Dr. Abel The Best Doctor in the world, NP Joyce, and his staff. Thank you for saving my life I am Thankful.

Opened up my head 5 times to remove a stubborn little (3.2cm) brain tumor. He had to cut through my cerebellum (motor cortex) to remove it. Safe to say this is no easy procedure, and I’ve made an absolute 100% recovery, better than I was before! Dr. Abel and Nurse (Mamma) Joy were excellent through everything. Not only keeping me informed and updated on my options, but also making sure I was taken care of during each of my visits. Dr. Abel is the most capable surgeon I know, with kind of a goofy bedside manner😉 but he’s got a heck of a partner, Joy, to help with that!Thank you for giving me a 2nd chance at all this!!

Never could get past rudest and crudest assistant to Dr. Abel. Apparently, she has reputation for her behavior and I am certainly not the first to have this experience. From the first phone call I made to office, I could not understand how someone so unprofessional & hateful could represent a practice. However, PA was kind. I could only see him postoperatively even though I requested Dr.. I saw Dr. Abel once post-op. Nurses are not concerned or caring in this office either. There is no follow up or any compassion in this office. Most bizarre office I have EVER visited.

Had my surgery one week ago , Dr. Able doesnt have much of a bedside personality if you even get to see him at all. But the msn is the absolute best at what he does. His staff is wonderful EXCEPT his nurse. She is obnoxious rude and has a horrid personality. Not to be confused with his nurse practitioner who is a great guy !! Wish I could remember his name.

He did surgery on my neck in Jan 2015, he apparently left a piece of bone floating in my neck. He had to do more surgery to remove that and I have been in constant pain ever since. I have swallowing problems now that I never had before. I went back to him, NEVER saw him, only a nurse. She said nothing was wrong with my neck. I would NOT let him operate on a dead dog. He said he was an Air Force pilot, I hope he was better at that than he is a doctor.

Impossible to schedule appointment if TriHealth. Staff quotes rules that do not exist. Auth sent to fax 5 times.. they say they never recieved it. Seems discriminatory because of the coverage. Will find another provider.

Dr Able is my hero as far as doctors go .I let a Dr Ingram at ft Sanders operate on my L 5 dear God the man nearly paralized me .I was in and out of a wheel chair for two years ,I went to Dr Able he re did my back surgery and a couple months later he did my neck surgery . I got rid of my wheel chair then went my walker then I put down the cain i wouldnt let another Dr operate on my back but Dr Able

Dr Abel is an AWESOME doctor he saved me from being paralyzed!!

My mother had back surgery, he is a true miracle worker and I thank God for this gift and all he has done for her.
