I have been to Omega Dental twice and I have been greeted with a smile and addressed by my name. That goes a long way. Dr. Watkins and Angie are amazing. Very easy to talk to and both made me feel comfortable and at ease. I like that they have many specialists on staff as well. I believe I have found my new dentist.

For me getting my dental cleaning done has always been a hassle. The customer receptionist lady, that I talked to on the phone made setting up an appointment very easy. When the time came for the cleaning it was pretty much in and out. I didnt have to wait long and the people were nice. I would reccomend this dentistry.

Just want to confirm other reviews about the finance woman is true. She is indeed a terrible human being. I have a wisdom tooth growing in a tricky direction and instead of having a dentist explain to me about the situation, the treatment plan, my options, and the risks associated with the choices, they let me talk to this woman. It was an extremely uncomfortable conversation with this woman. The whole time, she tried to get me to pay upfront around $6000 and she kept repeating on bad infections or stuff like that even though Im not very sure how much education she has. She wanted me to pay upfront when I told her I want to talk to the dentist/surgeon first. She couldnt be quick enough to offer me a payment plan when I showed my hesitation. Im glad that I walked away and got a second opinion from a real surgeon who works exclusively on wisdom teeth. It turned out the situation is not that bad and there is zero infection, even better, the price is a fraction of whatever they want to charge me here. Others mention about them putting the price on the website. Dont let that fool you.

The place looks clean and professional and the patients in the waiting area looked like people who would go somewhere decent. But I never got past first base. They kept my ID and insurance for 20 minutes, then tried and failed to text me a form to fill out, then gave me an iPad with the form on it. The form would have taken ages to complete. Every page of the 15 or so pages started with the same basic contact information available on the cards they kept for 20 minutes for no purpose evidently. Unless the system is designed to drive away patients they don’t want for whatever reason the system is really stupid. Wasted time there and will take my broken filling elsewhere.

I would honestly give this place ZERO stars if I could. I should have taken the previous reviews more seriously before deciding to come here for my wisdom tooth extraction. Let me start by saying Omega Dental Specialists do not care about their patients and that taking your money is their only priority. On the day of my procedure I was taken back to a private room by a very friendly staff member who prepared me for the surgery. Once the surgeon entered the room, he barely said 2 words to me before sticking me with a needle to put me asleep. He did not introduce himself nor did he explain anything he was doing (very rude and unprofessional in my opinion. Good thing I am an RN and knew what was going on). A couple days after the procedure I was in an excruciating amount of pain and the medications I was prescribed were not doing the trick so I called the office (at 9am) to see if they could prescribe anything else. They told me that the surgeon wasnt available at this time and would return my call. 4 hours later they call me back just to tell me unfortunately we cant give you anything and that you just have to deal with the pain. You would think the surgeon would be more attentive to his patients that he just performed a major surgery on.Next is the cost. The amount of money they charged me for this procedure is OUTRAGEOUS (even with my insurance coverage). I didnt realize at the time just how expensive it was until after it was all said and done. Fast forward a month, a receive a bill in the mail for an additional $600 that I supposedly owe them. I knew this couldnt be right so I contacted my insurance company and they in fact told me this was incorrect and said I was being overcharged. I was sent the EOB from my insurance company breaking down the charges and contacted Omega Dental to get things straightened out. When on the phone with a man at Omega ( I wish I could remember his name), we were both looking at the EOB from my date of service and he proceeded to tell me that I owed money and that the insurance company does not decide how money I owe (which is an incorrect statement). Luckily I have experience in medical billing and dealing with insurance and knew what I was talking about and did not just agree with what he was trying to tell me. Once he realized this he very rudely hung up on me in the middle of conversation.I cannot even fully explain my displeasure with Omega Dental and would highly NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone.SAVE YOUR MONEY and just go somewhere else.Side note: I am not one to ever write reviews and this is the first negative one I have written. Just to put in perspective how terrible this place is.

Came here twice for dental cleanings and they really need to invest in better hygienists. I did not have time to properly rinse and kept getting water on myself. She kept pausing to check her appointments and kept getting interrupted by staff. Dental cleaning was very quick and felt incomplete.There is a lack of structure and professionalism.

Sketch finance lady really turned me off from working with Omega, I’m sure they do good work but she seems like she belongs at a car dealership selling cars, and needs to learn boundaries when it comes to other people’s husbands/boyfriends. Would recommend avoiding her advice at this facility and her overall.

Went here for Invisalign over the last 2 years. Firstly the positives - are my teeth straight? Yes. Is the facility clean & nice? Yes. Any issues with my treatment? No. Is the customer experience good? Hard no.Feels like a transactional money making machine. No one knows your name, the sketchy finance lady is real, my orthodontist left Omega partway through my treatment and no one notified me. I was assigned a new ortho and it felt like they couldn’t wait to get me off the books.I would not recommend nor would I come back. And their prices are comparatively high - I falsely thought this meant I’d get a better experience/service. Shop around if you’re looking for Invisalign with a good experience folks.

