Store closed early and the employee inside would not even acknowledge our presence until we turned around and she watched us leave, full-well knowing that we had tried to just try to stop by. We were only there for a very quick glasses adjustment. But, apparently, they dont actually stay open until the advertised hours (the hours on the door saying they close at 8, but the website being more up-to-date with the current 7pm closing time). Pretty disappointing.

Really disappointed in my experience at this location. I came in for an eye exam and new glasses last year, and all was well until I received my new glasses. The prescription was wrong and I had to go back to be re-examined. Thankfully there was a different optometrist in the office when I returned because he knew immediately why the first Rx was incorrect and was able to give me a thorough exam to fix the problem. A year later, I got a scratch on my glasses and called to have them fixed, only to find it would cost $180 since I was never offered a protection plan when I purchased last year. This is not to mention that two pairs of glasses came to $325, even with insurance, one year ago. Too many mistakes, and too expensive, for me to return to this location again.

From start to finish, this was a seamless process. I needed to get an eye exam ASAP and called 3 other places before them. I was able to schedule my appointment online and choose from 3 different same day appointments. Staff was helpful and efficient. Definitely will go back.

I recently visited Visionworks for the first time and it was a very good experience. They were all professional and friendly and took great care to ensure all Covid cleaning and safety precautions were taken. Ashley and Jonathan were very helpful in choosing the right glasses for me and ensuring I got the best deal with my insurance.

Brittany, one of the employees was exceptionally helpful in setting up an appointment to get my glasses adjusted and then in person to adjust them in the midst of covid-19. Shes extraordinary in her customer service and excellent in her skill to perceive and correct the problem with my glasses. Ive been a satisfied customer of Visionworks for over 10 years!

Good overall service. A bit of a wait for my appointment but wasn’t unexpected. I had budgeted time for my appointment and the possibility of a delay. Very personable staff and engaging. Dr was very professional and spot on. I would recommend them as a good place to go to others.

Last year my two for one progressive glasses came out to about $100. Fantastic. I returned for the advertised buy one get one, wrongly assuming it was the same deal (this assumption was my fault) $160 frame (2 for this total price for frames) totaled at over $400!!!!!!!!!! I was so shocked, I almost left. I should have. In fact, I wish I would have but I was thinking about how I had stupidly already had the exam and I had paid for it first. At least I was given a reduced price but I wouldnt call it a deal because it was for only one pair. And if I dont want a photo of my eye, I shouldnt have to explain myself. I needed a quick check of my rx, hoping for an inexpensive update to my correction since I had already used my insurance coverage fir the year. I no longer find any advantage to what I thought was a reasonably priced cash optometrist. Sorry Visionworks but it was very frustrating.

Appointment only with a sign in process and screen to enter-very covid safe. Brittany was quick and attentive in fixing my sunglasses and I was in and out in 15 mins.

Well I went in just a minute ago to get my new glasses. I was super excited due to them being able to transition in the car and a cheaper option to prescription sunglasses. When I went in my glasses, they were actually incorrect and were only the ones that transition outside, but not in the car. They quoted me for the new transitions and it was 30 more if I went with that option or 50 more if I want the sunglasses. I asked if I could go home and think about it and they said sure. Well the girl then said she would talk to her manager about upgrading me to the sunglasses instead. The poor lady who made the mistake apologize perfusly and of course I felt bad about making a stink. What great service every time, even when a mistake is made.

Easy to schedule and friendly service. Only drawback is the cost between dialating eyes or the digital. Had to pay $39 more for digital. Otherwise, so far so good.

I have gone to VisionWorks over many years. The past couple of times I have seen Dr Owens. She is kind, patient and an educator. I love how she takes the time to explain what is going on. Or in the case of my teenager- she took the time to explain in what ways her eyes were healthy. Thanks!

Very positive, truthfully answered ALL my questions and concerns. Didnt confuse me with technical terms, left there feeling better than I did when I came in.

Five stars was well deserved. I went in for a exam and a pair of glasses. Not only was I greeted well, but everyone was polite nice and respectful even with my three year old present running around. After I ordered my pair of glasses after my exam, I asked if my glasses could be mailed to me in a different state. I was told a three week wait is what I was looking at, and I received them in just under two weeks. To my astonishing surprise, the glasses were perfect, and this is the real reason they get five starts, I found in the box my glasses and case plenty of towelettes and an actual cleaning tool. On the card was a not written to call if I had any questions or concerns. I would recommend this establishment to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

The workers were fine and I lived the doctor. Prices were pretty high by getting the sun glasses so called free helps the price I just wish I had a choice.get 50% off or 2 pair free

In these times of changing landscape of in person appointments, I had relative ease in scheduling and the check-in process, exam and check-out, including choosing frames was almost effortless. They demonstrated safe and cautious practices. I was definitely in good hands!

