I cannot say enough about Craig Adams and the entire dental staff here. I have grown up with anxiety at the dentist and have avoided them for many years. I have recently moved and needed a new dentist as well as the rest of my family. I had the best experience of my life from when I walked in the front door and spoke to the front desk, then to the hygienists, and finally the dental assistants and the dentist himself. They all have a drive and love for their job and Craig has done a great job picking the right staff. My son got his teeth cleaned and my husband and I have had numerous visits to get back to where we needed to be with our teeth. This will be our dentist for the rest of our lives. If anyone is nervous about going to the dentist like I am. COME HERE, you will no longer fear the dentist.

I moved to Raleigh in 1990. The first week I was here I broke a tooth and had to ask around for referrals. All working together to provide the best experience for me as a patient.I have had several appointments with Dr. Adams and it is obvious that his technical skill and many years of providing dental services benefited me immensely in receiving a pain free experience with structural and aesthetic results that were far better than I could have ever imagined beforehand.Dr Adams was my dentist and then I relocated to Indiana. I have been driving back to Raleigh for his dental services for a couple years. That should tell you how highly I value his (and his teams) services.I have noticed that the practice has a very close relationship with their dental lab partner, who I have learned is located in the same building and it appears they share the same high standards for quality and service. There was a slight adjustment needed to the dental lab work; it was very convenient to have the lab make those adjustments immediately, while I remained in the dental chair, thus eliminating a return trip for me to the dental office. I doubt many dentist offices have that same luxury.Lastly, somehow they have learned to make dentistry almost fun. Very nice people who are good at what they do and they have fun while doing it - It is a great environment.

I am completely satisfied with the service I received. The office has revised a lot of its medical procedures to help ensure the safety of the patients and staff as a result of COVID-19. I have a small mouth that has led to bad experiences with prior dental offices. My current dental hygienist is very conscious of this fact and goes out of her way to ensure my comfort while still maintaining I receive a very thorough cleaning. I found all the staff from the front desk to the dentist to be very friendly, professional and knowledgeable.

Unfortunately a very underwhelming experience with Dr. Cheek. My 8 year old had her teeth cleaned and unfortunately had 2 cavities on 2 of her baby teeth. While the hygienist was wonderful I was left very unimpressed by the dr. He asked if I gave my daughter juice or soda or sweet drinks basically all day long due to the fast progression of the cavities. While I assured him I don’t shop or keep these drinks in my home he then replied with “that’s really none of my business that’s between you and your diabetes doctor!” Seriously?! This is part of why people hate going to the dentists! Parents and patients get shamed.. never will I visit this office again! I gave 1 star for the hygienist..

My previous dentist was capable enough, but didnt seem to care much about patient comfort. So I switched to the Adams & Cheek practice after reading many positive reviews, and have never looked back. Everything there is focused on the patient -- from the friendly office staff, to the capable and caring hygenists and techs, to the skill and attention Dr. Adams brings to every procedure. During my visits for preventive care or more extensive dental work, Ive always felt valued as a client (and never felt pain - yay!) I also appreciate their efforts to keep patients and staff safe during the COVID pandemic.

It was my first visit to this office and would highly recommend this dentistry. The staff was friendly from the beginning to end. the receptionist were a delight, the dental hygienist was very kind (and was kind to my teeth), and the dentist was nice as well. The staff was very thorough in their explanation of benefits, during the cleaning, and future care / techniques I could use moving forward for a healthy smile.

Thanks to Lenas prompt assistance I was able to be worked in to see Dr. Adams with a tooth that had become extra sensitive overnight. As always, Dr. Adams and his team were considerate, caring, and professional. While I was unhappy to need a root canal and crown, I knew I would get the best treatment possible and did. The procedure was smooth and without pain--then and since the procedure. Through the years, Dr. Adams truly has been the best dentist Ive ever had...he knows his profession and truly cares that his patient is comfortable and well.

Excellent service, my appointment was at 1 pm, and I was in the chair at 1:01 pm. Everyone was very professional, and projected a happy attitude, which made me feel good. The waiting area was clean and had a warm Im at home feeling, the working areas were clean and organized.VERY nice experience, and not only did Dr. Adam seem to care about my teeth and whats going on with them, so did my dental hygienist. Everything was explained to me, such that I could make a sound choice on my path forward with my treatment plan. The ladies working at the Front desk also are very professional and helpful explaining my insurance and they review with me, my invoice and each line item listed. I walked out fully understanding all aspects of my visit.Excellent experience.

