Had a bad experience with this office that caused me to lose 2 years of progress with my Allergy Treatments. Dr. Ford and the Assistants from 3 years ago were good but the loss of 2 years of Allergy treatments lost me as a Patient.

Absolutely horrible! They lost my lab records (lab had a confirmation so this was absolutely on GMSs end) so I had to get them resent. Still waiting two days later on WHAT labs I need THIS time and oh, great. Now it’s a holiday weekend. Now I get to wait three more days, goody! Not like my prescription is running out... oh, wait. My prescription is running out.Looks like I’ll be getting a different doctor!

I have been a patient of Dr, M Weissman’s for nearly 30 years. My first time in their office was a workers comp visit but then I selected them as my primary care doctor. On time appointments, great services, friendly staff, what more can you ask for.

I have had the distinct pleasure of being a patient of GMS Docs - New Tampa Primary Physicians for nearly 12 years! My wife and (now) adult children are seen by team @ GMS. Their expertise, kindness, and compassion are bar-none! Simply put they are EXCELLENT! The staff is very knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. They are not quick to see and dismiss you but rather take their time in understanding your needs in prescribing the correct course of treatment. In my 12 years as a patient I have never had a bad experience. Period. They are open later than most offices and even offer office hours on Saturday.

Ive been going to this office for around 15 years now. Dr. Ford is my doctor. She is very empathetic, sharp, and a great doctor. She clearly really cares about her patients. The rest of the staff is very good. They always get me in right away when Im sick. Great doctors here. Great staff.

I have such a great relationship with them that I have referred my best friend to them and she is also very satisfied with them as well. I will truly miss Dr. Frazier since he was the first doctor I saw when I started going there and because of how he treated me as a patient, I continue to go to them. They are really good at working with me since I am a self pay patient with no insurance and they still make it affordable for me to be able to continue my medical needs with them. Thanks to the whole staff there and KUDOS to all!!!!!

Where do I start? The staff is horrible! I complained about their attitude, I was specific and told them about Rose which was the rudest out of all of them but no one did anything because guess what?! The office administrator was just as rude and disrespectful as she was. All the visits where rushed, in many occasions they couldn’t find what was causing me to lose my voice and left me with no voice and no diagnostic. I went to get an annual check and because of the horrendous service they provide one of the doctors walked in asked if I needed refills and left, when I went to the front desk wondering about my check up they said they made a refill visit and that I needed to pay for it. I told them my appointment was for a annual check up and that it was covered and that it was the doctor who asked me for refills. They call one of the supervising doctor and she said “oh you’re healthy you don’t need no annual visit, because of the confusion we won’t charge you” I never got my annual check up done. Don’t waste your time, don’t go there.

I had just moved to the area and needed a Primary Care Physician and let me tell you I read up on my insurance site what doctors were near by and Dr Ford was one of them. She was everything and more of what I expected. She was so sweet gentle and kind. It was freezing in the room I was waiting in as I should’ve expected but I didn’t bring a sweater. I turned on the lamp to generate a little warmth , Dr Ford literally was so cool with it. We did my physical q&A etc with it off, she turned it back on for me when she was done. How thoughtful?!!! The nurse that took me back was nice as well. And when she took my blood she made sure I was comfortable. Definitely go if you’re thinking about it. And they have WiFi which is a plus because my iPhone was getting 0 service while in the waiting room looking for recipes.

I went to Dr. Weissman office which was my first visit. The wait time was excellent the I was treated with such professionalism and the Dr.s and staff were very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this practice. I was made to like I was their number one priority. Awesome experience.

I have been going to see Kimberly Channels and absolutely LOVE her. One of the best physicians I have ever seen. My daughter and sister also see her due to my recommendation. I almost never have much of a wait there ever. I can always get an appointment, even same day! I would highly recommend this place and doctor!

My first visit, the front staff and the nurse was great. But as for the Physician assistant Leilani didnt care for her. Rushing throughout the visit, didnt acknowledge anything that I had mention to the medial assistant. Keep checking her watch and actually cut my sentence because she ran over her visit with me. How rude. I work in the medical field and WE dont rush or treat our patients that way. Walked out without my referrals because she said they had to submit to my insurance, when thats a lie. Went to a new doctor and GOT ALL my referrals right there like I needed. Listen to your patients. We pay for our visit and our insurance pays you!!!!!

