I have been to other dentists that exaggerated what my needs were in order to make more money. So it was a relief to find a dentist with integrity. We have found our new Raleigh dentist 🦷

An all around amazing staff! Everyone is always nice and welcoming. The Dr is great at what he does and the assistants are just as capable. The office is a nice setting and always has great music playing. Just an all around great dentistry practice. Definitely would recommend them to anyone.

I had to find a new dentist for my daughter and I found this dentist office through Google nearby my home. The location is perfect. Right in between work and home. The staff were very courteous and friendly. The ambience of the office is great! Kristin & Tossi really was a great help calling prior dentist office to obtain records and even bringing my daughter out to the car when she was done. I will definitely recommend this office. My daughter went in as a new patient for x rays and cleaning and they asked if I wanted them to go ahead and take of some fillings that she needed. Absolutely! This place is great 👍🏾

I am fairly new to the area and this was my first time to Northside Dental. The office was very clean and looked to be newly renovated, and the front desk staff were very pleasant even when I mentioned I had forgotten to bring my insurance card. The dental hygienist was friendly and continually checked in to ask if I was doing okay while she cleaned my teeth. The dentist came in just briefly to take a look at a tooth I had concerns about and assured me that everything looked good but said if I were to ever be in pain due to sensitivity that there were things he could do to remedy that. No one loves a dentist visit, but all in all this was probably the most pleasant routine cleaning I’ve ever had. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing staff. Used to hate going to the dentist, and would go out of my way to avoid making appointments. Since switching to Northside, I have not missed a 6 month cleaning. They also did a fantastic job with my 2 front teeth veneers from an accident when I was a kid.

I was very impressed by the fast response to our new visit request. The staff was very courteous and my daughter was excited I could be in the room using PPE. The hygienist was gentle yet thorough and our dentist was terrific in looking at all details in her mouth and took time to explain everything and made my daughter very relaxed. I came to this dentist and spoke with him about treatment for my teeth. He was very pleasant and answered all my questions. I have many things that needed to be addressed and he was very straight forward. I like that . I told him I am scared of any dentist and he made it clear he would be easy and offered me meds to take before I got there. My front teeth were broken and he fixed them beautiful. I will recommend this dentist to everyone. He’s a very patient and calm manor type of person . I love it there I trust it there and I WILL be going back for all my care for my mouth. I have been going here for years but this was the first time I’ve taken my 10 year old son. I like that I never have to wait long ( especially now!) the reception staff are always super friendly, fast and professional. The hygienist was friendly and had a great rapport with my son. The dentist was quick as there were no issues but like wise efficient and polite. Will definitely be repeat customers

I had to bring my little one with me to my appointment and let me say I don’t know if they enjoyed his company or he enjoyed his company more. They were so helpful. The whole experience was just amazing.

Had a major procedure done yesterday and am happy with the results. The staff are all professional and caring and made me feel I was in good hands. Dr Metwally and his assistant worked for 2 1/2 hrs on me, and throughout kept me abreast of what they were doing and asking how I was. Sent me off with meds and instructions. Would recommend this practice.

I always have a good experience here. The woman who cleans my teeth is always so gentle and thorough. First time I’ve been able to relax in a dental chair. They get me in and out quickly each time and everyone is always so friendly.

I’ve only had one Family Dentistry that I’ve gone to since I was 18! After that I haven’t been to a dentistry in over 2 years! I’m 22 now and I had to make myself an appointment to see A dentist. I found Northside Dental on Raleighs Community Facebook group and read a lot of good reviews on this dentistry. I had my appointment today 11/10/2020 and I am 100% pleased with the services they gave. The dentist/assistants were EXCELLENT! They made me feel comfortable and they were so friendly and kind, not to mention getting me in and out in less than an 1 hour! They were very precise in there feedback as well! I can finally say I’ve found a “Forever Home” with Northern Denistry!!!!!

