Cedar bluff dental was recommended to me by a family friend 2 years ago. In the past few years I have had to have my wisdom, and a few back bottom teeth pulled. They recommended the best oral surgeon Ive ever been to, Dr. Jordon. I recently went to CBD for an exam and cleaning which went extremely well. Dr. Nations suggested that I needed to have 4 fillings put in. The very next day I started having some pain from one of the fillings and CBD was able to schedule me in for the next day! I would recommend CBD to anyone anyday!

My family and I have been going to Cedar Bluff Dental for many years, not long after Dr. Nations opened his practice. We trust this office with all of our dental needs. Any issue along the way has always been dealt with professionally. Great hygienists too that help keep our teeth in the good room!

I’ve been experiencing tooth pain this past week and couldn’t wait till my appointment with another office. Cedar Bluff got me right in the door the same day, they were very informative, and they even gave me antibiotics to relief my pain till I can get in at my other appointmentI would highly recommend this office to anybody!

Y’all I cannot express how important it is to keep up with dental hygiene because I am paying the price literally and figuratively. I sometimes cry when getting my teeth cleaned just because of the sound and the feeling. I start having a panic attack. Cedar Bluff dental is awesome! Shout out to Nikki the dental hygienist that I will be seeing exclusively!

A few years after moving to Knoxville I developed some minor dental issues. Dr. Nations had me fixed up in 2 visits. Now I am on a 6-month cleaning routine with his office. No problems since. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Thanks to all.

I have nothing but good things to say about this dental office. The dental hygienists are great, they work with my busy schedule in setting appointments for my family and my kids arent terrified to go there; to the contrary, they usually look forward to it because they get a toy out of the treasure box. Weve been going to Dr. Nations for probably 4 or 5 years. I would and have recommended him to other people.

Ongoing billing problem that I am now turning over to Tennessee Dental Association. 660 Bakers Bridge Ave., Suite 499, Franklin, Tn. for a Peer Review. I have called the office several times and each time I have been told we will look into it and call you back, doesnt happen. I had a bridge and paid $3,300 (the quoted price which included a small balance from an earlier visit). I returned for an adjustment (not seated correctly and a piece of cement left under gum that was causing excruciating pain) that I feel I should not have been charged for. I also had a cleaning (no xray) that my insurance pays for in full. Ive requested an itemized statement in detail for the extra charge of 260.00 but have not received it. If the Peer Review shows that I owe it, I will pay it but currently I have to give them 1star (lower if I could) for their unclear statement. Luckily I have kept all my paperwork to attach to my complaint to the Tennessee Dental Association.Update: Mrs. Nations called me after she saw my review. She said she had been out and was not aware I was having a billing problem. After reviewing my information she said I did not owe them anything. I appreciate her reaching out to me and adjusting my balance due to $0. I am now adjusting my rating to reflect only on Dr. Nations. Jury is still out on the billing department.

Dealing with this center has been a pain. I went there to have my wisdom teeth looked at to get them removed. What should have been one appointment, ended up being three separate appointments stretched out. When I finally had my consultation (that they had rescheduled), the woman told me I HAD to have my fillings done before getting my wisdom teeth done. When I came back to have my fillings taken care of, I told the dentist about how I was really needing my wisdom teeth taken out. She said I could have done that first, and she doesn’t know why the other woman told me that I could not. In that first consultation, I presented my insurance card and they gave me an estimate of how much the procedure would cost. They did not run my insurance card. They guessed, and it was WAY off. I got a bill for over one thousand dollars. After looking over it, I realize that they had not applied my insurance. I called them several times over the next few weeks, with them saying sometimes it takes a while for the insurance to take blah blah. They kept running it, and it kept not taking. I finally asked them to send me a copy of the claim. I realized that they had run it under my husband’s name. I never asked them to do that, I did not have him listed on any of my information I filled out, I AM NOT ON MY HUSBAND’S INSURANCE. They would have had to look him up by name, and fill out his insurance themselves because I never did. Even after the claim was continuously being rejected, they did not look into it enough to see that they had put the wrong information? After finally fixing that, I’m still making payments because their original estimate did not take into consideration that I would be well exceeding my insurance limit. I made clear that this was my first time going to the dentist, and I wanted to know that my insurance would cover it. If they had done their job differently, I could have broken up the procedures and not had such a problem. Very irritated with this center. I will not be returning, and I will take my own sweet time paying it off.