I’ve been to Omega Dental twice, first time was for a root canal and they did an amazing job! I was basically pain free and the specialist explained the process to me very clearly and kept me calm throughout the procedure. The second time I needed to get a crown and a couple of fillings, once again the staff was excellent in explaining what I needed and was there to keep me calm throughout the procedure. This is coming from someone who hates the dentist, I recommend them 100%

I drove 30 minutes to my appointment, was definitely on time & they refused service because I gave them a $50 dollar bill for a $20 dollar consultation. I was not made aware that I had to bring exact change. I watched 5 people that I came in the back before being called before me. THIS WAS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME, ENERGY & GAS. Why refuse a consultation for $20 when one tooth could possibly run a person $1000. This is very ignorant ! I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau as well. It is not my job to provide change for your business. I’m sure out of a whole dental building someone had change floor a $50. Bad Business ! THANKS FOR NOTHING !

This place is very professional and up kept, there is no doubt about that. The workers are great and so nice! But I have to say it seems to be overpriced... luckily I have insurance, but I was still left with a out of pocket bill of over $1000. To get 3 wisdom teeth extracted, they are charging me $300 a tooth. When I discussed these prices with my family who have all had the same procedure done back in MA, I was told that they got theirs done for less than $150 a tooth. Maybe it’s because we are in a different state, but either way, check your options, especially if you do not have insurance. Other than that, facility is gorgeous and workers are so nice and helpful! I have a feeling that their prices pay for the building...

What makes me recommend Omega Dental is that they dont waste your time and are very efficient and transparent. Quick tip: schedule your appointment for Tuesday or Wednesday. The weekends are very busy there. I had a root canal retreatment and a crown put on. It took a few visits to get the crown color right and they were on my side every visit to make sure it looked good. They wanted their work to look good. They might be 10-15% more expensive than places outside of the Loop but the cost is worth it for their professionalism and honesty. I have already recommended my family go here and will be moving all my dental work to them.

I had a terrible experience here due to the sketchy financial lady that you see mentioned in a lot of these reviews.I went in with lots of pain in my lower right wisdom teeth. The gums surrounding it were very tender and infecter. The dentist there took a lool and told me I needed the tooth pulled along with the matching top tooth. Cool.He walks me over to the Sketchy Finance Lady and my boyfriend and I sit down with her there in the conference room. The entire process seemed rushed, and more like I was buying car than getting dental work. We talk over the prices and everything. She also tried to talk me into getting all four pulled because your other side will become infected eventually, but I declined. I just wanted the two that I needed pulled.So, Im scheduled to have my teeth pulled the next day. I opted for the IV sedation since I didnt want to feel ANYTHING. She tells me, and I quote, Due to the IV, you cannot EAT or DRINK anything 10 hours before the surgery. We asked Not even water? She responded, Not even water.Got it. So, I show up to the appointment, and the surgeon cannot set the IV because my veins are damned near invisible. He tries twice in each arm. He tells me Your veins are extremely flat as if youre dehydrated. I told him that I was told not to drink any water. Apparently, according to the surgeon, the protocol is for the patient to drink PLENTY of water before the procedure. Also, I was apparently supposed to have a consultation with him prior to the procedure. The Sketchu Finance Lady skipped the consultation and gave me terrible information.Since he couldnt set the IV, he tried an oral sedative, that did not work. So, I had to get my teeth pulled the hard way. The injections into my gums were one of the most painful things Ive ever experienced.However, the oral surgeon was great and so was his nurse. They were caring and apologetic and did try to make me as comfortable as possible. He even pushed back the procedure 45 min to give the oral sedatives time to kick in. Additionally, he assured me Id be refunded for the IV sedative cost ($800).The Sketchy Finance Lady on the other hand is a terrible excuse for a human being, incompetent and should be without a job.If it werent for her, this would be a 5 star rating. The oral surgeon was great, the nurse was sweet, and their front desk ladies followed up on their promise of a refund.

The people with their sister clinic are not in sync! They made me come back for a procedure from their other clinic and when I arrived they told me I cannot do the procedure! And I realized they are trying to bill me for a procedure that I already paid for as they said they tried to call my insurance… that is the reason why I paid early for that procedure…

My family and I have been going to Omega for a few years now. The office is very well kept up with and quite, I dont like going to offices where there is so much going on and very loud. At Omega the front desk girls are very friendly & helpful with anything that is needed, they are always smiling =)Drs & assistants are friendly as well and a big plus with assistants being bilingual, this has helped my husband better understand his dental treatment in Spanish. My family and I always refer family members and friends to Omega.

