I was lied to yesterday about the forth going care of a woman I am a guardian for it to find out this place brought her 2 hrs away from Worcester to abandon her if you love your elder family or non family please dont bring them here I had issues with this place before with keeping me up to date on her care and I still loved everyone here but after this Incident today I wouldnt trust them with a pet roach if I had one..I am livid 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Id like to take a moment to say nice job and thank you to Latonya, the Activity Coordinator on the Fourth Floor. Latonya has made a difference in the quality of life for my family member who currently resides at Worcester Rehab. She is kind and has a wonderful sense of humor which are qualities that have enabled her to help him feel successful and not frustrated. We have been grateful for the hard work she does to help him achieve his goals.

First. Latanya.... You are THE BEST!!!! You have been awesomely great. Been there when I needed to talk to... Youre help and caring has been heart warming. Thank you for caring Latanya!!! Id like to recognize Buru a nurse on the 2nd floor. Buru saved my life I was very sick with a pneumonia and went into acute respiratory failure, his quick actions saved my life. Thank you Buru

I would like to thank all the staff here at worcster rehab for caring and helping get through a tough time in my life. And i would especially like to thank Latanya Sims. For always being there and listening to me and giving me such encouraging words that took me out of the slump i might have been in at time she seem to always know what to say to always brighten up my day once agian i just want to say thanks again and keep up all the good work!

To whom it may concern. My brother peter tsoumas has been here for two plus years. Hes been at three facilitys prior to this one and this one is the best one of all. In the 2.5 years im very satisfied with the care that hes been giving. The staff lead by latanya sims whom is the director of the unit has been most attentive to peters needs. Latanya sims is a huge asset to this organization and hopefully she will remain with peter for years to come. Every time i have a problem i deal with latanya personally and she ALWAYS accommodates peters needs.Sincerely john toumas.

I am a current resident here with absolutely no complaints on this facility. Care has been exceptional. I have been very well taking care of. The staff and residents are all very nice and very helpful. I honestly don’t want to go. It’s almost bitter sweet for me.

If I could I would give this place negative stars. The staff does not care about the patients. My dad is a current patient there. He has been left in his chair for long periods of time when he cannot sit. It will take them 30 to 45 minutes to change his diaper which is uncalled for and has caused him sores. When calling the facility it takes 10 to 15 minutes or a couple times of calling to get to the floor that you need to be connected to. Mailboxes are always full and can never leave a message. The social worker never gives a call back when you leave a message. They are not good to their patients. If you have an issue it does not get resolved. They have lost my father‘s clothes in The laundry. He has had one shower since being up there and it was an ice cold shower that they gave him. And they do not answer the patients call light in a timely fashion. There has been times where the light will be on for an hour and no one will come in. My father also has mice in his room and nothing is being done about it. The place is an absolute disgrace

Not sure what is going on there- Im told nurse gives a bunch of pills in a cup. When asked what is in the cup the nurse answer was your medicines Which pills are in here? Nurse answer They all are in there . Again stated wants to know specifically what medicines are in the cup of because med errors elsewhere in past. Nurse answer These are your pills, they are all in there. This person knows meds and dosages. Im not sure whether to check with Medicare, the DPH and/or Board of Registration in Nursing. Arent you supposed to tell people what they are being given?

I dont know where to begin Im a patient here now im suffering i have not even got a diagnosis for the rash i caught here night shift kithen staff should be fired doctors dont care about anything but money numbers poor care i have a pick line im sill waiting for a new bandage i have been taking care of my own wound because the nurse put me in more pain than I was in to begin with feces in the shower room this place is discussing im calling attorneys oh i forgot to mention the black mold in the tub in my room there are some great employees here though a severe horse n pony show im done being nice

This place should be shut down and boarded up. Staff on the floor is amazing. The higher ups are rude, condescending and will not help at all. I have reported this place to the Worcester BOH amd I hope they help the poor people who are stuck there. If you are ever told to deal with Sonja, run the other way, she is nasty

Considering legal counsel so will not state any horrific infractions here.My problem is there were many staff who were beyond amazing. So what does one do with the management and other subordinates NOT doing their jobs?!Open a reputable facility so the awesome ones will have a job?!?!

Great experience with a family member admitting to this facility. Friendly medical staff and great day to day activities as well as no complaints on the food. All around great place !

Know a few friends who were placed here for additional help and resources after detox. This place changed their lives. They entered in bad shape and came out changed forever. Great staff that truly try to change the drug addiction population for the better in Worcester.

