Felt very disrespected. Was visiting Orlando and wanted to treat myself to a quick pedicure before my family and I started our busy day. Searched for a salon that was open early. Google stated salon opened at 9:00am. It was 5 mins from resort. Perfect!, I thought. I arrive and a neon sign is flashing Open, so I park, and prepared my mind for a pampering experience. Unfortunately, that did NOT occur. In fact, was actually turned away. I walked in (The front door was open), the sign is flashing open, and I was told I needed to come back at 9:30 because they werent ready and werent open yet. I asked could I at least pick out my color, since I was on a time crunch, and was told No, you need to come back at 9:30. After searching and not finding amy other nail salons open in the area before 10am, I reluctantly walked back in from my car. I came back at at 9:35 only to discover 2 other clients already in pedi chairs, with water run. The two workers just looked up when I returned, one said, you came back!, but that was all. Neither invited me to go pick out my color, sit in an open pedi chair, start my water, nothing. Instead they me standing at the front door. After 5 mins of no further communication, I left. Horrible, horrible customer care. That was a terrible way to treat a guest. They did not deserve my business.

This is s cozy, local place. Convenient, quiet, easy to get into.

Just had a hair cut with Morgan for the first time. She understood what I wanted and cut my hair to perfection! Ill be back!

The first time I went here I had Tia, and my cut was very choppy, the layers were not smooth at all and I ended up going back to get it fixed. Jeanette did a great job fixing my hair and I will be going back to her in the future.

Ive been here more than 5 times and the services is great! I love the person who works at the desk. She is so polite and keeps you company while your waiting for your appointment. On the other hand, Morgan is a great stylist and really knows what shes doing. She greets you politely and talks to you while shes doing your hair. She really listens to what you want! All the other stylists are really good too! Over on the nail side, everyone does a fantastic job! I definitely recommend coming here!!! They are so amazing!

Clean, safe parking lot, hair stylist friendly

I have been using this salon for over five years now, and not once have I been dissatisfied. Walk-ins are welcome here, as are scheduled appointments. I call ahead to schedule my haircuts because the stylist I prefer only cuts hair half the week... and just so happens to be the owner too. He does an excellent job in a short amount of time even while carrying a conversation. I have used other stylists over the years, and theyre all consistent with the same calm, laid back attitudes. They all show the same passion to provide the best cuts and styles that their clients want.Theyre always friendly, approachable, and all show a generally positive attitude. I have never seen any sort of altercation involving either customers or staff.I dont believe Ive seen a single stylist leave, which says a lot about not just Salon on Central but any business: people happy with their jobs generally tend to keep that job for a long time. This Salon/Barber Shop deserves all 5 of 5 stars - I highly recommend getting your next haircut here.One more thing worth noting: As far as payments go, they accept not just traditional methods like cash and physical credit/debit cards; but also Samsung Pay, Android Pay, and Apple Pay. With digital forms of payment already taking place of physical cards, this is worth a mention.

This salon, and specifically Matt, has been giving me consistently great haircuts and color for several years. I have a long history of going to well-known salons such as the original Vidal Sassoon in New York where I paid a lot and appreciated the beautiful environment, but did not receive consistently pleasing styling. I have also observed other women and men getting really attractive styles at Salon on Central with other stylists. I would call this a comfortable neighborhood salon without the high prices of trendier appearing places in upscale locales. Scheduling appointments is easy and I have noticed tourists from this location near Sea World arriving as walk-ins.

Everyone in the salon was SUPER friendly! Rachel was my stylist and she did a PERFECT job. She did exactly what I asked her to do and was friendly. Helped calm my nerves since I just moved to the area and was scared about someone new cutting my hair! The salon prices are also great and very afforadable! Plus they are open 6 days a week! I will definitely be going back for future needs. Very impressed.

Went for a fill & was really disappointed. I had Amy & she did not even file away the dirt trapped under the separating acrylic before filling. There is now green coloration where the dirt or moisture was trapped. My cuticles were cut into quite a bit with the drill as well & it was pretty painful for a few days. My first experience here was good, but I would never have a service by this particular nail tech again. 🙁 Haircut was great (hence the extra star), so its a shame Ill never be back.

Ive always struggled to find somewhere that can cut my hair right, but once I find it I stick with it. Bernadette has got my requests down perfectly, so Salon On Central is the only place Ill consider a haircut now. The prices have crept up a little, but I know Ill be leaving with what I want, so its not a huge issue. Also never have a problem getting an appointment.

It was my second visit yesterday. I went there just for highlights 2 months ago I had one girl Jennifer do my hair, she was very nice and did a good job. This is why I went back. I really think she is wasting her time working in this salon. Yesterday I had same job done with different person, because stylist Jennifer wasnt there. One of the owners charged me 20% more, just touchup, partial highlights for exactly same job! At first I wasnt happy with the job. All roots are still there and second I think a good salon wants to keep customers happy and to come back. I was there one and half hour yesterday, there were a couple of retired customers, and nobody in the salon to offer them even water. If they charge prices like Dr.Phillips they should provide service too. I will not be returning to Salon on Central.

Usually able to slip threw without an appointment and the wait is never that long. I dont need to go to any specific stylist as several of them do a great job.
