I receive laser treatment for lichen planus. The treatment has lowered my inflammation better than any creams or injections Ive received from other facilities. The massage chair is very relaxing on the muscles. Anna is very polite and makes her clients feel comfortable.

Dr. Davidian was the first, out of a long line of TMJ providers, to actually listen to and empathize with all of my symptoms. Her office continuously educates me on my disorder, my treatment options, and what my life will have to look like going forward in order to successfully manage my symptoms, reduce pain, and prevent further injury. Staff are kind and helpful and the office is always clean and bright and welcoming. I am incredibly grateful to have been referred to her and would recommend highly to anyone who feels like they have run out of options with their teeth clenching, ear ringing, and jaw pain.

I’ve been suffering from TMJ for about 5 years and I’ve been to three other Speciality TMJ Dentists and two Orthodontists in Raleigh for treatment of my clenching and grinding, but Dr. Davidian is by far the best! She looks at my smile and analyzes my ability to open and close my mouth.The treatment is individualized to the patient; it is NOT just some cookie-cutter approach that every patient receives. She has been kind, knowledgable and caring - everyone in the office is just so nice. Don’t waste your money on the other local TMJ Dentists because I’ve already been there for you and I highly recommend this office over all the others!

The staff from the minute you enter the office are friendly, polite and COVID friendly. Dr. Davidian has circled herself with a truly caring group. So grateful of the various options I had for a specialist, this was the place I chose...simply the best!

This office is a waste, I drove 2 hours one way and took a day off of work after I paid my $50 consultation fee. Upon arrival I sat outside the office for about 30 minutes after my appointment. Once I finally checked in they said my payment of $350 was due, this was after my consultation which they said they would bill my insurance first to see if they covered it, which they didnt instead I was given false information and basically missed out on an appointment, wasted gas, 4 hours of my day, and also a whole day of work. I would not ever return or recommend anyone to go here. A bunch of crooks in my mind if you ask me. Plus to I was just out the $50 I paid for the consultation.

I have been dealing with pain TMJ pain for years. Dr. Davidian and her staff have been fabulous. They are very polite and professional. They go the extra step to make sure you understand what is happening and why! I would recommend Dr. Davidian to any with TMJ or facial pain! You won’t be disappointed.

I really wanted to go hear for my ongoing and worsening TMJ problems, but they are not in network with any insurance company. I dont know about anybody else but i can not just pay thousands of dollars out of pocket up front. Very upset. By no means I am not talking down on this place. Just upset i cant go is all

First note the long wait-times. I arrived at my set appointment time, then I waited a minimum of thirty additional minutes outside the office. Also, beware of the initial appointment/exam which is a minimum of $350 upfront with a $50 deposit requirement. Then.. I find out my diagnosis and recommendations which requires a minimum charge of $4,000. I ask if I can make payments. The response I received is, “We can accept half up front and the we require the remaining balance.” I was promised a detailed summary of my diagnosis/treatment which I never received? However, I can attest that, the initial appointment was very informative, but $4,000 for treatment/temporary relief?

I can’t say enough good things about my experience here. I came in as a last resort for a consultation thinking I would never solve my chronic jaw problems and I left with a complete treatment that fixed all my problems in one visit. Dr. Davidian was knowledgeable and empathetic. Highly recommend!

Excellent facility. Dr. Mueller has one of the best bed-side mannerisms I have ever seen in a Medical Doctor. And, he is a great oral surgeon!Plus his staff is friendly, very knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating. They worked extra hard to make sure Insurance pays!Definitely recommend!

Best experience at a medical office hands down.Everything about this practice was exceptional. The reception and waiting area were comfortable and put me at ease since the typical fluorescent queue room gives me anxiety.They also have a separate consultation room which I felt was the best way for me to express my issues. Talking across a table with Niki rather than from an exam chair was the best.Dr. Davidian was wonderful. From my experience most doctors look at you as a patient, a list of symptoms seeking solution, but she you in the eye and explained everything thoroughly.I have confidence that my treatment from Carolina TMJ will be helpful.Only note is that the lobby and door placard are not the same title as google.

I presented to Dr. Davidian and her staff with a TMJ crisis after seeing 5+ other providers. The staff is extremely responsive and are genuinely invested in the patients (shout out to Tessa). Dr. Davidian listened to my entire TMJ history, let me ask as many questions as I needed, was very knowledgeable and clear in her explanations, and her bedside manner/clinical skills are top-line. I could not have asked for a better office to work with, especially with the extensive safety precautions they are taking for COVID-19. If you are looking for anything related to advanced dental work, facial pain, etc., I will echo the rest of the reviews and 10/10 recommend.

I am so lucky I found this place! I walked in with intense neck and back pain due to my tmj. I really had no idea what to expect but after they made me a mouth piece that held my jaw in place the pain I had to live with for 10 years was completely gone! I can’t even say how much this has improved my quality of life. Everyone in their office is sweet as can be. I always leave happy and grateful. A true blessing.

