My daughter had her initial appointment here yesterday and I have mine tomorrow. They were a wonderful staff all around. The receptionist was kind, the dental assistant was absolutely wonderful and informative and I truly hope she is there for my appointment (didn’t catch her name, but I will tomorrow). The dentist was excellent as well, and while it appeared they don’t specialize in pediatrics, they were helpful in referrals. I look forward to seeing them for myself. One thing I loved the most was that I saw them all laughing and working together as a team, even at the end of the day! I can’t give a thorough review yet, but I’m sure I will be pleased with my experience as well. Also, not my concern, but their COVID risk prevention was on point also, for those of you that are. Thanks for making my mini me feel so safe and welcome!

Castle dental is great. Ive been going here for two years now, for orthodontics and periodontists, the office has always been very kind and made my experience in getting braces on my own as a young adult so easy. My previous orthodontist who has now left the practice was very kind, the new orthodontist that I see now is just as amazing and kind! As well as the office staff that I’ve interacted with, they are all so very kind!

Just finished up a cleaning and a crown today and though it took a couple of appointments it was an extremely smooth process... All the assistants were very courteous, kind and did a great job of putting my mind at ease because frankly I was terrified... Dr. Kao was the best dentist I’ve encountered... Very informative, a straight shooter and a cool guy to be honest... Nothing but praises for this establishment, thanks for the hospitality...

Dr. Zarroug was Awesome! But, on the other hand.. The receptionist and dental assistant was not. I wasnt told before arriving that if I had chosen the local anesthesia.. my ride had to stay in the parking lot or in the office. Ive never had anything like this done before so I didnt know. So, then I was told by both the receptionist and the dental assistant that if my ride wasnt back in 30 minutes that they would have to reschedule me.😐 okay, I was already scared and overwhelmed of what was fixing to happen. So that statement pushed me to feeling even more overwhelmed!😣 We had just driven over an hour and half to get to this location. Next time, I highly recommend that you inform your patients with All the information before they make their way to the office. Whether or not they decide to do the local anesthesia. I am not one to not follow directions. I just wasnt informed and then i was lectured. Not very personnal. The Dental Assistant that helped me to my car was the only one that asked me if I was doing okay. She was Great!

Made appointment on Saturday for the very next Monday. Confirmed the appointment that day via the text message they sent. Got there Monday, after having made arrangements to attend the appointment in the first place, and was told they gave away my appointment. I missed work, drove from another town, and all for nothing. However, as frustrating as that was, I was pleased with the dental work I did eventually receive.

I am not fond about dental visits due to bad past experiences. This crew completely changed my outlook in one visit! I was super scared going in but I knew I needed to get the work done.. They were so gentle and understanding with me, not to mention thorough! I highly recommend Castle Dental to anyone!

I posted about my bad experience so I certainly need to post about todays visit which was a complete opposite. They got me in after hours and everyone was very pleasant and professional from the front desk lady, to the assistant to dentist. My whole visit was less than 10 minutes. Which coming straight from a 9-5:30 was truly a blessing. I was reassured I could come back in the next day if anything wasnt right or Monday since theres a holiday coming up. Thank you for your understanding and going above and beyond this evening. Thank you also for making sure the work was done right before sending me home with it.

Had to have a new crown made. They were amazing. People are kind and professional and the work they do is fantastic. The Dr did so well measuring and X-raying that the crown came in perfect. Not a single adjustment needed! Couldn’t be happier.

I have had multiple bad experiences in this office and I am completely dissatisfied with the professionalism and service provided in this office. If I had other providers available through my insurance provider I would gladly switch. Patients are charged a $10 PPE fee the patient must pay prior to service. I have never had to pay a PPE fee for any service I’ve received since this pandemic including healthcare providers I have visited. I was also not informed of the few prior to my visit. Along with this, I have had the office cancel visits or double book my visit and make me reschedule. Which cleanings are always booked 2-3 months out. The doctor and hygienist who were working on my teeth a few years ago were gossiping and speaking badly about a couple-worker while working on my mouth. In addition, the x-ray tech x-rates the wrong side of my face when I had tooth pain and exposed me to unnecessary radiation. After multiple issues I switched providers a few years ago and unfortunately had to switch back after the dentist I was seeing stopped accepting my insurance. It is literally the only provider available within a 70 mile radius for my insurance. I am extremely unsatisfied and I do not recommend anyone visit this office or this franchise.

