Love Dr.Griffith, she really was like a mama dentist you’ve never had. Very motivated to always get the best results even when I was begging to get my braces off. Definitely would recommend anyone to her. She shows tough love, but you won’t be disappointed.

I started going to Ivory Dental because it’s in my community. If I can I will choose small businesses and even the big multinational businesses in my community first. I believe in supporting your community first. However, every time I’ve gone here I never got seen on time or at the time specified. There was even a time I waited almost an hour before I was seen. Still, I gave this place the benefit of the doubt since I know people and businesses are dealing with the unfortunate issues of today. The final disappointment that ultimately lead to me taking my dollar somewhere else happened twice. I was scheduled for braces for which I shifted my entire schedule around getting them on a specific date twice. Ivory dental canceled twice and said that they had to reschedule. I was bummed out about it and fairly upset. Here’s the kicker, I got the message through a text. No follow up call to apologize and see how something can be worked out. I tried to call as soon as I could that same day no less. No one was there to answer the phone. I live close so I even drove over and no one was around. I totally understand things happen and maybe I would have stayed if I felt Ivory Dental valued me. After the first reschedule, I actually scheduled with different orthodontist on the “NorthSide”. Which I actually canceled after the first reschedule and because I got the second date which was sooner. Unlike at Ivory, at Windy City Orthodontics not only did I feel valued as a customer but my time was also equally valued. It started on time the people were super kind and their technology is wow next level. They have this 3D scanner to scan your teeth in real time. A state-of-the-art X-ray machine that don’t use those uncomfortable bite wings to take X-Rays. You just sit in a seat and a machine scans around you. The people at Windy City Orthodontist really went the extra mile to explain my treatment plan in detail. They ordered custom braces which take some time to manufacture and I’m cool with-as they’re apparently smaller and designed specifically for my teeth. The folks over at Windy City Orthodontics showed me with the scans and images of my teeth present what the doctor liked, what’s going to happen and why. I wish I could have gotten service like that in my neighborhood at Ivory. The staff there seem like nice people. I’m saddened that I had to travel up north as they say to get better care. I hope they read this and improve. Because places like Windy City Orthodontics are the competition and they are ready willing and prepared to take this $7000 I just gave them.

My son got his top braces in June and his bottom braces mid July... 2 days after his top braces were put on we had to go in because they didn’t clip the wires properly and it was tearing the inside of his mouth, cheek, and gums up. A few days later, a bracket popped. The same day he got his bottom braces on, within 10 minutes of being home- he yawned and a bracket popped off. He had a third bracket pop off in his sleep about two weeks ago and I left multiple messages with no response for over a week before I finally got an appointment for this week. Tuesday of this week he got the third bracket replaced only for another to pop off today (Friday) when he was walking to school. I paid all financial responsibility up front because their online payment portal doesn’t actually work and I don’t have the time or patience to write a check every month, and I truly feel scammed from their shoddy work, wishing I hadn’t paid in full so I could go elsewhere. It’s been less than 3 months!!!! And he’s already had 4 brackets pop off. Seriously, go anywhere else with your money, this place is a nightmare! Several thousands of dollars for shoddy work. He’s watched his diet to stay away from bad-for-braces food, has a nice electric toothbrush and waterpik, taking proper care, yet we can’t go a few weeks without the shoddy work being apparent and causing issues.

I had set up my first scheduled appointment and confirmed by their text message system for 9am May 28. There was no one at the 47th office and attempting to call Dr. Rhodes resulted in a non-existent phone line for the number given. I also attempted to call the other location on South Halsted, again no one picked up. I scheduled this months in advanced since no appointment times were available and am really bothered that this kind of experience happens at a dentist office. You have no staff in your office for a scheduled appointment?

I love my teeth! They’re perfect and I get so many compliments. Dr. Griffin did a great job. A little frustrating when the process takes a little longer but worth it.

