Have been coming here for a while and recently had a consult for my wisdom teeth. Mr. Hristova was very patient and understanding of my concerns and explained everything with excellence. This location has great hospitality!

Worst customer service ever. They’re very Slow. What’s the point of making an appointment just to wait a hour or people that have later appointments get called first? You question them about what time are you going to get called and they say you’re next. Still wait 20 minutes after that. One girl who works behind the counter sits there and acts like she doesn’t see people when they walk to the counter to check in. Won’t be returning.

My visit at Destiny Dental was perfect for a very nervous person. The check process was seamless. Dental assistant Brian and Dr. Hrositiva ( spelling is wrong) broke everything down for me and even wanted to know my opinion. Will definitely be back.😁

After losing my job, and changing insurance from PPO to Medicaid it wasnt a good feeling at all. I had a trusted dentist that began work on 2 root canals, but he would no longer service me because of insurance coverage. On top of that, it was during the shutdown so only urgent situations were accepted which made getting help even more difficult.After calling around, Christian Community recommended Destiny Dental, but the reviews about the office staff werent appealing so lets just say I was very hesitant.When I say I was pleasantly surprised, I cant express just how much. The customer service received from the front desk wasnt noteworthy, but my dentist Dr. Hristova and her assistants Brian and Jamila won me over from the very beginning.At the end of the day, my dentist and her assistant team provided me stellar service and treatment. I highly recommend the team to everyone for preventive maintenance, root canal work, deep cleanings and even denture work (I overheard successes with other clients). As an adult patient, Dr. Hristova provided the best dental care for me, especially during my tooth pain and concerns with COVID. Thanks so very much for everything Doc! Youre simply the BEST!I noticed there was a changeover with the front desk as I attended appointments from fellow black young ladies to Hispanics. I also came to understand, the front desk is dealing with customers over the phone and in-person who are very anxious, angry and fearful of pain as well as out-of-pocket costs so lets just say we as customers havent been pleasant which can it very hard for the staff to provide friendly service in response.As patients, we should be mindful these folks are risking COVID as they work in the mouths of people trusting their service will provide relief of pain, and transform yuck mouths into an aesthetic best with original teeth or manufactured. Be nice!

I had an appointment set , I waited 40mins to ask how long it’s going to be just for them to say your next. I get called in the back just to wait even longer , I wouldn’t refer anyone here. 15 to 3mins is ok for a wait but any thing longer is unexceptional.. I won’t return

Wow, I was just searching for a dentist to call for an appointment today, and happened to find this one here. Whoever is managing these responses needs to lose their job, ignorant as all get out. Ghetto as hell. Planned on stopping by,however thanks to these responses I will go elsewhere where they seem to have a bit more respect and professionalism.

Me & my son have been coming to Destiny Dental for a few years the service has always been Good. I was waiting for a call back after they contacted my insurance they never called I would have to constantly call them. Sometimes they were a little unprofessional on the phone like I was bothering them but I over looked that. The last time I took my son Oct 2019 was Horrible. The staff was Unprofessional 4 of them 1 guy 3 ladies stood outside the room I was in laughing loud & talking for about 15 mins. The guy came & said give me 5 mins. When he did come 5 mins later he didn’t speak to me or my son he just start cleaning my sons teeth...he didn’t say a word he finished & left. I thought this was rude & weird. I will not be returning looking for another Dentist Office.In response to the Owner who is questioning why I’m leaving a review 3 months later. I never knew you could leave a review. As I was looking for another Dentist Office in my area Destiny Dental comes up first and that’s how I saw the review section. As an owner of a business I’m shocked at the beginning of your response. Also since your Very Curious of my experience 3 months ago (i only go to the dentist every 6 months) The facility was not clean like it normally is the floor in the room we were in had a huge brown spot in the middle of the floor I’m guessing it was rust from the chair I don’t know but it it also added to the visit being very unpleasant.

First I have to say that Destiny Dental on 87th and Cottage Grove has a wonderful staff. Dr. Emile is an awesome dentist very caring and extremely good. Yes sometimes you do have to wait but they do their best to accommodate you. I have recommended Destiny Dental to everybody I know especially Dr. Emile shes an awesome dentist.

Ive been here several times and they do a good job. They were very patient with my 5 year old son whose teeth they cleaned and they did an excellent job removing my impacted wisdom tooth. They explained everything to us so that we could understand it. We waited a little while but that was okay because the service we received was good. My only complaint is that I asked the receptionist to mail me a physical form in December and I never received it.

I have been coming to Destiny Dental for years with my children. This is the one place where they have had the best experience. We appreciate their patience and kindness to our family.

This place was great :) they have wonderful staff working there and very caring dentists. I had 4 cavities and they did an awesome job making sure I was comfortable and that I could handle the pain. They were also very patient with me about me not having approval from my doctor and waited while I could approval from them :) dont let the area determine the service

I went there to get my loose crown cemented back, I didnt know we can actually find that in Walgreens. However after two hours of waiting to see a dentist, I was made to wait another 30 mins inside just for a really rude lady to tell it its unethical to put my crown back ? And told me theres nothing anyone can do about it and Im supposed to go around toothless because she says its unethical to put my crown back or I can go to a different dentist who will take all my money to put it back. I really find it funny cuz I went to a Walgreens and got the cement and did it myselfand it fixed the aproblem. Need more training for your staff atleast on how to talk to patients.

