My husband and I both had great experiences here. We had some difficulties in the past finding good eye care and are thrilled to have finally found a place we want to go back to. The visit was wonderful from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and so nice to interact with. The doctor was very personable and made us feel comfortable both with his demeanor and his competence. The exam was thorough and each part was explained as to the purpose and what it showed. He listened to my concerns about my discomfort with previous contacts and provided some trial ones to test out before ordering, which already feel so much better than what I had before. The entire experience was absolutely lovely.

I found making an appointment to be effortless. They took proper precautions to make me feel safe during these covid times. The selection was vast and I was able to find two pairs that i truly loved. The service from the opticians, Maritza and Kaela, was impeccable. They assisted and provided truly helpful insight into what looked best on me. Dr. Bird was thorough and professional while making me feel comfortable with the procedures. Overall, my experience was fantastic and I can’t thank them enough.

Dr. Bird and his team are friendly, professional, and straightforward. I came in for a regular eye exam which was done very efficiently. Dr. Bird and the optician explained my results and insurance benefits thoroughly. There was zero up-selling, which I really appreciate. Theyre also still taking COVID precautions (appointments only, wearing masks).Cant ask for much more, theyre great!

I’m an avid Google review follower because folks usually don’t take the time to write reviews. I almost didn’t myself, but felt the need to with some of the others I’ve seen. Any negative review within the last year should really be reevaluated. We’re STILL in the middle of an ongoing pandemic. Have some grace because they certainly aren’t coming to your job (more likely your comfortable apartment/home) and nitpicking every single “wrong move” you make. Which are all relative, amirite?That being said I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This is only a few blocks from my office so this location is incredibly convenient. I scheduled my appointment with no issue online, and was seen promptly as I got there. I was going in and needed to leave with contacts that day, and Dr. Bird made sure that happened. Kaela fit the glasses I ended up choosing as well and did a perfect job, while Callen made sure to overnight my contacts to make sure I would get them before my trip.Thank you Visions Northwest, for a great experience.

Dr. Bird is the consummate professional: knowledgeable, caring, helpful and accessible. His staff reflects these same high standards and expectations. And the selection of frames and other accessories is great. I dont work downtown for 8 years now but I still have Dr. Bird as my eye doctor. Very highly recommended.

I had an excellent experience at Visions Northwest! I came in to update my prescription for lenses and contacts. Dr. Bird was helpful and understanding of my concerns with certain contacts and was very well informed on what he recommended, which turned out to be a better fit for me than my previous prescription. I also purchased a new pair of glasses during my visit and was assisted by one of the receptionists. They assessed my style and fit and then brought out a tray for me to try on. I have visited recently during the COVID Crisis and I was very impressed with how clean and safe the facility was for my visit, the smiles of staff and the knowledge of Doctor Bird to tweak my prescription and check my eye health. I had nothing short of an amazing experience here at Visions Northwest. I was treated with absolute respect and felt completely comfortable during the entire process. Dr. Bird not only gave me an incredible experience, he was also understanding of why I needed new glasses. He helped correct my vision, inform me of my options, suggest incredible options that worked out better for me in the end, and also eased my worry about my eyes. I walked out having an optometrist for as long as he is practicing at Visions Northwest. I then got my prescriptions and got to do a fitting for glasses. I would absolutely suggest anyone to go see Dr. Bird and will absolutely recommend him and his staff. I cant thank them enough for making my experience so great and I look forward to returning for yearly checks!

I had an excellent experience with Visions Northwest. The staff helping with frame selection were upbeat and helpful in sorting through the huge variety of styles to find the pair that feel and look right. More importantly, I found Dr. Bird to be very thorough, conscientious, and kind. When I found my new progressive lenses to leave me with sub-optimal vision (more than likely due to incorrect feedback I provided during vision testing), he re-tested me and provided new lenses at no additional cost to me. He did a thorough dilated eye exam, identified an abnormality not previously diagnosed, photographed it, reviewed it with another optometrist specialist, and phoned me subsequently to reassure me of its benignity. That’s the sign of a caring, conscientious health care professional. I recommend him and Visions Northwest highly.

Had a really good experience here! They were on my insurances recommended providers and so glad I went! The doctor was very nice, and answered all my questions. For the exam I was in and out very quickly, and the front of house team was super helpful when going through the hassle that is insurance. Lisa helped me pick out SUPER CUTE Tom Ford frames, and remembered me on a first name basis every time I walked through the door; she made me feel like I had a friend as a shopping buddy. They have a good mix of unique frames and staple frames. Their selection is on the higher end, but they work with you to get what you want IE you can split your payment if needed. I did not feel upsold at all, merely they were just trying to help me/ ask questions to figure out what I wanted and needed. I am definitely going to go back, and am excited to work with Lisa again.

My eye glass experience was very pleasant at Visions Northwest. I have a hard to fit nose and Dena was able to pick out a great frame. I had at least twelve picked out and they have a great selection. Very easy and no pressure!

Ive had a couple of eye exams at Visions Northwest and been very pleased with how attentive everyone in their office is. They do a great job of explaining everything so you know what theyre doing and why. Thanks for keeping my cruddy eyes in as good of shape as possible!

