Dr. Barbee’s office is wonderful. They were kind enough to examine me on short notice due to a broken crown. I’m usually anxious when I visit the dentist because my teeth are quite sensitive, but Dr. Barbee was very receptive to my concerns and made me feel at ease by explaining every procedure as he was working. This was my first visit to New Dentistry. My phone calls for scheduling and other info were very helpful. Finding 2 of the 3 forms online to fill out prior to my arrival was easy as well. The office felt safe during covid-19 and masks were worn by everyone at all times; temperatures of patients were checked before going to the treatment area. They have measures in place for the office as well as their equipment that show that they are being very cautious during this pandemic.Sydney, the dental assistant, was friendly and performed her tasks with the patient in mind. Dr. Barbee was quite polite and explained everything thoroughly and his injection style was almost painless. My one disappointment, a very slight one, was that my full crown did not get completed during this visit. But I only have a one week wait to complete it all. This was a good experience!

52 years of going to the dentist, I have NEVER EVER had a better experience. Trust me, I am not into the pain, which I had, ending in a root canal and crown. but the second to second care and respect that Dr Barbee and his assistants have for their patients is unmatched. My wife and 13 year old daughter have been going to him for a few years now, raving about how wonderful he is, as a dentist and a person, I basically thought, blah blah blah, every word of it was spot on. My only regret is I havent been going to him for the 10 years Ive been in Knoxville. thank you so much Doc for renewing my belief in taking care of my teeth. I am not saying cant wait for my next visit nobody wants to go to the dentist, but you sure make it a heck of a lot easier.

I called Dr. Barbees office after a crown came off over the weekend. The office personnel were very accommodating to my emergency. I was promptly given an appointment a few hours later. In the office the staff were very courteous and informative regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, and how it relates to my emergency dental visit. As I was called back to see Dr. Barbee, they took my temperature, heart rate and asked the questions Knox county asked to my well being Before my appointment. This office has taken the patients safety very very seriously. They have mist containment aerosols to automatically kill and disinfect airborne, should they be any, among other safety measures.Everyone needing to see Dr. Barbee for services he offers should feel completely comfortable . I felt the office personnel were trained and most accommodating to my safety. Your teeth are something you dont want to save money on. I did that when my children were little. Went with a dentist that was on our dental plan. He put in unnecessary fillings. When i realized what was going on i found Dr. Barbee and he has been amazing! One time my daughter had a crown break CHRISTMAS day. She was flying to NY the 26th. I called this dentist because mine was closed. I had an abscess come up on the roof of my mouth. It was painful and I was in a very bad mood. I was somewhat rude to him because of it. Not an excuse, just a reason. He was very nice and instead if trying to drain it to stop the pain like I expected, he did what was right and gave me antibiotics and sent me on my way.

Dr. Barbee is the nicest dentist you could ask for. Had a cleaning and a couple of cavities filled and he always made sure I was comfortable. He was so professional and informative. His staff is extremely kind and caring. Would highly recommend.

As for Rita I have to say she did an amazing job cleaning teeth. She explained everything she was doing and helped me to understand how I could help my teeth in the long run by doing a few things daily.
