I was greeted immediately by a friendly professional staff. The waiting area was clean, comfortable & accommodating. I was promptly taken back for my appointment. The technician took photos and explained what everything was for & what the photos showed. She also gave me helpful tips to improve my dry eye. The doctor was friendly, answered all my questions & further explained what my photos showed him. The new prescription i was given is perfect. My entire experience was great, not a single complaint!

Ive been going here for the past couple of years and have never had a negative experience. On my last visit, I accidentally showed up an hour earlier than my scheduled appointment time. I was seen in less than five minutes!All of the front office staff are very warm and welcoming. Theresa administered most tests for me and is always very funny and sweet. She always makes visits so painless and easy. Dr. Anderson is also great. Hes professional, takes his time, and listens to all concerns no matter how trivial they may seem to me. On this particular visit, Dr. Anderson had to step out for an emergency but gave me a call the next morning to apologize and ask if I needed any more help.To say the least, you will not regret choosing Village Optical. I have been a patient of Dr. Anderson for 30 years. He is thorough and diligent in taking the best care of my eyes. His staff is friendly and caring and his equipment is second-to-none. I drive from Denver to Ft. Collins to see him and its worth every mile. He caught my glaucoma early and got it under control quickly. His office offers a wide range of frames and whether I choose the latest and greatest frames or the Im broke this year frames, I know Im getting the quality that I need for the best vision possible. I trust his advice and follow it. His staff is knowledgeable and caring and they keep in touch with me on a regular basis. I wouldnt trust my eyesight to anyone else.

Dr. Anderson was great! Very knowledgeable and easy enough to get in to in a timely manner. HOWEVER beware of the billing. I paid for my contacts and services 3 months prior - contacts still not in. I call. They say they forgot to bill me for something and havent ordered my contacts at all even though I paid the full $220 for them months ago. They say nothing of sending me a bill. A month later, still no contacts. Just received a bill for a contact fitting out of the blue and have still heard nothing of whether or not my contacts have come in yet. Not happy with that aspect in the slightest, but I can appreciate the quality of care and friendliness of staff. A-.

Dr. Anderson is the best Doctor of Optometry I have seen. I have been going to him yearly for over 16 years. He always dedicates a lot of time to discuss any issues I am having with my eyes. He is extremely thorough. He is a top notch Doctor.

I have been going to this doctor for what seems like forever , probably close to 15 years. My last experience was not pleasant at all. The staff has become rude (they used to be the sweetest ladies), Dr. Anderson seems to only be concerned about the money and not spending time with his patients. I had ordered glasses through Pearle Vision because I did not feel like spending the money on glasses through village optical. When I brought them in for my eye testing I was told they were cheap and I was lectured about why not to buy glasses there. Not everyone has money to buy really expensive frames through village optical. After billing my insurance and paying almost 200 dollars up front, I was sent another bill for something they said my insurance didnt cover. When I called to get an explanation of the bill they were not helpful at all, but rather rude and condescending. I was passed to several employees before getting an answer. There were issues with ordering my contacts and I had to either go into the office or call them several times to get resolved. Service has definitely gone down hill since first coming here and because of this last experience I will be going elsewhere. And likely sharing this experience with others who I know see Kevin Anderson.

Once I had something in my eye and I called on a Sunday evening. Dr Anderson returned my call and met me at the office. I was so thankful that he took care of me and my eye was back to normal the next day. My contacts and glasses are great and they always make sure that I am happy with my eyewear. Could not see well out of my glasses, Dr Anderson said I needed to buy computer glasses also. I asked for my prescription to purchase elsewhere, the office refused! They would not even check the VERY expensive glasses purchased from them. Took glasses to Northern Colorado Eye Center to check out. They were NOT progressive, as I paid for. I asked for refund, they refused. These people are very deceitful. Warning!! Wolves in Sheeps clothing!! RESPONSE.... Dr. Anderson now blames the patient, or lab, anyone but himself. I have had a lot of problems with your office, and request a full refund, for my defective glasses. Any ethical company gives refunds when the customer does not get a usable product. You need to put your patient ahead of your wallet!!

My family and I have been seeing Doctor Anderson since 1997 and would not see anyone else. He and his staff are exremely personable and Dr. Anderson has the most sophisticated diagnostic equipment available. When I had an occular migraine and did not know what was happening, he saw me immediately without an appointment. I recently underwent eye surgery to repair a torn retina and trust the ongoing monitoring of my eyes to Dr. Anderson.

Ive been coming here for 3 or 4 years now and the staff is always friendly and I can always get great frames for cheap .I tried pearle vision and it was way to expensive, I honestly wouldnt go anywhere else for my contacts or glasses

I have been a patient of Village Optical for over ten years. They have always worked with my schedule and have addressed any problems that I have. They give a very thorough exam. If I havent liked the frames that they offered they were willing to let me look at the frame book to order frames that they did not carry. I have had some personal issues this year and Dr. Anderson and his staff have always shown concern and compassion with my problems. The staff has gone above and beyond to help me with billing my insurance, both medical and VSP. I recommend Village Optical to my friends and family. I have never had an issue with the staff not willing to help. I would suggest to the folks that say they had problems to speak directly with Dr. Anderson.

I used to live in those apartments and parked in his parking lot once, the owner yelled from across the parking lot, Do you not know how to read? or something along those lines as he pointed to this parking sign. I completely understand if you needed me to move my car, but you dont have to speak to people like that. Of course I know how to read douchebag. Super unprofession, I wont ever go back there again.

I started seeing Dr. Anderson in 2007 and was impressed with the thoroughness of his exams, sophistication of his equipment. While I briefly left his services to be assisted by an MD (Dr. Anderson is an OD), I returned after finding out that his refraction exams yielded me much, much better and more accurate prescriptions than those through an MDs office. I also found that his coordination of services with Omni Eye Center of Denver, where their specialized ophthalmologists (MDs) come to Fort Collins to deal with the medical issues that Dr. Anderson identifies ended up meeting all my eye-related medical needs. I continue to be impressed by Dr. Andersons care and referral network and trust the results of his sophisticated exam equipment and his evaluation of my eyes conditions. Both he and his staff have been excellent to deal with over the years and Ive referred several friends to his service.

Dr Anderson, as others have posted, does seem at times impatient. I also got the hard sell on a costly procedure that is not covered by insurance. I will get a second opinion.
