This place is beautiful. The outside, the inside, staff, communication is all on point! The staff is very friendly, informative and patient. I booked the 1 hour aromatherapy massage and I felt comfortable and relaxed during and after. I will definitely be returning. My appointment was with Kim, she was awesome. Thank you guys :)

I had Rebecca for my massage and a very nice woman whos name I unfortunately dont remember but we spoke about our sons who are about a year apart and she was just SO nice and I would definitely recommend anyone looking to have a great day to experience this place. The women at the front desk were so polite and helpful and I will be returning.

Had a prenatal massage with Holly in my third trimester and it was absolute bliss. Fantastic and relaxing massage- the oils, the pressure, everything. My body hasnt felt this good in months. Absolutely highly recommend. Treat yourself- you will not regret it.

My first time at Spa Terme Di Aroma I came in for the Day of Wellness package. Four hours and the best money spent in a long time! I received a fabulous facial, body polish treatment, massage and add-on scalp massage. The practitioners were amazing. The space is relaxing and I left on cloud nine. I highly recommend this great Philly gem!

I came in for a 30 minute Swedish massage. I was greeted by kind and smiling faces, was led to a darkly lit waiting room and was offered beverages and snacks. The atmosphere is warm and very relaxing. After filling out a short form about preferences and allergies, I was led down a hallway to a private room (this place is enormous). Lauren was great. She worked out the knots in my shoulders. I admit, after todays visit, I booked an hour long deep tissue massage for next week. I think I might be hooked.

Relaxing, clean, hospitable, reasonably priced, with tons of different hot and cold varieties to really stimulate the senses, calm the mind, and release tensions. Reminds me of being in Europe. New GM Roxy really has given the place new life; I love coming here for a little getaway! Why havent you given it a try yet? Highly recommended.

I honestly did not expect much upon arriving but walking in immediately set a mood that this was going to be good. The waiting room is relaxing with beverages and light snacks as you wait, and the staff is incredibly nice.Now onto my treatment. I had a deep cleaning and hydrating facial with Stacey. It is probably the best facial Ive ever gotten. She was very knowledgeable and focused on my problems. We discussed my issues and she addressed it with products she recommended and even suggested how to change my regimen at home to optimize the health of my skin. Im excited to come back in a few weeks after trying out her suggestions.This facial wasnt focused on what products she can sell, as Ive encountered before, but truly about how to make my skin better. I left very amazed at what one treatment did. My face feels clean and soft! They have great specials too so I will definitely be back!

My friends and I were sitting in the lounge and I said, We dont even need massages—we could just sit in this room all day and get the same effects. Seriously! The ambiance is impeccable. It was warm, dimly lit, and smelling of essential oils. Theres free hot apple cider, tea, and snacks. Can I live here? Anyway, I got a scalp massage from Michelle, and it was phenomenal. So soothing—just what my neck, head, face, and soul needed. Cant wait to return.

A truly tranquil and resting experience. The staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The ambiance is dark and amber and smells so good. You get to relax with lemon water or hot tea just before your massage. The masssge therapists are all wonderful. They are fully focused the entire hour, very skilled in working out muscles, and will ensure you leave good as new!

Always look forward to the serene and calm atmosphere of Terme. Been going for over 10 years. The new staff is just as polite and professional as the former owners. Facial was amaaazing! I like that you can request the larger back room for more privacy for a group of 3 or more.

I’ve paid $340 for a massage at the Bellagio, The palms... she was better. It’s like she was reading my mind on pressure, where, how long, etc. So impressed and thankful for the healing. The spa truly manages to block out the hustle and bustle, car horns and chatter from outside. I have been here twice and I certainly will be back again. The first time was a hot stone massage and the second was the aromatherapy, and both times were pleasant experiences. One leaves here floating always.Edit: I am revisiting my original review to make some amendments. The aromatherapy massage I received two weekends ago was the most relaxing, pleasurable and rejuvenating in my entire life. The post massage high was strong and left me with a lofty elated feeling upon leaving. During the massage, I remember thinking wow I am actually at 3rd and Arch/Market, yet I could never tell you that. By all means, please make the effort to go for a full hour. Trust me, you will be sorely disappointed when 30 minutes is up and you want more.

I sent my mother here as a Mothers Day present and she ABSOLUTELY loved it. I had no trouble setting up an appointment and having the correct prices. She said the atmosphere was absolutely wonderful, everyone spoke in low tones and was very calm, she was given drinks while waiting and right before her massage. Her masseuse was named Angela, I think, and that the actual room was wonderful and peaceful, Angela was very professional and kind, and for $45, she got a complete aromatherapy massage rub-down! I will definitely be bringing everyone here, at every chance I get. This is a good place, trust me.