My name is Tanya Beeber; jeff is my email. I had an issue with the rehab and I spoke with corporate; they fixed it immediately. Everything that I said that I needed fixed was addressed right away. Just like any place, you need to speak up if you have a problem b;t will fix it. I am one hundred percent happy that that was addressed today. I can say that it is a great feeling to know somebody cares when youre away from home, and away from the people you love and who love you.

Unfortunately as you can see there are a lot of negative reviews. But personally knowing the facility I would have to say that the staff here are kind, they deal with a lot of circumstances and give it their best. A lot of the clientele in the building are hard to deal with and they feel entitled but the staff try their hardest. The food is far from disgusting as the food service director takes a lot of pride in his work and the kitchen tries to accommodate everyones needs. This building opens their door for all which is not something you see for a lot of other skilled nursing facilities.

I work security in this facility and it is just absolutely amazing the staff knows what they are doing and every hall smells very clean. I would recommend this rehab for your family or friend because progress is our known talent.

Worcester Rehab is 5 rated rehab to me because they dont only take of physically hurt people but all kinds homeless , people that need OT ,PT rehab and people with drug problems. They treat us all the same, they are always right there for you . Im in tears as Im writing this! It is very very clean and you always have a choice to eat. They dont just serve you with anything . Medication is always on time. the CNAs take care of you like youre family. I love this place.God says never judge anybody and they dont. I want to say thank you Worcester Rehab.

I currently work here in this facility as there receptionist and so far ive had such an amazing experience! The staff is amazing and are always right on top of things and the management here is also amazing and on top of everything, the building is really full of amazing residents as well such a wonderful place to send your family memebers and loved ones

Being a patient at Worcester rehab has given me the strength, self confidence , better self well being but most importantly has given me a better outlook on myself and my future.

MOST disgusting facility i have ever seen. Day one i knew it was going to be bad when the nurse entered the room saw three of us and continued to ask who the patient was. They let my mother 2 weeks without showering before notifying us she hadnt been.They kept her cooped up in her room and refused her needs when she asked. Patients were left in the hallways daily to sit in their own feces. The place is a mess and we did everything we could to get my mother out of their. NOT to mention they messed up her meds which was the only reason why she was their and now has lost a month of treatment and now have to start over. If i could give them no stars i would! we have filed other complaints too but if you love your family member your sending dont bring them their... It was out of my control at the time but i did everything i could to fix it! the patients rooms showers are covered in plywood. so the whole floor has to share one but the nurse says they can only do it once a week.!

I worked here for 3 months and left!!! This is NOT a good place to work. You have to basically learn how to do your job yourself. If youre a good worker the residents only want you and if youre a bad worker youll fit in fine and complain with all the other bad workers. I feel bad for the residents here because they are not being cared for properly. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME APPLYING!!!!! Its terrible!!!!!

Horrible experience with this place. Family member passed away from covid on April 6 which he was exposed to from an optometrist that the facility management brought in without okay from his health care proxy. Facility still unable to find and give back personal belongings of family member also.

I have sent multiple emails to Judy Hyland regarding Worcester Rehabilitation, describing the state of affairs that my father was in. As well as the lack of care he received at this facility. He was never showered or taken care of by the staff. When this was brought to the attention by us to staff including Sarah and Bob Montgomery, nothing was done. Nothing was changed. My father was put on a medicine that was exceptionally dangerous for him because it has a negative side effect on the liver. I am not an armchair psychologist, I get my info straight from my VA psychologist, but noone at Worcester Rehab knows anything which is terrifying, I used the normal name for his medication and they had no idea what I was talking about, I take the same damn medication. Its obviously not the right medicine for my dad you idiots.This is the same medication that had my fathers initials forged next to it.It is now almost Christmas time and my father is just getting to the point where hes relearning to walk again. I am waiting to hear back that both Bob Montgomery and Sarah have been fired, Ill go up there and check myself. Every day if I have to to make sure they never work in this business again. People who are incompetent dont deserve to help people. Get to it, before I get lawyers more involved.

The reviews on the page are funny, I believe the kind of clientele they take at this facility is more of the issue then the building or staff itself. Staff do the best they can given the situations they are put into at that building with behaviors they have to deal with. I get the sense that patients don’t like rules and hence all the negative reviews.

