I love the staff and everyone very friendly. Jessica, Brandy, and Jami are the best. I work late and they always accommodate my time for later appointments. The staff is very informative and helpful. I’m glad I dropped in to schedule appointment. I will continue to I trust these guys and gals to keep my smile beautiful.

I HAD A DENTAL EXAM WITH DR. ANDY HUANG AND DENTAL CLEANING PROVIDED BY JAMI GULLEY. BOTH WERE GREAT AND VERY INFORMATIVE. I DEFINITELY PLAN ON RETURNING AND RECOMMENDING THIS BUSINESS TO OTHERS.

What a terrible first impression. I went to KMD on Wednesday 9/22. My appointment time was at 1 PM. I got there at 12:45 as requested to get my paperwork done and check in as I was a new patient. I got checked in and sat down and waited for my appointment. There was only one other person in the waiting room. I saw 3 people check out while I waited. Finally at 1:40 I got called back. I got my X-rays done and the lady that did them was very sweet and did a great job. By 1:50 she took me to my room for the appointment. She said to me “ it will be just a few minutes and someone will be with you” I said ok that’s fine. I was already a little frustrated that it was 1:50 and I hadn’t been seen by the dentist. But I was polite and waited…. And waited… and waited. Not one person came to check in on me, not one person said “hey the dentist is running behind on another treatment”, not on person said anything to me. Finally at 2:40 I got up and went to the receptionist desks which was unoccupied. There were 4 people in the waiting room by now. I went and found some help. I told the lady I could not wait any longer as it was 2:40, my appointment was at 1 and I had YET to see the dentist. I had to go pick up my son from the sitter and go get my daughter from school. The office manager apologized for the trouble. She said she would speak to the dentist and call me by COB that day. Well it’s now 9/25 and I haven’t heard back from them. I needed to get established to see a periodontist, but, I guess I’ll have to go somewhere else. I would not recommend this place, unless you have plenty of time to wait.

The dental assistant was very friendly as was the dental hygienist. I appreciate how she asked me if I knew about the number system for my gums before she explained it to me saving me from having to listen to information I already knew. The hygienist explained to me why plaque was growing in certain ways in my mouth. I learned something new. If it hadnt been for them I would likely be looking for another dentist.The dentist I saw (I think he owns the practice) was very gentle and I am glad I switched as the other dentist that I interacted with didnt tell me anything she was doing in my mouth.One of the people at the front was kind of rude. If you are asking for my signature I am allowed to ask why. I also dont like that I have to create another username and password for the dentist. They said make it easy to remember, but realistically that wont happen I will only use this twice a year so am very unlikely to remember in-between visits.

Had all four my wisdom teeth extracted by the oral surgeon Dr. Douglas. One word amazing! staff was very professional. The lady over billing and payments is kind and very informative. My Pre-op nurse He took his time explained every little detail. He addressed all of my questions and concerns. Dr. Douglas is very honest, reassuring and amazing at what he does. If I could I would give 10 stars.

I drive 2.5 hours to see Jami! She always doubles checks herself and takes great care of me! Dr. Keller is so gentle! I will always drive to see this office! Patient for life!

My first time going here with my daughter. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I got to hear a little bit about everyone’s family I came into contact about. Front desk ladies were awesome! The X-ray tech!Jami who was working on me! These next two gals Tarvaruse Carter and Kerri Keller get the biggest kudos of the day. My daughter has had some bad experiences with dentists and I watched in the room next to me them getting her numb. The amount of patience and encouragement they gave was the sweetest! And she was able to get the task done for the day. Thank you for spending that extra time with my daughter. I think you guys really helped to start turning past negative experiences into positive new one! Thank you all!

Just moved to the area and needed a dentist. They staff here is so nice they make sure you feel very comfortable. Dr. Huang is wonderful. And is great at his job. Ashlyn does an excellent job of explaining what is going on. Everyone in the office a very kind and welcoming.

This place is so friendly and so kind! I had 4 wisdom teeth removed today and I was super nervous, my heart rate was high but the whole crew talked to me and helped calm me down. They are all very nice and did an incredible job! Would definitely recommend

Ive been seeing these guys for 2 years, and they were amazing!Dr. Wong doesnt over look anything! If something doesnt look right, he makes a notation and keeps an eye on it!Tavaris always did an amazing job on cleaning my teeth, and working around my braces when I had them for 2 years!

