I was so excited to finally book a massage after a long hiatus caused by the pandemic. Today was the day and I was not disappointed! I booked the 50 minute Blue Eucalyptus treatment and it was fantastic. My therapist Dylan zoned right in and expertly massaged those long neglected sore points. I felt great when he was finished and the lovely glass of champagne post massage was a wonderful treat. This experience confirmed my desire to start booking massages again. I highly recommend the Underground Spa & Wellness. Staff was warm and welcoming and the facility was pristine.

I am absolutely furious with how I have been treated by this spa. I booked two messages about three weeks before my desired appointment (August 21st). I never received a confirmation email, called the spa, and only got voicemail. About five days before the 21st, I changed my mind because of COVID news, called the spa again to cancel because they had a 24 hour cancellation policy, and got voicemail. Later, while I am in a work meeting, I get a voicemail from them saying to call back to confirm my cancellations, which I do. I get voice confirmation those appointments are cancelled.Well, August 21st, the day of those massages, I get a harried voicemail asking me when I expect to arrive at the spa, because I am not there at my appointment. I immediately call back, saying to the completely disinterested receptionist that I had already cancelled my appointments. She told me she would send this up to her manager and that her manager would contact me, but I never received ANY contact from ANY manager, and it’s been almost a week.I wake up this morning to find I have been charged $550 to my card by the Logan. To say that I am furious is putting it lightly. To say they Logan’s spa staff has been unprofessional, unhelpful, and misleading is a gross understatement. This whole process has been so clunky (seriously??? No confirmation emails? Constant phone tag for something as simple as canceling an appointment nearly a week put?) and I am furious, do not waste your time—there are plenty of message chains and small businesses that are more fairly priced and actually know how to run a business. A clown car of a spa.

My mother and I went here the day before my wedding for some rest and relaxation. We both had massages and facials. Both experts were phenomenal! We will definitely be returning.

There were no other spa amenities and the massage was mentally and physically uncomfortable.

This is one of my favorite spas in the city. The staff is super accommodating. You must have a massage with Hilda. She will have you feeling like a new person. Try the flour less chocolate cake!! Delish!!!

It was me and my girlfriend first ever massage and it was amazing I love how deep they go into the tissue I had some pain in my knee and my tech Dillon took it right out I was on my way to sleep during the massage after we went to go eat which it was hard to after that amazing massage I’ll be going there again with my girlfriend

I’ve been to this spa a few times and the fact that I keep coming back should tell you just how wonderful it is. The staff and therapists are engaging and attentive. If you’re looking for a relaxing, luxurious spa experience I highly recommend you pay them a visit.

Not to toot my own horn but I frequent spas from all over the country so I have a pretty good base on spa experiences. My friend and I received a Blue Eucalyptus massage and facials. The facial started late- ended early- not allowing for the full hour. The facial itself was great- very relaxing though.The massage was very handsy (if you know what I mean- a little too close to the treasures)- a little uncomfortable at times. I didn’t get what I paid for- there was no Eucalyptus in the room and it was a very bizarre experience (for both my friend and I so I know it wasn’t just my therapist) they make you pre-pay the tip, which I think is a little tacky. We should be able to adjust the tip based on our experience (which I normally give more than 20% for outstanding service)The pool was nice- the locker rooms are VERY small - I wouldn’t recommend going here with a larger party.All in all I received a relaxing massage and facial so I’m giving them 4 stars but I think it would help to get a revamp and re-training of therapist to be softer in their tone and movements and respectful of customers privacy.

I had a massage, facial and salt scrub - it was amazing. I highly recommend Lanez. She had such healing hands and I felt so relaxed and wonderful after the massage. My skin felt so soft after the scrub. Thank you Lanez.

The atmosphere is relaxing and serene and it is a beautiful setup. My massage was great. A little pricey but its a spa in a 4 star hotel and you get your money’s worth!

Dylan has to be by far the best Massage therapist I’ve ever experienced and I would definitely love to return! Super professional and attentive🤗

Deep tissue was everything!

It was amazing! The massage was amazing. The pool felt like it was healing waters. It was almost the perfect day!

Wonderful experience at the Spa in the Logan Hotel. I’m not a spa person but after coming here I think that may change my view. I had the hydro facial and my skin looked considerable more firm and fuller. I’ll definitely be back for a massage in the future.