Ive been going here since I was 5 years old! (18 years). Ive never hated going to the Dentist because of Dr. Adams and Cheek. I used to see Dr. Adams til a few years ago and was nervous about seeing Dr. Cheek because he was new but hes awesome! Everyone is so friendly and helpful with anything you need. Im moving to Texas in November 2015 and I dont know what Im going to do without my wonderful Dentistry team!! I may just fly back every six months for a cleaning... Im absolutely serious. Dr.Adams is a money driven disgusting man. Literally shot all hopes of fixing my mouth out the window. I saw Dr Adams I believe and I was uncomfortable. I felt pressured to make a decision in the moment and it just really felt like I was talking to a car salesman. He seemed more interested in making a sale than genuinely trying to help me choose the best option for what I needed done. I was referred by a friend and he says that Dr Cheek is the one to see, that he’s the one who’s amazing and genuinely cares.

I had my first dental cleaning with Kate and Dr. Cheek yesterday. This was, by far, the best dental cleaning I have ever had! Kate was thorough and gentle and I made sure to ask for her next time. I do have to return for a crown in 2 weeks but Dr. Cheek has done 2 crowns for me already and he is compassionate and caring about his patients and makes sure they are completely comfortable at all times.

From my initial phone call until the time I checked out of the office everyone was really helpful, extremely friendly and professional which meant a lot to me as my situation was fairly urgent at the time and this was my first visit here. I have been going to Adams and Cheek for several years and highly recommend them. Very friendly staff and a nice, clean, comfortable office. Dr. Cheek did a great job fixing my front teeth to look beautiful on my wedding day and has been helping me keep my teeth clean during my orthodontics treatment. My favorite part of the office is the puffer fish in the front office fish tank. Hes got some cute teeth. ;)

Since I moved down to NC for NY, I have been to this office many times. The care and attention given by the staff, Drs, and hygienist is more than words can express. On one occasion, I had a crown placed in my mouth, and 2 times it cracked while it was being put in. These things happen, and I didnt get upset about the fact I had to return on 2 separate occasions to fix it. Ultimately, Dr. Cheek upgraded the crown and even threw in movie tickets for the time and aggravation.I would totally recommend them to anyone looking for a Dentist office.

This was my first visit. The office is great very modern and comforting. All the staff is very outgoing and welcoming. Dr Adams was very thorough and gave me several options. The procedure itself was done quick and easily. Thanks for a great first experience, despite needing a tooth to be extracted. I called on a Tuesday and was taken care of the very next day.

When I first walked into the office, I immediately felt more at ease than I have ever felt at any other dentist’s office. The entire staff was professional, friendly, and caring and the atmosphere felt more like a cozy ski lodge than a foreboding office. I have always loved going to the dentist, call me crazy, but my experience with dental procedures has been great, even getting root canals and crowns! Most recently I have been worrying about a wisdom tooth that was starting to give me problems. I have been traveling and needed a consult quickly before my next trip. I found the website and was able to make an appointment at my earliest convenience. The staff were so helpful. My fear, that the tooth would have to be pulled, was confirmed. After asking many questions of Dr. Adams, and without any pressure from him, I decided that pulling the tooth was the best option. After being nervous about the procedure, two twists and the tooth was out! I was shocked! He pulled the tooth so gently that my head didnt even leave the headrest! So, I still love going to the dentist. Thank you so much for a great experience.

Just had my first crown. Even though dental work is not anybody’s favorite thing to do, Dr Adams and Michelle made it as comfortable and easy as possible. The procedure was faster than I thought and before I knew it we were done. Now I know it’s no big deal and am happy to have the best dentist around!

If I could give this place a 20 stars I would. Dr Adams, his assistant Donna and the front desk staff are simply AMAZING. Everything about the practice is what sets them apart from any other dentist office Ive ever been to! I went in for tooth pain and soon realized that I need a root canal. As nervous as I was to get it done Dr Adams and Donna both walked me through the process and addressed all my concerns along the way. Not once did they make me feel rushed, ashamed or embarrassed to be there. They were simply phenomenal. When I left I was in terrible pain and While in my way to work the next day D. Adams had his assistants Lena to reach out to me to see how I was doing. Out of 5 different dental offices Ive ever been too, not once did the Dr call to see how I was doing the next day. This was one of the reasons I will never go to any other dental office! Ever! They have gained another loyal patient and even the 5000 character limit that Im allowed would be enough to really say everything I love about this place!!!!!!

