I have been a patient for about 4 or 5 years,. Dr Lubritz was the only dentist that could save a bridge I recently received. There were other periodontists I visited that wanted to remove my new bridge. Because of Dr Lubritz my teeth going strong and have been been healthy ever since the periodontal surgery he performed. Dr. Lubritz is an excellent Periodontist. I have been a patient of his since 1997 when he did a gum graft on one of my teeth to stabilize it. He keeps a good check on my gums and teeth to help prevent the problem area from returning. 19 years later, I still have that tooth in my mouth. I highly recommend him. Dr.Lubritz is by far the nicest, warmest, and best dentist I have ever met. I feel lucky that I was directed to go to him for my periodontal needs. He is not only smart and talented. He also happens to be funny! Years ago, I wanted to get my teeth straightened. For that, I needed braces. But before I could get braces, I was instructed to first seek the help of a periodontist. The first time I went to his office, I hoped that he would be able to help me fix my oral issues because it was the only thing keeping me from getting my braces. My case sounded quite hopeless. That is until he explained his treatment plan thoroughly and helped me set realistic expectations. Years later, I am still going to his office because he has helped me improve my oral health and made it possible for me to get my braces (via a different dentist, of course)! I will be forever thankful to him because of that.

Good and professional evaluation of my gum problems.Had surgery about 2 years ago. The gum recovered well.They have followed up with the regular cleaning and checkups. They are flexible on dates and even took me in on the spot for cleanup when Id entered the wrong date in my calendar and came a week early.

After years of not going to the dentist because I felt my teeth were in decent condition (Still haven’t experienced a cavity) I finally went to a dentist, who told me that my gums were in need of some heavy maintenance. I was pointed in the direction of Dr. Lubritz and I couldn’t be happier with that recommendation. The staff are always kind and professional, and it’s always comforting going into an office where everyone knows what they are doing. Not only do they perform a hell of a teeth cleaning, but they walked me through the steps of preparing for Osseous Surgery ( With bone replacement grafting ).When it finally came time for the surgery for the left top and bottom quadrants of my gums, Dr. Lubritz performed the operation with ease. It was quick, and not as painful as I thought it would be. It helps that he is charming and has many jokes and stories to tell while performing the operation.The gums in half of my mouth have never felt better. It was a firm wakeup call to take better care of my gums and teeth, and I can’t wait to get the other two quadrants all fixed up within the next few weeks. I highly recommend Dr. Lubrtiz and his team of kind professionals.

This was my first experience with a periodontist and I wasnt looking forward to it at all. However, after a little research, I felt I had made a good decision in selecting Dr. Lubritz. No Pain! I find it remarkable that there was absolutely no pain in the surgical procedures I had performed. But even if there had been some discomfort Im sure I would have pretty much laughed it off. I moved to Houston 8 months ago and immediately started having issues with a previous dental implant. I found Dr. Lubritz through reviews on Google, and I am SO HAPPY that I called for an appointment. I ended up needing multiple services, including a deep cleaning and a bone graft for my implant. Ive had many problems with my teeth over the past few years, and Dr. Lubritz provided a 100% accurate assessment of the previous work Ive had done just by reviewing my X-Rays. I felt confident that Dr. Lubritz would be a great Periodontist, and he and his staff did an excellent job on my bone graft (and who can say having a bone graft is an excellent experience?) Dr. Lubritz has also provided several recommendations for other general dentists in the area and a great orthodontist that I have already followed up with. Highly recommend for the quality service, friendly faces, and at a minimum go there to listen to a good joke.