She actually has a totally different diagnosis than I had been given by a TMJ Specialist and a TMJ Surgeon. The whole experience felt warm and welcoming from start to finish. Dr. Davidian and her team are fantastic! I have been going to them for several months for my TMJ treatment, and I finally have relief after years of pain. Prior to visiting Dr. Davidian I wore a night bite guard, which was actually causing me to clench at night and making my pain worse. At Carolina TMJ, they made me 2 new different appliances (day and night), which fit beautifully and help relieve my TMJ pain. Their examination and treatment plan is extremely thorough, and Tracy really cares about her patients. They are there for me if any issues arise and help me find solutions that work. I received excellent treatment and care at Carolina TMJ. Went in for TMJ related discomforts. Solved my pain with a daytime appliance. But, I was more thrilled with a diagnosis of mild sleep apnea and the night time mouth guard they had made for me. Its comfortable and I sleep so much better.

Dr. Davidian is wonderful! Ive suffered with TMJ for many years, got better, but then relapsed due to some dental work. She used her T-SCAN on my bite and fixed the problem.You do not have to have TMJ to have a bite imbalance. Headaches, ear pain, and facial pain, as well as some other symptoms, may be able to be relieved by getting a bite analysis and having problem teeth/crowns equilibrated.Our Triangle area is lucky to have Dr. Davidian.

I started having tinnitus in my ear a couple weeks ago, and after going to a couple doctors, I was so glad to find a specialist who knew how to examine and diagnose me. Dr. Davidian and her staff spent hours with me and gave me time to ask all the questions I had. I have just started the treatment plan she prescribed and am so thankful for her expertise and knowledge. They were so thorough in their examination of my symptoms, my story, etc., and I felt like they truly listened and took the time to understand what was going on with me.

The CPAP machine and I were not getting along, so I contacted Dr. Davidian about an oral anti-snore appliance. SO GLAD I DID! Devon and Dr. D carefully measured, molded and engineered a device that is so simple to use and it has stopped my snoring. I am sleeping about 7 hours a night without any snoring episodes. I am getting REM sleep and actually dreaming again. The entire office staff is very friendly and professional.

I always have a wonderful experience here even when Im in pain

I saw Dr. Davidian after my chiropractor recommended her for TMJ issues. I had been struggling with TMJ issues for over a decade including headaches, jaw pain, chewing issues, fatigue, and other issues. As a young professional, it was starting to effect my career path and everyday social life.I was surprised at my first visit, at the high level of detail that Dr. Davidian and her staff went into. This included scans, measurements, and recordings that we took of my jaw. This was by far the most in depth that any doctor had gone to diagnose my issues. We even eventually found out that I had moderate to severe sleep apnea, which was a new diagnosis for me. After receiving the sleep apnea diagnosis, many things started to make sense, including my daytime sleepiness and anxiety/ irritability levels.The daytime device helped push my jaw line forward. It was comfortable and easy to get used to, just a little bit of speech adjustment. I noticed decreased jaw pain, reduced swelling, and ability to talk/chew more effectively pretty quickly. The daytime appliance is only temporary, but I still use it for high stress situations and if I feel the need.The nighttime appliance fits over bottom/top teeth and pushes the jaw forward. After some adjustments, I noticed very deep sleep and waking up without feeling extremely tired. The combination of the two treatments really helped me to feel normal again. During a stressful time at work, I felt more awake and refreshed than I ever had before.For insurance, Anthem BCBS turned out to work very well at this practice. Even though they were not an in network provider, BCBS treated them as such due to the specialty of service and my physical need. This included Dr. Davidians staff sending test results and pre-approvals to insurance to make sure that they would cover the services.I am very thankful for Dr. Davidian and her staff. My overall quality of life is improved tremendously. A decade of pain and stress was eliminated in a few months.I highly recommend her practice for anyone experiencing facial pain, jaw, and sleep issues.

I had really severe headaches, daytime sleepiness and jaw pain before going to Physiologic Aesthetic with Dr. Davidian. I found out that there are a couple of issues that caused pain and sleepiness. I have TMJ issues causing the pain and sleep apnea. I didn’t realize how many health issues you can with sleep apnea. She was very informative and described the risk associated with my issues and how she could help. To help with the TMJ issues, she used ultrasound therapy, massage and trigger point injections. Through the use of a sleep appliance I was able to wake up without headaches. My wife was pleased that my sleep apnea could be fixed by a small mouth piece and not a mask/machine (CPAP). I didn’t realize my daytime sleepiness was caused by sleep apnea and how much it was affecting my work until it disappeared with the use of the sleep appliance. With the help of Dr. Davidian, I can now have a restful night sleep with no more headaches. I would recommend anyone going to Dr. Davidian if you have similar issues.
