I went to get my COVID-19 vaccine, and the staff were amazing!!! From the front desk to the nurses/ doctors. They were super nice, and professionals!!

The front desk staff, whatever title they have, are so incompetent. No help whatsoever if you need assistance with something other than signing in. A waste of time.

My wife and I received our COVID vaccine here, and it was both safe and efficient. The staff took our temperature upon entry, insisted on both masks and social distancing, and we were given the vaccine quickly. The staff was polite and professional, we couldnt have asked for more.

Worst clinic I have visited. I have called three times to make an appointment for my 9 month olds checkup and their call service takes my information, but no one has called me back. You would think that given the childs age that we would get a call back within a reasonable timeframe. Also, the pediatrician is OK, but clearly has been in the filed way too long. She doesnt seem very caring, just straight by the book kinda attitude. There was also an altercation between a patient and a security, which is not the kind of place I want to bring my young child to. I would stay away if you can help it.

I just read all these bad reviews and I have to disagree.I have been to Ryan Center for over 5 years....never had any issues.For people lacking insurance, this place is a godsend.....they only charge based on a sliding scale and is VERY affordable health care for any person who needs it.With all the pandemic and people losing jobs and their private insurance, we should be thankful that we have a neighborhood clinic to take care of our basic needs.Where can you get dental cleaning and fillings for 40 bucks? Nowhere.If you have an emergency, go to a hospital ER....this clinic is not a for ER care.

I really wanted to give this place a 5 star but given my recent experiences I the best I can do is 3 stars. I live around the corner from them so this place is very convenient. The pros: close by, they have multiple doctors and PAs who can take your appointment, they are friendly and easy going. The Cons: if you are going in for test results and you are expecting to see those results on their portal you may end up waiting much longer than usual. Sometimes even days or weeks after the results were received. This is the most frustrating thing. They do have a good call back system where you enter your phone number and they will call you back. I have tried to get in touch with my physician assistant via the portal a few times and got no response. I usually have to call into the office and hope that someone can reach her to answer my questions.

The people at Ryan Health are always so kind and treat their patients with dignity. I was able to go in for a walk-in and have my situation taken care of very efficiently. They are the best doctors and healthcare workers!

I like this clinic a lot, they have very good professional people here, since the workers at the front desk, the nurses and the doctors always treat me great, I had my covid vaccine a week ago and it was great, this place gives good care to their patiences.

Really bad experience, They cancelled my appointment but did not reschedule, when you called there the system take your messages. They are supposed to call you back but they never do it.I had to go, direct to the clinic to reschedule the appointment that they cancelled. That is not working for anyone.

Super Ghetto clinic. These people will do nothing for you. They only want you to come in so they can bill your insurance for the visit. Clinic is so negligible you have to question whether theyre really doctors. I saw the terrible reviews but after going I know they live up to the statements. I would advise any person to stay away. I had to do my Doctors job! Was that even a Doctor? 😳

Horrible experience. I called and was informed that I could get a free flu shot as a walk-in no appointment needed. I got there and was told the complete opposite. The clinic required that I register and create a medical record and then wait until the Afternoon for a scheduled appointment for a flu shot.

Youve got to remember that the Ryan Center is basically a ultra-low cost medical service facility, for people without other medical options. With that in mind, Id say they do quite a good job. Im retired, on a fixed income, and have always gotten good care from the Ryan Center.Of the many doctors Ive worked with there, all but one were skilled and attentive. Wait times are somewhat long, but not oppressively so. If you can afford main stream medical care, go for it. If not, Ryan is a good alternative.Like any other facility, it helps to be pro-active, and articulate on your own behalf. But when is that not the case?

Very bad experience with reaching this hospital. Trying for days to schedule an appointment and no one answers your phone.

Really bad experience, I got bills from my insurance when in this place workers told me blood test was covered 100%, and I told them to solve it, and they said yes we’ll fix it and then after so many months I got the same bills from a collect company, with obvious damage to my credit history. I came back to this place to solve this and their answer is, we can’t do anything, you have to talk to your insurance, is no our problem.

Beware !! this office will bill you for services they never provided. I am now dealing with outrageous medical bills for things I never received or asked for. I also called the head of the medical team to dispute the claims and was treated in a very disrespectful manner, I was even told I deserve to be paying these medical bills because “i should’ve know what I was getting myself into”. they are basically scammers.

Giving 3 stars only because of the doctor we had. It really deserves 1 or 2 stars for it’s poor customer service. When my daughter was born we really needed a pediatrician ASAP, so we decided to try this walk-in center. We got a doctor who was somewhat helpful so we kept her until we could find a better doctor. But the staff on the front desk is unbelievably rude! Every time I called to speak to the doctor or make an appointment, I dealt with rude staff members and staff who would tell us they would call us back with an appointment and never followed through. It’s not the way a health center should run. I would not recommend!

I had a 9am appointment and they requested I arrive by 8:30am to register. I’m already two hours in without seeing a doctor. It’s obvious they manage a large population of patients but it leads to an unacceptable wait time and I’m going to be late for work.