When my dentist told me that I really needed gum grafts, I was extremely apprehensive. I couldnt stop thinking about the horrible experience I had in middle school when my wisdom teeth were removed. I chose Dr. Lubritz based purely on his good internet reviews. Unfortunately, he was out of network. But, he went out of his way to work with my insurance company - even when my insurance company was not being particularly cooperative.I had 5 gum grafts completed in my first procedure, and I can honestly say that I really experienced no pain whatsoever. The procedure itself seemed to go by pretty quickly, and the only difficult thing for me was being limited in what I could eat for about a week afterward. Dr. Lubritz said that the roof of my mouth, where he harvested tissue, might feel like a really bad pizza burn as it healed. That was the only physical discomfort I felt, and I would say it was more like a mild to medium pizza burn.I just had my second procedure, which consisted of 6 gum grafts. So far so good. Every time I have met with Dr. Lubritz, he has seemed to be in a good mood, and he has told me plenty of jokes. Some of the jokes were actually pretty funny. His lighthearted demeanor was particularly helpful during my first surgery, because I was so nervous. I would definitely recommend Dr. Lubritz to anyone else who might need gum grafts.

At my regular dentist, the once-a-week periodontist wanted to immediately cut my gums to get rid of the pockets. My friend in the insurance business told me to go to someone good for this work and so I asked around and found Dr. Lubritz. He did a thorough exam and sat down with my wife and I to explain 5 different forward paths, even including the paths he didnt personally believe were the best.I went forward with 2 of the non-surgical paths and we tried those for about 7 months. At the end of that time, the next exam showed that there was improvement, but just not quite enough. I went forward with the surgical path, and in addition to cutting some gum away, Dr. Lubritz also implanted bone chips, which will give me greater than a 90% chance of keeping the teeth. The surgery was performed expertly and I never needed the pain killers after. On the 2nd day after each of the two surgeries, I never knew that there were any issues in my mouth until I went to eat (soft food) those days.Its all done now and healing on schedule. I cant say enough good things about the whole office and their work!

Like most people, I was terrified of the dentist. Until I met Dr. LubrItz and all his staff. From day one I felt comfortable and at ease. His joking ways help you overcome all your fears. Just finished with my treatments after gum surgery. A few months ago, if anyone had told me it was possible to have an awesome dental surgery experience, I would have literally laughed out loud. My time with Dr Lubritz changed that. I had a gum graft procedure ten years ago with a different periodontist and had an absolutely horrible experience. Tremendous pain and bleeding with clots for more than three days framed my experience back then. I was supposed to have two additional procedures but refused because of that experience. Fast forward to this year, where the need for the additional procedures became critical. My primary dentist had actually recommended Dr. Lubritz in 2013, but again because of my past experience, I hesitated. I finally gave in and made an appointment. I have to say Dr. Lubritzs 35+ years shined bright. He has a easy-going demeanor and calming presence that only decades of experience can bring. In no time, he had me laughing and joking instead of dreading what was about to happen. The first procedure couldnt have taken 30 minutes with no real pain other than the slight prick during the anesthetic. I thought to myself, Ok, this was cool, but what about when the local wears off? For the next few hours, I stood at the ready with the pain meds in hand waiting on the rush of pain I felt so many years ago with the other doctor. It never came! I slept like a baby! Actually, I didnt take any of the pain meds because I never experienced any pain. To top the whole experience off, folks from his office called to check on me. Awesome all the way around. I just had the second procedure done, and it was a re-do of the first. Hats off to Dr. Lubritz and his awesome staff!

Dr. Lubritz is the best. I started seeing him around 2000 because I feel at that time I needed a peridontist to maintain my dental health. He was great in recommending me gum surgery and introduced me to self flouride rinsing to help with hot-cold sensitivity. He is very professional, always willing to share his vast dental health knowledge with me. Ive learned a lot on how to take care of my gum and teeth from him over these 15 years. Several years ago, he performed bone implant on one of my teeth to slow the bone loss on the tooth. The tooth is doing great now. The key of good dental health is to prolong the usefulness of our teeth as long as we can. Dr. Lubritz plays a big role in my dental health. I try to see him at least twice a year. Do not be concern about gum surgery and bone implant. I would recommend him with no reservations. Too bad he is not allowed to perform fillings repair as that has to be done by a general dentist by law.