I had a visit with Dr. Cingh and Ms. Diane today for a root canal. This was my first visit to this office. Ms. Diane and Dr. Cingh were so pleasant the entire time. I enjoyed good laughs like we were long lost friends. They made my dental experience memorable for all the right reasons. Everything was explained and all my questions were answered. They insured I was comfortable throughout the procedure. I felt no pain or discomfort and before I knew it I was done. I cant say enough positive things about them but everyone should experience this type of care. My only wish is that Dr. Cingh did general denistry. Thanks Dr. Cingh and Ms Diane! I truly appreciate you.

I thought charging $10. EXTRA to pay for ppe equipment because of covid was unneccessary. They didnt have anything different then my Dr. Office and they didnt charge me. Only one with face shield was Dr. rest just had mask. Otherwise my hygienist was very nice and did good cleaning.

This place is the best! I had an emergency when a tooth broke and they took me on a Friday Afternoon to get it fixed. I was really scared and in a lot of pain, but the staff are super friendly and took great care of me. Doctors, assistants, and even support staff are wonderful people.

I had a very good experience here, and will be back for any needed dental work. I was a cold call as a new patient, and was seen within 24 hours. The dentist, and the assistant were very good, and always checking with me to make sure I was ok. I recommend them to anyone that needs dental work, especially a tooth pulled!

It doesn’t matter what time you set your appointments , you will be waiting for 45 mins before you get seen. So just be ready to spend literally , all day here .Edit : eight months later and I am still highly disappointed with this dentist office. I paid for my crown, received my root canal at another office, due to Covid I could not be seen as soon as I would hope. I informed them that I would not like to be refunded and I would be in the office as soon as I could, when I finally was able to be seen they refunded my account and sent the check to an old address. Now I have to re-pay for everything at a higher rate.I hate this dentist office I do not recommend it to anyone.

This was the first office that not only helped me with all my requests, but the staff was AMAZING!!!!!! I’ve never felt so comfortable going to a dentist office like I did with Castle (Killeen). My husband and I will be forever patients.

They took real good care of me. I have a problem with staying numbed during procedures but they made sure to watch out for me. The staff is so helpful and the doctor is so very nice. If you have a fear of dentists, this is the place to go.

I was a patient for years without issue, they even got me comfortable with seeing the dentist without fear. Apparently sometime last year they switched staff and I saw Dr Kao the end of last year for a routine cleaning. He somehow managed to hit a nerve in my jaw with novacaine. My face was numb for weeks and I still dont have tingling sensations in my cheek. The biggest issue for me was how many times I had to go up and complain before he finally admitted he hit a nerve, then he proceeded to give me his phone number to contact him rather than the office. Hes the only dentist in the office and theres no way Id ever go back, even to repair the issue. Ive asked 3 maybe 4 times since the incident happened for my dental records to be sent to me and I havent received a single copy. Luckily I found an amazing new dentist, but Id never step foot in castle dental again!

They have contacted me for two weeks to confirm my appointment. Now, less than 24 hours they canceled on me and expect me to reschedule. I took off work, out income to show up and now they want me to wait several months. FYI, they asked me to confirm appointment 3 times so they could have a full calendar and make money. Now Im out a days work which I kept open for them and Im short money to pay Bills.

One of the last places to visit. Dentures made are substandard and they charge for work not preformed. Run fast away from this company.😭😧😤😡😠👿They smile as they steal your money.

It was easy to get an appointment. I got one pretty quickly. They called to remind me of it and even text me so I didnt forget. Everyone was nice, friendly, and helpful. I didnt wait to long for my appointment. I would definitely recommend this dental clinic to anyone who needs dental care. And they work with you on a dental plan if you cant pay the amount in full right then. They are great.

I was very impressed. The staff are super friendly and the communication between office and client was amazing. I was comfortable, and felt at ease my entire visit. My hygienist was Mary and she was absolutely amazing. Teeth never felt cleaner. She is very thorough but has a gentle touch. I will defiantly being requesting her again.

I took 20 minutes for me to be seen and 39 minutes to be checked out. I got to the waiting room at 1020 and the clerks at the desk didnt check me out till 1050. But they did have time to have a 10 minutes conversation with each other and werent helping any customers while they were chatting. I did not have a good experience but the dentist was excellent.

She is also the first dental hygienist to explain to me how to use “DENTA 5000 PLUS” dental cream correctly (l had been using it incorrectly as a stand-alone toothpaste).Thanks for the great professionalism and advisement!

Friendly staff. I had a great experience. Would definitely recommend.7/12/17. Just left another appointment. This time, I got my front tooth fixed that had chipped. I was nervous and skeptical that they could make it look natural but let me tell you, it does!! I am super pleased with the work done today! Everyone is so friendly and attentive.

