After losing my dad unexpectedly I was given the information to Graceful Memorial Chapel. Since the was the first time ever losing a close loved one I had no clue where to begin. I contacted them the morning of his death, and immediately felt comforted. Every single person I spoke with was friendly, patient and overall just down right amazing. Each time I would contact them for a question, they always answered the phone or email and immediately had an answer. My fathers wishes were to be cremated. And when I went to pick up his ashes, the owner carried him out for me and strapped him in the front seat; securing him with the seatbelt. Anyone going through this knows how hard it is to lose someone and then trying to plan a funeral or service makes it much harder. This company made me feel at ease and made this horrible situation manageable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I wanted to express the most heartfelt appreciation for the wonderful people of Graceful Memorial Chapel. They were recommended to our family by our Mom’s hospice chaplain. James talked with me several times (and made sure I knew I could call him anytime). He was the one (on a very late night) who was there at the nursing home for our Mom after she passed. Kimberly talked with me several times and made sure our Mom’s obituary was beautiful and just as we needed it to be. This took extra work and care on her part, and that will always be part of our family’s legacy. I had so many questions and was in grief, but the kind people of Graceful were always supportive and gave me comfort and guidance. I remember Sheena and Bridgit as angels each time I talked with them. Everyone there is part of the caregiving team and I always knew I could call for support. My mom passed away a month ago and I went to several different funeral homes to try and decide where to have my mom cremated. I was referred to GMC by the woman with the hospice care company. Not only was their price fantastic their customer service amazing. They were so kind through the whole process and so patient with the many changes we wanted to make to the engraving on the urn. She helped my mother through the entire process from helping post the obituary to deciding what ern was best for him. I want to thank everyone here, but mostly Sheena. She is absolutely amazing and was born to do this job. My father passed away from pancreatic cancer recently and he was my best friend in the whole world. I was his only child. My fathers hospice contracts with this funeral home and I was a little worried at first about not being able to choose who handled my fathers final arrangements, but I was pleased and surprised with the amount of care, tact, and kindness that exuded from Sheena and the staff at Graceful Memorial. Even with the delays with many of the steps due to Covid they were still fast and prompt- I felt like myself and my family were kept updated along the way and they even offered to do something a little extra for me in lieu of being able to be present for his cremation which was so thoughtful. Sheena has something about her, she genuinely cares and grieves your loss with you. She’s a superstar who was meant for this line of work for sure. Thank you all so much.

I cant say enough about James and Kim. When your loved one passes its hard enough to deal with but then making arrangements. The hospice folks didnt leave my brother with his dignity, I wasnt aware until later when it hit me. Wed asked for him to be dressed in the suit wed chosen. James was more than happy to put it on him. He came out and said hed left his shorts on for extra padding? I remember looking at my husband crazy but then realized why later on. Long story short he left him with his dignity without making a fuss over why. I would use them again God forbid I need to anytime soon. They truly care and it shows just in their faces and voices. Not to mention all of this happening during covid. I called and they were there in no time and didnt rush me. The price for anything you decide to do is very modest. I just recieved my brothers ashes and they acted today just like the day he passed. Thank you guys, youre truly following your calling from above❤❤

Was left w/o the aid that was expected when my son died. I called on a holiday & a Sunday. They have come to my rescue. Even though they have low charges the service is exceptionally wonderful. Graceful Memorial Chapel is a very respectable place. The Owners and staff were very supportive and very caring. They explained the whole process and what was to come with my dad. The owner James even personally brought my dads cremains and a flag for his service with the navy home.

We lost my nephew suddenly just before Christmas this past year. I contacted Kim and James and immediately they took the pressure off of us and walked us through the whole process of handling his service. They were so caring and attentive. They immediately became a part of our family. They continue to stay in contact with the family offering their support even after my nephew’s service. I would also like to mention that my nephew was a huge Texans football fan. Kim and James went the extra mile by making his service extra special. They had Texans magnets made with my nephew’s name on them as well as, Texans flags for the hearse. They did all of this out of the kindness of their hearts and we can’t thank them enough. The Graceful Memorial Chapel has been a great comfort to me in my time of loss. Kim and James truly care about people and it shows! I felt such love and concern at every step!

When your love one passes, even in a hospital, you’re left there trying to figure out what to do next. My mother who passed, was to have her brain donated to science at a completely different hospital so this just added to the confusion. We called Graceful Memorial Chapel and spoke with Kim, all confusion was instantly relieved. She explained the whole process of how things would be taken care of and that they would be providing the transportation of my mother between hospitals and then back to the funeral home for cremation.With everything going on that morning, it was a huge sigh of relief to know that the, now, most important thing was being taken care of. Now let me tell you, I called a couple other places prior to calling Graceful Memorial Chapel that morning, I was told everything from “We don’t provide the transportation between hospitals” to being told that I was basically going to have to take out a second mortgage to afford a basic cremation. Graceful Memorial Chapel not only took care of arranging all the transportation but they didn’t leave me financially hurt in the process.I had the unfortunate circumstance of losing my sister 10 days after my mom and without hesitation I called Graceful Memorial. They were able to pick her up from the Hospital she passed away in (Roughly 60 miles away I believe).Before I finish this review, I have to call out Bridgit Sigford. She was who I normally talked to during the process. The care and compassion that Bridgit (and this whole office) shows, goes far beyond them “just doing their job”. You can tell that they really care about you and your loved one(s). Bridgit was beyond amazing in every aspect. So hopefully you’re reading this Bridgit, Thank You, For Everything. You turned my horrible situation into something that I could deal with by letting me know everything was taken care of, your repeated words of care, your hug because you’re a hugger and just for being you. Thank you!

It is easy to give five stars when everything goes as expected. However, the true measure of service is how someone responds when something goes wrong. Kimberly and James were amazing and kept me informed throughout the entire process. Their dogged determination and persistence led to a resolution of the problem without significant involvement inon my part. They were a pleasure to work with.