This was my first time at this Dental office. The staff was absolutely Fabulous. From the Doctor on down to Charlie (Dental Assistant) and Prestina.(Dental Clerk) Just great Customer Service. I was so pleased. I so glad I chose Destiny Dental for my Dentist procedures.

The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and patient!!! I am very afraid of going to the dentist, I avoid it until the pain is unbearable. I went to the office today and was told that I needed to have a tooth extracted. Fear completely took over me!!!!!!!! The dentist and his assistants were so comforting and patient. Although I am still terrified it is comforting to know that the staff at Destiny Dental will be understanding of my fear and react accordingly. Thank you for making me feel at ease through this visit!!!!!

Since I have been bringing my children here, I have had no issues with the staff at all. I had one issue and I called them about it and it was resolved right away. I can say that I am very pleased.

People are nice but very unprofessional. You wait 2hours with an appointment and no one tells you whats going on. I guess due to the location no one care which is said. I dont understand just because its on the Southside of Chicago it doesnt have to be professional. Just because it excepts medical card this dentist office cant be ran at higher standard. Just sad. Definitely going to be going elsewhere. Not worth my headache. Time is valuable and they dont care......

A lot of the people that come in here are ghetto so they may rate it bad b/c they want the world handed to them. when you have a facility that accepts walk ins... expect a wait. but the service is good. the dentists are great and quick and to the point. they helped my child without me having to send her to a specialist that wanted to put my baby to sleep just to extract a tooth. its a great dental office.

Dr. Ward was excellent, representing a fine tradition of dentists coming out of Meharry Medical College in Tennessee (I asked). The dentures I received took a few days to certain in and they turned out to represent prime work. Thank you Dr. Ward and Thank you Destiny Dental.

I had an appointment for 9 a.m, the dentist still hasnt made it in. I understand patience, however their staff should consider the respect of other peoples time. To wait a ridiculous amount of time is absurd. I will complain to our insurance.

Terrible terrible wait time not good, went there and hadnt been there in awhile dont ever wanna go back. DESTINY DENTAL ON 87TH SUCKS. Had an appointment at 12 but called said Ill be late got there at 1215 still at 245 hadnt seen the dentist when I walked to the back she was on a patient when I just got up and walked out she was on a walkin ugh!!!! Excellent.The entire staff are very curtesious,polite friendly professional. All out very good demeanor. MsJasmine andSymore andCamile are very great Above all the doctor that did procedure is very excellent. Dont forget about the receptionist. All in all the facility is great I will refer you to my friends.

I was skeptical at first, and didnt know what to expect from them before going; as its difficult to find good help and attention within my neighborhood. Ive had a broken tooth for about 4 years and any and all dentists that Ive been to has only suggested the more expensive option. Dr. Kini (Kenny) not only was able to do my root canal - he contested my insurance company about the work I NEEDED to have & was able to do the work. I can truly say that I was overall impressed with the doctors and blown away by the personalism of the desk clerks. Ive recommended this office to 2 friends and they have come in for everything from cleanings to crowns.

I havent had a a horrible experience but it wasnt a great one. The front desk worker seemed unprofessional to me but the doctor and his assit.. They were great. They made the experience better being that I hate the dentist anyways. I did have to wait a while to see the doctor after I already made a appointment and it took them forever to find my name in the system.

And when i was finally called to the back i waited another fifteen minutes before a dentist came in to (treat) me whuch was ten mintes in ...,no every one is,not ghetto who come in and if they had an bad experience they have a right to write their views on the matter. If people in this dentist office cant take bad or not so good reviews then i dont think they should be asking for people to rate them.

The wait time is extremely long waited over two hours in the lobby then get to the chair and waited over an hour for them. Prior to the appointment I complained about the left side tooth hurting the dentist refuse work on the side I said needed attention but tells me she see something on the right side thats she going to work on. Needs zero stars

This place is horrible I went in for a filling that had came out. I should have known she didnt know what she was doing when she had the water running all down my neck and back, my hair was soaked a lot of other stuff in between wrong but to make a long story short the filling fell out after a week my insurance said I had to go back there cause they would not pay for same tooth twice. I didnt want the same denist (kumar) so another dentist (EY)did this time . She was a Lil better but 2wks later that filling came out too they lied to my insurance said they told me to come back in for xrays and some more b.s. so if you love your teeth DO NOT GO HERE!!

I waited an hour to be seen, the so called dentist look like she just came from the club. The environment was extremely ghetto with all types of inappropriate conversations. Ill never go back to that clown show of a dentist office again.

I called to question why I was charged for an x-ray that I did not receive. The person I spoke to said it was in my file. I explained that on April 12th, I did not have an x-ray. I came to the dentist because I was still having sensitity from work done in March. The dentist only told me to use sensitive tooth paste. The sensitivity in my teeth would last about 10 weeks. I did not get an x-ray. She had the nerve to tell me that it was my word against her records. She laid the phone down and I could hear her say I am not talking to this women. When she came back I told her she was very unprofessional. I advised I would file an appeal with my insurance company. She said go ahead. I called my insurance to file the appeal. You cannot charge for services not rendered.

So i left because i cant trust the service with this behavior

Two appointments I had to wait over 45 minutes both times. I do not wait for services that I am paying for. The staff seemed not to care. My family will not be back.
