1st time visiting this office for a routine cleaning. I requested no X-rays but was pressured into getting them. I assumed they would be the standard X-rays included in my routine visit through my insurance. Well they did extensive xrays that my insurance doesnt cover. I was then billed for that amount. I dont appreciate being pressured into the X-rays, and then being charged, or at least not being told there would be a charge. And they couldnt care less when I called them to discuss it.

I’ve been going to UDA for 7 years, and I love the staff and doctors. They have a great sense of humor and I have such a good time. They’re also excellent with my young daughter. I’d highly recommend them to anyone!

A practice is measured by their staff and this place is awesome. Jasmine at the front desk greeted me and made me feel welcome. Drew was amazing, I had a blast talking about the kids. Jennifer gave me the best deep cleaning and educated me on the process. I will come here from now on for all my dental needs!

Dr. Patel did a core buildup for a problem tooth. He explained the procedure well. Also, he gave me numbing medicine so that I didnt feel any pain during the procedure. I am very pleased with my experience.

I am so disappointed in University Dental Associates. They have promised us a refund for an overcharge since January and 9 months later, we still do not have it.They billed the wrong company location for BCBS and had the claim denied initially. I corrected the issue and then they were overpaid as we had already submitted payment back in October.I have called repeatedly, emailed and even sent USPS mail but none of this has resulted in the refund check.They have always had issues with insurance but we loved their dental hygienists. The company culture seems now is to fire long term employees who act in the best interest of their patients and ignore customers.My whole family were patients for years but this is unacceptable and we have found a new dentist.We will not give up on getting the refund. My mom is a widow on a fixed income and needs her money. These people should be ashamed of how they have treated us.

The entire team at UDA makes having to deal with all things dental, and pleasant experience.

Mrs. Sue is the best ever. The young lady at the front desk is also the best ever! Apologize for not knowing her name for recognizing her.UDA should be very thankful for having two outstanding individuals that genuinely care about their customers. Again I thank them for always making my experience there enjoyable.

Ran like a business and they really do not care about you. I used to go here and now have a true emergency but am told sorry, you havnt been back for so long now we cant see you, call someone else.

Have been going to UDA - Campus North for 10 years now. Sue Hayeslette, my hygienist is AMAZING! Germaine, at the front desk is FANTASTIC! All of the dentists are FABULOUS! Great experience and highly recommended!

Very friendly and efficient staff. Have been going here for a few years now and very happy with the level of care. Technicians extremely knowledgeable and give great advice on how to care for my teeth. Definitely recommend.

I had similar problem with insurance as others mentioned. Spent hours on phone resolving issue. My insurance said that claim was wrongly submitted by office. Meanwhile, the office cancelled my appointment without mortifying me and as a result I missed my 6 month cleaning. They cancelled my appointment because insurance claim is now denying claim since they took to long to submit. The office was very unprofessional in their response and handling the situation.

I have been using UDA for over a decade and love it so much that I continue to use an inconvenient location even though Ive moved! The staff is super friendly and competent (especially Sue and Germaine); the dental and hygienist staff anticipate issues with teeth and gums before its too late. The only complaint that I can come up is that Saturday hours would have been more convenient for me yet I dont remember anyone telling me that they now have Saturday hours.

Having relocated from Ohio to North Carolina, I was concerned that I would have to begin a long tiresome search for a Dentist that met the standard of care of which I am accustomed. University Dental met and exceeded that standard of care.Germaine manages the front office with such professionalism, friendliness and knowledge of insurance and claims, in addition to scheduling. With everything Germaine does, she still always has time for a friendly conversation or chat. As soon as you walk into the office, you are greeted and made to feel at ease.The entire staff is friendly to everyone and very detailed in their work. I feel that they are truly dedicated to their positions and execute their duties with pride, precision and professionalism.My Dentist, Dr. Yu is simply fantastic! Dr. Yu reviews your history and plan of care making everything very easy to understand and is such a caring person with a perfect dental chair/bedside manor.I have, and will continue to recommend new patients to University Dental for complete and competent dental care in the Raleigh area.University Dental - Thanks for all you do!David J

The experience I had at University Dental Associates has to be the best dental experience that I have ever had in my life. All of the staff from the front desk, to the dental assistant, to the dentist, to the hygienist were all very kind. The whole experience definitely removed any anxiety that I had about going to the dentist. You will notice positivity right off the bat when you call to make an appointment (especially if you talk with Jermaine). She went above and beyond to walk me through the insurance process of getting my insurance switched over to make University Dental Associates my primary dentist. I was worried after moving to Raleigh from out of state that I would have to search for awhile to find a good dental office. Lucky for me I found my office on the first try.

UDA Campus North is a great place to get dental work done. I had my temporary crowns and permanent crowns put on at this location. The staff from the front desk to the dentist are all friendly with a sense of humor but most of all professional. You can really feel that they really care about doing it right the first time. I had a bad childhood experience with dental but since I’ve been to these locations I’ve not had fear yet. I recommend UDA Campus North.

Not many people enjoy going to the dentist. I come not only for my teeth but to see Sue,Germaine and the other staff members. Sue is the best hygenist I have ever had. enjoy sharing updates on our families . Dr.Percell is wonderful. Keep up the great work.

Something has changed.... My review on this dental office is mixed. When I first started going I was very impressed and referred many friends, family and co workers. Then my daughter got bills MONTHS after her visit that had not been filed with insurance and this office was aging the amount due. A co worker had a similar experience. Then my co worker tried to call to pay her bill and was told system down call back and she had to call three times before getting a human. I called to cancel an appt had to leave a voicemail.. did not hear back. Called office again and got voicemail again.. Just got text reminding me of appt I cancelled --tried to call again and once again cannot get a human. So, I took screen shots of my phone and the time I called in case they try to bill for a no show.... Now I do think Sue Hayslette is one of the best hygienists I have had -- so theres that!

This clinic deserves 5 star or more. The staffs are really polite, friendly and accommodating.

Vicki Asch is absolutely one the best dental hygienist...in my book The Best!Ive been going to this practice for approximately 19 years..and mainly because of her (Spring Forest Rd, Raleigh). She is very paitent, consistent, caring, gentle, focused, knowledgeable and most importantly very experienced and customer service oriented. She genuinely cares for her customers overall oral health which is rare these days.Going to the dentist is definitely not my favorite by far, but Vicki Asch makes it a pleasure....to the point that I see her for service that surpasses the times allotted by most insurance companies (by my choice). I will not let anyone else clean my teeth. If she goes on vacation, I reschedule.Ive recommended lots of others and they feel the same way about her too!She is definitely an ELITE in her industry and UDA is lucky to have her on their team.Do yourself a favor....Go see Vicki!
