This visit was for a cleaning, x-rays, and checkup. Susan has been my dental hygienist for over 25 years. She does a great job and has never cause me any pain whatsoever. Kim is very efficient in taking x-rays. I have been seeing her for over 15 years. Dr. Vice is easy to talk to and does a great job letting me know what’s going on with my teeth. He doesn’t try to talk me into extra procedures, so when he says I need something, I’m confident that it’s necessary. It may sound strange to say I enjoy going to the dentist, but I really do look forward to seeing this team. It’s always a pleasant experience.

Sunrise is amazing. The staff are quite caring and friendly, and it’s a very comfortable place to have dental work done. One lady took x rays as part of my care package, and was so nice. The lady who cleaned my teeth did a great job, was also very nice, and even let me know the importance of flossing in my daily regimen, which I admitted I’d been slack about. They have a tv on during the work as well, which I never complain about. Ultimately I’m very glad to have chosen Sunrise as my dentist office.

The procedure of X-rays, cleaning, explaining of examination was thorough and understandable. The facilities were clean, organized and spacious. The checkout carried the same flow of recognition.

My husband was suffering some severe tooth pain Wednesday evening. I wanted to make sure he was seen promptly and quickly as he was in immense pain. Luckily, the team at Sunrise was able to schedule an emergency appointment first thing Thursday morning. They were accommodating and made him feel instantly at ease about being there. The front desk and dental staff made him feel welcome and he signed up for treatment that very day. Fast forward a few days, and my husband is feeling much better. He is finally able to eat solid foods again, and we credit the staff at Sunrise for making this possible. I would recommend anyone to the Sunrise dental team as they took great care of my husband.

Worst experience I have ever had at a dental office! Over the last 6 months I have had multiple services done here. I pay my bill when I walk out in full right away every time. Over these 6 months the money aquated to over $5,000 dollars. I would always ask as Im leaving the office if I am officially paid up and they would always asure me the bill was paid in full. This is where my issue comes in. While I understand that insurance can be maxed out and you are left to pick up the difference, my true issue is with how they go about handeling it.I received a phone call from them saying I had an appointment for a second cleaning through my insurance which would be free. I did not recall making an appointment but I took off work and went in at 8am on a Monday anyways. This was a trick to get me in to pay an outstanding balance of $300 that I was not made aware of. This was just a way to get me into their office - I wouldve happily paid the bill if I had been made aware of it but they felt the need to trick me into coming in. As mentioned, I paid my bills with them every time in full and this was completely unnecessary on their end. Once I pay the bill, they walk me towards the back to get my cleaning done, I decided to confirm if my cleaning would be for free. They said no we will have to charge you $100.00 for it as its not coverd. I was almost tricked into getting another service done with them. I am done with this foresaken place and will never come back. I recommend you do the same.

Wait time minimal. Staff pleasant and efficient. Very friendly. Procedure was done without fuss, bother, and most importantly, without pain. Have recommended Sunrise Dental to friends in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

I just had my regular cleaning with Sunrise Dental Raleigh. My hygienist did a thorough and excellent job with the cleaning. Covid-19 protocols (temperature check, masks, hygienist wearing PPE) were being observed. Ive already scheduled my next appointment!

Dr. Vice and his staff did an excellent job removing my impacted wisdom teeth. The experience was as comfortable as can be and the team was very friendly, caring, and accommodating to my needs. I was in and out in under two hours, and very happy with the decision to only use local anesthetic. The procedure was pretty much painless, with only minimal discomfort in the following days. I am glad I waited to find a dentist I felt comfortable with. 100% recommend!

Check-in was quick and wait time was extremely minimal. Assistant and hygienist were excellent. Had deep cleaning performed and it went as well as a deep cleaning can possibly go. That being said, I was in minimal discomfort afterward and would highly recommend Sunrise for any dental procedure.

After recently bringing two of my children to Dr. Vice to have their wisdom teeth extracted, now it was my turn in the chair for a consultation about my own teeth. It was another great experience with easy scheduling, very attentive and friendly staff, and quality advice by Dr. Vice. He took the time to answer all my questions even though I could tell the office was busy, and he recommended that I dont need a procedure that would cost quite a lot. Dr Vice is magic. He removed all 4 of my wisdom teeth, including an infected one, in literally 11 minutes. He was friendly, personable, and makes a point to help anxious patients feel comfortable. Have been with Sunrise Dental since 2005. Everything has always been first rate from the welcome at reception right through to the treatment. Staff are friendly and efficient, level of attention and preventative care is excellent.

This was my first visit to Sunrise and I have a dentist in my family who has taken care of my dental needs since I was a child. I can comfortably say Sunrise will be my Raleigh Dentist. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very transparent in helping me understand what they were seeing from their evaluation and what they felt was a necessary step forward. As is the norm, my visit to Sunrise DDS (Dr. Dirk Vice) was excellent. From sign in - to initial seating (Kim) - to cleaning (Susan) - to consultation (Dr. Vice), everything happens like a well oiled machine. The difference between this practice and a machine? These folks have personality, and genuine interest in me as a patient. Even the quick “pop-in” hello from an Assistant who worked on me with Dr. Vice previously (Katie) helped to make my visit seem more personal, and that I’m more than just another set of teeth. Great staff! :-)

From the moment we walked in to the office, we were greeted by the friendliest staff member who checked us in. My daughter is 4 and was anxious about her visit. All of that anxiety went away when this staff member took her around the waiting room, showing her the fish tanks and toys. It didnt stop there. Once back in the chair, the hygienist and dentist were equally as friendly and pleasant. No tears, no anxiety. Just cool, calm and collected. Would definitely recommend!!

