Yesterday was my 5 year olds first dental appointment. He had a dental emergency due to slipping and falling in the shower. Hes normally scared or nervous to walk into any doctors office, but I was absolutely amazed with Dr. Olsen. He made my son feel absolutely comfortable, and he was okay the whole time. He wasnt scared at all! Dr. Olsen also broke everything down for me so I could understand what had happened. Hes the best dentist Ive seen so far! I really wish I had a dentist like him growing up, otherwise I probably wouldnt have been so scared when I was a kid. I highly recommend him!

I love this place! My kids live their pediatric dentists and they reassure them when theyre scared. They ALWAYS leave with a smile.I have a crazy schedule and they managed to fit in all of my kids so that our time was maximized.

About 6 months ago we made the switch to village family dental for my two children after having a terrible experience at another dentist office. It was the best decision we made. My son needed dental work and had to go under anesthesia. To say I was a nervous wreck was an understatement. However the staff and especially Dr. Olsen was more than understanding, patient and very accommodating. They explained everything in detail, answered all questions and made the whole process less stressful. It was difficult not being able to go back with your child for surgery, but I will say they explained this upfront before the procedure and they were very reassuring it would be ok. They day of surgery I thought my son would be terrified, but the moment we walked in they were so pleasant even the anesthesiologist was dancing as my son walked in. I believe the whole atmosphere and staff made the transition smooth to where my son was not afraid. With my son feeling good it made me more at ease as well because he was in good hands. We are patients for life and there’s no where else we would rather go to but village family dental 💕

I have been a patient for 21 years. Called about tooth pain and got in to see one of the dentists on staff ( not my dentist). Took X-rays and said I need to see an endodonist. The first available evaluation appointment they had was July 20th. So I’m supposed to deal with a toothache for 2 months before they can even evaluate? I’m in shock....this is not the service I’ve had for the last 20 years. I guess I need to find a new dentist.

Wow. Daughter had an appointment today which went fine however one of your receptionist may need some additional customer service training. An older gentleman was here to have work done but was told that he needed to fill out the COVID verification form that was sent to his PHONE! He was at least 80yrs old and had an older flip phone. After being confused and trying to find the message, I finally had my daughter to go up and try to assist him. Afterwards, the receptionist finally asked the older man if he wanted her to print out the document so that he can fill it out (obviously yes). The man agreed and he was able to get it done.Please train your staff to have compassion. Especially towards our seniors - it’s one thing to expect a 40, 50, 60 year old to have an up to date phone / smart phone and be able to understand messaging, but 70 or 80??? Customer service matters.

My child had a dental emergency and I was not allowed to go the back. This is a disservice to my child who has had a trauma that needs to be addressed. How is my minor supposed to remember everything that is said to them so that I can be informed? How does my minor know what questions to ask of the doctor? This does not make me feel comfortable come back in the future.

Great experience for my son’s tooth extractions. Aury and Haley were wonderful. Dr Olsen is amazing! It was the first time in a while that I got a follow up phone from a doctor after a procedure. Thank you.

My little guy needed a lot of dental work done. From start to finish, they were kind and professional. Their customer service is impeccable and everything was thoroughly explained. I truly felt like a part of my little mans medical team and never once felt unprepared to do my part in caring for him both before and after the procedure.

I recently had a cleaning at the Village Family Dental in Fayetteville NC.I was treated by Nikola the Hygienist. She was aware of my dental fearand calmly as well as very professionally cleaned my teeth. For some this my seem like a small thing ,but for some one who has dental phobia it means everything.

Village Family Dental is a great office. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Dr James and his assistant are AWESOME. They both answered any and all questions I had regarding my treatment. His assistant was very sweet and I wish her the best with her new baby. I definitely will be returning!

I made an appointment with this dental office to have two of my teeth extracted when I got to the office the young lady wanted to x-ray me so on and so forth. I refuse any treatment and told her that I only want 2 of my teeth pulled so she went and got another lady. This lady asked me to show her where the two teeth that I want pulled were located.. I showed her and she went on to tell me how they were not able to pull my two teeth so I asked them why would you make me an appointment I was very direct very clear what I wanted I ended up leaving and going to day and night Dental which was very professional treating me real nice and I got the service that I expect it now on Family Village Dental theyre charging me $88 for services I did not render this company will commit fraud BE CAREFUL

I absolutely loved our visit today !! From the time we came in , we was immediately acknowledged by the wonderful staff at the front !! This was our very first time there and every staff there was so nice and friendly! I love how the staff interacted with my child the entire time !! I loved everything about village family dental !!!