Dr. Huang is the best Dentist Ive had and Im almost 40yrs. He knows what hes talking about, listens attentively, and is accommodating. I had a mortifying experience during a root canal almost 10 years ago. The thought of it still gives me anxiety today. Dr. Huang and Heidi offered calming encouragement and great reviews about the Endodontist and the procedure. I was still skeptical and nervous and ready to consider an extraction because staff is supposed to be nice and positive as part of their job. Nothing beats word of mouth from personal experience. I requested sedation (which isnt offered) and my leg was visibly trembling, but the Endodontist took her time and explained everything before taking any actions... even for the numbing which my comfort level was checked before and after. I FELT NOTHING!!!! I stayed awake the whole time and couldnt believe that everything went smoothly... even the after care. Im soooo super grateful that Im a patient here!

Do NOT use this company if you have children under 7, since they DO NOT accept patients under that age. I booked an appointment for my 6 year old son, only to have it canceled without my knowledge a month later - even after confirming the appt with me. When we went for the actual appt, we were told they do not see patients UNDER 7. THEN WHY DID THEY MAKE MY SON AN APPT???? Their website says Dental for ALL....well that is a lie. Dental for 7 and older ONLY. I will take my business elsewhere.

I don’t like going to dental offices but Killeen Modern Dentistry has changed my mind. I love seeing Dr. Hwang and Jamie. They really take the time to take care of me. My mouth has never felt so healthy!

I went to them on a Saturday because I was in ALOT of pain and they took my dental insurance. After a brief exam the Dr recommended I have 3 teeth pulled, gave me some ibuprofen and referred me to her oral surgeon. Offering me no assistance to get in hastily I found a dentist in Cameron where I live and he took my insurance, saw me immediately on Monday. He only had to pull 1 tooth and fill a cavity in another. So glad i was able to find relief and get an honest 2nd opinion. Al I needed was a little help during this crisis and killeen modern didnt provide it!!!

Killeen Modern Dentistry has to be one of the worst manage establishments this company has ever produced. The manager schedules people, and you end up staying there for hours on hours. Everything with them is pressure. My wife stated that the front desk is very unprofessional; and that she can hear them time and time again laughing and having a good time while patients wait and wait in the back to be serviced. I told her to say something to the manager, but my wife said the manager is very clueless or has a dont care attitude.On the other hand, my wife was delighted with the doctors once they got to her. She said they are very professional, but they obviously have a scheduling problem. They seem to overbook patients and then try to play catch up. If there were a way to give them zero stars, I would. I was very dissatisfied; my wife was treated like this.

Ms. Carter was great with helping explain every step that was going to happen. The whole staff was kind and friendly.

This place was great until recently. Heidi was rude and still has not gotten back to me on my plan.! The dental was great, Dr. Keller but the poor service from thr front ruins the whole vibe.

I had some teeth pulled here and the dentist did an excellent job but what I didn’t like HEDI BILLED MY INS WHICH COVERED THE SURGERY AND SHE CHARGED ME 500 THAT I DIDNT HAVE TO PAY BECAUSE OF MY INS....so I look at this place as a theft scheme stealing from the patients and fraudulent billing ins SMH

Dr. Vaughn was very professional and friendly. My three year old and I both were seen by her and her team. They all made my daughter feel comfortable, and my cleaning was amazing! The receptionists were also friendly and had us checked into our appointments in a timely manner. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a dentist in the Killeen area.

Terrible place to go! Went there for severe tooth pain I was in. They did my xrays and all that good stuff. They told me I needed a root canal but they were just gonna clean out my cavity. They could not numb me up at all, it got to the point where the dental hygienist asked if I could just take the pain, were almost done very unprofessional! I could feel every little thing they were doing to my tooth. Decided to finish my root canal at another dentist. Killeen modern dentistry left me in much more pain than I had to begin with and then charging me $900 for it. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE MONEY WITH AN UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF!!

The front desk is so nice! Bria is amazing and my consult with Dr. Lago was great as well.I’m very nervous about getting my wisdom teeth out but they do everything they can to put you at ease and they’re very detailed.

The dentist is my most favorite doctor to see. We have seen Modern Dentistry three times (benefit of the doubt - and I am chronically optimistic). All three visits were terrible. I took the first appointment of the day, and the dentist was 1.5 hours late (an accident) - THEN took 3 hours in total see my two kids (xrays, cleaning for both). I got bills after and had to rectify with my insurance. Just one thing after another. Staff isnt great. Couldnt figure out how to x-ray my childs tiny mouth, so they just didnt. I get mad every time I go back in. No more. I do NOT recommend them. At. All.

All the ladies in the office are amazing. I recommend this dental office highly.