If you want to see your Dr. Today you should have made the call 3 weeks ago you should have known you were going to be sick 😷. Because thats how long its going to take them to fit you in 😤 . I and my family will nolonger be going to this Dr office or even my best friend who also is sick and tried to get in she was told the same thing 3 weeks before you can be seen. I I just got out of the hospital and still 3 weeks not happy . We all deserve better care from our Drs I give you a failing grade F- Will be tell everyone I know who are you starting now

The doctors & staff at this office are extremely polite, patient, and have compassion. I very much value their early morning and later evening hours, and they have always worked around my schedule. I am thankful for such excellent care!

I was able to schedule an appointment as a new patient for the next day. When i came for my appointment I was seen promptly. The provider I saw was very kind and helpful.

I have been a patient here for over 20 years! I love the staff and the Doctors/ PAs! This office has improved so much over the past few years. Anytime I call, I am always able to get an appointment on and near when I would like and my question is always answered promptly. Great job docs! I wont go anywhere else!

The only thing I dont like about this office is the wait time in the room. Some visits are better than others though. Otherwise its a great doctors office. They definitely take care of me!

I am treated with respect, kindness and dignity.The entire staff listens to my issues, asks clarifying questions and seeks consult and extra information when it is needed.I love the friendly staff and the efficiency of the office.My favorite people are Dr. Weismann and Kim Channels. Both Dr. Ford and Dr. Weissman spend the time to listen to me as a patient. I feel comfortable in seeing either of them. The front office staff are professional, helpful, respectful, and friendly.The back office medical assistants are usually friendly and helpful which goes a long way in making a visit to a physicians office much more relaxing.

I have been going to this office for over 15 years since Dr. Frazier treated Busch Gardens employees. Ive never had an issue getting a same day or next day appointment. I called on December 31st and was told the first appointment is January 14th. I asked why and was told due to the holidays. This is a lie because my husband called several months ago to try and get an appointment and was also told appointments were 2 weeks out. I was told if I had a cold/flu or was in pain then I needed to call first thing in the morning when the phones were switched over and wait on hold and ask for a same day appointment but they would only see me for that reason. They would not treat anything else during that appointment or do any regular prescription refills. I needed FMLA paperwork filled out for work and another issue checked out and was told that it didnt qualify for same day appointments. They said if my issue got worse it would but they wouldnt take care of my FMLA paperwork at that time though. So much for being a loyal patient. I will be getting my medical records and finding a new doctors office.

I have been receiving medical care at GMS for several years. What I like there is that I can make an appointment to see a doctor in very little time, usually within one or two days. I also have found that the doctors/PAs are willing to take time to listen to me; I never feel like I am being rushed out of there. They really seem to want to help me, they order appropriate tests and keep me informed. I am 67 years old, very active and I credit them for helping me to maintain my good health now for several years.

Very good. I have been with this office for 20 to 30 yrs and service has always been good and gotten better. Dr Martha Ford has overseen my care with Medicare and I am well satisfied. The staff is good and friendly, I never have to wait long and they leave you with candy.

I am a new patient and my experience was extraordinary. They were able to get me in on short notice and the office staff was extremely friendly. The doctor that saw me was very great and recommend me to another specialist I just absolutely had a great experience in this office thank you so much

Everyone at Dr Weissman and Dr Ford is pleasant and helpful. The wait times are not bad and my husband and I have been going there for 25 years and really like the doctors and staff. Their advice is knowledgeable and genuine caring for their patients. We would recommend them to anyone looking for knowledgeable, caring GP doctors.

GMS is a pretty good group of physicians assistant and doctors.. Their medical staff is pretty attentive, nice and friendly! The wait time can sometimes be a little longer than usual but it depends on how busy they are. I would definitely recommend if you are in the New Tampa area🙂

The doctors and staff are extremely thorough. While there may be a slight wait past hour appointment time (maybe 5-10 mins) their flexible hours and easy scheduling are well worth it. I visit every 3 months for blood work and each time I am greeted with a warm smile that continues until I exit.

Have experienced a precipitous decline in service and quality of care. Could not recommend them any longer.

When I relocated here to Tampa, I wanted to find a doctor who could treat black men who were aging. I hit gold when I started going to see these doctors. Its be 14 years and Im still going there. I had even moved to Atlanta for about 10 months and I came back when I had an appointment. I love my Doctors.

I have been living in Tampa for almost 6 years. I have been having the toughest time finding a suitable primary care physician that actually cared about me and my my health, until Dr. Ford. A coworker referred this office to me after being recently diagnosed with diabetes. Dr ford took her time, I was able to express all of my concerns and get knowledge of the desease after being treated so badly at the other doctors office I had been to. She listened carefully to everything I went through and put. Plan together for me. There is no way you will find a better facility or a better doctor to call your PC home. Dr. Ford is impeccable and I have already posted a review of her on my personal page.

