The worst clinic ever do not take your children or elders to this clinic they will not be able to help, doctor leave consistently and they assign you to doctors without telling you

A health organization that does not answer the phone leaves much to be desired. Ive called repeatedly day after day with no results. I had lab work and no one called to follow up or bothered to explain what the results meant. The two star rating is for cleanliness. I will not be returning to this facility, and definitely will not recommend it to anyone.

I love my new doctor, Dr. Evelyn. (I’m happy I have found a wonderful black doctor for myself.) The staff and doctor are amazing and made my obgyn appointment so comfortable, which isn’t always the case. Yes, even with an appointment there is a little extra wait... but it’s worth it. It was the best health care experience I’ve had since moving to nyc. I will be returning.

Though I dont go there often, I can say that Ive taken my daughter there through the years and now she takes her children. The front staff can be iffy when they are overwhelmed. You can see the push for them to be nice and that still needs some work. The main complaint I have is that they only have 1 dentist who is actually very good and she is pleasant. The problem being the ONLY dentist is that their appointments are 3 - 4 months from the time you call. I just called and the woman told me the end of June or sometime in July. Not good!!!!!

The service was horrible, customer service was rude and they rescheduled my dentist appointment 3 times, and I had to wait months for the next appointment. I dont have issuance so in that time rates increased and I asked for a discount due to them rescheduling me and they declined. Once I finally made it to my appointment the new dentist was rude and overworked. She even had the audacity to ask if I wouldnt mind rescheduling my appointment. I refused, she cleaned my teeth but her equipment dint even work. The hygienist was training, which annoyed me because they conversed in Spanish the entire time which I thought was rude. They were clearly using me to help this young lady learn the ropes, which would have been fine if I was at dental school and paying half price. They take advantage of the fact that they are across from the projects. Thankfully I will be getting new issuance soon and will never return. This place is disgusting and needs to be reviewed by the dept of health.

WORST customer service I’ve ever received from a healthcare “professional” staff. Rude, obnoxious, management. Inconsiderate of others time and they hang up on you if they don’t want to take your call. I went in for a fill in, sweet girl told me an hour wait for my scheduled appointment visit, I said wow that is ridiculous! She said you can go and come back I will call your cell when it’s almost your turn. I said that’s great, thank you! She called me back and I was crossing the street, when I get in, “the manager” says Woops we called you and you weren’t here so we have to change your appointment for a different day. I said excuse me? You can’t be serious. Oh she was serious aright. Completely unprofessional and rude. Left very disappointed.

Planned Parenthood recommended the Brooklyn branch, Carribean Health. I liked that place, have since started working in Harlem and was happy to find a branch in Harlem. The doctors care. Can be a wait. I feel comfortable here unlike some fancier private practices.

I got my IUD here 5 years ago. When I went for a regular Gyn checkup i asked the Nurse practitioner to check on the strings of my IUD. She couldnt see it and referred me to an outside doctor to get an ultra sound. She said that if the IUD was in the wrong place, I might need surgery to have it removed. She professionally went through all of the possibilities of complications with the IUD. So I go get the ultrasound, after which that office tells me that CHN should have the results in 24-48 hours. So 3 days later, i call back. They still hadnt received the results. The receptionist said to give it until the next Monday. By this time Id already confirmed with the doctor that took the ultrasound that they sent the scans over to the doctor TWICE on TWO SEPERATE occasions. I called back two more times and they still hadnt received it and the doctor still hadnt called back. I repeatedly told them that this issue was very time sensitive as i am a student and leaving for school and dont have the option for this healthcare in the state of my school. If i was to need surgery it would have to be ASAP. To my surprise after a few days , i felt the string of the IUD in the shower. I immediately called back desperate to speak to anyone who could tell me what to do. Maybe i didnt need surgery if i could feel it! (the regular removal method is them just pulling it , no surgery involved). After I left the message the doctor called back!!!! however, her message regarded a message i had left days ago. Im giving this office one star because:1) the receptionist offered me/did the same courses of action every time. for example, why would we keep waiting for the referral department to request the scans from the ultrasound doctor? that hasnt worked all week and according to them you should have received it.2) i spoke to a different receptionist every time, so each time i had to explain my whole story all over again.3) They do not take your personal life and urgency into account. I informed the doctor and several receptionists over the phone. I even said if the doctor was too busy to let me know and i can find another one. no reply.4) it seems as if the doctor gets messages very delayed. by the time she got the issue and called back the issue was moot.5) i was fearful that if i waited for a response i would actually need surgery so i had to find another doctor, and have the IUD removal scheduled for Friday. I still havent spoken to anyone from here and have honestly given up.6) i didnt like hearing that i might need surgery then not getting a response for a week.BOTTOM LINE: switching doctors because it takes too long for the receptionists to relay an urgent message to the doctor, and it seems as if the receptionists arent well versed in what to do when there is a hiccup in the system. (if the scans take 24-48 hours and its been a week i dont want to give it more time i want you to do something about it because you should have gotten them so obviously something is wrong!)

I came here to check out a few ailments that Ive had for years, maybe even decades. As a typical guy I have the mindset, if I ignore it long enough, it will go away or I will block it out. I had a rash my co-workers wanted me to check out, I thought for my safety, then I realized they wanted to make sure I wasnt contagious. I had seen a doctor last year and had a Derm referral, but the cream worked and I never made that appt. because I was too busy.I saw Suzanne Black, MSN, FNP-BC. I have to say, right away you feel like she really cares about your physical and mental well-being. I felt at ease right away and wasnt embarrassed to address all of my medical concerns. I got everything taken care of, she also gave me a referral to a great Dermatologist. I found out what I was allergic to and what was causing my rashes. Now I feel rejuvenated. Finally knowing and curing what has been ailing me all those years really gives you peace of mind. Its just a shame it took me all this time to finally get it addressed. She also asked if I wanted to see the in-house Nutritionist. I was hesitant at first, but Im glad I did. I learned a few things to help me be smarter about the choices I make and eat healthier. I actually have the benefit of living with a roommate who is a personal trainer and a gym addict, but sometimes it takes an unfamiliar voice to reach you. Ive actually been in shape and ate healthy my whole life, but the past few years Ive made it a point to actually let go and get out of shape and now i realize its not that easy to once again back in shape, but with the information I was given I have a more positive outlook and am more motivated to get back in shape. From the staff at the front desk downstairs, to the nurses who get you sorted beforehand, everyone was jovial and pleasant. If anything, I may have been too at ease and making too much small talk and jokes because I felt comfortable. This might be the first time I was actually looking forward to a follow-up visit. On a side note, I had seen the other 3 reviews beforehand and it almost swayed me to look somewhere else, but Im glad it didnt deter me. Also, because the latest one was from 2014. As of writing this, I see there is a single new one from 2017. I would just say, as I do myself because I feel everyone has different opinions or preconceived notions, if youre thinking about going, go and see for yourself. Had I let the other reviews sway me, I would have never met such an attentive, caring individual and mainly, after years, or decades, finally felt like I got a clean bill of health and a weight off my mind.As far as wait times go, I always try to come an hour early if Im new and a half an hour if I have been there before. Both times I went there I did not feel like I had an overly long wait. If you make an appointment and show up early or on time, you should have no problem. Then again, Im not ordering take out. I can stand to wait a while because my health is important to me.