Absolutely a fantastic time. Callin (sp?) had all the paperwork ready for me to complete. The physician was on-time and very friendly. Rachel and I joked around while I tried on some great and unique frames. I walked out purchasing two frames. The lens work was exceptional. I wear progressives and Rachel showed me that Transition lenses change almost immediately (2 minutes tops - back in my day it took 15-10 minutes--and we liked it!). I ended up having all of my frames (8 total) get updated lenses.

While my mother was visiting out of town she got a severe eye hemorrhage. I sent her to my eye doctor at the Visions Northwest. Doctor Bird was able to see her without wait time during his lunch. My mother was very pleased with the care, assistance and diagnostic she received. The staff was friendly, the doctor gave excellent care, her concerns were answered and at the end she wasnt charged. I had a great experience at Visions Northwest. Everyone in the office was lovely to me, and Dr. Bird was kind, thoughtful, and took his time to give me a thorough eye exam while answering all of my questions. I found all of the staff there to be quite attentive, and I was happy to have so many frame options at different price ranges. I would definitely go back again.

I really dont like this place. I was recommended this business by a coworker, and Ive been very disappointed. When I went for an initial eye exam, the optometrist was not particularly welcoming or friendly. After Id finished my exam, I went to pick a frame and staff was very pushy about frames that I clearly said I didnt like. After placing my order, I came back in a couple weeks to pick up my new frames, and as soon as I put them on, I told the staff member that I was having a hard time focusing with the prescription. She insisted that it was correct and that I just needed to get used to the prescription. Ive worn glasses most of my life, Ive never had my vision get _worse_ when I put on new glasses. After explaining that it would be hard for me to adjust to the prescription when I couldnt even wear them without seeing double, she wrote in big letters in my file that *PT refuses to wear. Come on. Im not being belligerent, I honestly cant wear them for more than a few minutes before the prescription problem becomes too much. I will not be coming back to this business for my eyeglass needs. I will be finding a place that isnt going to act like Im being irrational when I cant wear a pair of glasses.

I saw Dr. Cannon. He was very kind and professional. I transitioned to some part time contacts and he and his staff were very patient and helpful to me while practicing putting my new contacts in and removing them. I love this office. They excel in all areas. Ive been coming here for 4 or 5 years and am very happy with the service and with my glasses.

I would give them a negative star if I could.I had a terrible experience at this unprofessional business. I went in here to buy contacts from them using my insurance to pay for them. About a year later I get a call from them stating that my insurance rejected the invoice and that I needed to pay out of pocket. I was laid off 2 months ago so the insurance company replied I was no longer working for my old company. I asked the billing department why they waited so long to bill the insurance company and the lady told me in a rude tone that they can bill them whenever they want too... If they were on top of it and billed them right away this wouldve never happened and my old insurance would have covered my contacts. Ive also tried contacting the billing department again to discuss payments and would leave my number for them to call me back and they never did, I called them 3 times. They also never sent me an invoice in the mail, but instead sent it to collections without notifying with me and now my credit is affected by it. I would never ever go here or recommend anybody to go to this unprofessional business.

Terrible bedside manner. Yeah, I have long eyelashes that can get in the way. I told the optometrist that the procedure he was doing was uncomfortable and irritating my eyes and he tried to make me feel like a bad guy for not letting him use his new gadget.He dilated my eyes and sat me in the _very bright_ sales / showroom while the drops took hold, saying it would be about 15-20 minutes. But they made me wait 45 minutes before finishing the procedure, during that time their staff tried to sell me frames multiple times after I told them I wouldn’t buy any that day. Absolutely terrible.Ill get my frames and lenses somewhere else, won’t be coming back, and will recommend my insurance remove them from preferred provider list.

They have hidden fees and add extra charges. When it was said and done, the frame was supposed to be 100, but there were 300 extra in hidden fees, and whats more, they dont even itemize the receipt. They just give you a bill and youre left wondering how a professional company could rip you off so well while looking you right in the face the whole time

Contact was giving em problems all day removed my contact to find that it was cut almost in half. half blind and starting to get a head ache I called Visions Northwest Told them what i needed and minutes later I had a comfortable contact in my eye and could go back to my work.

Stay away from this place. Not only are they overpriced ($500 for frames and lenses), they relentlessly tried to upsell me, and took twice as long to get my glasses as they said they would. 2 days after I got the glasses, the right arm fell off and neither of the screws holding the arms on will stay tight. Theyre garbage. To top it off, two months later, they called me and said that I hadnt paid the second half of my bill. This place is run by criminals at worst and idiots at best. My review only applies to buying glasses, I didnt have an exam there. Based on the rest of my experience, if I had, I would have left blind.

This business should not come up in a search for eyeglass repair. In fact, they will only repair what you bought there. Although there was an apology, and the sales floor guy was just the messenger, it was clear this shop is only for certain clients of a certain economic status.I guess Google should point me toward an overpriced quickie repair booth in the Westlake Mall (that doesnt appear to have paid their GoogleAd fees... sigh. or I should take better care of my value frames. LOL Still 2 stars.