Village Family Dental has the kindest staff and is willing to work with you and help you with any dental issues you may have. The front desk staff is always so happy and pleasant when you walk in the door. Anadil has been so helpful and has answered every single question that I have ever had since the day we started with Village Family Dental. Dr. Olsen is a Pediatric Dentist there and is absolutely OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING when it comes to treating my children! Both of my kids love him and feel completely calm and safe when he is working on their teeth. I would recommend this office 100 times over because it is THAT good!

Receptionist were primarily focused on calling patients to schedule appointments and didn’t really focus on patients currently waiting to be seen (check in and check out). Patients were being checked out after I have already been waiting for 10 plus minutes. The office seemed understaffed. A lot of waiting around.

I believe my Dentist name was Dr. Brennan. The day before her I saw her dad Dr. Hall. Both of these Dr.s are so very professional. Her dad took me by the hand and explained things to me as only a caring dentist would. He put my fears to rest the day before I was due to have dental work done.I met his daughter today. Shes fabulous. Her assistant walked me through the procedure before anything was done. Dr. Brennan came in and polished off my visit. Although I couldnt speak because she was working in my mouth she talked to me about random things to keep my mind off what was going on. I was even afforded the opportunity to close my eyes a bit and was completely comfortable. I would follow Dr. Brennan and her assistant/staff anywhere.

Doctor Smith had done several crowns and even an implant for me. I have never had a better experience with any doctor than I had with Doctor Smith. Believe or not, considering I’m loaded down with tattoos, I was so nervous to get major dental work. Doctor Smith made my mouth and smile look so amazing with NO Pain at all... His manners and the way you are feeling are so important to him. I even had an implant, just the tooth part come loose, after three years. Doctor Smith put the tooth back and also fixed one I had chipped myself without charging me 1 dollar. He is so caring to his patients and I would recommend him to anyone for whatever dental needs they might have. Doctor Smith and his Staff go above and beyond to make sure your dental experience is as painless as possible but still look like a million bucks. I can’t stop smiling showing off my pretty whites....lol...thank you Doctor Smith, you are amazing

Dr. Terrance Smith placed an implant after I lost a tooth in a car accident. He and his team, Judy & Pam, were wonderful! Dr. Smith presented the treatment plan in an easy to understand way and Team Smith was so gentle and comforting through the procedures that I barely knew I was having something done! I thank them for their professionalism and giving me back my confidence to smile. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to Village Family Dental for a great experience from the time you walk in until the time you walk out!

All the people at Village Family Dental have been fantastic with my dental care. I will not go to anyone else but them. Dr. James and Dr. Patel are my only people I see when I go in there. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Every person I came in contact with today was so sweet and always had a smile on their face.I took my daughter for lip and tongue tie revision and it was the best decision I could have ever made. Dr. Guy made me feel comfortable, like I was in a safe place for my baby, welcomed, as though we had been coming there for years.Wait time was not terrible at all. Lobby was emmaculant. Me and my mother were insulted by the dentist and refused treatment and i was called a lost cause. I was a patient i didnt go there to get judged and insulted by the man supposed to help me do not go if they let there staff act this way then they dont deserve customers

I put one star only so I can leave a comment. Looking at the reviews a lot is about friendly staff. People, STOP posting those. Possible patients are looking for meat and potatoes NOT fluff. Get that straight. In other words, we are not looking for a smile from the staff who will do nothing for our teeth (Fluff). We want reviews of what exactly the dentist did (extractions: basic and surgical, root canals, implants, important stuff) to let viewers/readers have an understanding how well the procedure went. Or even if you got screwed by an isurance company or you just found out that the insurance you have is not in their Network. You know...IMPORTANT THINGS. Because the BEST advertisements about a doctor are....The Patients!!

Chelsea, the dental hygienist, was wonderful! She was thorough and took the time to explaining the x rays to me. She also gave tips on how to improve dental health to prevent problems in the future.

