Dr. Patel is very knowledgeable and professional but Its extremely difficult to get anyone on the phone or to return phone calls. When I visit the office its great, everyone is courteous but good luck trying to follow-up on any procedures after you leave. Ive been trying to schedule an MRI that Dr. Patel referred for the last 3 months. Its extremely frustrating when your information doesnt get passed along and no office staff ever follows up

We have waited 1 hour in waiting room, not even in doctors room. My daughter just 2.5 years old. That was extremely cold inside (especially after heavy rain). She was so cold and started to cry. Hope she will not get sick. The comment from the staff was You are next in line all the time. We had to left as that level of uncertainty and attitude was beyond all possible limits. Horrible place to treat ENT issues. And no apologies from the staff at all. Hey, this is pediatric ENT. Do you remember that?

Dr. Patel was warm, courteous and reassuring. We went to him for our sons lip and tongue tie release at 5 weeks old. I was a nervous wreck going in and he was completely reassuring and even made the experience somewhat enjoyable because of the great care we received. The procedure was no big deal at all and my sons latch has improved 1000%. We had an excellent experience with Dr. Patel.

We are so grateful to have found Dr. Patel. He treats 2 of our children for allergies. Dr. Patel is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and caring. He not only cares about my childrens medical health, he inquires and gives suggestions for their emotional health as well. We feel so lucky to have Dr. Patel in our childrens lives.

Nalin Patel was absolutely wonderful. Professional, honest, had a sense of humor. He made me and my husband feel completely comfortable and helped our newborn son with his lip and tongue tie.I would 1000% recommend and go to him again if needed.

Getting a New Patient Appt was very easy. I met with Dr Patel and he told me that my child needed a minor procedure done. He gave me two options and told me to check with his staff about the availabilities. During Checkout I was told someone will reach out to me within a week after verifying my insurance. A week later no one called so I called the office and I was told that Becky the surgery coordinator will give me a call. They told me to leave her message. I was transferred to her extension. Few days pass by but no calls from her. When I called the office again, I was told me that she will call that afternoon. They transferred me to her extension again and I left another voice mail. I feel like Becky is very unprofessional, inefficient, careless, and unqualified for this job. Patient care doesnt matter to her. If you are going to see Dr Patel, please try not to deal with Becky. Youll be wasting your time!

I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor. Dr. Patel save my son’s life when the all childrens hospital had him seeing five doctors for 3 months and wouldn’t get better. Dr. Patel figured out what was wrong with him and got him better. I am for ever great full. His staff are friendly and help us in any way they can. If there is ever a wait is not bad when you are seeing the best, I don’t mind ever. Because thanks to Dr. Patel my son is alive and healthy. Thank you Dr. Patel for caring about your patients I would definitely recommend you to give Dr. Patel a chance if your one of those parents that thinks no one ever listen to you or care about your child’s health, because he sure does and is amazing at it.

Dr. Nalin Patel is so knowledgeable. He did an fantastic job on removing tonsils and adenoids for both of my kids. They recovered so quick without any other issue.He also specializes on allergy and found out what my daughter was allergic to. We at least took her to see two skin specialists, and even did the test before. But none of the others could tell me what’s causing her rough skin. I am so thankful that we met Dr. Patel. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel to everyone.

Not only was he patient as we battled the courts to get correct signatures for my foster son to have a tongue tie revision, but he was able to pin point my biological sons allergies. We had 3 dermatologists tell us his skin issues weren’t food related, within 3 months of elimination my sons skin was completely clear. We are so so so soooo thankful for Dr. Patel.

Dr. Patel was not just professional but he was compassionate! My son was injured in a wrestling match and he found the problem immediately and my son feels 100% better! I am so grateful to him and the staff for getting my son in so fast! Thank you all sooo much!!

I will 1,000 times reccomend Dr. Patel to anyone who is looking for an ENT. Him and his staff are just AMAZING. I took my 3 year old son in to have his tonsils/adenoids looked at along with his ears & Dr. Patel was very thorough & listened to all of my concerns and took the time to explain why some of the things are going on with my son. That same day we scheduled an appointment for the next week to have the tonsils/adenoids removed along with getting tubes placed in his ears. Dr. Patel and his staff are the EXAMPLE of how a pediatric specialty should treat their patients and the patients family. After ALL the members of his team that were assisting in my sons surgery built a rapport with him before the surgery, he was so comfortable to leave me and go with them that he wasnt even worried about giving me a kiss and a hug! (Sad mommy moment) but it put me at such ease! They did an amazing job and I am forever grateful for Dr. Patel and the staff that works along side him! My son was acting his normal self a couple hours after we were home & actually acts like nothing happened to him. 100% RECCOMEND! They are just amazing, I cannot say it enough!

Doctor is great. The staff is rude and I compassionate! The lady on the phone just kept talking over me and when was asked to please listen said my managers right next to me.