Very unprofessional. Cancelled pediatrics dentist appointment three times. The second time The Doctor assured me that the appointment won’t be cancelled again. But it happened. The doctors get sick very often in this Community Health. No options given just put on hold and nobody wants to talk.

Worst. Clinic. Ever. They mess your appointments up constantly. They never have emergency consult available. The front desk girls are worse than McDonalds’ at a drive through- impatient, rude and unwilling to help in any way. I’ve been here three times in two days for an emergency consult and nada. Nobody’s available, nobody cares to help. It’s a big mess. Don’t come here. Change your primary, trust me.

The Ryan Chelsea-Clinton Community Health Center is very efficient and provides excellent care towards its patients. I have never experienced any problems when arriving on time for an appointment and the staff are very diligent and professional in the performance of their duties.I highly recommend this place and Dr Jonathan Swartz is by far one ot the best doctors I ever dealt with in caring for my medical needs. They are super incompetent when it comes to timing with appointments. If you have an appointment at 4 they will see you at 5:30. They call you to take your vitals just so you would settle down for the next meet with the doctor. This place needs more doctors or more efficiency because people do have other things to do and shouldn’t have to wait due to the low amount of employees they have.

I bring my son here and Dr Hasan is great but the nurses are abysmal. They have absolutely 0 bedside manner and when dealing with small children in a doctors office where they might be scared of getting shots etc, it would be really helpful if they could at least be nice. Not only are they not friendly but they are use and at times seem totally incable for instance one time they were taking my son’s blood and he was crying. The nurse who was holding the arm that had the needle in it turned to me and asked if I would take his arm so she could leave. They were in the middle of taking blood?! They need to have a little review on how to work with kids cuz they are clueless

What a bad experience and disappointment of their staff, they gave me an appointment at 9:20 am, which I attended on time for respect to their professionals, but they made me wait more than two hours to be told that Dr. Taylor cannot Keep my appointment. I spoke with reception and with the assistant and none knew to give me an explanation.

Shouldnt we just be grateful that this service is here for those of us who have no insurance or little of anything, that is why we go there , right. just be grateful and happy that it still exists. If time is all we got on our minds of waiting to moan about then we are blessed.

Sometimes they dont even answer the phone and keep you waiting over two hours for your appointment. You see a different primary care doctor every time. Referrals take months and months to get filled out.

SHE IS GETTING TO KNOW ME AND I FEEL SUPER COMFORTABLE WITH HER. THEN THERE IS CONNY TEJADA- CANCER SERVICES PATIENT NAVIGATOR SHE GOES ALL OUT TO HELP SOMEONE. LIKE SHE HAS FOR ME. This is really one of the worst experiences Ive ever had while visiting a doctor. I made an appointment 3 months ths in advance. I arrived on time for my appointment. However I waited over 2 hours to see the doctor.After checking in, I waited an hour before I said anything to receptionist about my wait. Thats when she actually put me in the system to see a nurse to get my blood pressure etc.After that was over I waited a half hour before I said anything to her again about my wait. Thats when I was taken to a room to see the doctor.I waited another 20 mins before the doctor came. I talked with the doctor for TWO mins, he ordered my birth control shot and I waited abother 10 mins for the nurse to come and give me the shot.Its unprofessional and unorganized and unfortunate to wait over 2 hours for a procedure that takes 2 mins. Its also inconsiderate to peoples time.I expected better for a health center in this community and it says a lot about the who work there.I wouldnt reccomend this place to anyone.Its an inconvenience to have to travel outside of my area to recieve proper healthcare but I will for now on.

Do not pay attention to negative reviews. I go to the one on 10th Ave and 45th Street. This is a wonderful health center. I have been going there for years. I always see my primary dr. Yes, sometimes a wait but they are giving good care to preceding patients and sometimes it takes longer. Excellent care. Personal. Warm and friendly. And completely clean! I dont know where the negative reviews are coming from. And very reasonable rates. I am always grateful to the friend of mine who told me about them.

Dr Swartz is the Best Doctor Ive ever known when He left montefiore hospital in the Bronx to come here we followed and he continues to provide the best health care possible to his patients!!!!

This office put an outrageous bill for a health check-up meant to be free and now Im being asked by collection agencies to pay for tests that I didnt even ask for!

The time waiting to be call is reasonable and the staff from the Dr. to the front desk are friendly and efficient. I this place :)

Terrible doctors cancel appointments . they dont let you know. the portol email does not work. they make appointments and leave you waiting . then you check in they say you were never there!!!

I edit my original piece about this place! I shorten it by stating that budget wise this might be your place but otherwise the services I received was very poor and unsatisfactory; I even complain to the director and “he” couldn’t help resolve the issues I was having(in the eyeglasses department).

Prepared the wait up to 2 hour

A community Health center, Dr. Solis is my adviser and excellent friend. I was issue a referral letter with a specialist at Roosevelt hospital, the treatment was professional and friendly.

I have the best Doctors!!

You couldnt get through to make/change your appointment. And they never call back like they promised!