The doctor and her assistant were extremely knowledgable and kind. The office associates were helpful and friendly. It is a very efficient office, I was in and out within 30 minutes. All in all, a good experience!

I really enjoyed my appointment at this Visionworks location. The staff members were polite, patient, and courteous, and the doctor was calm, affable and very thorough without having my exam feeling intrusive or uncomfortable. After my exam there was a staff member (and I really wish I could remember her name to commend her for a job very well done) who helped me find glasses that I liked and fit my face, and she also spent extra time navigating my complicated insurance protocols to ensure I was getting all the coverages and promotions I was due. This was my best eye exam and glasses fitting, ever, and I would highly and strongly recommend this Visionworks location to any person.

What a horrible year of service. My Nike glasses with that cost nearly $800.00 have been nothing but a problem. This low budget operation has disappointed on so many levels. I have learned that the prescription that I was given was not correct from day one. After returning multiple times with complaints about headaches and poor fit I have given up on getting a resolution. If you look deeper you will find many complaints and poor reviews on a national level for this chain. Buyer Beware!

I decided to try vision works. They could get me in before my regular Dr.What a mistake. I had to take my eye glasses back and my contacts because they did not fit my right exam. It was 2 months before things were corrected. Going back to my regular Dr. for next exam. I do not recommend Vision work. Dr. was not patient friendly. Terrible experience.

I called to make an appointment and was pleasantly surprised they had same day availability! Even though they were very busy, my wait time was extremely minimal and all the staff was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Brooks was great during my exam and never made me feel rushed and took the time to answer all the questions I had. I highly recommend!

What a bunch of jokers . Wont sell lenses with out buying frames . Dont have a lens lab in the state of Colorado , say they have to send to Texas , 2 weeks away . Ha ha they probably order them from the new internet place. Why go there if they wont service me?

I like visionworks itself but the people at this location just don’t have customer service skills and it’s sad 😩. Girls are NEVER friendly even though it’s their job to help us.

What initially attracted me to this Visionworks was their large selection of frames, they have many different brands and styles to choose from. But on top of that the customer service I received was excellent! Laura, the store manager, took great care of me! She took time to help me get my insurance figured out, and helped me try on pair after pair of frames till I found the ones I liked. She didnt rush me at all, and she helped me feel like what was important to me was important to her. I would highly recommend this store and I will certainly be back next time I need an eye exam or new glasses!

Absolutely awful to try getting ahold of if needing to reschedule! It goes to a call center and after 15 minutes of waiting I got hung up on after finally getting someone on the phone.

This store is full of fantastic, helpful people! My son broke his glasses and they helped us out by finding other frames that would fit the lenses! My whole family has been there now and they have been very kind and patient with each of us. You couldnt ask for a better optometrist 😊

Vision works is a wonderful place to get an eye exam and full service glasses / contacts supplies as well. They got me in quickly, answered all my questions, work with my insurance, and made the entire process very easy to navigate.

I had a really great experience here getting contacts for the first time. Ashley and Brittany at the front desk were very friendly and courteous. Brittany checked me out and was super helpful and knowledgeable about trying to get me the best deal with my insurance. Aleita was my favorite. She sat with me for three separate appointments as I tried to get my contacts into my difficult eyes! Im not particularly fond of getting things done with my eyes and they all helped make it a very comfortable experience.

The staff are professional with good customer service. They are complying with all the Covid 19 guidelines which made me feel safe healthwise.

Weve used Visionworks for years in our family and have only had one issue with a set of glasses that was immediately taken care of, no arguments. The front staff has always been extremely helpful and kind. I didnt choose 5 stars, only because I need petite or kids frames and the last two times I havent been perfectly happy with my frame selection. They look good. Just hard to have a choice with minimal numbers of frames for me. (Plastic frames will never be for me...)

Great service from the front desk to the exam. Everyone was great and beyond friendly. Took a few test and was very detailed .Dr Hirata was awesome and went into detail on my eye results. One of the best exams I had in my old age. From sign in to sign out top notch service. I feel like Johnny Nash... I can see clearly now.

