My mom and I moved to the area about 2 years ago and have been struggling to find a hair salon that fit us. After a lot of trial and error we finally found Alchemy Salon! We both got our hair colored and cut and our hair stylists; Courtney and Kathleen were beyond phenomenal. They knew exactly what we both wanted and recommended hair products for our different types of hair after the appointment. Neither of us felt rushed and it was truly a relaxing and anxiety free experience after having a family member do our hair for 30+ years. We have finally found our home here in knoxville.

I have finally found my Salon Home!! Courtney was Wonderful. Professional. Caring and knows her stuff!! I will be back. I just walked in the door to my home after leaving Alchemy for the first time and had to write a review. Im so happy with the cut and service I could cry. After not letting a professional touch my hair in 6 years, I was beyond nervous. Courtney (Coco) knew exactly what to do without sacrificing the length of my hair. I had an idea of what I was looking to get and I didnt even have to show her pictures of it and she gave me exactly that. She listened to my hair needs, recommended products for some of the issues I had and was just simply amazing. I have found my salon and I couldnt be more thrilled. Ladies know how important it is to have a great salon and a stylist that listens! If you need a salon, Alchemy is where its at. I never go ahead and book the appointment ahead of time but I did today because thats how happy I am.

My search is over!!!! I recently moved to Knoxville and I had to search for my new stylist. Maria was professional and friendly. She took her time to get to know my hair goals and what I normally do with my hair. My hair feels nice and healthy after my cut. And my hair wasn’t coated in products either! It felt like my hair at the end of the day. I’m usually a very natural person, so this was so nice and different from any other cut I have had. I will be back for sure. It makes me want to get my hair cut more often! And I’m anxious to try their other services too!

This is my favorite salon, the vibe is so cool! They have super comfortable, nice chairs. They also have massive, gorgeous mirrors. Hailey H is my stylist and she is AMAZING. Such a kind hearted soul with an awesome talent for hair coloring and cutting. I highly recommend her!

Claudia, was very nice and very informative about how to take care of my hair, I love the color of my hair. She did a great job! And I love the shampoo and conditioner she used on my hair. And the free packets of shampoo and conditioner love them too. Over all it was a great service.

Haley/Hayley was really good and very personable. She was very informative about how to take care of my hair and gave me some free sample packets of shampoo. The atmosphere of the salon itself is great, and other employees including those are at the front desk were quite polite. The rates for services were reasonable given the care and quality given.

Hailey did such an amazing job on my hair. The color was perfect and my hair was the healthiest it has been in years. The shampoo room is so relaxing and the hot towel treatment was to die for. They are so clean and professional. I definitely recommend this place and Hailey.

Ive been coming to Coco for a while now and never been disappointed and the time flies by when Im in her chair! If youre looking for somebody new, absolutely try to get in with her! Even if you dont know what you want exactly, she will steer you in the right direction. I hadnt had my hair done in several years when I first started seeing her and now Im always excited for my next appointment and I actually like my hair again. 10/10 do recommend!

She did a fantastic job on my hair and is such a sweet soul to chat with while getting your hair done. Definitely check her out! Miranda was my stylist when I went to get my hair cut and I am a very picky person went it come to how I want my hair cut. She was very patient with me and help me achieve a wonderful hair cut that suits me and my personal style outside of work and inside as well. I had to many compliments each time she has cut my hair. She takes into consideration how I want it and adds a little twist to it to make it look fantastic!! I would go back to her again and again!!

Beautiful salon with a wonderful ambience. Kelly is amazing and I highly suggest her. I recently moved to Knoxville and was looking up different salons and Alchemy came up as highly rated and so did Kelly with her reviews. I am always a little nervous to let someone new cut my hair but she did a fantastic job on my hair as well as my husbands! I will definitely be back. They also have amazing hair care products that are all sustainably sourced.

This is the best place in the world to get a haircut for men or women. Teresa is a wonderful person. Anyone who does not go to Alchemy Salon is either misinformed or mentally ill.

This place is a full service salon with expert talent. Other patrons have raved about the massages and the facial treatments theyve had there. I only get my hair colored and trimmed there but that is all I want done. If I wanted a massage or facial this is where I would book the service. Having lived all over our country and trying salons of every price range, I can assure you that Alchemy Salon is top notch in many ways. Think in terms of The Hair Whisperer to understand. One more plus: they keep their appointment times!

Stylists with little to no experience are not monitored. They need mentoring and monitoring. My hair was completely ruined bc I trusted the employee new what they were doing. I Spent alot of money. Now, I have to go to a better high end salon to fix my hair and spend more money. They should have offered me hair services to fix my hair. Again, I trusted the knowledge of the salon. My fault for trusting. I would recommend only going to Alchemy for hair cuts only. I wish someone would have told me this.

I cant say enough good things about the folks at Alchemy Salon. They are skilled technicians who can make you look amazing in a laid back environment that makes you feel like you just got done visiting with your best friend at their house. I got my haircut a couple weeks ago with one of the owners Courtney, and not only was the experience amazing but after getting s chance to let it air dry and style it myself it is safe to say this is the best haircut I have ever had!! I just met Ashlyn yesterday, and she knew exactly what I wanted after getting to know me and my style. I usually faux my hair with a fade, and shes done the best job so far. I left feeling more confident in my hair, and I cant believe how good it looks. I will most definitely be back, and I encourage everyone to check this shop out. I went to this salon based off of the google and Facebook reviews but I didnt have a good experience. I showed the girl a picture of the color I wanted (it was natural soft brown) and my hair came out red. I was not pleased so I made another appointment to get it fixed and it turned out a deep rich dark chocolate color which is still not what I had shown her. I wont be back. The staff was friendly for the most part.

I came to see Miranda Powell after I couldn’t stand to look at my grown out balayage anymore. She transformed my hair and gave me the blonde color I’ve always dreamed of! I have incredibly thick hair, and she took her time to shampoo it thoroughly and pamper me in the process. I would recommend her to anyone! So sweet, and so talented!

Nice atmosphere- Upscale interior and none of that upscale intimidation attitude. My stylist was Ashlyn and she was awesome. She listened and executed exactly what I wanted! We recently moved to the area and I was in serious need of color and and haircut. I researched local salons and came upon Alchemy Salon. It had good reviews, so I gave it a try. I was NOT disappointed! When I arrived, there was plenty of parking and it was easy to access. When I went inside, I found it comfortable, inviting, and clean. All of the staff were very friendly. I met with my stylist, Ashlyn, and we talked about what I wanted. DISCLAIMER- I like to give the stylist “artistic license” with my hair. I feel I get the best results when I’m not tethering them with a bunch of unrealistic limitations such as a hair style/cut that is great on someone with thick, curly hair when I have bone-straight, fine hair. I like my hair to be easy-to-handle and cover up my “natural highlights” (greys). Ashlyn did not disappoint!! Have you ever had one of those colors/cuts that made you feel like you were back in your college days? Yeah, it was like that. I feel like a teenager stuck in a not-so-teenager body. The products she used were also inpressive. I normally get a little irritation and itchy scalp when getting color, but not this time. Overall, the experience was great! I would definitely recommend Alchemy to anyone, and I will certainly be back. I’ve found my new salon and couldn’t be more pleased!!
