This place is great! warm inviting staff the doctor is down to earth and personable Amy is awesome! My only suggestion would be some sort of aftercare instructions. My mouth was sooo numb for hrs i didnt know weather it was safe to eat,drink ,gargle or if i should just go to bed lol. But all in all everyone there was great!

Overall everyone here is very nice. I really appreciate the time the receptionist took to verify my quote for some work so I had the accurate number. However, I feel the dentists themselves are very pushy. The first visit I came in I was coming from a dentist who said I needed 18 crowns and was so grateful that was not true. Still, in both my previous visits these dentists have tried to set up me up to have my veneers replaced without them needing to be replaced. Last visit, I was told I need my filling replaced but the dentist also couldn’t tell whether I had multiple or just one filling in that tooth. Now I’m not even sure I need that filling replaced. Overall, very nice people but I am not 100% comfortable with their pushy sales methods.

I had not been to the dentist for almost 10 years when I decided to make an appointment at Tryon Family Dentistry, and I couldn’t be happier that I finally did it. Scheduling the appointment and supplying any requested information was easy to do through their online interface. My hygienist, Summer, was awesome! She was completely understanding of the fact that I hadn’t been in a long time and was careful to walk through the entire process before doing anything. At no point did I feel belittled for having skipped out on so many years of appointments, and I also felt no pressure to move forward with any particular treatment/followup after the initial cleaning. It was exactly what I was expecting: “here’s the analysis, here are the options, here are our recommendations; let us know what you want to do when you’re ready and we’re here to answer any questions”. Everyone I interacted with from the receptionist to Dr. Hamilton herself was friendly and informative.For anybody like me who hasn’t been to the dentist in a while and is feeling apprehensive, I would certainly recommend the Tryon Family Dentistry. You’ll be surprised at how much technology has changed over the years, too!

When I first came in the office I felt that everyone was nice and really wanted to help me fix my teeth. I was told one price and told they have payments plans for the rest so I went and give them the deposit of 7000 dollars they set a date for May 27 to get my work done i take off of work and get a ride to get there they say oh you have the wrong date and there must of been a miscommunication the date is June 10. So I took off for June 10 and this time I even call two days before hand to see if it really June 10 the lady answer the phone and told me yes with an attitude so I get there on June 10 with my ride that rescheduled his appointment so he can drive me and they tell me again sorry it Miscommunication and that they will call me with the new date no call later that day so I call them they give me a date of June 30. On June 29 they call and said we need $24,000 more dollars more before we can do your implants I said I wish I was told this from the begin instead of I would be on payments so I said well I don’t have that can I get my $7000 back and she said no because that how much your teeth cost that the lab made for you so I said well can I get the teeth then and she laugh and said no one ever ask us for the teeth which made me think they done this before. So now I am out of $7000 and no teeth I will never go here again I wish I could give it no stars.

Dr. Leo Haydt does it again!! He makes you feel comfortable with no worries. He pulled 3 of my 4 wisdom teeth yesterday. I was sedated and before I knew it the procedure was over. I’m up moving around this is day one after the procedure and I’m starting to feel normal with little to no swelling nor discomfort. Dr. Leo has also pulled a top molar of mine about two years ago I was awake and fully alert. He pulled it out in no time. I had the tooth removed two days before Thanksgiving lol I still ate everything so my recovery wasn’t bad. I enjoy coming here the staff is amazing very respectful very clean office with a positive atmosphere. I’ve been coming here I want to say since the end of 2017. Everyone makes you feel comfortable no matter what you’re having done. Never ran into any scheduling issues or none of that. I’ve had several teeth cleanings here and a few fill ins. Check them out you will not be disappointed.

I arrived, sat in my car for a moment or so, and then my hygienist met me in the parking lot to take my temperature before entering the dentistry. This along with other procedures made me feel safe going to the dentist right now. My cleaning finished early and the hygienist, Laura, was sweet and funny! Scheduling my next appointment was very easy at the end of the process. I was able to get all of this done before I started work this morning. They also use text alerts, which is convenient for my life style. Recommend for an efficient and good cleaning experience.

I had the great pleasure of being treated by Summer. She was extremely friendly and informative from start to finish. She was careful to explain each step in laymans terms, so that I could easily follow all of her professional observations. She was super gentle but very thorough with my cleaning. She worked hard to find an appointment that fit my schedule since I was traveling a distance. The office is clean and well cared for. Dr. Leo and his assistants (Amber and Chelsea) were very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. Dr Leo explained my treatment and made sure I was comfortable throughout my procedure. They provided me with home care instructions and the necessary prescriptions for after care. Their dental procedures and equipment seem to be state of the art. I especially loved the hot towel with essential oil at the end. It felt like a spa/wellness visit not dental work! I would definitely recommend them to everyone. If you are looking for a new dentist this is the place.

These folks are so great to work with. Ive had to reschedule appointments at times and they are always flexible and accommodating, they follow through and are always warm and outgoing. It is hard to schedule recent appointments, need to clean my teeth every 3 months but it difficult in this place to do that, I called today 23 August they said they only have openings in October, will find another place

The team at Tryon is always super friendly, thoughtful, and informative. Coming through COVID-times, I was slightly apprehensive about heading back to the dentist given the proximity of another person’s face to my face for the extended periods of time inherent with a cleaning. The Tryon staff’s approach, however, helped make me feel very safe. My hygienist, Laurie—who is awesome, was always wearing multiple pieces of well fitting and appropriately used PPE. The place was spotless, customer throughput was kept to a minimum commonly shared spaces, and additional health screening measures were in place.In 6 months, when it’s time for another cleaning, I don’t know that COVID will be gone (likely it won’t), but I do know that I’ll be confident in heading safely back to Tryon! Highly recommend.

Reviews are pushed. Place is mediocre. Location is in a rough looking area. Wouldn’t recommend the whitening kit. The trays they made for my husband didn’t fully cover his teeth. The Henry Schein natural whitening gel is AWFUL left both our teeth streaky. Ive been whitening my teeth for over 7 years and I’ve never seen that happen. Not worth the price. You can find a better place.

I’ve never really had that much of an opinion on my dentist but I love Tryon Family Dentistry. They make going to the dentist easy, they take a ton of different insurances and they offer additional services like NTI, at home sleep study, invisiline, etc. Dr. Leo is also the best! He’s so good and make you feel like he cares about you and your teeth. We started going to them because they were close to our old house, now we’ve moved further away but I’ll make the drive for them!!

They work with your schedules to make sure you receive the medical attention you need. It is a complete judgement free zone especially if dental care had to be postponed by COVID-19. I recently had cavities filled and the process was smooth and pain-free. Dr. Caroline and hygienist Amber, yes same name as me, checked in regularly to make sure I was comfortable throughout the whole procedure. Their conversations with me helped keep me distracted from the mild anxiety of having dental work done. The staff is professional and has done a wonderful job with keeping everyone safe in this high risk field from exposure. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a new dentist. I’m excited that Dr. Caroline has joined he practice as well! She is a wonderful addition to their team!

Scheduling was painless. I even appreciated the fact the front desk staff told me what my cost would be for my next appointment. HUGE plus for me! Every staff member was pleasant.