An excellent dentist and a wonderful staff. This was my first visit and it was very quick and efficient. I did not have to wait for a long time. There was enough personnel in the office to get the paperwork done quickly, too, which was great. The doctor and his assistant were incredibly friendly and professional. Dr. Metwally was happy to address all my questions and concerns. The office is well maintained and even provides TV so you can be entertained while getting dental work done. Amazing dental practice! I cannot say enough great things! NSD fixed my crown that was done by a previous dentist. The previous dentists work was never correct. The crown never fit right, broke several times and they had to put it back in and it was painful each time. Northside Dental took me in and assessed the situation and fixed my crown.So far, it feels better than the previous one EVER did. The doctor and the staff are so friendly and will take care Of you like family! I do not remember all of your names( sorry I am so bad with names) but please know how grateful I am!I have found my forever dentist, even though my insurance does not include them as a provider. My experience was definitely not a good one. The fact that Ive been coming there for years with my kids made me think they would know their patients. However my last visit my son got called a she, and girl too many times. I felt very offended. I myself have trained as an office assistant and Im pretty sure that there was a patient list there that morning. So for my son to still get called a she after you seen his name bothered me. After my last visit Ive decided to find a more kid friendly dentist moving foward.

The doctor is very thorough and specialized knowledgeable dental professional i have ever known in my life. His geniune caring attitude towards me and what i observed with other patients, as well as his staff is easily rated five star out of five. If i can add more star too this reviews. I will never hesitate too. Overall good experience. I highly recommended.

I have been seeing Dr. Chris and his incredible staff over the past 5 years and they are nothing short of AMAZING! Between routine cleanings, fillings, and a recent root canal & crown they always take good care of me and make me feel at ease! I hate going to the dentist but they are super kind, friendly and do a great job at staying on time. All of which makes a huge difference when having to go!

Oh I like this dental care more than any dentist office I have ever been to. I am 60 years old and I am ODC when it comes to keeping my teeth clean! They knew what they were talking about and were very helpful very cost conscientious and very informative of what was going on with my teeth. You know when you go to a mechanic they will tell you things that you need to do that you really don’t need to do? That was going on at my other dental office. Dr Chris Powell was very good about explaining what I should have done, and what I really don’t need to have done unless there is sensitivity to my teeth. He pointed out the concerns and told me my options with no pressure on any of it and being very conscientious on the cost and insurance coverage. Susan was very gentle while cleaning my teeth. Chrissy was very good at gathering information and asking pertinent questions and being very patient with me giving my response to her questions. She did the wing-bite x-rays and was a little rough and left sore spots in my mouth that day and the next day. But that can be a hard thing to do on my mouth because it is a very little and not much room to work in. I would highly recommend Carolina dental arts!

As someone who struggles with anxiety, especially around dentists and dental work, just making a dental appointment is daunting task. Not to mention were in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, from the first after hours contact I made for my dental emergency to the time it took to complete the work, Dr. Metwally and the staff at Nothtside Dental went above and beyond to ensure that my emergency was handled expeditiously while still maintaining their focus on my comfort and mental state. I would also like to mention that the dental work itself was the most painless and flawless that Ive ever received in my life. I highly recommend Northside Dental and am very lucky to have stumbled upon it myself.Update 2/18/2021 - Ive continued visiting Northside Dental 🪥 for all of my check ups, cleanings, x-rays and unfortunately for me fillings and crowns 👑, but continue to be blown away by the impeccable service and care of the entire staff. The attention to detail is truly above and beyond anything I had grown accustomed to when I forcibly dragged myself to the dentist. Honestly, the genuine lack of care or concern for my overall well being is what drove me to reject and avoid all dentistry as a wholefor over eight years. That being said I am extremely fortuitous to have found the right dentist office for my smile and will regularly visit Northside Dental for as long as they take my insurance.

Me and my 3 boys go here and have been for about 4 or 5 years and love it! I won’t let anyone else touch my teeth but Dr.Powell and his team. I love the fact they have later hours as well for those that work regular 8-5 jobs. Both locations I have visited are clean and staff are friendly. My main location is falls of the Neuse and my experience is always great.

This is by far the BEST dentist I have ever visited. I had an emergency and needed an extraction ASAP. They took me in right away. All the staff was extremely helpful and so kind I felt like I was with friends. They walked me through everything so I could understand exactly what needed to happen. Dr. Chris was so patient and kind with me during my extraction (because I was terrified) and he did an amazing job. Only two days out of surgery and I barely have pain. This will be my dentist for the rest of my time living in Raleigh and if I ever move I hope to move to a city where their other offices are located. They are even considerate of your realistic finances when explaining the thing you need. I love them! I actually cant wait to go back.

Where to begin? I came to Carolina Dental Arts a year ago after avoiding the dentist for a few years. They quickly identified the known issues and broke it down into prioritized areas, which they quickly took care of over the course of a few months. Had 4 wisdom teeth extracted a month ago, and a final filling caused by those pesky wisdom teeth today.