Staff is really friendly and are really helpful in checking up on your insurance for you and calling you back. Theyre also skilled at making nervous children feel at ease. The offices are really nice, and they are competent in what they do. The only thing that may be a concern is that costs here are higher than at many other dentists, so if you dont have good dental coverage this may not be the right place for you.

We are so lucky that we found this dental facility! My kids feel very happy to see their dentist, as he is wonderful with treating kids. The ambiance is not at all like a dental office, more like a vacation home in the mountains, so it provides a comfortable feeling. Very professional staff as well! We highly recommend this place.

I have a pretty fast approaching deadline and everyone has been so accommodating! I got a filling this morning and though I was a bit nervous (as Ive never had to get one before) they made sure that I felt relaxed and even provided me with a blanket during my filling cause it was a bit chilly (for me anyways!) Dr. Adams and his staff do a great job of explaining what they are doing and why they are suggesting that treatment with you before hand giving you the opportunity to ask as many questions as youd like. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Adams, his staff and the work that they do, I couldnt imagine going any where else to have dental work done.

My visit to Dr. Cheeks office was an absolutely wonderful experience. As always, the staff was very welcoming and attentive. It is obvious they really care about their patients. Everyone at the office is concerned about your wellbeing and wants to make your visit enjoyable. Everyone takes the time to ask you how you are, if you have a busy day and wishes you well as you depart after your appointment. The service is impeccable. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. My routine cleaning was simple and easy. I highly recommend the fluoride treatment as a added protection after your cleaning. Dr. Cheek is awesome. Kate, my new dental hygienist is wonderful. Excellent group of dentists, best in the area. Spend the time to make sure patient understands everything and is very thorough. I would never go back to anybody else after being with these guys. Nothing bad to say at all!

Dr. Cheek is highly skilled and competent. His work is excellent. He is a perfectionist. I had a bone graft, 4 fillings and a crown done completely pain free. If you dont understand something, he is patient in explaining over and over if needed. You never feel rushed. He is down to earth, compassionate and caring. The staff is very friendly and helpful also. I felt comfortable with everyone. The office has very convenient hours including Saturday mornings!

The last time I saw Dr. Adams was because of a crown that came off. I just wanted it put back on. (Id been a patient previously, but hadnt seen him in years prior to this.) Dr. Adams looked in my mouth for about ten seconds and told me that I needed three crowns. (Im not sure if that included the lost crown or not.) When I was taken aback, he said that I could probably just get fillings instead. I left intending to get a second opinion. Its been a long time, but I finally saw another dentist, who performed a full initial examination and told me that, barring some relatively minor tooth erosion and the missing crown, my teeth were fine.Id seen Dr. Adams for years. I now wonder how much dental work Ive had done that was unnecessary, given that he wanted to grind down two or three teeth that another dentist didnt seem to think even needed fillings.That said I suspect that hes a technically proficient dentist. If you know you need dental work, I wouldnt hesitate to get it done by him. I just wouldnt trust him to tell me whether I needed any work or not.

This is the best dental office in Raleigh & I would not go anywhere else. Dr. Cheeks rocks. He is smart, knowledgeable and kind. His dental skills are unparalleled and I have complete faith in his technical abilities. Great assistants and a wonderful & professional staff. 10 out of 10!

I have had major work done with Dr. Adams twice in the past two years. Both times it was a very good experience. His staff ( everyone on the staff!) is knowledgeable and friendly. Appointments are kept ON TIME, every time. The work I had done was pain free both during the appointment and afterward. We have been very pleased with the service and quality of the work.

Despite needing to get a root canal done, I had a very positive experience at Adams and Cheek Dentistry. Dr. Adams performed the procedure and was very knowledgeable and professional. I met Dr Craig Adams at a mission trip in Puerto Rico. And when I see his work i decided to fly to Raleigh to do a full mouth makeover. Im so happy with the experience, the service. Not only from Dr Craig Adams, but the whole crew. And now I can smile better for sure! The work that Dr Adams and his staff performed changed my life. I had bridge work, implants and deep scaling treatments and felt NO pain. I am truly blessed to know Dr Adams and his staff!

I recently had a procedure with Dr Cheek. He and Lauren were great. They were caring and reassuring throughout. They even had me laughing!