Enjoyed a Thai Yoga Massage with Angela at Terme Di Aroma today - lovely! I was actually in Bangkok studying for 2 months earlier this summer and enjoyed many massages while there so I had to feed the addiction when I got back to Philly. Angie is extremely authentic in her practice and pushed me even deeper into lovely stretches than I experienced abroad. Maybe the Thais were more hesitant given that I was a tourist, but Angie mixed acupressure, breath, stretching and lighter strokes that left my body feeling warm and loose and yet aware of my strength for the rest of the day. The administrative staff are also wonderful. A terrific experience all around!

I went here three times: the first time was average, the second time I got a male masseuse which I’ve never had problems with in the past but I felt like this guy left parts of my body exposed by not covering me completely with towels and it made me really uncomfortable, and the third time I had a woman again who was absolutely amazing at deep tissue. Beautiful facilities and relaxing environment, just do your diligence on who you get booked with in advance.

It smells amazing even before you get in the building. The staff was calm and kind. My massage was the best Ive ever had. I didnt want to get off of the table. I plan on taking my mother and sisters-in-law back as soon as our schedules permit!

Ive been to Terme Di Aroma about 6 times. This place is like no other spa Ive ever been to. No other spa even compares to Terme Di Aroma. The staff is warm and friendly. Love the hot apple cider youre immediately offered. But best all, the massages are amazing. Just went there today and cant wait to go back.

I went to Georgette Klingers salon in NYC for decades until they closed. I searched Philly for a comparable European facial to no avail. I even had facials at a few salons & was disappointed every time. Then I saw Spa Terme Di Aromas add in GRID & gave them a call. Went for a facial with Margie & it felt like I was back in NYC at Klingers fabulous salon. So pleased! Terme has been open 22 years! I now have a 6 facial series which comes to about $80-/facial. Otherwise a single facial is $100- still a great price.

My favorite spa. Wonderful people who really care. The best facial I have ever had! Not pretentious just totally serene and relaxing. Love, love, love it!

Wonderful atmosphere and Cierra is amazing. If I lived in Philly, I would be a regular patron at Terme Di Aroma, because it is an all around wonderful experience. All of the staff I encountered were gracious and friendly.I was at the end of a 3 week US History tour with my kids and In-Laws. Walking, cajoling a recalcitrant kid, traveling to 4 states and countless national parks and Historical sites. I was exhausted physically and emotionally. Terme Di Aroma was recommended by my hotel staff. All they had open was a 30 min session. I took it, and it was a highlight of my vacation.I have never been so satisfied with only 30 min of massage. Cierra could tell right away that what I needed was peaceful rejuvenation, and that is what she created for me. It felt like she had bent time and space and gave me two hours of nurturing and recovery massage in a quarter of the time. I am a massage therapist myself, and am very picky. After her session I felt great and was amazed. Thank you.

Good services for prices which are reasonable. nice refreshments. hit and miss with massage therapist. i did the day of wellness and included was a massage, facial and body scrub. the body scrub was weird it was a gel like consistency that dried and flakes out. facial was ok i like the producta but the girl left me under the steamer for a long time like pass 15 minutes. the massage girls hands were weak.

My husband booked me the massage and facial combination for my birthday. I arrived here not knowing where I was going, or what was in store. They first have you fill out a form with all of your skin and body issues (common for a spa). They hand you your robe and you get changed and then sit in the waiting area/lounge. This was the biggest upset for me. In the waiting area you are sitting with people (men and women) dressed in normal clothing, while some are in just a robe, very awkward and uncomfortable. I then had to wait 30 minutes past my scheduled time for my masseuse to come get me. The massage was alright, but nothing special. There was no aroma therapy that I could smell being used and it was more of a rub then a massage. I was then seated back in the waiting area where I sat with clothed people until my aesthetician came to get me 30 minutes later. Im now an hour behind schedule, which would have been fine, but the awkwardness of the waiting area made it painful. The facial was average, but extractions are not included ($10 extra). Also, there was no mention of my many skin issues so I was just hoping that the products would not cause any problems. All in all the experience was not good. I didnt leave feeling refreshed or relaxed.

I found the spa when I was walking around the Old City area of Philly and was attracted by the décor and the aromatherapy. I was visiting Philadelphia from my home in California, the land of spas. I love the Old City area which is very hip and historic.Taj was my therapist and she was very good with her hands. I had a 30 minute neck and shoulder massage with lavender which was very relaxing. Taj told me about some things to see in the area so I appreciated our conversation. I found the price to be very reasonable and the setting with low lighting and quiet energy was very calming and rejuvenating. I will definitely go back there when I visit Philly again!