Dr. Patel was SO good and understanding with me and our little baby girl when we found out she had a tongue and lip tie. I was so nervous about doing any kind of procedure with her being so young but he was perfect in easing my fears and allowing me plenty of time to ask lots of questions, I never felt rushed or pressured at all, and I couldnt stay in the room to watch it so he told me where the bathroom was and before I was even done washing my hands he was already done and she was back asleep! :) We followed his simple instructions for the short recovery period after and she is doing amazing! Her breastfeeding is so much better and its so much easier on both of us now, if you are having breastfeeding problems and/or think your child has a tongue or lip tie I cant recommend him and his entire office and friendly nurses enough, thank you!

I suspected my son had a tongue/lip tie when he was 1 week old. It was causing severe issues with breastfeeding and his weight gain. Although Dr. Patel was fully booked for the next 3 weeks, the receptionist squeezed us in the next morning once I explained the urgency. Despite being squeezed into his already full day, Dr. Patel was patient and took his time with us. He explained everything so well and was able to revise my sons tongue/lip tie that morning. Wonderful doctor and staff!

He is a great doctor, he has helped me out a lot with my ears and throat! but when i had my tonsillectomy done it went fine until 2 weeks later I needed to get one last check during school and since I had already missed a week of school I had all straight Fs and i am in middle school so its hard to make up all of the work!!!!!!!! So we went into the doctors office and then we waited at least 30 minutes before they called me in, and yes that does not seem like much but when they called me in the took my weight, height, blood pressure, ect. and they said he will be in shortly I dont know if what shortly means because me and my mom missing valuable time of school and work sat in there for straight 2 hours until we finally got up and left because i feeling fine and it was not at all worth the wait!!!! Patel is great but he is slow! you know it makes since to get like the 5-10 minute patients a okay good or come back or what ever then have them wait for 2 hours while doing 2 patients for every hour! THAT SO DUMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALL HE NEEDED TO DO WAS TOO LOOK AT MY THROAT AND EARS AND SAY WHAT HE NEEDED TO SAY AND THEN HAVE US LEAVE IN THE NEXT 10 MINUTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT NO BECAUSE TO HIM WAITING TO HOURS FOR SOMETHING THAT IS MAYBE 5-10 MINUTES LONG IS NOT EQUAL OR EVEN COMPARABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Patel is amazing. We went to him for a 2nd opinion for our daughter battling ear infections despite having tube and adenoid surgery months ago.We had a minimal wait time and everyone from the front desk to the nurse checking us in were very kind and attentive to our needs.Dr. Patel knew immediately what our issue was and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you for being so gentle with our girl and making us feel charged back up to get this under control. Definitely recommend this pediatric ENT to EVERYONE!

Doctor was great, other staff are complete idiots. They called in the wrong prescription after forgetting to call it in. Then the lady who called me was so incompetent it makes me scared for their other patients. She questioned what the dr had told me he was going to call in. Will not go back there!

Not recommending at all. Refused to give an appointment for my daughter for the reason of not accepting new patients, while online at the portal its says they accepting new patients! No credibility at all. Extremely rude appointment customer service, they need to develop the areas of respecting customers and customers satisfaction. They are supposed working to serve us not the opposite. This experience gonna create a bad word of mouth.

Both my children have been going to him since they were babies. I refuse to see anyone else. He has done a excellent job with my oldest Sons 3 surgeries as well as pin pointing the issue with allergies. My son ALWAYS gives Dr. Patel a hug everytime he sees him. We absolutely LOVE Dr Patel

Dr. Patel is a very good, skilled doctor and spends adequate time with each patient, but there are other good, skilled ENTs in the Tampa area. I just have to echo another comment that he is Extremely Slow and he shows absolutely zero concern for the time he makes patients wait to be seen. He needs to accept that he is deliberate and needs additional time with each patient and space out his appointments accordingly. It is typical to wait 45-60 minutes to be called back and then wait much longer to see him after a nurse sees you. He may be 5-10% better than other ENTs but it’s not worth the waiting every single time you visit the office. Do not plan on being anywhere else on time if you have an appointment at his office.