They treat you like family. My wife has had some bad experiences with other Dentists but has never had any issues with Sunrise. We will keep coming back there for all of our dental needs. Ive been getting routine oral care at Sunrise since it opened and just had to have 3 old filling replaced. I gotta tell you - I was a little anxious because its been 20 years since Ive had any real work done with my teeth. Theres no need to worry here, what was I thinking? Everyone at Sunrise is professional and personable and they run a tight well-oiled machine! I never have to wait around for my appointments and am always treated with the upmost respect and kindness. Best Dental Office in the Triangle- I have been to several dentists around the triangle- Dr. Vice and Sunrise Dental is far and away the best. A very pleasant, courteous staff; I honestly did not even feel when he gave me a shot to give me a filling; and a very detailed treatment plan for future visits was nice. One of his dental assistants, Katie, is honestly so nice she will actually make you not dread going to the dentist. She is such a breathe of fresh air you will want to punch yourself in the mouth just to have a reason to go back! Seriously though they did a great job all around and I would highly recommend them.

I had an extraction done. My Doctor did the best application of Novocaine Ive even experienced and Im 61 years old. Careful, gentle and precise, I got 4 shots with almost no discomfort. Ive had 2 extractions in the past, and even though this one was a molar in the back of my mouth, it was removed so smoothly that I didnt know he was finished when the job was done. Ive been to 7 different dentists in Raleigh over the years, and I wish I had found Sunrise Dental first. They are the best.

I love this office. I have a huge fear of the dentist, working with Dr. Vice and his team has been great. They understand my fear and make sure I’m comfortable and ok. The nitrous oxide helps aid in keeping me calm. The procedures I’ve done I expected to be in pain,but it’s been very minimal and not much discomfort at all. Glad i found this office, I wish I had started with them sooner.

Dr. Vice replaced two 20+ year old crowns on my upper front teeth, added crowns/veneers to the teeth on either side, and performed a gingivectomy from eye tooth to eye tooth in one sitting. Yes, the appointment was lengthy. However, the crowns were made in-office, no temporary crowns or second appointment needed. This made the one longer visit worthwhile. Again, the staff was very polite and attentive. I do have to single out Carla for her exceptional care and work with Dr. Vice on this visit. Great team!Will be back in a few weeks for my routine cleaning with Susan, and I know I will receive more great care! Highly recommend Sunrise to anyone who values high tech dental care provided by a great team.

Getting a crown is a complicated procedure! Dr. Vice and his assistant, Carla did a great job making an uncomfortable process bearable. I was impressed with the high-tech process of creating the new crown. Doing everything in-house meant that I only needed one appointment. I hope I dont need another, but if I do I know I will be well-treated.

I had my first visit @ Sunrise yesterday and cant say enough positive about my experience. I made the mistake and had the wrong time, but not only were they able to fit me in, they were so friendly and took their time to ensure I had a thorough cleaning and complete dental plan. Love these guys!

I was a patient at Sunrise Dental for over eight years. I had decided to get Invisalign in Dec.2017. Everything was great up until April when I was told back in March 2018 that I could get my trays mailed to me since I was working out of town. Never got any trays, I contacted them in Sept.2018, they told me I would have to come back in for a rescan and that I owed a balance. I understand the balance part, but why would I continue too pay for service that Im not getting? I will never go back to them and I could careless if they dont want me back. Ive always paid out of pocket for my dental work. Ill take they $2,000 as a lost. Now, I have these ridges that they put on my teeth that I will pay another dentist to take off!!!

Woke up at 2:30am in severe pain from a tooth infection and called their emergency number for the doctor on call. Ive never been here but the dentist who answered immediately cared about me and called me in some antibiotics and told me how to manage the pain until i can be seen tomorrow. Im already amazed at the service and will definitely recommend yall to everyone! Thank you for caring and helping me.

Ive been taking my family here for years, since my now-grown boys were in elementary school. They are always, without exception, welcoming, easy-going but professional, and above all else they are excellent at what they do. My husband is getting extensive work done over a period of years, and they have always been great about laying out what to expect and working with our insurance company. I just started Invisalign with them, and it has been a painless process because of their attention to detail.

This was an easy dental appointment as I only needed a cleaning. Susan did an excellent job that was pain free as well as stress free. Felt very welcomed by the staff from receptionist to the checkout person.

It is very hard to be happy about a dentist appointment but when you love the people there and they way you are treated it makes it so much better!

I got a restoration crown on a tooth that it was not bothering. The crown they made does not fit right, it’s too big for the space, and the food get stuck around the crown. It’s also painful. I am very unhappy with this crown I will need to get a better fit somewhere else. Also the staff that answer the phone are very unfriendly and unhelpful.

Ive been going to doctor Vice for several years for basic cleaning and exams to extractions, old implant removal, done by another dentist in 1988, and another implant put in to include a bone craft. Every step of every procedure was explained to me in advance including the pricing. DR Vice and his staff are very friendly, courteous and professional.