Do not send anyone here. The laziest staff. They work backwards... it takes days to see a dr and they dont even put the orders in that they are supposed to...none answers call light.. people are overdosing in here left and right.. horrible horrible place

I live on the next street over for 20 years and still do. My mother had AAA heart surgery I picked this place because it looked nice since I live here and it was a 2 min walk. Every day @ 2am or 3am my mother would call me wake me up, crying saying no one Answers her light so she could use bathroom. I would go over bang on the door and they would let me in I would explain to no avail, had to do it myself, Arrangement made for me to come over because they were to busy.I walked around facility at sometimes 3-4 am for assistance staff where asleep.Im a CHHA-Crisis counselor and PTA.And I never seen so many patients ask me for help

My father-in-law was hospitalized here after being diagnosed with a form of dimension. I am legally his healthcare proxy and it was enacted before he was sent to this building. It was then reenacted by their nurse practitioner Abraham, approximately 2 weeks after he was brought here. Shortly after Sarah, the ONE social worker for the ENTIRE building, the rest of the care team and myself had a meeting, regarding my fathers care plan. About a month after that Mr. Bob Montgomery, the administrator and all of the staff at the building refused to acknowledge my legal healthcare proxy paperwork, forged my fathers signature for medication he should not have been taking that I did not agree with, when he fell they waited 24 hours to call an ambulance and send him to an actual hospital where they found out he was in septic shock because he perforated and organ. Needless to say, I would never recommend this place to anyone unless youd like someone to die a slow painful death.

This place really should be looked into by health agencies and human rights they are more like a jail and treat their paitaint with no human respect and break the law on a daily basis by body searching and bag and room searching when there are there for medical and physical therapy help and not for a drug rehab , they take patient belongings and wont give them to them unroll they are ready to and even the police can not search you without proper cause and if you dont remember what time and what meds are due to you then you will never get them they are truly a joke of medical professionals and I use that term lightly, please someone in authority will you look into this place? Go under cover because when they know your coming they put on a big act...

IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR FAMILY/FRIENDS GET THEM OUT OF THIS PLACE!!!!! I have not been a patient thank god! But unfortunately my b/f was sent to this poor excuse of a health care facility to recoup from surgery that left him with an open wound/pick line/wound vac. He noticed blood at the wound and asked for help to be told to lay down and elevate it, they did not even look at it for another 2 hours, They neglected to attach his wound vac for 4 and 1/2 hours only got attached due to a person there getting freaked out by the blood dripping, gave him food that if he would have eaten would have sent him into a diabetic coma, no meds at all (reg day to day meds including insulin as well as antibiotics), when asked to check his blood sugar the nurses were making rude comments like he was an inconvenience, bugs in the room, patients can come and go as they please and while outside watched someone from the facility purchase drugs on the street. I’m absolutely furious that this place can even operate as a health care facility! I really wish I didn’t have to give the star I had to so I could write a review!!!!!

Staff are rude and lazy. CNAs fall asleep while working.call lights go unanswered for extended periods of time. Glad tp hear Bob Montgomery got fired.All the 5 star reviews are from staff and patients who have been bribed to give high ratings. I know 1 of the patients who gave a 5 star review is a compulsive liar.

This has to be the most disgusting place unless Parsons is the same way because the same corporation owns both. I would not want my worst enemy to be in this place. The staff does absolutely nothing but give meds and even that is questionable. Morning meds given at noon time. The staff is rude and not willing to help at all. They do not change sheets, pillow cases nothing !!! No one knows what is going on. I knew the minute I walked thru the doors this was not a good place. If you have other options please do not go here !! Run away as fast as you can. The Department of Public Health will be getting a phone call from me that is for sure !! How this place is open is beyond me. I guess because Athena Health has enough money to cover things up. A staff member told me personally that there is 1 nurse to 30 patients are you kidding me !!!!!! This is so sad that this is how human beings are being treated.

Well, my review seems to not be well received by this facility. Maybe because its the truth. Your administrator, Bob Montgomery, has lied out his teeth the entire time we have dealt with him. Trespassed my fiance who was my fathers legal healthcare proxy for trying to lock her into the facility. She had to go file a police report because of it. Your staff or whomever, forged my fathers signature to give him meds. All meds go through healthcare proxy before being giving to him. Laws are not followed, unlike in other Athena run places. My father then fell, they did not call us or inform us about the fall. Nor did they send my father to the hospital for 24 hours. They stuck him back in bed even though he was I excruciating pain. The next day around 5pm, he was transported to Umass. His blood pressure dropped rapidly, they then had to put a pick line in his neck and perform 2 surgeries. Even the doctors there informed me he may not make it. Thankfully my father is a bull and pulled through. You can look at the pictures I put up, thats him. Plus, this Bob Montgomery guy literally tried to fight me when he found out I was a veteran. Seriously guy? Grow up. This is a terrible place, dont send your loved ones here.

