I am a fairly new patient of Dr. Haney’s (2019) and I simply can’t say enough about how sweet, kind, gentle, professional and knowledgeable he, and his ENTIRE staff have been. I am having a lot of work done due to an accident as a child that destroyed my front teeth, and they have made what could have been a horrible experience, quite bearable and even sometimes pleasant 😊. Do NOT hesitate to make an appointment with this great group of people!

In this place I feel a warmth, courtesy, kindness, professionalism, cleanliness and it goes on and on...Every time I walk in I see beautiful live flowers which shows to me a care!,Staff is very friendly and genuinely cares about a patient. Nurses Angela and Kristina went over every forms I filled in by adding detailed info during a conversation. Ive never seen nurses go through each answer you filled in like that anywhere. In Dr. Haney I see a kindness and a great skill; he seeing me explaining the bigger picture what I needed, not just what needed for this visit. Jessica and Kelsey at front desk are super nice and cute as well.Another thing made me happy was they clean X ray equipment right away after using it. Also I have to mention that there are coffee and water machine in the Lobby makes the place welcoming, warm and homey!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Haney and his staff. Warm, welcoming environment from the moment you walk in. Had a wonderful experience with my dental hygienist Katie. She did excellent work and was very friendly. Usually dread having my teeth cleaned but this office changed my perspective. Without a doubt this will be my new regular office and hygienist.

Im usually a little on the anxious side but the calming atmosphere and exam rooms combined with the caring staff had me more at ease than ever for a regular checkup.Im sad I can only give 5 stars, this practice is a 10!

Everyone at this office is so nice! I usually have a hard time going to doctors and dentists but they make you feel so welcome and at home. Hands down the best dentist east of the Mississippi! probably in the country but i haven’t been past the Mississippi ha! i usually hate the dentist and feel uncomfortable but not here! Miranda is incredibly talented at her job and makes the whole process smooth and enjoyable. McKinney is one of the dentists there and he’s been phenomenal. They both have been very transparent with me where as other places (Aspen Dental) have tried to nickel and dime me and make up issues! i will never go to another dentist for as long as i live in Knoxville!

The dentists are patient and answer all questions you may have. I feel like I can trust them to be honest with me. My appointments are usually an hour or less. I’ve never had a negative encounter here. 10/10 would recommend!

I found Dr. Haney when I searched for someone who could remove my amalgam fillings without poisoning me! He has crowned several of my teeth and I am highly satisfied with the way the amalgams were removed. He and his staff are expert at placing pain relief so that procedures are painless and you are not left drooling for hours afterward. Monica is my hygienist and she is very professional and thorough. As a person who has been through many dental procedures, I can safely say this is one of the best dentists Ive had!

I was shopping for a new dentist. Had a miserable weekend with a toothache. Called Dr. Haneys office on the Monday morning of Thanksgiving week, they worked me in. Did a root canal so that I would not have pain over the holiday! Dr. McKinney was very thorough and shared my options. I saw Dr. Haney for dentistry and then I was passed to Dr. McKinney. I asked Dr. McKinney not to give me an injection of anything other than CARBOcaine, because i am allergic. I wrote in my records that I was allergic. Dr. McKinney said he was going to inject me with PRILOcaine and I asked him if it was carbocaine and he said yes because it is the same family just a different name. I ended up leaving that office in an ambulance and he refused to give me my EPI pen even though i asked to be given EPI and gave it to the nurse before the procedure just in case since i am ALLERGIC. Dr McKinneys office called the ambulance and the records say “dr McKinney called because his patient is having an allergic reaction” and later when i hired an attorney to have my ambulance bill paid for, he denied everything, saying it was a panic attack and will not produce any records showing that I told him I was allergic to the lidocaine (i.e. PRILOcaine).ALSO THEY DELETED MY LAST REVIEW LETTING THE OUBLIC KNOW ABOUT THIS INCIDENT. Dr. McKinney and Dr. Haney’s staff are trying to hide this!! Please be cautious. I’ll keep trying to repost to make sure anyone going here knows that you have to keep copies of your own paper work at this office and also do not trust that Dr. McKinney is hearing you if you have ANY health conditions. (Attaching my previous post they had removed somehow)

