Highly Recommend Dr. Buscemi..he performed last minute/ER surgery on my 93 year old Mother (Hip replacement).. She is doing great, no issues.. and Dr. Buscemi is just so pleasant to deal with (and his staff). Highly recommend!

5 weeks from the day of surgery and I couldn’t be more pleased! I had my other knee done 10 years ago and the experience was so bad I’ve forgotten the doctors name but remember his disappearance after surgery and the full year it took my knee the heal. That’s why it took another 10 years of enduring pain to finally find rescue in the name of Dr Buscemi. The man is my hero. Friendly, dry wit and capable he put me at ease. Just before surgery he thanked me for my trust in him!! Never have I heard of that! 28 hrs after arriving at St Joes North ( my first visit)I was home again after one night! My recovery has been very smooth, manageable pain after 4 days. I’m in my late 70s and was nervous about undergoing this procedure and am so glad to have met this delightful doctor. I could go on and on but probably shouldn’t. Don’t be afraid! And do your therapy!

They are the wrost do not go to this doctor they lie and they Recommend treatment but don’t give you a prescription for it they don’t know what they are doing and they don’t care about your treatment they are rude and all they do is play this office needs to be shut down I’m going to do my best by doing so

UPDATE: So this is still a raving review, just a heads up. But wanted to state that it’s been 6 months since my surgery. My ankle has completely healed, and I have absolutely no pain even after working 10 hours a day doing restoration work. Thank you Dr. Buscemi and his amazing assistant that was so helpful through the entire process, without her and Dr. Buscemi I wouldn’t be where I’m at today!Dr. Buscemi is amazing. I recently broke my ankle and I don’t have insurance. But without surgery I probably never would’ve walked again. He worked with me on an affordable payment and did everything in his power to help me. Thanks to him I had an affordable surgery and am on the way to recovery and being able to walk again! If it wasn’t for him, I don’t know what I would’ve done.

This practice is awful. I went in for a frozen shoulder. I was made to get an x-ray there and then the doctor came in. He spent no more than 2 minutes with me and said it was no big deal, I just needed to take ibuprofin 4 times a day and I would be okay in a week (not true) and he left. Big surprise came when we got the bill. He billed it at Level 5 coding. Since my husband works in the health insurance industry he was shocked by the bill. He asked how long I was with the doctor, and I told him less than 2 minutes. So a Level 5 billing is for seriously complicated/potentially life threatening visits of 90 minutes! His office absolutely refused to correct it. They would say the billing company would have to fix it, and the billing company would say Buscemi had to fix it. In the end, after getting my insurance company inlvolved they agreed to recode at a Level 4 what should have been coded at a level 1. So I was still stuck with an super high bill and I had to pay the whole thing because of my deductible. I guess if you are on a copay plan you wont care what they charge, but keep in mind you are dealing with an unethical practice. If they are willing to cheat on billing, what other unethical practices are they willing to engage in. Dont go there.

Dr. B is absolutely amazing. He was so nice and took his time with me. Always friendly and he was understanding and sensitive to my physical and financial needs. I drove an hour to see this doctor and was so worth it. Would recommend him to anyone looking for orthopedic physician.

If I could give these people a zero, I would! Very rude office staff!!! My family have been patients of Dr. Buscemi for 17 years and with him performing 8 surgeries and we have never been treated with such disrespect as we were today! We will find a new Orthopedic doctor!!!

