I scheduled an appointment and then was told that it wasnt in the system… wasted an hour of my time, very disappointed

In fairness, and for perspective: I have never given 5 Stars to any firm, since such reviews became useful (if legitimate).However, after their seamless resolution of two problems (including, one of my own making) I cannot justify giving this superb companys Seattle location less than 5-Stars, for all critical areas of consumer concern: quality, value, service, and support combined with flexibility; and a large, stellar collection of unique and proprietary, high-end Italian designer eyewear.I recommend them: highly.But not: wthout a reservation. Walk-Ins, are not available, See, Inc. requires appointments.

1. Lie to me,2. Charged me more than what the l should pay.3. Waited twice as long as I was told.4. Not answering phones after I find the evidence.I went to this store with my prescription highlights Hoya Anti Fatigue Hoya lens and clearly said I want to make the anti fatigue lens. But when I picked up the glasses, it’s not the Hoya lens and was told they don’t do this lens and will never charge for something they won’t do. (But they did charge me what they didn’t do)However, the invoice that printed to me and it was $224 with single vision lenses, polished edge blue light premium A|R and nose pad. But, my card was charged $259.2 which should include the anti fatigue lenses. They told me they have that service and charged me but now I was told they don’t do this kind of lens.I was told I should get my glasses in 3 weeks, but I waited almost 7 weeks to get it. I was in store March 13th but the glasses was shipped to store April 27th. I thought the special lenses took long but then it’s not the right lens!After I got back home I find my bank statement and find the difference between what I paid and what the invoice shows and I emailed it and wanted to call to make sure they received it. I called 8 times during the business hours, nobody answers, but my boyfriend use his phone to call, they answered...

Lindsay at SEE Eyewear (Seattle) was absolutely amazing. I reached out, virtually, looking for a pair of glasses that I tried on months ago in San Francisco, and all I had was a photo of the glasses -- no item / style number or name. She was incredibly responsive and helpful -- asking me to send the photo, finding the glasses and ordering them for me all in 1 day. Im so grateful for her support and she was a joy to work with. The buying process was enjoyable. Okay selection of frames. However the pair of glasses I bought from them broke only after a few months of wear. It was a metal frame that broke right along the bend of the frame. This suggests to me that either it was made of bad quality material or the manufacturing process is poorly done. The glasses were not sat on or have a book fall on it like the general manager suggested happen. Really did not appreciate his dismissive attitude towards me. Saying that things may happen to my glasses without me knowing about it, like theres something magical creature that breaks glasses. I would notice if a book fell on it.If you need a cheap pair of glasses and dont have a strong prescription that requires the thinnest lense then this place may be good for you. Otherwise expect to replace the frame regularly.

This was my first visit, but it won’t be my last. The store has a large selection of reasonably priced, stylish frames. The opticians/staff were friendly and helpful, offering suggestions and opinions (when asked) without being pushy or saccharine. Greg, the manager, spent a lot of time with us, describing newer technology in lenses and helping to negotiate the best value for our purchases. Overall, an excellent experience.

This was the best and most fun experiences seeing the eye doc and getting glasses. They have a lot of fun and unique frames. Greg and Raven were really helpful and patient with my annoying insurance. Im super excited about my new glasses!

I went in and let them chose frames they thought fit me and I took a chance to some wooden blue ones. I’ve got to say, they’re the best glasses I’ve ever worn! I constantly get compliments! And they fit impeccably well 🤓

Excellent customer service from Liz and Lindsey on 2 separate days. We were visiting Seattle from Los Angeles and needed minor repairs on our sun glasses. These ladies were so kind to go above and BEYOND the expected repairs we needed. We really appreciate your work ethic and your kindness. Thank you so much for taking care of our sunglasses.

Im not a regular customer as I was just visiting Seattle for a conference. My readers were about to fall apart and lose an earpiece as a screw was working its way out. Super nice staff, very helpful, fixed it right away and made sure the other screw was right too. These guys and gals are awesome!

I wont recommend this place to my friends. as I have very bad experience. I visited them on December 2019, Their doctor recommend me two eyeglasses ( Reading and Regular) I got the eyeglasses in about two weeks, but I was not happy with the reading one as they missed up the measurement, I went them back and they toke two weeks to fix it, but still was not the correct one, And the third time I retook the test and it’s almost three weeks from now but still I haven’t get the eyeglasses back. Good selection of trendy frames (not me) small selection of plain Janes. The staff were all friendly and Cody helped me pick out a pair of titanium progressive lenses. Im very happy with the exam and services here so far.