The staff was nice and the massage was ok. I’ve had better for the price + gratuity. My real complaint was the noise. The rooms are not sound proof at all. They’re were multiple loud bangs and other sounds that disrupted my relaxation. They could definitely upgrade the facility to make it more relaxing as a whole.

This spa is absolute paradise! The service is exemplary and I had such a wonderful time treating myself to the spa retreat. Every person on staff that helped with my services was so polite and charming. Would defiantly recommend this for yourself as as a gift to someone special!

AMAZING first time experience at the Underground Spa! I got an eyebrow wax and Toni was so gentle with my sensitive skin. She was so nice to talk to and made it such a relaxing trip! I highly recommend getting a service done by Toni! The spa is so clean. I cannot wait for my next time!

I had a really great experience at this spa!This was my first time going, I drive by the spa all the time and decided I needed to try it out.I got a 60min signature massage with Jade, and she was great! Shes so nice, and the massage was wonderful and relaxing.Im planning on going back there as often as my schedule allows!

Reviewing based on my experience trying to connect with a live person. I have left a message with the hotel’s front desk, called multiple times... The website says to call to schedule for a couple’s massage; otherwise, I would have booked online. I will be booking somewhere else. Over a week trying to get live help is not acceptable service.

Love this place! The mix of dry, steam, and Russian saunas hits the spot. Absolutely love their cafe with a great selection of beer, pickled veggies, salads, caviar, and other (Russian) delicacies, especially with the ability to go to the patio and/or roof deck. Best Banya in the Bay!

I had such an amazing visit at the Logan Spa. I received the 90-minute pink grapefruit experience which is basically heaven on earth the scrub smells absolutely amazing after having all the dead skin gently scrubbed off your entire body you head to the showers to take an amazing showers and when I returned back to the room Viola the sheets were perfectly changed and it was time for a message on the very cozy warm table . The massage was great and relaxing my therapist was knowledgeable and created an extremely tranquil environment. After a great massage, I was wrapped in warm thermal blankets and rested, when the therapist came to remove the blankets I was so at peace and my skin felt like silk! The amenities were also clean amazing the robes were, cute and cozy. I really enjoyed the pool and gym as well. The staff were all beautiful and hospitable I will return next time I am in the city :)

I went for a Hydra Facial, but the guy couldn’t get the machine to work so I received a regular facial. They gave me a candle and 10% off. It was ridiculous and unprofessional!! I will never go back! When you book a specific facial you should get it, not a boring over priced facial. They really should have given me 50% off and not charged me 20% gratuity! Ridiculous!

I had the true pleasure of receiving a Pink Grapefruit Experience followed by a Nirvana Stress Relief massage. They were each, hands down, the best treatments I have ever received! Ive visited numerous salons searching for the perfect masseuse and I have found it in Cheryl and Stephen with the spa at The Logan. Cheryl was friendly, attentive, exceptionally good at what she does, and overall a true delight to spend the afternoon with. Stephen was extremely observant, adjusting his pressure whenever my body shifted or he felt a slight resist. In addition, picking out my own aromatherapy - there are 4 to choose from, 2 for relaxing and 2 for rejuvenation, I picked Inspire - was a really fun, new aspect of a massage that I had not yet experienced. I actually had to hug Cheryl at the conclusion of my treatment, thats how incredible it was and it was more me just melting into her as opposed to a real hug since I literally felt like a brand new person. Perfect way to usher in spring!!

Ee had a couples massage and my massage therapist was Steve.It was a great experience! Very professional and one of the best massages I have had.

Just had the best facial of my life. So relaxing and helpful to my skin. The spa itself is lovely. I will return.

Not sure how they got such a high rating from others because I thought their treatments were the worst Ive ever had (and I get a lot). I am angry that the gratuity wasnt optional because I wouldnt have given as much. Locker room is uncomfortably cramped if more than 3 people in there. Dont come here with a group of friends or bridal party. Pool is small and filled with screaming kids every time I go. Most spas have little snacks and water bottles -- not this one. I went early to enjoy the facilities, like sauna or hot tub --- they dont have any. And the robes are a rough sweatshirt material. Overall and huge disappointment. Just a cheap and overpriced tourist trap.