OMG because it bothers me to see Dr. Buscemi when he has a nurse there that when you ask him a question she answers I was not comfortably with this at all, i thought the 3rd party in the room was to take notes, write rxs etc i have never experienced this before with any of my other doctors over the years. Pretty sure alot of people like myself dont like that but dont say anything.This person also when i had my first surgery with Dr Buscemi i had to take out my lip piercing, no problem but the girl at the front desk said i could sign a waiver to leave my nose piercing in, well his nurse confronted me about that and i explained that i signed a waiver so she tells me (get this) well i will just take it out when they put you to sleep !! Dr McClimans broke my Hippa rights by calling you and repeating what i said and i have filed a greivence with the insurance company. I got prosecuted for telling the truth. So i continue everyday with limited range of movement and sharp pain for over a few months now after tripping over my cats bed, God knows i didnt do this on purpose ...well i know i can deal with the pain and limited range of movement but it will prevent me from saving anymore feral kittens/trap and release, i cant lift a trap with a full grown cat to take them to be fixed and released.//all at my own expense but i am doing something that alot people dont and would not do there are only so many people that save these kittys/cats lives, Tampa is overwhelmed with feral kittens every summer and unfortunately alot dont make it because owners just throw them out of their cars on the freeways, peoples yards etc...so when people call me to take in litters usually bottle feeders, i will tell them i cant because my doctor wont fix me so i can continue to help and give them your number.....Thanks for the good you did do for me , i do think you are a great surgeon referred to you by Mary Hyle and my sister Janis Llerandi ....Hope your holidays are better than mine!

A money hungry office, their only interest is $$$. No interest in patient care or well being. I was referred to them by the hospital because my hand is fractured due to an auto accident and they will not book me due to my insurance taking “too long” to pay them as the front office people explain. Absolutely RIDICULOUS and the worst customer service I’ve ever seen! I would NOT recommend this office to anyone

Dr Buscemi is top notch in my opinion and he is about to do surgery #3. I know many people working at hospital and surgery centers and everyone hold me Dr. Buscemi demands excellence from anyone working in the operating room with him. I was impressed when he helped my friend who broke both his feet so when I needed rotator cuff surgery I contacted Dr. Buscemi Since that time, Dr Buscemi has done hand surgery and is about to do my knee surgery. I am super impressed and trust him 100%. His office staff has always been very helpful. Maybe the people who wrote complaints started the problem by being nasty to start with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Dr. Buscemi & his entire staff were nothing but upbeat and professional from the moment I entered with my injuries until my final follow up X-rays. My insurance only covers a portion of their fee - and I would gladly pay it again, knowing the care I will receive. His referral network is top notch and when I had to be sent out for an emergency he personally contacted and over saw my care. I have never had another doctor as accommodating Dr. Buscemi.

RUDE! The Dr does not care how the “medical assistant” treats his patients. Most unprofessional humans I’ve ever encountered. Treat you like an inconvenience. Feel terrible for the extremely kind front desk lady.

Dr buscemi I had an appointment august third an another appointment even though I have a id with me they wanted a photo supposely the doctor say only do from the arm I had bring the x rays an all the x rays I told him the doctor order a CT-scan the x rays I need from my primary doctor supposely look for a another doctor he cant see me so I said if he is not going to be my doctor I need my referred an document what they had did return just copy an didnt wanted to give me the script they were giving me the copys it was not good what he is doing getting my records an my originals ones they got because the doctor didnt wanted to see me I felt discriminated from the nurse an staff an the doctor an every one in front this is my comment.

Upon my one & only visit to Dr. Buscemi all was well disguised with the Office Staff....the doctor himself was pleasant and thorough. My HUGH COMPLAINT is the office staff...very rude and incompentant.....can not even process a clients file or paperwork correctly. They lost my information.I went to an appoint on Dec 20 and was given a form to go to outpatient services. The staff makes you believe this is ok however the procedure needed to be approved by the insurance company. This is the office staffs job to call and submit paperwork to the insurance company. They are avoiding their responsibilities and not performing their work.Today is January 30 and I never got the outpatient services and have recieved nothing but the run-around and rude responses from the staff. The office manager would not even speak to me. I did take the initiative to call my insurance company and try to follow through as to what I should do. Their response was: THE DOCTORS OFFICE NEEDS TO DO THIS..........I tried speaking to them & explaining the procedure but they refused to assist...Every word out of their mouths was avaoiding responsibility.Tracey who ever she is was the rudess most disrespectful person ever.Selly appears nice but bites like a snake & over talks the patient.Janet the office manager avoids calls.PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE......it is a pit of confusion and aggravation.Dr, Buscemi you need ALL NEW staff.

He repaired my painful elbow on Friday so I could play softball again. He treats you like youre his only patient.
