I sincerely wish I could give this sorry excuse for a doctor a lower rating than a 1 star. This first thing I want to be clear on is that we are a family of health care practitioners. So please give this review serious consideration and think about the implications. I am a surgical RN who has been a patient of Dr. Jacksons for at least 5 years, probably closer to 7. During this time he has sent me for physical therapy, steroid injections etc. and nothing has helped. About 2 years ago, another physician did perform a surgical procedure which actually did help for awhile. Anyway, Dr. Jackson suggested I undergo another round of steroid injections, which I agreed to. The treatment was supposed to be a series of 2 injections every other week for a total of 6. After the first round, I was actually feeling some relief and was excited about this weeks upcoming round. I completed 2 of the 6 injections. Let me note, that my experience at the surgery center was subpar. Numerous issues, not the least of which was that I believed my anesthesia was not managed properly. In the evaluation given at the end of my visit I commented on my opinions and observations. A week later, just a few days before my next round of procedures Dr. Jackson called me to tell me that if I didnt like his surgery center, he didnt want me as a patient. Of course, he doesnt have to treat anyone he doesnt want to treat, but in the over 30 years that I have been practicing, I have never heard of anything like this. SO BEWARE, do not offer any negative opinions or you will be dropped as a patient in the middle of your treatments. A true piece of work. Keep in mind, this is how he treats a colleague- how will you be treated??? Guess he might prefer treating lay people who have no idea what constitutes good care and what doesnt.

It is so hard when you move and have to establish new doctors and treatment care. I fractured my lower back and had to have minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Jackson and his team are so efficient and thorough with my treatment as well as my aftercare. I highly recommend their office.

It is difficult me to rate a physician at a higher level than one star when I cannot even see said physician, but here is the story:Dr. Jackson gave me four epidural shots over two weeks for chronic neck pain with a scheduled follow-up with him. Instead of seeing him for the follow-up, I saw his PA even though there were numerous things I wanted to discuss with him, including the multiple side-effects that I suffered from the pain meds he prescribed. I also wanted to discuss the pain I suffered when the anesthesia was insufficient during one the epidurals and then when on the next procedure when the anesthesia was increased, the side effects that I suffered from the extra anesthesia. In that I could not speak with him, I did not bother to deal with some of it with his PA.Twice, his PA left the room to convey my comments to him. I could hear his voice through the closed door as she conveyed my statements. As an aside, the billing for each of the epidurals was $3000 a piece. I would think that generation of that much revenue would have justified a brief meeting with the physician with whom I scheduled the post procedure visit. Slightly ridiculous medicine! As an aside, during my first two morning visits to the Florida Orthopaedic Institute, there was no soap in the mens bathroom. Not good for a surgical center!Oh and yes, my 4 epidurals did not alleviate my pain!

Wow! Where do I begin? This man is a joke!Believe me, 1 Star is too much for him and his staff. Similar experience as the other reviewers on here.Who is this Dr. Jackson? On our first appointment (with Dr. Jackson) we only saw his PA. She asked us..”would you like to meet Dr. Jackson?” Like he was a celebrity or something. We had a freaking appointment with him! But didn’t see him. We didn’t care to waste our time “meeting” him.Today we had an appointment, the PA again came in. This time she said, “Today you will talk with Dr. Jackson”. Well whoop de doo!! So we waited another 30 minutes for him to come in. Well....he ain’t no celebrity!!That place is so messed up....without going into details, he told my husband that he would like for him to see his colleague regarding his issue. When we ask who the colleague was...it was the same freaking Dr. that referred us to Dr. Jackson!!! Man, really??? Read your notes!!! It’s right in front of you!! No wait...maybe it’s not...because they could never find the X-ray on my husbands record that they took our first visit a few weeks ago! He had the X-ray done there. I had to show them a picture of it that I took with my phone!!!It’s all about the Benjamin’s!! So sad that healthcare has came to this. Can’t find a decent doctor these days! One more thing...if you are an orthopedic specialist, don’t you think you should know about the neck and the shoulders?? And maybe the back and all other bones in the body??? After all they are connected!!