Best optometrist ever! Wait time wasn’t too long and they placed my braces on right after my consultation! If your insurance doesn’t cover the costs, they work with you as they have multiple payment plans to choose from. It’s also a nice setting for an optometrist, very luxurious 🤓

I live in Louisiana and I have lots of downtime. I looked this place up to get my root canals. Read several great reviews and I gave them a try. I can now see why they have many many positive reviews. They provided amazing service at my very first appointment. I do not plan to return to my home dentist, I prefer to drive to see these awesome doctors. I was seen by Dr. Ali and Dr. Bohluli(spell check) but I have no complaints with either. Dr. Evan is thorough, matter-of-fact, and friendly. He tells you exactly what is going on with your tooth problems and doesn’t pressure you into procedures that can wait. He does excellent work...He’s crowned 6 of my teeth and I’ve never had a problem with any.

My bad review is solely against Dr. Firras and not omega dental as a company.I visited Dr Rahman in March 2021 for pain related to a wisdom tooth that never ruptured. He went over the xrays taken and saw that the tooth was growing sideways.I am a type one diabetic and informed him that my sugars had been very high. He said he would need surgical clearance because he did not want it to get infected and send me to the ER.I visited my endocrinologist and he helped me fix my insulin doses. We got my sugars below 250 in april. they averaged 150-180 for 2 weeks. My endocrinologist sent them medical clearance.I went back to Dr. Firras on may 17 to get the tooth removed. But informed him that on may 13 my sugars had suddenly spiked and I believed it was because my tooth had become infected. the gum felt hot and swollen. He had prescribed amoxicillin for me when i first saw him in march so i began taking it on may 13. My sugars are gradually lowering.I checked myself while he watched and it was in the 500s.I told him my sugars were fine before thursday the 13th and that it must be related to the tooth probably being infected.He laughed and said that an infection wasnt a cause of my high blood sugar.i told him ive had infections before and they always cause my sugars to spike. and that insulin barely helps until the infection is gone.I asked if he could remove the tooth today or if i needed to get it under control with antibiotics first.He told me that my blood sugar being elevated caused the infection (not the tooth growing sideways and ripping my gum apart).I tried to tell him that ive experienced high sugar related to infection before but he just kept telling me that they were unrelated. He told me to see my endocrinolgist again and to get an A1c check.whether the A1c is high or normal will not matter. If it was normal it wouldnt matter because my current levels are too high. And he can not do the surgery when I am in DKA because it could land me in the hospital.I expected the surgery to not be done today, but did expect him to help me or refer me somewhere for a treatment plan to treat the infection without removal so that i could get it removed later after the infection.Im worried that he does not understand the concept of infection raising blood sugar levels. I believe this could have harmed me and future diabetic patients.I received my money back to take somewhere else and have an appointment this week to see my endocrinologist.

I consulted with Dr. Khan. He was informative and professional. The consult was thorough. Ive mainly had my follow ups with Dr. H. and he was really fantastic, fast, nice and helpful. They both answered all my questions well. I am nearing the end of my Invisalign treatment, they straightened my teeth and fixed my bite. Their dental assistants were great as well as the admin staff. The admin staff worked well with me.

Will never be going here again. The staff is super sweet but the doctor was super rude to me did not have a good experience. Now im finding out my insurance didnt cover anything because the office didnt verify the insurance before my procedure now im stuck paying a bill I dont have money for.

I just finished having my 6 implants installed and I am utterly and completely astonished at the beautiful outcome. I researched the heck out of all of the aspects of my procedure, so I am confident that the level of expertise and professionalism I received was performed above and beyond the industry standards.Dr. Evan and his assistant Mirna finished everything up yesterday, but there were so many other people that made my experience awesome. From the dental specialists who were able to take care of my other dental needs, the extremely friendly and helpful front of the house staff, Melissa who made the financing and treatment plan miraculously possible, to the back of the house medical staff team who were extremely professional with their excellent bedside manners.I also had a few cavities filled and a crown placed, along with professional teeth whitening. I love to laugh and smile, eat raw veggies, nuts, and other foods that require the ability to chew them. Now I can do so with confidence. It is truly life-changing for me!I went with the implants instead of dentures because I did not want any more bone deterioration of my upper and lower jaw due to the lack of stimulation from not having intact teeth. My face had started to sag because of this. Also, I felt that my overall health would benefit with the ability to consume healthier foods. Also,any oral inflammation would be eliminated so that it would not be a contributing factor in the health of my heart, blood vessels, joints, and numerous other body structures. I also will have less issues with TMJ, headaches, neck and upper back pain because my jaw is now aligned properly.I have been in the medical field for close to 30 years as a Physicians Assistant and Medical Researcher so I can attest to the medical acumen of the Omega Dental Professionals team as a whole.I am truly grateful to have had this opportunity to change my life .