If you are looking for a dentistor just have moved to the area you have found the right place and it would behove you to try at least one visit. The atmosphere is always good combined with positive vibes throughout the building. Best of all, the wait is about long enough for you to sit down and open your phone or a magazine and that’s about the time you will be called back. Dr.Haney is a local, from Greenville TN and was able finish his doctorate while serving for our armed services then started his practice in west Knoxille. He only hires the best dental-hygienist staff that are thorough, knowledgeable and Extremely likable along with a new partner that is every bit the dentist Jack is in all aspects the seem to be a great fit .. On top of not waiting to be seen he is never doing unnecessary procedures because to him it’s not all about the money it’s about you; however he does have a family to feed like the rest us but the client is #1 and you will be taken back Immediately to get started on the process shortly after walking through the door they are also able to schedule effectively without being overbearing with calls and emails Its the perfect mix to keep you informed and on a regular basis of recommend treatment. They work around your schedule and have done nothing but impress me every single time.

A friend recommended Dr. Haney as I needed to have a front tooth capped. I had put this off for sometime as I had nightmares of what the cap might look like - ug! But, after visiting with Dr. Christine Shook, I felt confident that the team Dr Haney put together in his office were true professionals. They were kind, thorough, reassuring and very professional. They researched my insurance so I knew what my costs would be, and were meticulous in their preparations for ordering my cap.Bottom line- I am thrilled with my newly capped tooth!!! It perfectly, and I mean perfectly, matches my other front tooth. I totally recommend this team.

Monica makes cleanings feel like a breeze. Had two cavities filled here about 6 months ago and it was the most painless experience! I was in and out in no time at all and they checked with me multiple times to make sure I was comfortable and not experiencing any pain. Great team!

I developed an excruciating tooth and jaw ache before bed last night, barely slept, felt miserable. This morning, my boyfriend and I started the grueling process of trying to find a dentist that helps uninsured patients, could take me quickly, and didnt have reviews making the place sound like a horror movie waiting to happen. After calling 6+ other facilities that either couldnt see me until Thursday, or didnt have options for uninsured visitors, my mom suggested I call her dentist just out of curiosity.They set up an appointment for an hour after we hung up, and the appointment went SO smoothly. I have outrageous anxiety, and the dentists chair is my nightmare, both for my fears and my wallet. Dr. Haney and his staff were very sweet, very sympathetic that I was hurting so badly, and were very thorough when they went over my information. They addressed my anxiety, my stomach issues, and made sure to explain things and keep me comfortable. They also did 3D xrays so I didnt have to choke and cut my mouth on those butterfly wing bite pieces some offices use.Dr. Haney went over what he thought was most likely the source of my pain, and gave me options for treatment, as well as what he personally recommended for the long term. I have a LOT to address, and plenty of work to do, but I never felt pushed, trapped, or used as a money tree - the worst of the issues were singled out and we found a starting point to get me on the road to feeling human again.They accept CareCredit, and they also offer a package (paid monthly or yearly depending on preference, I believe) for uninsured patients that helps with preventative care/cleanings, and takes a percentage off of other procedures you have done. Very useful, but probably more so for people that dont have a lengthly list of needed fixes like I do. I may not have a cure for my phobia of dental work, but I feel better about what Im going through after the treatment I was provided today. Thank you all!

I dont like the open area communal cleaning areas. Its basically one large area with a lot of dental chairs - without walls and doors separating the patients from one another. And while this makes it much easier on the dentist, it increases the chances of cross contamination. On every wall is a cheaply framed photograph of a cavity or a decaying mouth also. Is this suppose to remind me to brush? Its disgusting.Jack Haney seems more interested in pushing his cosmetic products than offering general dental services. Ive received the high pressure sales pitch for whitening products after every cursory exam.