I want to say that after our visit to this office I was very well pleased at that great work they did. My daughter had to have two root canals done in one day and the work they did was just awesome! I know that if anything has to be done again like this I will be bringing her back here even if it was four hours away it was worth the drive! I couldnt ask for a better place to go then here! Again thank you Dr. James for all the great work you did on my daughters teeth. I appreciate Village Family Dental and the staff for all there great work! Thank you all again!

I never have any issues when I go here. My hygienist Lou is amazing. She always remembers to ask about my family and how I am. The staff is courteous and very helpful. Even when I have to reschedule like 3-4 different times they make it effortless for me to be taken care of. I even was nervous about a treatment I needed and the Dentist took the time to calm my fears and checked up after. As long as I’m in the area they’re my go to for dental care!

I would love to give a higher rating because I do love the staff. They are always very friendly and accommodating. However, it is nearly impossible to get ahold of them. I have been calling to reschedule an appointment for 2 days now. I even requested a call back through the confirmation text and nothing. I understand they are very busy but this is extremely inconvenient and frustrating.

Dr Patel put a crown on a tooth for me. He was very professional, and did an outstanding job. The crown fits perfectly. His assistant Tiffany was also very good at her job. She knew exactly what the dentist was going to do next, and had the next tool needed ready for him. The partial crown that I had to wear while the permanent one was being made could have stayed in as far as I’m concerned. It fit as good as the permanent one, and I never had any problem with it.(Tom) Max Fields

Seriously it isnt hard to communicate with your patient sitting in the other room about the wait. We understand. Trust me. As one medical professional to another but waisting 70 minutes without an update is negligent. The care provided was excellent, but my overall experience is 3/5 stars.

I met Dr Smith on Thanksgiving Day during an emergency visit in 2005. Hes a very compassionate and caring person to see me as a new patient on THANKSGIVING DAY. Im a big baby when it concerns a dentist, but he understood my fears and took very good care of me. Whether its just a filling or implant, Dr Smith is the best.

Terreye made a great first impression when I went in for my first cleaning at this office. After learning I was going to need some fillings done I became anxious but Terreye made sure to make it known I was in good hands. Dr. Smith Wiles and Theresa made me feel so comfortable when I had to go in for quite a bit of work. Theresa and Dr. Smith Wiles made sure every second I was feeling okay and cared for. Usually after the dentist I could tell where I had my fillings done or were rough but Dr. Smith Wiles did great work. I’m so happy to have found a dentist that I’m finally comfortable with.

Dr. Molly Guy did a lip and tongue tie revision on my daughter when she was 7 weeks old. Of course I was nervous, but the program they have for this procedure is INCREDIBLE. The lactation consultant is SO informative - I learned so much from her about lip and tongue ties and the long term impacts they can have. Dr. Guy was kind and patient - she fully answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable with what was happening. Everyone from receptionists, assistants, body workers, etc. were great and the 4-week follow-up protocol helped ensure my daughters recovery was going very smoothly. My extremely fussy, agitated, and uncomfortable newborn is now a healthy, happy, sweet, and relaxed baby thanks to her revisions. This team is a true gem in Fayetteville - Im grateful we found them!

I want to say of all the dentists that I have seen. Dr Patel is the best dentist of all. He is what I wish all dentist were. But the other dentist I have seen does not even compare to the care that you receive from him. He has always been very gentle while looking in my mouth. And the fillings he put in my mouth looked great. I will only see him when I make an appointment and as a plus I never have waited longer than a few moments and the staff are friendly and caring. Not professional. Lacking in communication. Not patient friendly. Have gone there for almost 10 years. Will not go back or recommend. The dentists need a lesson in personal hygiene. Need better communication between doctors and staff. Two consults for the same issue and still didnt receive treatment. Didnt follow standard procedure of cleaning or complete exam before or during consultations. Totally confusing and upsetting. Will go to another dental practice for my care.