I waited for two hours to be seen for a routine exam and then when they finally get me to the back I was rushed because they were close to closing. Not only did they not finish what I was scheduled to be seen for, they wanted me to come back later because they ran out of time, and planned to charge me second co-pay for something they did not complete in the first place. The waiting area was hardly full and staff didn’t appear to be busy but still couldn’t be bothered to update the waiting patients on the delays.

Abby is the best dental hygienist Ive had in 30+ years. No one has ever gotten my teeth so clean! I strongly recommend her. The actual dentists seem to rotate out quite often but theyve all been pretty good the last 10 years. Never had a billing issue; they also discount cash patients if you dont have insurance.

The service was really good which exceeded my expectations. Especially the attending dentist personnels of their professionalism and expertise and good dealings towards their patients.

My first visit was great. They were able to get me the same day appointment. They were very kinda and gentle when doing my dental work.

Im glad that other dentist is gone! He ruined my tooth! I am in pain now, and cry every time I eat my favorite chips! He blamed it on stress! My tooth is not only pressure sensitive, but now HEAT sensitive. Heat used to be my savior, and is now my downfall. AND they tried charging me for x-rays I never had done! I already have depression, that dentist made it worse, and my tooth is ruined forever. I would rather not have one!Update: My tooth has gotten worse! I am sensitive to cold and sweet drinks too! The root canal specialist in Georgetown said no action was needed, but it is worse. Dr. Harris is responsible for turning a minor cavity into a MONUMENTAL DISASTER, and NO ONE can tell me WHY.

Dont have no issue with the clinic always very well Down clean, my issue is with all different stuff anytime that Im going over there its a different faces I dont know where shell policy and I respect that that are in anytime its a different people over there its reschedule or your appointment is going to be moving to this day because the doctor says not here its okay I can understand that but when we need to reschedule appointment for inconvenience you guys always giving us a hard time either no appointment or wana send back like 3-4 months and I dont think thats right because it look like its just for your convenient we pay insurance we pay ur money, anytime I going to my regular appointment they always get me a bill this is what you have to pay this would the insurance pay and guess what send me a bill for a penny and if I sent really Aqua back to the clinic oh Im a new over here but Im going to talk to the manager she will call you back never call me back I like the clinic its very convenient for me because its 5 minutes for my work but you guys need to get a straight with your stuff a manager

I came as a walk-in basis as they advertised on their website. But they don’t do walk-ins and would prefer for me to wait and be in pain than help apparently.The staff was rude to me upon walking in and they were on their phones and didn’t acknowledge me for about five minutes.Definitely wouldn’t recommend nor go to if you are needing a simple fix.

The staff is so kind. The Hygienist Lance is AMAZING!!! Couldn’t ask for a more caring, considerate individual who puts a clients needs and comfort first. He knew how terrified I was, because of a bad experience at another local dentist office that left me skipping my last dental cleaning and not wanting to go to the dentist ever again. He addressed the problem in a manner that did not hurt me or make me even more traumatized, he actually has me looking forward to my next cleaning in 6 months! He took his time and was patient with me. Same goes for Dr. Kao! Lance, Dr. Kao, and the very sweet assistant (who’s name I do not want to butcher) but do believe it starts with a C, she has a 10y daughter who wants to grow up to be a Veterinarian...we need more people like these 3 individuals in a career field like Dental that so much of the public finds themselves not looking forward to their appointments but do now because of people like them! -Jamie

I called and asked if they took my insurance and they said yes. They called the day of my appointment and said there was a mix up with my insurance and cancelled my appointment. I called my insurance and got everything taken care of. I called and made another appointment asking if they took my insurance they said yes. I got there 30 minutes early and they didnt say a word. Then they said they didnt take my insurance

Since I started going to Castle Dental, Ive always had good experiences. The ladies at the front desk are friendly and very helpful. The dental hygienist I had today was very supportive. Dr. Tanksley is an excellent dentist and I would gladly recommend Castle Dental to anyone in need of dental care.

The staff is really nice but the wait is long. My appointment was at 12:30 and which I had to be there at 12:00. It is now 1:36 and I still have not been seen or taken to the back. Hopefully when I go to the back it wont take so long. While it did and I sat back there just to be told nothing they can do here and that I would have to be sent to Georgetown office next week to help me. What a waste of time. Very disappointed and not coming back here.

My experience with Castle Dental in Killeen was great until I got a bill for my services 4 months later. My insurance company told me there is no way this company should be billing you this amount the amount was basically the cost for the entire vist as if I did not have any insurance. I am active duty military and this is the 2nd time my spouse has been ripped off by an dentist office in Killeen Texas.