I absolutely LOVE SEE! I wish I could shout this from the rooftops even more than this! They have an ever changing selection of super fashionable glasses and sunglasses, with an even selection of male, female, and unisex frames. Pretty much every one of their frame styles comes in multiple colorways. So if you find a look you love, but want it in a different color...there are tons of options. And if you see a frame on their website that they dont have in store, the SUPER helpful staff will scour all their stores across the country to find it, and have it shipped to the store just for you to see if you like it...you dont even have to buy it for them to do this!!!I personally own 3 pair of SEE glasses and 1 pair of sunglasses. Im usually in the store once a month just to see what is new. Their prices are so reasonable (especially if you jump on the Groupon) that most of the time I dont need to use insurance for the frames or lenses. Plus, Liz (who is the best!) always takes really good care of my wife and I when we find a pair that we cant stop thinking about. I absolutely cannot say enough good things about the high level of customer service Liz provides. She gives super honest opinions about how frames look on you, but does not try to sell you anything just for the sake of a sale (they dont work on commission). But Liz isnt the only reason we love SEE...everyone in the store is fantastic! Greg, the manager, even designed one of the coolest travel cases for multiple pairs of glasses, which SEE decided to produce and sell in all their stores!The quality of their frames is fantastic. Their lenses are great too, even if you have super terrible eyes like me. Theyll even put lenses in a pair of glasses youve bought from some other place other than their store! The ever changing selection of frames, colors, and styles is better than any other glasses shop Ive purchased from. Now it is true that you wont find any designer brands in their shop (everything is SEE branded), but you will absolutely find designer styled and quality frames.One of the best things about SEE is that if you buy 5 pairs of glasses and lenses, you get your next pair FREE!!! Im sooo close!If you have bad eyes, or love having multiple pairs of glasses but dont feel like paying a fortune, or if youre tired of the same pedestrian frames found in your big box stores...you owe it to yourself to come in to SEE and experience their fantastic store for yourself!

I used my medical benefits to get an eye exam at SEE Eyecare at the Seattle location in December 2018. Following the exam, I got my glasses done from a different merchant. The glasses were made per the prescription but were unwearable because as it turns out, the exam wasnt done correctly and the prescription as incorrect.I reached out to SEE Eyecare at the Seattle location and they asked me to comeback for a re-exam. I did go in for a re-exam and got a revised prescription on 01/05. I was hoping that the doctor would have gotten the eye-exam right the second time around. So I returned the first pair of glasses and ordered 2 pairs based on the updated prescription.I got both the pairs and it turns out that the exam wasnt done properly and my prescription is not correct after 2nd exam.I called the SEE eyecare location the 3rd time to ask for help. The person on phone - Raven - was rude, extremely unhelpful, kept telling me how it is my fault for not getting glasses made from SEE and hung up on me. When I asked if SEE can release my 2018 eyecare benefits so I can get the exam done from elsewhere, she said the doctor has already been paid and they wont refund me.Now I am stuck with 2 pairs of glasses that I paid for and I am not eligible for another eye exam until December 2019 with no help from anywhere. I keep thinking WHY did I decide to go to SEE Eyecare instead of another doctor and regretting my decision.

The manager, Greg Parsons, was absolutely FABULOUS!!!!! The whole staff was friendly, I loved the setup of the store. Im very slow to pick out eyewear & did not feel like I was being rushes or that he was impatient with me in any way. Hes so wonderful at multitasking that the store ran smoothly around us as he focused on me. I will definitely be back & highly recommend this shop to everyone😁Gwynn Conwell

This place is expensive and theyll try to get you to agree to upgrades without telling you that it costs you extra money. Dont let them sell you on glare coatings and other garbage.They try to hide the shoddiness of the glasses by keeping a very fashion forward selection but as a result its hard to get glasses there without looking like RiFF RaFF or Elton John.Dont get fooled you can buy Versace frames with polycarbonate for what I paid on a generic set of crudely machined generic titanium frames. Dont take my word for it, google it.

A good selection of fashionable frames. Lizz and Lindsey are very good eyewear specialist. SEE have a new concept in eyewear. They only sell one brand of frames (See brand). And they only make so many of each frame. Kinda cool but be careful some of the cheaper frames are, lower quality Chinese ones. I did have a problem with the very unfriendly manager BUT they did end up helping me out. SEE is worth a look 😜.
