Knowledgable, highly professional, thoroughly skilled and friendly: What more could you ask for in a dentist and the team that runs his practice. Ive been going to Dr. Thompson for more than 20 years and have always been fully satisfied by his work and the work of his staff.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Thompsons for more years than I can recall. Aside from his laudable skills and knowledge as a dentist, he has something equally important. Im referring to his impeccable chair side manner and his ability to translate what he will be doing into laymans terms. He actually takes the time to talk with his patients and not to ignore their concerns in an effort to move from one patient to the next with great haste. These qualities are rare in any medical professional. I am very demanding of the people who provide care to me and generally have to assert myself to make my needs and expectations known. However, from day one Ive never found the need to do this with Dr. Thompson. It is not only Dr. Thompson who keeps me coming back, but his entire staff. The people who greet you to the people who assist him with procedures are simply the best. I have never regretted the choice of Dr. Thompson as my dentist.

I was impressed with the work done and the friendliness of the staff when I went to Dr. Thompson the first time, but when I was worked in at 10:30 in the morning after I lost a crown, I was very happy. My daughter recommended him to me and I would be very happy to recommend him to someone else.

Dan Thompson is one of the best dentists I have ever been to. My whole family goes to him! When I broke my tooth in half, Dr. Thompson and his staff saw me promptly and made me feel as comfortable as possible about my predicament. Here I am months later with my crown, which is on one of my front teeth, and no one knows to this day because my crown looks completely normal and natural. Dr. Thompson and his team did such a fantastic job not only making and putting on my crown, but also making me feel back to myself again. When I broke my tooth I was obviously devastated, but now I dont even think about it because it looks and feels that great. What I love most about Dr. Thompson is his attention to perfection and detail. When my crown came in, he paused and asked me what I thought and then gave me his professional opinion. He would have never let me walk out of his office with something that didnt make me look and feel great. And thats a fact. I highly recommend Dr. Thompson to everyone.

Dr. Thompson is amazing! He has been my primary dental care physician for almost 10 years now. The staff are very gentle, caring, friendly and nice. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. If you want a great dentist and amazing staff, this is the place to go!!

I have been going to Dr Thompson’s office for years and have always been awed by their compassion, competence and kindness. I have had a lot of dental work done (crowns, dental cleanings,etc) and always been extremely happy with the outcome. Dr T and his team are excellent.

I would NEVER go back to Dr. Dan Thompson. He was the most expensive and least attentive dentist Ive ever been to. He put a crown on a tooth that he said did not need a root canal. I was back that his office in less than a week with an abscessed tooth under my brand new $800+ crown. He wasnt able to get the crown off, so he had to drill through it to do a root canal, ruining the beautiful new crown. He said it wasnt his fault that he had misdiagnosed me, and I was out another $700+. I also have to add that I felt like I was on an assembly line with 10 other patients, thus laying there waiting a lot of the time during my visits.

Superior dental skills and wonderful staff. DDS Dan Thompson has been my provider for over 25 years. My family also trust him and I have referred many to his practice.

My first visit was on short notice and the office and Doctor Dan were timely, courteous, knowledgeble and very skilled.

The worst experience ever. This dentist removed my wisdom teeth 10 years ago and did not completely numb my mouth. I was awake and experienced the whole process that felt like he was pulling the teeth out with a crow bar, a chisel, and pliars. He also chipped and cracked two other molars in my mouth that resulted in root canals and crowns. He acted like a complete ass the whole time. I now have extreme dental anxiety due to this experience. Thanks alot, Dan Thompson.

My experience with Dan H. Thompson DDS was excellent. The service is very good. Their wide range of payment options is superior. Their lumineers are fantastic, as well as their basic cleaning services. Even though one of my lumineers didnt fit 100% perfectly (the error of the lumineer company), Dr. Thompson decided to hold off and wait a week until one was re-built and fit my tooth structure perfectly-- most dentists wouldnt go that extra mile! Dr. Thompson listens to his clients and uses his extensive knowledge in the industry to offer tailored solutions. I recommend Dan H. Thompson DDS to all my friends and family.

I decided to make an appointment at Dr. Thompsons office because I am familiar with the area where he is located. Their policy requires a prerequisite evaluation before they cleaned. I agreed and came in for my first visit in April. Two hygienists evaluated my gums then Dr. Thompson stopped by to inspect my teeth. After inspection, he suggests I cut back on the Mountain Dew because he had discovered 7 cavities! He did not show me on any x-rays where the cavities were. I explain that I do not drink soft drinks and rarely eat candy. I was shocked at his verdict. He had an assistant write up a health plan for me which outlined care for said cavities... totaling almost $1,500 (my insurance was covering about $700). I informed them that I could not afford the plan. I wanted a second opinion so I went to Dr. Showalter in Bearden. I had my cleaning with them this week. After the inspection by both hygienist and Dr. Showalter, they saw no signs of decay. Zero cavities. They showed me x-rays where I had natural grooves or pits in my back teeth that had potential to become a cavity. I decided to have them sealed at their suggestion.I felt scammed. Im grateful for the honesty I received at Dr. Showalter. Lesson learned- never hesitate to get a second opinion.

To me he wasnt the most attentive dentist, he also is expensive. I felt that he only cared about my money and not me as a patient. I am so glad I got a second opinion and switched dentist.