I recently relocated to Fort Collins, and my glasses needed to be repaired due to chips and scratches on the lenses. The Manager and staff were very helpful calling the out of state Vision Works location to retrieve my records, so they may assist me with the warranty work on my glasses. I was extremely happy with the doctor, the technician, and the lady who helped me with my prescription at Visionworks in Fort Collins Colorado. I was also very happy with the price for two glasses. Since I had both my own frames my cost was only $657 for two complete lenses with the progressive, transition, scratch proof and glareproof.

I own my own business and so it is very important for me to express how I feel when Ive had a good and bad experience. Hands down the customer service here was phenomenal, I felt welcomed and cared for. They made sure my daughter felt comfortable in new her new glasses. Being a pre teen going into middle school my daughter was concerned about having glasses in the first place. Laura stepped in and made her fell so confident in her glasses she literally struts them around! Thank you guys so much I will always recommend you!

I cannot say enough good things about the crew at this VisionWorks. The doctors, the techs, everybody...the customer service and attention to detail has been outstanding. I personally apparently have difficult vision to properly correct and they have been so helpful in finding the right fit for glasses and contacts. While we are still working on getting things set with my contacts, I have complete faith they will find the right solution. And...I can honestly say that no other eye doctor/company has put forth this type of effort. Kudos to the entire staff!!!

This was a while ago now, but I was mistakenly quoted a wrong price over the phone. When it came time to cashing me out, I was shocked the price was almost 200 more than what I was told. The person who told me that did not deny it so the manager, Kaylee (I hope I got that right), honored the price I was already told. That had to have been a hard pill to swallow as it was on already discounted frames, but she did it with a smile and genuineness that is the kind of attitude that will make me come back again. Thanks again for that Kaylee!Their staff and awesome eye doctors (some of the best Ive seen around town-and Ive seen a lot) are the reason I will keep going back. Their deals are nice, too, but the people there make that place worthwhile to go to and then go back again.

I live in Cheyenne Wyoming, made a appointment for an eye exam,had every intention to buy new glasses,got there,walk in,started looking at frames,associate was busy,I understand that, she never a acknowledged me,never said a word to me ,stood by the window a couple of times, Walked around the store of couple more times still didnt get no acknowledgments so I just left

I have insurance but knew only one pair would be partially covered.. they worked me up an amazing deal on 2 pairs because we put one through insurance and the other was 50% OFF!!! What a great experience! I will always come here for my eye care needs!

This place saved my vacation. I lost my glasses when our raft capsized, and I was in dire straights because it was day 1 of our vacation. We came in on a Sunday, told them what happened and they were very upfront about what they could do. Eventually they said they could promise to do it by noon the next day. Here I am at 11 picking up my glasses. So many thanks to the staff, Dr. Owen, Flint and Brittany for taking good care in our tiny emergency. Plus it was just under 200$, so I’m really happy. This is my third experience with Visionworks (twice in Chicago) and they do good work, even on a bad day. Again, you all saved our vacation, and cost us barely any time. Thank you.

I must update this post, unfortunately. Visionworks is now using a call service--you cant get through to the store when you call. Ive waited a total of 25 minutes two different times, and the phone was never picked up on their side--just endless go to the website, and do you know our new hours, and please keep holding...please keep holding. I was never connected with a person who could help me. This will probably be the nail in the coffin of going to Visionworks for me and the kids. Im just getting tired of not being able to speak to my care provider.Earlier post: The staff and doctors are always helpful to me and my kids. I appreciate their flexibility with appointments. Weve always had good luck with their products. Both my kids learned to wear contacts here, and it was a good experience for both of them.

I have been going here for 10 years. I have always been satisfied. Dr. Owens is wonderful. Really took the time to make sure I knew I was important. I didnt feel rushed at all. Ashley is AMAZING. I was feeling self-conscious and had a hard time picking the right frames. She was really patient and friendly with me even though I tried on soo many pairs. She treated me like a friend. It really made the whole experience so lovely. I recommend this store to all my family and friends.

I went to vision works the other day during my lunch hour to have them fix my glasses. Laura Ladd helped me and I couldn’t believe what a great experience I had there. She was friendly and professional and best of all the service was quick. I didn’t even have to wait. I plan on making an appointment within the next month. The staff is friendly and Laura is amazing!

Dr. Britney was very thorough and explained everything in detail. Best experience I’ve ever had. Mary helped me out front and she was great also. I’ll keep returning to Fort Collins Visionworks as long as Dr Britney is there.

Visionworks is usually open to appointments pretty quickly and they have the latest equipment. The doctor took the time to explain things well and what the tests were for and what she looks for as far as diseases. They have a good selection of eyeglasses and my gas permeable contacts will come in less than a week, and my son left with a pair of trial contacts. They were very understanding and were able to split my bill under two different credit cards which helps me to get reimbursed as I file a claim for my insurance. The price of exams is about the same as anywhere you will go which is about $130. More if you opt in to do the exam that looks into your eyeball but with no pain or dilation. We will probably end up going back the next time we need an exam.

