead we were met with odd looks. Actually caught her looking us up and down. With her hand held up in a stop position she asked us what we needed. Stated that we had an appointment set for 4:45. She looked at us confused again like we didn’t know what we were talking about. She looked at the guy that was behind the counter asking if anyone had made an appointment. Then asked her if she needed her eyes checked. Told her no, eye exam done at another place yesterday. She seriously asked us what we were there for then. My mother said well glasses. You know the item you sell here. She said nothing and looked at us again like we were the crazy ones. After she wanted to act like we were there to rob the place we decided that obviously this was not the place for us. We have insurance that they take. Money in hand to buy glasses. We turned to walk out. Whoever the employee that spoke to was she continued to look at us like we were the ones with the issue. Good luck in Norman! As a new company maybe employees should be a little more inviting and willing to help customers instead of treating them like dirt!

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! I am in the waiting in the waiting room as we speak. My appointment was at 10:45 and it’s 11:15. People walking in with no appointments going right back. The lady that helps with exams is super super rude!!!! I sat in the waiting room for 10 min without anyone acknowledging me. I’ll be going back to Focus after this.

Angela is amazing, she is such a stellar person. Besides being cosmically good at her job, she cares enough to make every experience personal. It felt amazing not being constantly pushed towards buying something and to get exactly what i needed. This was a last minute scheduling of an eye exam and it was so easy to do. The system of how they receive and process patients is outstanding. The Staff knows their trade-craft and does an excellent and orderly way to present information to patients. I was so delighted that when it came to finish, i was sad it had to end. Thanks again for such a great experience, i will be telling me friends to visit yall and ill be back soon!* Extremely safe with Covid precautions. Staff efficient, friendly and comforting for your safety.

If i could put 10 stars i would. I have went a year without glasses due to my income and not having insurance. My visit here was all around incredible and everyone was beyond welcoming and ready to jump in to help. Someone always made sure i had been taken care of and helped to the fullest. HUGE thank you to Shelby for assisting with my frames amd lense purchase and finding a way to make paying for my items easy, effortless and completely stress free. Honestly, I wouldnt have even given them 1 star, but to write a review I had to. I wouldnt recommend buying your glasses here, unless you plan on spending a lil more than twice what you could pay elsewhere. Their customer service is awful! Cant get an actual person on the phone from the store, all you get is a customer service agent whos barely understandable. The techs in store arent friendly, they barely talk to you, wander off in the back after handing you a pair, so the assistance is less than desired. Its very unprofessional in the Norman, Oklahoma location. The ONLY reason I even went there is because it was what I thought would be more convenient, due to location. I shouldve just taken the day off to go where they know how to treat people like they actually care about you and your needs, without charging them an astronomical amount.
