This phlebotomist is THE BEST! I have notoriously invisible veins and she got in on the first try! She also squeezed me in when I couldn’t get an appointment. So kind, with a wonderful demeanor, and truly the best at what she does. Thank you SO MUCH!!!

WARNING !!!The location was reported to New York health department. Luciana is the nurse who blew my vein. The manager of the location said they do that and its just a bad luck. If you care about your health , do not go there. The nurse was reported, Im not even sure the nurses at this location are certified. This is ghetto , not the company.WARNING !!!

I’m usually a “hard stick” but the phlebotomist did a truly excellent job, was very patient, and helped me out when I started to get a little lightheaded from the combination of a heatwave, blood draw, and a couple layers of masks. One of the best experiences I’ve had at a lab.

This is about my experience of the most painful blood test since the day I remember myself. I literally was crying because I could not love my hand.I came back to the lab in 5 min after I realized the hand is giving me so much pain , when I showed it to the nurse who took my blood , she said: “ what did you with your hand ?” Really , what could I do with my hand in 5 minutes? I said I have the same question for her . What did you do to my vein? I did not get an explanation , she said to put some ice 😖Well , I payed $155 by the way, and let her give me enormous pain.I won’t recommend this location.

STAY AWARE!this lab can damage your health as they did to me. They wished me to get a bigger bruise when I just came to ask what to do with my hand. Two unprofessional nurses work at this location, the manager of the location is not taking responsibility. He received my complain and said this is your problem.

The nurse is extremely rude. Very impatient. She has no patient and is listening to loud music while asking me to wait in the waiting room.I really don’t know what she is working on.

Showed up and they wouldn’t accommodate walk ins saying it’s appointment only. However on the website it says nothing about appointments only. Absolutely ridiculous. I need my blood taken in order to get medication

I went this morning to get bloodwork. I walked in and signed in on the computer and within 3 minutes a technician called me into the room. She already had my doctor and prescription order in the computer. She was so polite and asked me a few questions and then drew my blood. I had read several bad reviews but this was not the case. Luciana was beyond wonderful and such a pleasure!!!! I would definitely recommend her and this office based on my experience. I hate to post much but when service is exceptional then I believe that should be noted. Thank you Luciana :)

I walked into the office without an appointment; They opened the doors at 8:00 exactly and after completing my blood-work, the staff brought me each container to verify my information was correct and they were mine, before placing in a sealed bag. Now thats thorough! Thanks for your service.

Pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to walk in and get a blood test that was requested by my physician. The space is on the 6th floor, very clean and with a nice view. Had to register on the ipad when walked in and then my initials appeared on the TV screen showing place in line and approximate wait time. I only had to wait 3 minutes after entering my information and was called into one of the rooms. The nurse took my insurance information and after entering it into the computer started drawing blood.The reason I gave 3 star is that the vials they use for collection have needles attached to them directly - not through a long cord attached to the needle. As a result every time the phlebotomist had to change the vial she pushed it into the needle hub and after 5 vials I felt that most of the needle was inside my arm and it was quite painful. Having blood drawn many times before I have to honestly say I never felt so much discomfort. I feel they need to give them better blood drawing equipment and care more about patient’s comfort. The nurse was very nice I have to say , and probably did her best with the supplies she had .

Would give zero if I could. Needed same day results aka STAT results, called ahead of time to confirm it could be done and confirmed same day. STAT was said to be 4 hour turnaround on both the call and in person. I went in and had finished my labwork at 9:30, by 4, there were still no results. The lab would not pick up the phone for me or my doctor so I went back to the lab and a woman named Priscilla proceeded to give me the runaround: first saying STAT is up to 6 hours, then when I told her it had been more than 6 hours, saying that there wasnt a guarantee. When I said that didnt make sense, she said it was guaranteed same day. This runaround continued with her telling me wed get them by 7pm and then 8pm and then at some point today. I strongly recommend you avoid this location.

Came here for an early 8am walk in for a blood test. New location in midtown which is inside Columbia doctors building. Good staff and facility.

After my horrible experience at East 57th Location.I decide it to go to 5th Ave.(47/48st) Location, 1 person there,nicean polite,very professional, her name is Luciana, I think, I was in and outin less than 20m minutes, great service.

Good location, however, I ended up waiting over 1 hour for a blood test. Staff is abrupt and not very courteous.

Waiting for 1 hr then waiting time kept increasing, only 1 person working, avoid