Since my consult all the way through me getting my braces and retainer. Dr. Griffin and her staff at all her locations have been nothing but amazing and with the service and care they give. Ive recommended serval people and they all love her and the care given. Highly recommend for those who might be interested. You wont be disappointed 🥰

A waste of time. I went here and all they did were the x-rays. After the x-rays they sent me back to the front to tell me I need to schedule for a deep cleaning. I have never been to a dentist where they dont do the cleaning the same day. My first and last visit!

From the greating at the front desk to the completion of my procedure, the staff at Ivory Dental are amazing. Dr Nichole Houston replaced 2 fillings with NO PAIN! You will not be disappointed with this practice.

Wonderful service, everyone is courteous & nice. Dr. Rhodes was excellent with replacing my Bridge of 20+ yrs explaining & quickly solving bumps along the way. And she’s funny as heck (THE REAL 😂) making my visit easy & laid back. I highly recommend Ivory Dental & commend them on their work. Definitely Satisfied.

I hate going to the dentist! For every reason up under the sun! From the rude receptionist, to the dentist that hurt you! that dentist that wants to change you a arm and leg to pull all your teeth out rather then explain to you on how to better take of the teeth that you have. Long story short....I absolutely LOVE Ivory Dentist Specialist!!!! I’m in and out! They on time. They don’t over book you and the receptionist are very nice and professional. The dentist Dr. Rhodes is so sweet and gentle and very informative. She has gotten my mouth prepared to see the orthodontist Dr. Griffin. She is also sweet and very informative. I can’t wait to get my braces put on so that I can have a beautiful smile like all her other patients. I love the whole staff. All dentist should be this way.

So I am sitting at the denist. my appointment was at 1pm and I arrived at 12:47pm to meet my mom. My mom checked me in and no one has spoken to us since, or taken me back. I dont normally write reviews about places but since I have been sitting here so long I cant help but to notice the sign on the denist office door that reads: “Review Us on Google” so I did just that because I have nothing but wasted time.This also isnt my first time experiencing this. The last time I was here was September and I waited over an hour for my 8:30am appointment, I had class that day and work not only did I miss class I also was late for work. I told them and explained I needed to be seen, 30-40 more minutes goes by before I was seen, I ended up calling off from work because by the time I got to the back I still was not attended to, on top of that they told me they couldnt do the procedure because it was too late in the day, I insisted on it because I had waited several hours at that point.Today, I have been here for an hour its now 1:57pm and people who arrived later than me are being called which is exactly what happened last time I was here. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt but its happening again and its not just me waiting the kind lady across from me has also been waiting with no communication from staff for as long as I have been here and people have gone before us both.This is disappointing considering I want to support this establishment but it becomes increasingly hard to when you spend enormous amounts on dental care here just to get treated like you dont exist. Anyways I am going to finish my episode of Law & Order SVU : )

I appreciate the awesome service that was provided at Ivory Dental Specialist! It shows in heir everyday actions with patients how knowledgeable they are in their field of work. They get you in and out but will take the time to make sure everything going according to plan or fix any of your mishaps. I definitely felt like I was working with family and will recommend Ivory Dental Specialist to anyone looking for great orthodontic work!

I don’t recommend this place if you looking for a first time job to be a dental assistant. They rude and get irritated when you make a mistake considering this my first job in a dental office and I have no experience. Nick is very good with teaching things. But the Dr. have a attitude problem, & the pay is to low & you have to do to much for them to be paying minimum wage in a pandemic

I love this dental office, my daughter has been going there for a few years and it’s always been great service. The wait time for her to be called back for her appointment is usually very short or there’s no wait time at all. I would definitely recommend this location

It would be very helpful if you guys change the hours that’s listed on google because it’s not the times that the office states.... I always call to pay for my braces and there is NEVER any answers and it causes me to fall behind on my payments and that’s not what I want to happen. It’s frustrating too when I go to the place and it’s CLOSED when I see on the website it says “OPEN”

Hours are listed as 1:30-5PM but we arrives at 4PM and the office was CLOSED! Also, theres sub par professionalism regarding scheduling. My Son was scheduled to have an extraction done and due to the negligence of the Ivory Dental Specialists claiming they never recd his referral, his appointment had to be rescheduled. The coordination between offices should be certain and the patient SHOULD NOT have to run around to gather documents that the dental office is being paid to obtain!

