I have been coming here since about 1994. One time my insurance changed and U had to go somewhere else. Nothing can compare to Dr Jon VanSlate and the staff. I moved to North Carolina. I flew in and had my teeth cleaned. No one else will touch my teeth. They are the best!!! Love this DDS.

Dr Van Slate is an excellent dentist. Just had my first appointment today and it was refreshing to hear that my teeth are in great shape. (Ive had dentists in the past who like to crown everything.)Dr Van Slate is extremely thorough, and I found his equipment to be state-of-the-art. He ran tests that I have never had before.He spent almost a full hour with me today (not just assistant) and he gave me excellent feedback. He took his time asking questions about my dental health.Also, his staff is extremely friendly and welcoming.I would recommend anyone to Dr. Van Slate.

The Hygienist, Kristin is the best Hygienist I have ever had!She is gentle with the instruments, and sweet in her delivery of the post care message. I’m a new client and I had a great experience at my appointment. Dr. Jon Van Slate and his entire staff were very professional and caring. Dr. Jon Van Slate is a phenomenal dentist. I didn’t feel any pain while he worked on my mouth. He made sure that I was comfortable the entire time. I was referred by a coworker of mines to his office and I plan to do the same in return. Dr. Van Slate is very helpful and professional. First, we were in the area of his office several weeks ago, so we stopped by to make an appointment. He actually took a few minutes to speak to us about our sons problems with his jaw and gave us some free advice. We then scheduled an appointment and came back several weeks later. Dr. Van Slate not only remembered us, but he remembered what our sons problems were, even though we did not even have a file started yet. He gave a very thorough exam and explained our options. Because we were interested in a type of treatment that he did not do, along with jaw joint treatment that he does do, he referred us to another doctor that does the other treatment as well. And then he didnt even charge us for the scan that he did because he knew the other doctor would have to do another one. Dr. Van Slate is kind and knowledgeable. We appreciate his help and if the other doctor cant do what we need done, we will be going back to Dr. Van Slate for the jaw joint therapy.

Dr. VanSlate is not only a consummate professional but is also an incredibly kind and decent human being. I’ve not walked into his office with the smile I want, but I know because of his efforts that I’ll leave with that smile. The staff assisting are all fantastic as well. I actually enjoy going.