We were very pleasantly surprised with our experience at Castle Dental as new patients, due to a change in our insurance. From the first call we made to schedule appointments to x-rays and cleanings everyone was very friendly, highly capable and knowledgeable and quick to answer any questions we had. They were also great with the kids. We also had 2 ortho consults which resulted in highly competitive prices for orthodontics. Monica, Fabianne and Tammy were all great! We would highly recommend this office to friends and family.

The front desk is very helpful. The back staff is Non-Stop entertainment always willing to put a smile on your face when youre at the dentist. I would highly recommend them

I was referred by a close friend since I was having issues with my current dentist and I went in on my day off due to being in severe pain a few days prior. It was my first visit with this office and I was pretty happy that they were able to see me the same day. Had some minor technical difficulties with the X-rays but everything was worked out and the doctor was able to figure out what was causing the pain. I am now being referred to a specialist and I look forward to coming back as a regular patient! :)

Staff were friendly but the dentist I saw ignored anything I said and proceeded to pretty much dictate what he wanted to do. I had a work up before moving to the area so Im aware of exactly what is required for my dental work. Any concern I brought up was dismissed. I dont recommend Castle at all, very unpleasant experience.

First off, I am absolutely terrified of dentist. Had a bad experience when I was a small child. But I found the most super dentist at Castle Dental. Dr Alrajab and his assistant, Lakesha, make the best team ever! I have never had things explained to me in a manner where I understood clearly what he was going to be doing. And his assistant is as caring as he is. I experienced no pain while I was in the chair. I could go on and on about this doctor and his assistant. I found a dentist for life! I wouldnt go to another dentist these folks are quick nice as can be they explain everything to me I asked about and more they really go above and beyond . Not to mention it unpleasant to go to the dentist any way but not here I was totally calm as were they and I couldnt ask for a better dentist. You guys are awesome !!!!!!

The wait was two hours after our appointment time, both doctors we spoke with were incredibly rude and talked down to me like I was dirt on the ground. They refused to give me any prices for any procedure until they were ready to take the patient into the other room to begin work. The only nice person I encountered was the lady whos job it is to tell you what the final cost is, the poor dear having to tell everyone how they are being ripped off and forced to collect the full amount up front, unless you would like to open a credit card, of course. They advertise price breaks if you pay cash, but even with their discount they still wanted $4,000 dollars to pull 4 teeth and create a temporary partial until the rest of the teeth were pulled. I refused to pay them our entire dental budget for pulling 4 teeth and walked out. The only good thing to come out of this visit was the ability to take copies of the x-rays with me on a flash drive so I will not have to pay for more x-rays at the next place. The doctors claim they do not know the prices of the services they perform; yeah, right, I dont believe that for one second. The right hand has no clue what the left hand is doing, the employees are either left clueless or trained to be crooks. It is easily evident that the employees are not content with their employer through their tone of voice and body language. At Affordable Dentures in Waco they will perform the extensive necessary dental work my loved one requires for the same price Castle Dental wanted for only 4 teeth. I was absolutely shocked at the blatant disrespect the doctors exhibited towards me and my family. I asked the oral surgeon, politely, if he could please tell me what an erupted tooth was, because he was saying there were many and it sounded horrible. The oral surgeon huffed and didnt even have the courtesy to answer my question. So, I immediately googled it on my phone only to learn that its not as bad as he made it out and they were seriously attempting to overcharge. Do NOT use Castle Dental. I wish I had read the reviews before we attempted to hire their services.

Monday 6 March I had an appointment for a dental cleaning. When I arrived the receptionist was very friendly and nice. The Hygientist was delightful and made me laugh quite often. I wish more people would be like that.

Horrible, sketchy and slow.i called and set an appointment and showed up 15 mins prior as instructed. i was not seen until i went to the front desk and asked how long it would be because i had already been waiting for 30 mins past my scheduled appointment time. after i complained i was finally taken to the back to do xrays. the xray tech didnt know what she was doing, and asked irrelevant questions. the dental hygenist was okay. dr joseph kao was completely unwilling to perform the treatment because he wanted me to go with a more expensive option. when i was going over the treatment plan with the receptionist, there were multiple times that she scratched out and changed prices on the paperwork that were incorrect. unprofessional, sloppy crooks, so much for wanting to care for patients and the community. stay far away!!!

This is an awesome office. The Manager Allie, is so friendly,very knowledgable, compassionate and kind. You will have a great dental experience here.

I have seen several of the doctors there, and they have the greatest bed side manner. They always get me in and out as quickly as possible. I have had cavities filled, a phrenectomy, and am pending a deep cleaning before I get invisalign. The procedures I had done required local anesthetics, and I couldnt be happier with their understanding and gentle care during this process.