The Docs and Nurse Practitioners, esp Cory, are top notch and give the best care. Ive never felt hurried, or made to feel that I was not important and I appreciate that. Kudos to the staff for their professionalism.

I’ve been going to this practice for over five years. The office staff is friendly and helpful, and the medical team is OUTSTANDING! I know that they care about me, and partner with me on the health and wellness of me and my children.

Coming since I was 14 and I am now 26. I moved away from that part of town, but still drive from South Tampa. They are just so flexible, squeezing me in all of the time, offer a lot of services under one roof so I dont have to go out for blood work or a well womens exam, etc.

I have been a patient for 10 years. I moved here from CA and this was the first gp office i went to and Ive never looked any further. Great atmosphere and all the medical staff are wonderful. Sad about Dr Frazier passing away but everyone at the office is very warm and make you feel that that u are the only patient.

Since moving to New Tampa several years ago, we have had GMS Docs - New Tampa Primary Physicians as our familys physicians. We could not be happier with Dr. Weissman, Dr. Ford, and Corey for their very professional, proactive approach to caring for our family members. Dr. Martha Ford was extremely concerned with my problems. She listened very carefully at what I was experiencing and that means a lot to me as some doctors are so busy that they dont really listen.Dr. Weissman also has been concerned with my problems and they both have been so helpful.I have recommended the office of GMS to many of our friends that have asked for help in finding a Primary care professional.

I like going to this facility, there are a few doctors working here so you dont have to wait very long. They are open late which makes it very convenient with my work hours. I have an overall very good experience here.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Weissman for well over twenty years now. If you are looking for a caring physician who actually listens it would pay to give these folks a try. I am not a newcomer to this area. For years I had to go to the ER for rapid heartbeat that came on without notice. Dr. Weissman prescribed medication and no more ER visits. We truly respect him and his knowledge but most of all just taking the time to explain what is going on and what our options are. In our opinion, he is one of the best internists in the Tampa Bay Area.

Been going here for 13+ years and they always find to fit you in.I live in Tampa Palms and its very convenient and I like the fact that they can do your blood work on site.Its also important to me that Dr. Weissman and most of the staff know myself and my family when we walk in.They make you feel very comfortable.

5 stars to Dr. Ford, and Ms. Otero. They are personable and knowledgeable physicians. Also, 5 stars to how easy it is to get a same day appointment! I very much appreciate it, specially when I feel terrible and need to schedule ASAP. I only dropped the overall rating to 4 stars because the waiting time is ridiculous! You will need to wait at least 45 min to be seen by the doctor; I can only assume it is because of the same day appt. situation, which is great, but it comes with the wait time drawback.

I have been seeing the doctors there for over 5 years and I totally trust them with my life and all my healthcare needs. There is min wait time anytime I go there. I am 100 percent satisfied.

I have been a patient for 20 + years. Great atmosphere and all of my health care staff and the support staff have always been their for support and to keep me in line. I was heart broken to learn about the passing Dr Frazier; back in the day I only saw Drs Frazier or Weissman.

I always get thorough treatment when I am seen. The wait can be a bit at times, but Ill trade that for the service and Saturday hours. Even when Im there for routine bloodwork and only need to see the PA, Dr. W always makes it a point to say hi and ask about me.

The office staff is efficient and pleasant to deal with, and the physicians and PAs are caring and highly skilled (a rare combination), so I highly recommend this practice.Two caveats that shouldnt run you off, but you should be aware of:1. You may notice some struggling with the input screens for their computer patient management system. Its features change often, with insufficient training for users. (Im unusually picky about that because I used to train system users.) This software vendor doesnt provide the online, hands-on training/practice exercises with every update that have been state-of-the-art for over 10 years.2. The billing service they use is WAY out of sync with your and your insurers payments. If you get a bill that seems incorrect, call your INSURER, not the billing service number. Your insurers customer service agent should be able to straighten it out, including contacting the billing service and calling you back with the outcome.

Had appointment with Dr Ford. She was pretty much on time and she listened to my problem which was recent night sweats. We jointly decided to get me a blood culture because of 2 major internal infections I had in the past 2 years since I had already tried antibiotics for this illness. She is really a good doctor.Rob

Dr Ford was great. Office and medical staff need some education on customer service.

I think that the office is great as long as you dont have a condition such as I do which requires a specialist. In this case and only in this case she wasnt sensitive to my condition or she didnt read my medical record.

I wish I would have read the reviews before going in, but they were one of the offices near my home that could see me on the same day. I was there for almost 3 hrs (waiting room + patient room) only to see a nurse practitioner for 5 mins just so she could prescribe me a z pack for my sinus infection. Please go somewhere else, they try to charge you for as much as they can here.
