The dentist is already a pretty uncomfortable place to visit. However, while visiting Smiles at Glenwood, their professionalism and careful consideration for detail made the visit that much more enjoyable. The whole time I felt like I was in good hands. The women I spoke to took their time with me and made sure I understood what was going on. I could feel the years of experience and the seriousness with which they took their profession. Through small gestures, they would do things like: provide me with Vaseline for my chapped lips after they had to stretch my mouth out of proportion to get to my teeth. In all the years Ive gone to the dentist, none of them were so considerate. Thank you Smiles at Glenwood.

I have been going to this dentist office for 15 years. Everyone is very friendly and always going out of their way to really help you and provide the best care. Not only do they know dentistry very well but they are also very personable. I highly, highly recommend them.

The work was fine. The only thing I didn’t like was the time. My appointment was 8am & I was taken back shortly after 8am (no complaint there). But I didn’t leave the office until after 11am. I don’t think I’ve ever spent over 3hrs at the dentist office before. It was just too much & too overwhelming. I would have been there even longer had I not told them I have to go to work. I was supposed to work at 11am but ended up being an hour late. Again, the work was fine. But make sure you plan to stay there at least an hour or 2 longer than normal

Today was my first time at smiles at glenwood and I was impressed by the level of communication to me when relaying things dealing with my teeth and how nice the staff is. Smaller location so more intimate feeling which I’m a fan of. Won’t be going anywhere else! :)

Worst Painful Dental Experience Ever.Have you ever been accused of faking pain? I was refused pain medication my first time requesting it for visibly irritated wisdom teeth. As a matter of fact I was told I wouldnt be prescribed anything for pain after the extraction operation either.Thats not even the worse partWhile Im in the office, I practically have to beg her to prescribe me something better than ibuprofen for ONE day until the surgery. Finally I showed her a picture of my prescription from the day prior of Tramadol from an ER and She reluctantly agreed to prescribe me Tramadol to my relief.Well.. I get to the pharmacy and nothing... no pain medication, no explanation, no call, nothing.. I call the dentist and conveniently no one answers. I call the emergency line and... no answer. So of course I all spent of last night overwhelmed with pain, unable to sleep.And last thing, so I finally hear back the next morning from the doctor that told me she was putting the prescription in when I left. She tells me that it was deemed I wasnt in enough pain to get the medication... keep in mind, all I talked about was how much pain I was in at the office so she literally had to tell them otherwise. Also she claimed there was no prior record of me being prescribed Tramadol, when I literally showed her my prescription.At the end of the day, they only care about the money. She showed 0 empathy for the pain I was in and really looked like she was just ready to get to the next client. Ive never once asked for pain medication period and I was basically called a liar and to get over it.Oh and the Doctor from the ER the day prior had no issue prescribing the pain medication, obviously he could look at me and tell I was hurting. Id highly suggest going to a dentist that will put the well being of you and your family first over what solely benefits them.Getting my teeth removed tomorrow and the dentist assured me Id be given medication for the pain. Wow amazing.

Amazing! It has been a few years since I’ve been to the dentist, so there was some trepidation. However, from the moment I walked in the door I felt welcomed and safe. Carolyn and Dr. Belvett made me feel comfortable, they were honest, and we had fun! I look forward to continuing my health journey with this practice!

Extremely dissatisfied with customer service here. The new front desk lady is uncongenial and hard to communicate with. I went in for a biyearly cleaning and the hygienist (which is a new person each time) was unnecessarily rough while cleaning and damaged a band on my permanent, bottom retainer. I have had my band fixed here twice before this and this third time they expected me to pay again for the damage they caused. Would not recommend this dentist to anyone.

Today was my first visit to Smiles at Glenwood, and I can say it truly is a fabulous dental practice. Dr. Arrick is so kind, patient, and knowledgeable and I feel like I got the best dental care of my life here. They even checked for any neck or throat abnormalities in addition to my cleaning, x-rays, and 3D scan. I immediately scheduled my return visit and am even looking forward to it.

I will be making this place my dental home and switching my babies here too as long as I can keep dr Crocker (smiles)

I love Smiles at Glenwood. Dr. Arrick is professional, fast and painless. I also really like my hygienist and the people in the front office. They are warm and efficient. They also file insurance for you and make sure you are aware of your costs. Its also convenient to my workplace in downtown Raleigh.

Dr. Arrick and her team are really exceptional. I was really impressed with how meticulous Dr. Arrick was with my dental examination. Most dentist will spend a minimum amount of time examining a patient. Dr. Arrick was extremely detailed and took time to explain what she found. She also provided me with multiple of courses of action for treatment. Dr. Arrick has a lot of positive reviews on Google and Yelp, which I can personally validate to be true.

Just yesterday, , I found myself in the spot no one wants to be in: in pain with the weekend approaching. As a patient of record, I called and got a next-day appointment. Dr. Belvett gave a careful exam and was quickly able to diagnose the problem and remedy. I highly recommend this practice. Both Dr. Belvett and Dr. Arrick are great.

I began seeing Dr. Arrick when I moved here from Atlanta in 2008; I cant tell you how privileged I am to have found her practice! Dr. Arrick always keeps me informed and has taken so much time in developing a plan of dental care for me. I have a great deal of anxiety about being in the dentist chair and I often worry about the potential of experiencing pain. Dr. Arrick and her team understand this and they take the time to explain procedures and ensure the most comfortable environment possible. Today I had a filling with no numbing and I could hardly feel a thing....she was so gentle and talked me through the entire process; this is a wonderful practice with an incredible staff!

I was a patient at the practice for little over a year and recently left. The staff is great at Smiles but their overall business practices are not. It took some extra investigating that they hadnt notified me that they were actually out-of-network and had been charging exorbitant prices all along. Please make sure that this dentistry is within your network before stepping within their office. Deeply dissatisfied with the practice and will not recommend to friends.

Simply the best dentist office in town. I have been going there for years. They have almost no staff turnover and everyone knows you by name. I also dont think they have ever ran late for an appointment.

I first came to Dr Arrick office because I had a terrible crack in my old filling and need quick work on repairs, but I have stayed with the office since for any filling, crowning and cleaning. Always top notch service, and more than accommodating with my reschedules. I have never been told You have to get this, you have to fix that any work done (and when) is always on my own choice. I would definitely recommend to all my friends.
