Two days prior to our visit, my son was at the orthodontist. It was discovered that one of his baby molars had split in half, broke off and left the other half attached. They recommended we have it removed to allow the adult tooth to come out.I left the office and immediately called Tara at Midtown Dental. As always, her voice met me with professionalism and accommodation. She fit us in as soon as possible and even, magically, was able to align my sons appointment with my husbands upcoming appointment in two days.Although never the most pleasurable experience, my son stated they removed the tooth with ease, didnt disrupt his braces and was just in-and-out in no time. Not to mention, after forgetting his tooth at the office, they were nice enough to call and let us know.This office/practice is just outstanding! I have had some horrible and painful experiences in the past with dentist. So much so that I did not want to go back. When I had to go back I dreaded it. I feared the pain I experienced in the past. Rumley is brilliant. all the fears I had were for nothing. He worked and I could barely feel a thing. Plus all of the staff there is so welcoming, comforting, and polite. Not to mention they work with you with your payment plan. I was never caught off guard and never felt pressured to make any financial decisions. The place is great and I would recommend it to anyone.

This is the best dentistry practice in town. From the time you walk through the door until your appointment is complete the staff makes you feel right at home. No one likes going to the dentist but Dr. Rumley and his staff make it easy on everyone to enjoy the experience. Highly recommend without hesitation.

Since I am fairly new to the area, you never think you will find a dentist like the one you left behind ~ but I have! I am so impressed with the genuine care from the front desk to the dentist. My dental hygienist, Kim, was very personable and explained the what and why of each step and Dr. Rumley took the time to know me as well as my dental habits.

This is the 5th dentist Ive had in my 32 years in Raleigh/Cary. By far its the best environment and the professionals are great from reception to dentist. They greet you by name, always smile, and really run a tight operation. I definitely recommend them.

Midtown Dental is a great place to go. The staff is friendly, from Karen at the front desk, to Mary Lou the hygienist, to Dr. Maness himself. They remember you and they are know who you are from visit to visit. The treatment is painless and first class. For about half what it costs just to talk to my physician, I got my teeth cleaned, my gums checked out, some x-rays taken, and I left feeling confident and refreshed. Best deal in healthcare ever.

I just had a 6 month cleaning and check-up (no cavities!) and was in and out in about 30 minutes. Everyone in this office is so nice, friendly and professional. Dr. Rumley and Dr. Whitehurst are the best dentists I have found in the Raleigh area and I highly recommend them.

Athough I had no appointment, I was in the area and had a question about a teeny cyst - should it be seen by my Primary Care Doctor or Dr. Rumley? So I just popped in the office. The staff there is always so pleasant. Within three minutes I was sitting in a chair, talking to Dr. Rumley about the cyst. He assured me that it was not urgent, and that it was definitely a dental issue. Then he gave me several options with which to work. I was able to also update some insurance-related issues while I was in the office. Total unscheduled visit was about 10 minutes! Midtown Dental rates five stars with me! Most people dread going to the dentist but for me its always a very pleasant experience. Kim is the Worlds Best Dental Hygienist. I have very sensitive teeth as she is always so careful about the cold water. Everyone in the office (Tara, Monica, Kim, Drs. Rumley and Whitehurst are very friendly and always on time. Highly recommend this practice.

As a family we have been patients of Dr Whitehurst for years. When Dr Rumley joined him I got to know him right away. I have been impressed with Dr Rumley each time he has done any dental work on me. He is professional, skilled, friendly and generally a really nice person.

There is no dentist as wonderful as this one! like most everyone, I dread the dentist, but this one helps relieve all the fears and uncomfortable stuff that comes with that dread. the ladies are wonderful and sweet. they dont make me open my mouth too big for them while working on my mouth, which is very helpful for my TMJ so my jaw doesnt end up hurting for a week afterwards like it used to! and dr rumley is so gentle, you almost cant feel anything! no joke...you really can almost not feel him working in there, hes so gentle! and the ladies at the desk are sweet as pie too! this is a great dentist office!!