Nothing short of amazing, from Dr Griffin to the assistants, to the support staff! Dr Griffin and staff has made my daughter and family feel very comfortable during the orthodontic and general dentistry process! See you in 6 months!

I absolutely Love Dr. Griffin and Monica Pringle. Ivory Dental is more than just an orthodontic office. The staff there genuinely cares about your treatment and they genuinely care about you. They are extremely supportive and keep you up to date on the progress of your treatment plan. The office is beautifully decorated, clean, and very comfortable. I highly recommend Ivory Dental Specialist.

The staff was very professional they run on time and he always give you best quality service. Had a tooth pulled yesterday and the doctor was very gentle very patient with me and try to make it as painless as possible if I can give 10 Stars I would. Looking forward to go back again. I never thought I would say that about the dentist but this was a very good experience. Will definitely refer all my family and friends to go here.

Great experience here with my children. The dentist and dental assistants were very nice and patient. The dentist stopped my youngest daughter from crying because she was scared and made her laugh instead. Never have I ever witnessed this. I was amazed. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I came in with An appointment at 10:30, when I initially set up the appointment I explained to the receptionist everything I needed to get done they ensured me they would be able to extract the teeth I needed removed. Once I got to the office at 10:15 I filled out the paperwork, and waited to be seen. The doctor did not once come in to my room, until after 12pm after sitting and waiting in the examine room for nearly two hours to tell me that he couldn’t do my procedure because him and his staff had to go on lunch!! Very unprofessional, not once did the doctor apologize about having me waiting for such a long period of time to be turned away! I won’t be returning or recommending them to anyone else!****Update:After writing previous review, I felt it was necessary to write this one as well. I want to thank the team at Ivory dental for reaching out to me after I voiced my concerns. Someone called me within the hour to reconcile the issues and concerns I faced at my visit! I understand that one particular day isn’t representative of the dental office as a whole, and it really meant a lot that someone called and to just listen, and apologize to me for the inconvenience, and as a customer I couldn’t ask for much more. Thank you again, Ivory Dental for making me feel like a valued customer. That for me really means a lot, much more than my previous visit!

Bonnie, the orthodontist, was recommended by my endodontist last year. I did a consultation and was made to feel very comfortable with the process. I decided to go forward with getting my braces done here and have been very happy with everything. The staff is very friendly and I have recommended Bonnie to two friends already and its only been a few weeks. If you are considering this place, go in for a consultation and see for yourself.

My experience here was great. My teeth look beautiful.

This is the second time Ive left this place feeling pissed off. I literally just got out of my chair and left. I was here for a simple cleaning. Thats it. My appointment was for 11am today. First I was taken to a room about 20 minutes AFTER my initial appointment time. Than I was moved to a different room. After another 40 minutes, and NO doctor at all, I left. I have to be at work now. This places has the most ghetto dentist assistants. All they do is talk about where to get their nails done, and the doctors they dont like, while ignoring the patients. If I could give them a negative 5 stars I would.

I attempted to support this establishment because it was in my community.They, until today have always been late. NEVER are personable. My daughter made this clear after she had issue with their service in December when after waiting for hours she walked out the office with he mouth numb and no service. They fodnt call nor apologized.I only went back today because I had a two part cleaning and did not want to start over with another dentist .They have never confirmed an appointment with me until yesterday and that is after my daughter complained on our last visit with robust.The doctor never asked if I was comfortable, asked me any questions and I felt like health insurance NOT a person.I strongly recommend no one support the community in thos aspect