There are so many complaints on this page about this place. If you want your loved one to get care do not take them to this place. It is the worse one in the city. I am not going to put how I feel about the staff members due to retaliation against my sister. They do nothing to help the patients. Family members getting harassed by patients asking them to bring them stuff while they are visiting there loved ones. Athena owns this nursing home, they are reading these and doing nothing about it. I have documented proof and photos of everything. I went to visit my sister one day. The commode was full of feces they was towels and feces on the floor and the cna just left them there. I cannot tell you how many times my family has called and complaint about this place and whats going on and nothing is done. We hate going up there to visit our loved one because the room is always dirty. They leave patients in bed for weeks. All they care about is the bottom line. Getting money for patients. Update. Have you ever heard of a place telling a patient that they cannot get there meds? This place has!! They have told my sister on the overnight that she cannot get her meds, due to NO nurse staffed on the overnight. The staff has not changed her at all. The CNAS has changed my sister with the curtain wide open and in front of her roommate. If you truly love your family member please do not let them get sucked into this facility. They are rude and talk another language in front of the patients and there families. The owners are a joke. They see all these complaints and do nothing to change it. How many people have gotten worse since they arrived at this place? And when you confront the staff, they retaliate against my sister. Bob Montgomery does nothing!

Bottom.line if u dont want to end up accidently eating a grasshopper then dont come here.. If u want ur medications on time... Dont come here.. The nurses are great .. However they are over worked and understaffed.. The CNAs do not give the invalids baths or sponge baths they dont make sure you have fluids to drink.. There is one social worker for the whole building and she is very unprofessional.. Its unfortunate that the people that work here that are good get a bad rap for those that are not ..The director BOB will kiss ur hindend wen corporate is here , but not care any other time. He will treat you with disrespect and speak down to you condescendingly..He will never have time to speak to u if u need anything. .Bottom line is I wouldnt have had checked any stars but to leave this review i had to..DPH has been notified... And they said they are tired of hearing about here..

I put in an application and the lady at the front desk LOST IT how do you lose an application obviously she didnt care and probably just tossed it to the side like really if u cant even keep track of an application why are you even working there?

I wasnt actually a patient but with the way my aunt was treated i wouldnt want my worst enemy to be put here. There was never anyone around and was appalled when her roomate was made to remain sitting in her own waste for 2 and a half hours. Completely neglectful.

This place is awful i dont recommend anyone sending there love ones to this facility. The Staff are rude disrespectful they ignore the patients needs and there even rude to there family and friends that come to visit. They left my mother in her feces for 3 hours the first day she went in there they didnt access her they just shoved her in her room and left her there.Luckly i was there to witness everything im disgusted with this facility and there unprofessional staff.

My uncle is currently in this facility and also I knew someone who worked here that left due to the lack of care given.My uncle smells of urine every time Ive gone in to see him and his clothes are dirty. He cries to me that hes up in his wheel chair all day and no one changes him and at night when he calls to be changed no one comes. Ive reported this to DPH and they dont seem to care either.How could this place still be in operation after all the bad reviews? I implore all of you that have loved ones there to report your concerns to DPH and Ada adamantly demand them to do something.Im taking this to Boston and the press if I need to.The person I knew who worked here quit due to the lack of quality of care there and she is a nurse who encouraged me to report my concerns to DPH.THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!

Someone needs to investigate this place.The only good reviews have to be paid or staff.I have never seen a more rude crew.Security and a few are nice and professional.But some of the LPNs on the 5th floor,acted like you are bothering them and look down on you.These woman give this place a bad name.Disgusted!

This is the worst nursing home/physical and occupational therapy facility I have ever had the displeasure of being an inpatient of. The conditions are deplorable, I, like most of the residents(especially those who dont have overseers) was treated by most of the staff(younger and older) with disrespect, was my needs were ignored including my call light and phone calls to nurses station and other in-house service, I felt, demoralized, undignified and utterly disgusted with every staff just about every staff person I encountered! This place has no idea about infectious control, housekeeping and does not even use bleach or disinfectant in the building! There is no privacy whatsoever, staff does not knock before entering and it is apparent that they all live in open caves and just do not care and/or want to earn their/my money! I would not even send my ex-husband here for short-term care. I had worked in healthcare for 25 yrs and I often wish I knew much less as it saddens me deeply to think about moving on and leaving these other defenseless, elderly, physically and mentally challenged residents behind without advocacy and/or protection. Also, my insurances are being billed daily for services not rendered! The actual DPH rating for this nursing home is a 1.

Wish I didnt have to put a star. Poorly run, the staff are running around like crazy because their working short. The people running the place are rude to patients and their own staff. Feel bad for the patients who have to live there.
