The experience with Windy City Ortho was wonderful. The appointment was for my 12-year-old son. We had no idea what to expect on our first visit. My son was so nervous for days leading up to the visit.When we arrived the front desk intake staff was welcoming, sweet, and very professional. We first met with Angelica, who took all of the images, scans, and X-rays. She was amazing and instantly connected with my son easing his mind. She’s so personable and you forget that you’re there for something scary (said by my son).Next we met with Joel who ran through a short questionnaire to prepare Dr. J. Both Joel and Dr. J were beyond amazing and walked through the process and timeline of what my son would need done. He left feeling less worried and anxious (also his words).We couldn’t imagine having had this process begin with anyone else. We absolutely love Windy City Ortho and everyone there who takes the time to truly provide a wonderful experience! Very grateful! Thank you so much!

The staff at this office are super professional and so fun. Through my experience with braces I felt like I knew very well what I was doing because they explain everything so well. Honestly I’ve heard other people’s experiences at other orthodontist offices and those experiences sound terrible and not fun compared to the one I had here. I looked forward to coming to my appointments and even stayed a little extra time because I knew that I was going to have some great conversations and that we would be able to catch up on all that we did the past month. I am really happy with the care my son gets at Windy City Orthodontics. Everyone is so professional and caring and gives us the time and attention to be partners in the journey of wearing braces. I don’t remember my experience being so painless. Dr P is amazing and very knowledgable. One of the reasons I found him was through a friend whose daughter had some issues and couldn’t get good advice. Dr P was able to give her daughter the answers and the care they needed and her smile is awesome. I have found the same confidence and care with my son. My son doesn’t mind going and thinks Dr P is funny and cool. I am also, impressed with the offices Covid precautions. I feel very safe with all the levels of protection they have put in place to ensure our safety.

I came here on a recommendation from a friend after an oral surgeon our original orthodontist sent us to was concerned about the first doctors directions on what teeth needed to be pulled, et. My daughter has missing adult teeth, a crooked tooth that is still in her gums, etc. etc. We went in for a consultation and Dr. P agreed with the oral surgeon that they could save some of the teeth the other doctor wanted pulled.Long story short, the best orthodontist ever my daughters teeth are gorgeous and I credit Dr. P and his staff for a successful outcome. Having an older teenager meant last minute scheduling conflicts would come up, the staff has always been very helpful with our need to reschedule or pop in because of a wire poking her, etc. I cant recommend this office enough - as a matter of fact, I do recommend them all the time.

Great Orthodontist! Were wrapping up 2 1/2 years of treatment for one child and will be headed right back for the second.Everyone at the office has been very friendly and helpful. Especially, easing the mind of an anxious pre-teen worried about getting braces. By far the best ortho experience Ive ever had. Incredibly responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable staff and doctor. Every step of the care has been easy - even though all care happened in the middle of a global pandemic and a cross-country move. Ive already recommended Windy City Ortho and Dr. P to a number of friends and will continue doing so until Dr. P retires his business which, hopefully for the sake of crooked toofs everywhere, wont be for a very very long time.

The dentist’s assistant was very kind and put me at ease for my attachments for Invisalign. Doctor P stopped by to say hi. The receptionist caught me before I got out the door to schedule my next appointment. The lobby was set up for social distancing and everyone there seemed to be operating like a (friendly, welcoming) well-oiled machine!

My family loved the entire process and experience at Windy City for braces. My daughter really enjoyed her visits and I found the office so easy to work with. And of course, the results we got from the team was beyond our expectations. The team feels like family while you are in their care.

Would not recommend this place. We went there for the first time today. We waited in the waiting room for over an hour and still did not see the doctor. My son who is 8 was getting really anxious from waiting so long for getting his procedure done. The office is not run well if they are unable to let the patients know if they are running behind. The office manager blamed the front desk for the bad communication and the front desk blamed the office manager.

Everyone at this office has been honestly wonderful, cant recommend them enough. Everyone takes the time to answer all my questions. Forgot something you wanted to ask, and call a staff member over for the *third* time? No problem, theyll make you feel comfortable and answer every last question. Everything is thoroughly explained as well as all the whys behind their instructions. The people handling scheduling are unfailingly friendly and kind, treat you like more than just another faceless patient. I needed dental work done before I could start invisalign, all I had to do with tell them the name of my dentist, and they found the phone #, brought my dentist into the loop, and then when the dentist had to reschedule me, windy city reached out to me on their own to say sorry to hear that, lets get you set up with a new appt. Really, I cant say enough good things about the place and the people, if you need any kind of braces absolutely give them a shot!!

They are amazing, my new smile looks unreal!!Dr. P is wonderful, braces are not easy when you’re an adult but the care of Dr. P, Amanda and ALL the staff makes the process better. If you have doubts, just go and talk to them they will help you and explain all your options. Recommended with my eyes closed, they are the best.

I felt informed, listened to, and valued throughout the entire process. Windy City orthodontics has some of the most incredible service of any tooth related or even medical related facility that I have ever experienced. The people are so kind. The service is so fast. And they truly care about the patient, which is so rare!! I find myself leaving their building with a smile on my face more often than not. Great people. I highly recommend them (even if you live an hour+ away like me)!

First impressions are very important to me. First time going to this location. And I must say, IAM impressed!!I Im one of those spiritual being that within 5min of meeting people or entering a business/place, I know if this will be a great fit for me. From the little sweet gestures at the door,with our names on it. To that humor on the wall. Dont even mention the refreshment station. Last but not least the friendly faces behind that desk. The energy was great, the staff seem upbeat and very professional. Sam did my x-rays. I sat there and just obsessed her, she is incredible. She loves what she does. She explained everything to me to the T., She was very easy outgoing. Dr Pakravan has incredible staff. They take good care of his business. Energy is everything, especially when youre in a healing business. I have found myself an orthodontist!!

This review is a long time coming. We have loved our experience at Windy City orthodontics. We started 2 yrs ago when my son needed an expander and bottom braces for phase 1. We were referred by my sons dentist and I wasn’t too sure about this phase 1 stuff. When I was a kid, you got braces in 7th grade, suffered for a few years and then you are done. But Dr. Pakravan explained everything very clearly and how addressing it early would definitely decrease his overall time in braces. We are very happy with the short amount of time it took and how accommodating the staff is. They are very friendly and always try to get you in as quickly as possible. I highly recommend their office!

So happy I found this place! I had braces over a decade ago and unfortunately my bottom teeth moved a bit so my bottom retainer no longer fit, but luckily the slight crookedness on my bottom teeth isn’t noticeable. Nevertheless I wanted to be sure my teeth wouldn’t move any further and decided it was time for a new retainer. I was concerned an orthodontist would push me into getting Invisalign but Dr. P didn’t do that at all and listened to me when I said I just wanted to keep them where they are. He and the staff were professional, friendly and kind. My new retainer came quickly too!

Last Friday I officially had my braces taken off and it was a really exciting moment after 32 month of treatment!I am so pleased with my experience altogether. The entire staff is awesome; friendly, professional and very efficient, Dr. Darren takes the time to thoroughly explain treatments to his patients, he gets to know us throughout the entire duration.