So i go to the one in Cedar Park since i work out in Austin but had to schedule here due to working from home; an the locations are night an day. They are friendly on the phone but the customer attention is at the Killeen location isnt as prompt and up to par as the one in Cedar. I had to reschedule my root canal for another day already once an a few days prior to the new appointment they called wanting to know if i could come in earlier. I couldnt due to i got off at a certain time and thats why i made my appointment so late in the day. Then the day of, they call me like an hour before stating the Dr. had to go home due to food poisoning. My appointment was for 6.22(Monday) and i was told that she would give me a call back to see if she could get me in at a later sometime later this week. It is now Thursday an no phone call in regards of my much needed root canal. I also couldnt do a cap at this location due to my home location is in cedar........not really happy an feel their customer service is lacking

I made a last minute appointment here, every single person I talked to was very pleasant. The whole staff was cheerful and helpful. They were fast and informative. I recommended so many people already. I had a wonderful experience.

I went there about nine months ago and had about 2K worth of work on what it was going to be about 7K to totally fix my teeth. The Dentist failed to fix a cavity in one that he prepped and he was going to crown and now it broke off too. I cant prove this was intentional but I have a strong suspicion. These people are nickel and dimers. They get you in the door and want to do a little bit here and there so it seems less obvious that you are being taken for a ride. Today they told me it was going to be 37K to totally fix my teeth today. Nine months ago it was 7K. I wouldnt recommend this place at all. None of the Staff was the same today so they have lots of turnover. That tells me a lot.

I would not recommend this Dentist. I went there for a Root canal back in March 2019. The price was very high, and they were also trying to charge me for a Deep cleaning which i did not needed. anyways i got it done, and i was suppose to go back in two weeks for a crown. I was unable to go back, because of work reasons. In may of this year the filling they placed in my mouth started coming out I could feel a hole in my tooth, and my tooth began to hurt. Instead of going back there I actually seek advice from several other dentist and they informed me that KILLEEN MODERN DENTISTRY did a sloppy job on my tooth with the root canal. They said that the filling should have lasted longer and that I shouldnt have been feeling pain since I recently did a root canal. Of those several dentists, they also told me I did not need a deep cleaning. All i needed was a regular cleaning. All i can say is be aware of this Dentist.

I was very reluctant to visit this location because of the recent bad reviews. But I was overall impressed with a lot - especially the receptionist who helped me and figured out the craziness of my insurance. (Thanks Jennifer!)I used to go the location in Bastrop before I moved here, but my teeth have been hurting after fillings so i just needed them adjusted. The dentist was very prompt, fixed what was needed, and let me go. I hate waiting around, so I really liked this.The only thing was that my old location told me that if I needed a correction that I could just come in, get it adjusted, and leave without paying anything (since when youre numb, you might not be able to feel something poking out and hurting you)But this location did charge me an office visit fee which I mostly understand, I just didnt like having to pay to be in there for 10 minutes.All in all, I am glad I didnt get scared away by the reviews. I will be coming back to this location while I live in town!

No this is not my 1st time going to The Dentist but i will say it was the worst. Very Unprofessional Dr. Vaughn was very rude . I went to them for a Gold crown because my primary dentist does not specialize in that evidently they dont either. Instead of them saying that us not a profession just to get money they said the did, when the crown came back it was shorter than my tooth and had a black color inside the opening gave me a temporary tooth for the second time first one did not last for my next visit second one Dr. Vaughn filed it crooked. I refused the crown because it was not what I wanted they still wanted to charge me for lab fees which I feel was their mistake this was a conversation with Terri the Manager I ask for higher up but she refused to give me any information but they charged my insurance. Dr. Vaughn was talking as if I was a child at age 55 felt discrminated. I will be following up with my attorney.

Was greeted by the Dental assistant with a hug and laughter, she did my Xrays even talked out everything she was charging me for and triple checked it was correct. Dr. Tanner came in gave it to me straight forward gave me a script to get me thru til my extraction appt. Which was scheduled with him at my convenience. Just a week wait.... price is reasonable but I have insurance

I called KMD looking for Saturday appointments for my entire family. Baylie at the front was soooo helpful in getting us ALL set up for the same Saturday. When we got here, the check in was seemless. The staff was so friendly and Dr. Tanner was gentle, straight forward, and very nice - even with my 2 year old. I was told what I would be paying for future procedures and scheduled at times that were convenient. Overall, I feel great calling KMD my family’s dental office. We will definitely be back. :)

Was initially impressed with this new office. Suddenly their Cerek crown making machine went down and I need to reschedule my appointment for two weeks further out. So now I have to put up with this rough fake tooth with an awesome divot in it for a whole month. Its more than a little suspicious that the machine suddenly went down the Friday before Christmas. I pre-paid extra for (ie. was sold on...) this highly reliable cerek fired technology. And to top things off, the person I spoke with on the the phone totally killed me with kindness when met with my disgust, ending our call with Have a happy holiday.

Made a appointment one month out and got a call saying had to reschedule because i had started care already with the other doctor which was a lie. I had never been seen for a full oral exam and they still cancelled my appointment.
