They are so friendly and communicative! Lisa the dental hygienist was so sweet! She made sure I was comfortable and really took the time to listen to my concerns and gave me great tips on flossing! Dr. McConnell was so nice and really explained everything in detail which I appreciated. Midtown smiles is now my go to dentist in the Raleigh area. Can’t wait for next time!

The staff was very Freindly and welcoming. Dr. McConnell is very professional and shows genuine concern for how her patient is doing in her chair moment by moment. She asked me multiple times if I was ok ✅ That screams volumes for me!!! Customer service is obviously a big deal at this office and it shows. I’m moving to Texas but will be returning to this office for my dental needs at least for the next 12 months until I can find someone comparable. I know it’s going to be hard. 😊

What an amazing experience our family had this week during our first visit after just moving to the area! My husband and I were seen yesterday and our teenagers today. They had only great things to say about their visit, which as never happened! The Hygienist Lisa, was awesome and really made us all feel as if we had been patients there for years. Dr McConnell was so thorough during my exam and answered all my questions without me feeling like she was rushing to get to the next person. I would give this office 10 stars if possible!!

I was extremely nervous about this appointment because I haven’t been to the dentist regularly in years. I recently realized that I needed to get my act together with my health, which included my dental needs. Having been a patient at Midtown Smiles a few years ago, I was aware that the practice had been bought by Dr. McConnell, so I knew things would be a bit different. Not that the old experiences that I had were bad, but...ya know...its just a dentist. But let me tell you, everyone on staff presently is fantastic. Colleen is one of the best receptionists Ive ever experienced anywhere. JoAnn made me feel super calm while having my procedure done. Lisa is a hoot & a half & really inspired me to take better care of my teeth & explained the ins & outs of how things work involving dental hygiene. Last but not least, Dr. McConnell is a fantastic dentist. She has such a calming energy about her, & the normal conversations you have with her during your visit will make being at the dentist a lot less terrible. Plus, she seems to know the words to almost every song that plays over the speakers.I recommend this practice to anyone in Raleigh & the surrounding areas. Even if you have to drive a bit, its totally worth it.

Absolute professionalism from the staff. Everyone is straightforward and will not pull punches, and is very personable. We have only had great experiences with them, and will continue for many years. The dentist even took time and called to see how we were doing after the surgery! Altogether wonderful staff who will put you at ease.

I went to midtown when I lived in raleigh for the past 6 yrs. in the last yr we moved to Indiana and I broke my partial. So I came for a visit to raleigh this week and called the office. They got me in and got it fixed. I would travel to have them as my dentist again. Always going the extra mile to help the patient. Miss all the girls there.

My first visit, everything went great. Had Lisa do my cleaning, she was very careful didnt hurt Dr. McConnell was excellent, making new appointment easy and they file for you. MidTown Smiles is my new dentist.

Dr McConnell has been our family dentist for over 16 years. We have all visited her new location and will continue to do so. The staff is friendly & professional (She always surrounds herself with the best). She told me of the plans to update/ remodel the office. And I’m excited to see the changes!8/12/2020 update: just had my 6 mo checkup. The office looks BEAUTIFUL! Crisp clean and modern. Lisa, they hygienist, is great. I’m not a fan of having my teeth cleaned ( scraping🙄) but I love clean teeth 🤷🏻‍♀️ she remembered and work quickly and efficiently.I’m actually scheduling just cleaning every three months!

I was very pleased with the care provided by MidTown Smiles for my mother. She lives out of town and couldnt get into her normal dentist for an emergency appointment. So I called MidTown Smiles and they took her right in. Amazing dentist and staff here!! They were so friendly and caring and they provided excellent service! I cant say enough about them! Dr. Hanna Zombek is incredibly thorough and loves to explain exactly what is going on. She will take the time to spend with you to make sure you understand everything (Ive never known a dentist to spend extra time). I recently had to get a crown and she uses the numbing gel, then a numbing injection that doesnt sting (because its close to the pH of your mouth-she told me that!) and then she uses the one that stings, only now you cant feel it!!! She and her staff are fun and passionate and great at their jobs. They feel like friends and I am so thankful! PS-DR. HANNA SAVED MY TOOTH FROM A ROOT CANAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!

This is a really wonderful dentists office (theres a sentence I thought Id never say!). Both Drs. Zombek, as well as their staff, are personable, friendly, and knowledgeable, and really went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and informed about my procedures. They spent ample time with me both times I visited and were lovely in helping with my dentists office anxiety. Highly recommended!

Thanks to Dr. Zombek and her staff, I dont hate going to the dentist. Keeps me informed of everything she is doing and is lays concerned with my well being. She keeps it light and as much fun as possible. Shes not a bad singer, either.

This was our first experience with Dr. Mc Connell and my husband was extremely pleased with her. He has a severe gag re-flux requiring him to have nitrous oxide in order to have any dental work done. He needed to have his bridge re-cemented and she attempted to do the work without his having to use nitrous oxide. After a few minutes, he started to have a gag reflux and she immediately gave him nitrous oxide. Dr. McConell was very attentive and caring to my husband. We are both quite pleased with her and would highly recommend this practice to others.

Wonderful experience. Dr. Zombek and staff take took their time to get to know me, my history and my options. In the past, Ive been to large dentist offices before and it was always hit or miss. Sometimes I felt like a number. Midtown smiles treated me like they care about my teeth and want to keep me as a patient. I will be going back!

I have been petrified of having painful teeth cleanings since my braces exposed my roots years ago. I decided to switch dentists due to this, and the first experience i had at MidTown Smiles completely changed how i felt about dentists. They used a water scaling system, and were extremely careful to not cause distress, it was by far the BEST experience i have ever had at a dental office.I also had to get a filling, and Dr. Zombek and her team set me up with nitric oxide (my first experience), gave me plenty of pain medicine (and worked to ensure i didnt feel the needle), and was just awesome. I recommend this practice to everyone I can.For children - I took my 18 month old, and they didnt force anything with her, gave her a toothbrush, which allowed them to look into her mouth quickly and overall just got her used to the experience. I will gladly be taking her back for future cleanings.

We were in Raleigh for only two years, and I found Midtown Smiles and Dr. Zombek right near the end of our stay there. Everyone is very thorough in explaining processes, whether X-rays, billing or home dental care. I learned a lot from Dr. Zombek and wish I could have taken Midtown Smiles with me when I moved!

From the front of the office to the back, have really appreciated what the folks at this office have done for me. I have had (admittedly) way too much dental work done in the last two years, but I am glad I chose Dr. H Zombek to do the bulk of the work. I really feel like she cares about me as a patient, she IS patient with me, and very accommodating to my needs....cause we all know the dentist chair isnt somewhere we like to spend much time. She has always made herself available to answer questions/concerns of mine and that is much appreciated. I have had some not-so-ideal dentists in the past and Dr. Zombek is a breath of fresh of air when it comes to the quality of work she provides and the atmosphere she creates in the office. I am not an easy patient but they are incredibly patient with me and I will continue coming back (hopefully less often than recently ;)thank you Midtown Smiles.