The staff here is fantastic! They earned my business by fixing my glasses for free and treating me like I was a paying customer 3 yrs ago. I got a new contact prescription here 2 weeks ago and found out they’d be arriving too late for my vacation. Tracy (super nice and personable) bent over backwards to locate and ship some from other stores make sure I’d have more than enough contacts for my vacation to Hawaii! I’m leaving tomorrow and am so happy, I took time out of packing to acknowledge what amazing customer service they have. Special thanks to Tracy but Dr. Hirata was great as well as the rest of the staff. Lifelong customer status confirmed!

My appt was quick and I was able to pick out frames and be done in minutes after eye exam. Doctor very thorough and explained eye issues and what it meant in relation to whole body health. Did not expect the expertise I experienced, from a franchised corporate business located in a strip mall. I felt like the doctor I had seen, treated me as a patient, not a consumer. That matters to me in the fast food culture we live in. Thanks doc. Ill see you next year.As for the front staff, they rocked it too. I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THE REVIEWS! So the first time I came in I was looking for glasses for my 5 year old (his own eye doctors frames all seemed a little big), so I was looking for different options. I was not greeted and found the kid section on my own. I had questions but I tried to get someones attention at no avail. I found some cute ones so I brought my child in to try them on. We found some and it took awhile to find some that fit, but were in a bit of a hurry and with no help we put them on hold and left. I came back a few days later to purchase, they were having a deal buy one get one free. They were both under $80 so we were sold. We went through the process for about 45 minutes attempting to purchase them (I brought in his prescription from his usual doctor) and it felt sales like and pressured the entire time. The lady even entered the measurements wrong the first time, thankfully she had someone re enter them correctly. Although it was buy one get one free with both $80 glasses I ended up paying $120. She never answered why their advertisements were not accurate. I bought them anyways because he needed glasses and I wanted to get out of there. We finally picked them up tonight. Not only were the bifocals completely uneven on each side, they were totally cross eyed. Plus my kid could not see out of them, they were obviously not the correct prescription. Will never visit this place again.

I highly recommend the Ft. Collins Visionworks. We’ve been getting our eye care here for over 10 years. I don’t have experience with other locations. IWe drive 35 miles to go to this Visionworks after we moved from the area Dr. Hirata is thorough, knowledgeable and personable. I trust her with my eye care as well as with my kids. I am impressed with the rest of the staff at this location as well. They are excellent.

Terrible experience. I got the worst pair of glasses from them. Their glasses are very bad quality, their technicians are clueless about what theyre selling you or how to fit your prescription into the lens right. Ordered high density glasses for heavy rx and when they arrived, the glasses looked like they came from 1950! They told me it was *my*fault I had such a heavy prescription and that was the best density they could get for me. Went somewhere else a few months later to get a much much better fit. Clueless. Dont go there. One star is even too much to give them! They gladly took my hard earned money for a horrible quality product.

I scheduled my appointment on Saturday morning and was able to go to my eye exam only a few hours later. Everyone was extremely friendly and thorough.

My family of seven goes here every year for glasses and contacts They always take good care of us. They have great deals so when the kids break their glasses I know I can come in and get them new glasses without breaking the bank.

Everyone that I have interacted with here has been simply wonderful! I have been wearing glasses since I was 10 years old and this last visit was the first time I wanted to try contacts. Aleita was very patient with me as I struggled to get the contacts in for the first time. We laughed and I ended up being able to get the darn things to stay in my eyes. First and last time going. I wear glasses to correct an astigmatism. I have a slight perscription but it changes my depth perception which is important. The first woman was nice, but the optometrist was incredibly cold and unwelcoming. I don’t know if it is because I am Muslim or because that’s how she treats all her patients. When I was going to pick out my glasses you could hear her speaking very in a very condescending tone to two other employees. I’ll be going to a different optometrist from now on.

Dr. Hirata is one of the best eye doctors I have ever seen, & the staff at VisionWorks is great! The office takes walk-ins & appointments, & has convenient hours. I have been a client for 12 years. Highly recommend!

We had a daughter go here for some glasses because of the prices. They had to give her an eye exam to get her new prescription.yhey got here in the same day and every time we get her new glasses it only takes a few days to get them. We have been very impressed with the drs and staff here always very helpful and very kind. We will continue to bring our daughter here for her eye exams and glasses.