Great Dr. very personable, nice and great with my daughter, so why only 1 star. Because I got billed $1600.00 for simple hearing test. Never assume, always ask.Dr. Patel refereed my daughter for a hearing test to St. Joseph (Dr. Sparakus) that billed me for over $1600. Although Dr. Patels office isnt the one that billed me this outrageous bill for what should have been a $20 copay type of visit, I do partially hold him responsible from the standpoint he referred me there and both St. Joseph and his office both conformed he referred many patients there for that proceedure. St. Josephs also stated they bill this way (out patient hospital) each time so for this general hearing test and that my bill was not a mistake or an anomaly . So I have a hard time believing Paterls office didnt know St. Joseph were billing people $2000 hearing tests bills. Dr. Patel did try to call St. Joseph and clarify why the bill was so high, but again if I were refer one of my customers to someone that really mistreated them or over billed them or whatever, I try to make things right because I feel partially responsible for it since I am the one that referred them.Dr. Patel knowing I got stuck with close to a $1000 bill for something as simple as a teeth cleaning, should have at the very least called me tor something, but he did not do so.I made the horrible assumption of #1 trusting my doctors offices both Patels office and St. Josephs (Dr. Sparakus). #2 mistake was to assume that after I myself got the same hearing test 3 weeks prior (billed as in office specialist) and billed a 20$ co pay, that my daughters exact same test would be billed that same.The lesson I am trying to pass on here is never trust any Dr. office, always ask what is being billed prior to service, dont ever assume. Wether they knowingly over charge or unknowingly,. Whatever the case dont assume or trust, ask questions, know what you are going to be billed. Be careful when going to BayCare

Amazing doctor and staff. Yes the wait time is sometimes long; however, thats because Dr. Patel takes the time to speak with each patient. I drive an hour to see him. Highly recommended.

More than 5-Stars!!!!!Words can’t express the graditude that we have for Dr. Nalin Patel. He performed a surgery to help correct a surgical error, for our 14 year old son, which was caused by another ENT ten years ago. No physician have I EVER met is as patient and thorough as Dr. Patel. He was extremely polite, friendly, seemed genuinely concerned, discussed the sugery expectations in length, and answered all of our questions. On the surgical day, we spoke face to face with Dr. Patel three times and he called by phone two additional times to check on him. Dr. Patel WELL exceeds a five star rating and our expectations. I will say, based on our experience the staff is difficult to reach by phone at times, the staff is not perfect, and there are scheduling appointment issues and long appointment times. I am assuming that this is related to the HIGH demand of happy patients making appointments, and the length of time he spends during appointment times. Having said that, regardless off the office issues, we will continue to see him for ALL of our pediatric ENT needs!! I would not comprise my child’s care for anything ever again!!!

DR Nailin Patel is rude and arrogant , he was rushing me at my sons appointment today , I had to ask Dr Patel do you have a minute to answer my questions ? He was walking towards the door in the exam roon. His answers were the worst . He doesnt like when parents do research and learn . He even said that after a tongue tie there no after care when there are excersices that must be done poor skills . I guess he rush patients because the insurance company doesnt pay the money that he needs. When I ask him well dr I use apple cider vinager and contain yeast he said I dont care what you eat with aptitud. He has a problem with time . When ask him to show me in his computer a normal tongue instead he asked my son to lift his tongue instead of showing me the difference what to say not a good doctor . Only the nurses are good.

Dr. Patel is thorough, kind, patient, and incredibly concerned with his patients overall well being. Becky is feiendly, helpful, accessible and professional. The rest of the staff is awful, especially the receptionist.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Patel. My 5 month old son has GERD and my son was referred to him after a high IGE score on some blood work. Dr. Patel identified my sons reflux issue as allergies after a scope/ scratch test. Dr. Patel promised by eliminating the offending ingredients in his formula within two weeks, I would have a new baby. I have to say, I didnt believe him after countless doctors, specialists,x-rays, hospital stays, etc.2 weeks later, I have a happy healthy baby boy who is now almost completely off of medication. Dr. Patel is seriously a miracle worker.

Dr Patel is great. The administrative staff are not. Rarely have we been able to call and get anyone on the phone. We had been recommended to Dr. Patel and my son underwent allgeey testing and received his second set of injections but we were told that without a new epi-pen we would not be able to receive additional injections. Our pharmacy at MacDill Air Force base write on the prescription that there is a nationwide shortage of epipens. I notified the office and they said they knew about this but some patients were abile to get the pens. They suggested Publix, Walgreens, Walmart and CVS pharmacies. I called all of them. No one has the epicene and no one knows when they will be available in the future. The admin people will not answer the phone after multiple calls nor will they return messages. I only hope they are informing Dr. Patel about this problem. My hope is that both Dr. Patel and other patients will be informed by my review. Thank you.

Dr. Patel exceeded my expectation for a pediatric ENT. I found him after visiting other ENTs and not being happy about their suggestions. Dr. Patel did an excellent job at explaining what needed to happen. He took his time and in my opinion went above and beyond in his effort to help my husband and I feel comfortable about the procedure that needed to be done to my child. I would recommend Dr. Patel to anyone looking for a Pediatric ENT in the Tampa Bay area. His office staff is also great.

My son has been going to dr. Patel for about a year for allergies and bloody noses. He always comforts my son and spends quality amount of time with us and answers all of my questions and concerns.

VERY ANNOYED! trying to get info about my bill and have been hung up on twice now! Im wanting to pay my bill and cant even get someone on the phone! ugh!
