In October 2020, my husband and I made appointments to DAmbra Spa & Salon while staying at the Ritz in celebration of our anniversary in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, we were late upon arrival as we ran into traffic on the way into the city. I called and spoke with the manager about this while in route to confirm we could keep our appointments. While some adjustments needed to be made to some services, she confirmed the masseur/masseuse would still be available for our couple’s massage. We were relieved, 2020 has been a doozey. However, when we arrived, the staff was neither attentive, nor communicative. My masseur did not speak to me outside of an introduction; he did not massage my hands or my feet - and when reminded, he rushed through it with an attitude. My sugar scrub was subpar to include a hard and painful jab to my breast and thigh. I felt nervous and completely uncomfortable. He gave a quick apology, finished my service, and left the room without direction. As I got dressed, I noticed my husband was gone, I had no idea where the restroom was, and I had no water. When I found the front desk, the manager saw my deep disappointment. She asked if something happened, and if she could help. I declined, to angry to use words that would make sense. I paid my bill and left with zero desire to come back. I found my husband and asked why he left. He said he left word to meet me in the room, he planned a surprise - nice.

This is the ONLY place I go to for my bikini waxes. My friend got hers here a while back and had a positive experience so, I decided to give them a try! Its fairly priced and Jazz (my beautician/waxer) was great. She made sure I was comfortable with the wax temperature and checked if I wanted more or less taken off during my appointment. I highly recommend them, especially if you are new to getting waxed.

Cant say enough positive things about my first of hopefully many experiences with the Richel DAmbra Spa at the Ritz. In 3 parts ...First: The ambience, people vibe, and amenities are just what youd expect and then some, for a spa inside a Ritz Carlton: Classy. Understated. Delicious.Two: Run-dont-walk to the Hydra Facial. I arrived from Colorado, where I live, and where the local newscasters had actually been reporting on the severe dryness last week. The Hydra treatment was fast (30-ish minutes), even paired with an LED treatment, and very pleasant. As for results - ! Lots of times, after a facial, they hand me the mirror and I look at my face and go, yep, thats my face. As in, I dont see a lot of change, but it sure felt great. This time, the Hydra Facial? I was beyond a little bit wowed at the results. Totally worth it.Three: I scheduled a massage during this trip as well, because Im over 50 and travel for work a lot. When Im not walking around with 30-40 pounds strapped to my back, with a rolling bag behind me, Im hunched over a screen; Im a tech writer. Add on a couple years of severe personal stress and yeah, my neck and shoulders (and hips and forearms and hands and and and) were jacked big time. Lucked out and got DANE. His experience in working the kinks out of athletes, and his relaxed, friendly demeanor, made me know I was in good care. Excellent experience, excellent guy, excellent massage. Bonus, I feel a few inches taller, and I can move my neck a lot better than a few hours ago.Bottom line: Two thumbs way up on Team Richel DAmbra! Ill definitely be back, and Ill definitely recommend you wide and far! Thank you all.

The place is very nice and tried to accommodate the parking as we were a few minutes late with traffic in town. The aroma when you enter is soothing. We had champagne and relaxed for a few minutes. The massage was nice and I felt great afterwards however we felt the Tibetan bowls was a waste for a significant amount more money. I was trying to relax and chime in to the rhythm but all I could hear was the sirens and horns honking in the back ground. That was disappointing. Over all the girls were really nice, the facility was clean and everyone was respectful of privacy. That alone speaks volumes.

I just had the most wonderful experience at the Rich DAmbra Spa and Salon. From the minute I walked in the experience was quite welcoming and inviting. I was greeted with a smile and really felt comfortable. But the high point was the excellent massage I receive from Stephanie. She worked out so many of the knots in my neck and shoulders. This experience exceeded my expectatation.Thank you.

I love the Richel DAmbra Spa so much, let me count the ways. I have been going to this spa for facials and massages for a long while now and always feel so relaxed and pampered when I walk out. Their services are tops and I love the products they use. Take advantage of the chill out room before your service and listen to some meditation sounds while sipping champagne and make sure to hit up the sauna on your way out. Such a fan!

Danielle Raco has given me the best facial and massage ever! I will be returning for more facials and massages from her and will recommend this Spa to my friends. The Spa has a wonderful ambiance. I felt like a new person after I was pampered!

Great massage experience.

Absolutely love this place. Always warm and friendly people to take care of me every time I go. The atmosphere is very soothing and I always feel at ease the second I walk in.

I was informed stylist left due to not having a license. Why was this permitted near a Ritz Carlton property? Colorist ruined my hair which had to be re-done immediately. Hair has thinned out considerably most likely due to all of this over-processing. Locker room is outdated.

Worst hair and scalp treatment ever. My hair is still oily as hell after 3 washes and the stylist (Daniel?) didnt even dry my hair completely after treatment. He told me to dry it myself. What kind of place does this? The worst part is oily hair- its killing me. I feel that the stylist didnt use the right product for my hair. Also, he didnt even do it himself but had an assistant called Flora do everything. He had to tell her about every single step on how to wash my hair, what product to use and etc. And all along he dried someone elses hair and since he didnt have enough time he had me sit in the chair and added 5 more minutes to the hair heat machine. Im not even sure if this would have been good for my hair. Worst ever. Please dont go here for hair and scalp treatment. I had high expectations for a spa place thats in this hotel, but wow.

Best massage ever! Excellent ambiance along with friendly and skilled staff made for a wonderful evening at the Spa. I will certainly be returning and will recommend this Spa to my friends.

When i need to relax i come here its well worth the money.

I know every massage will vary but this was not worth the $135 that was spent. Also, currently the sauna and steam room are broken and here is 0 privacy when changing. I unfortunately cannot reccomend this to anyone.

My experience at Richel Dambra Spa and Salon exceeded all expectations. The service and atmosphere alone were above average and instantly put your mind and body at ease. The spa professionals are eager to tend to your wants and needs. Not only was the massage relaxing and rejuvenating but the spa professionals tend to the exact locations of the body that are most tense to give you the best results possible. I have had many sports injuries throughout the years and have gone to many spas in hopes these muscle aches would be relieved. Fortunately, coming across Richel Dambra, I will never try another spa again. I cannot wait to return to Richel Dambra and recommend their services to everyone in need of a perfect day of relaxation!