Dr. Jordan = Amazing Peds Dentist!I am near heart broken that Dr. Jordan is no longer working in Cary and is now going to be in Fayetteville full time. So I called this dentist office a month ago to schedule an appointment for an extraction I made it very clear I was very specific I did not want to consolation I wanted to have my teeth pulled so I get here today and theyre telling me they cant pull my teeth they want to send me to another dentist across the street and Im like okay I made it clear I took the day off from work made these arrangements so that I can have my teeth pulled somebody is incompetent in this building a total waste of my time Im not sure what they billed my insurance for but Im going to find out because they did not perform or provide any services to me but I did go down DAY and NIGHT Dental on Skibo Road and got excellent service were able to get both of my teeth extracted good job Day and Night Dental

I went in with a very bad infection in my mouth scared to death because I havent been to a dentist since I was a kid and Im 31...nobody made fun of my teeth situation I felt NO judgement which was big for me and by the time I was walking out after my procedure I was laughing,joking, and feeling like a part of their family...and no I wasnt given anything to make me loopy I was just happy I went to them instead of anyone else! Bottom line if you are scared of the dentist or you just want great treatment this is where you want to go!

My daughter needed to be sedated for one cavity. When she got out of the room she had metal brackets all in her mouth and was told she could never chew gum or gummies again. One cavity does not require multiple teeth removal and the dentist didn’t even get my permission. Save your child’s teeth by visiting a more professional facility.

A waste of time, Tuesday was called back after canceling morning of my daughters oral surgery. Winter weather advisory. Black ice and school delays. I was told Did not give 24 hours notice, mother nature does not give notice and I think our safety was more important and on top of that over a hour drive. The woman I spoke with was very understanding.I wanted my daughter to have her surgery just as much as this cold dentist wanted to cash the check for this procedure! The dentist pictured on their group photo is on their website, he is the one that is all the way on end on right side. He had his sweet assistant call back say the dentist said he couldnt finish at all! This would have been our second time, America all ready screwed up with lousy greedy healthcare system that only cares about a dollar. Reminder to this practice.

I just switched to Village Family Dental and I am very happy with the quality of care received from the hygienist to the dentist, Dr. Smith-Wiles. I had a tooth that was giving me pain and was able to get in quickly (even though I was a new patient) and get it resolved in a very short time. My entire family has switched to this practice and we couldnt be happier. My youngest is actually going to be getting braces soon with Dr. Alvey, the orthodontist at Village Family Dental. Were very excited that we are able to get all of our work done at one practice versus having to be referred out for other services. Village Family Dental has the right idea of combining all dental services under one practice. This is a huge convenience for my family (just going to a referral and having to do all the insurance paperwork for a one-time treatment is time consuming). I highly recommend Village Family Dental!

I dont remember which dentist I saw but the whole practice was wonderful! I recently received a botched dental job from another local dentist in Fayetteville which is why I decided to go to a new dentist. I knew the other dentist was terrible but Village Family Dental seriously blew me away.The staff was professional and nurturing. All of my coworkers recommended this practice. I should have taken their advice from the beginning! Thank you so much for the fantastic service!!

Customer service is NOT okay! After having to complain on the orthodontist side so much, instead of contacting me, they canceled my services all together! Communication is horrible & they’ll blame you when you complain.

Thanks to Dr James and Sindy, they always takw the best care of me and my teeth. I’ve never had an issue with neither one of them I would personally recommend people from all over Fayetteville to come take a visit at Village family dental

Amazing! Im so very thankful for your services. I have had anxiety issues concerning dental work for several years and avoided getting my teeth taken care of. Dr. James and his staff gave me the courage I needed to be begin working through it. The respect and gentleness concerning my issues brought tremendous comfort. The sedation procedure was wonderful and gave me the first step in coming out of my fear of the dentist. You are all a God-send! Thank you!!!

My experience here was that the dentist cut corners a lot to get things done. When I got my fill in done here it didnt last at all and when they fixed a dental issue I had involving a chip tooth it was completely obvious, whatever he did resulted in me looking like I had a tooth that was half white on one side and yellow on the side that he supposedly fixed. My last visit I was stuck with a needle several times and the dentist still could not numb me. This resulted in me being told to come back another day. Oddly I received a bill from them eventhough my tooth was not handled that day. In addition, I was sent a check through the mail from them for being overcharged during another visit. Thankfully I found a better place.

My visit at village family dental is a great experience the customer service is very professional the nurse are so nice and dr. Patel is the best I will always praise him and his staff forever because of them I could smile again. I will recommend village family dental to everyone and anymore!!!

The staff is very friendly, The wait time is short,its clean and pleasant. Ive never had any problems.

The doctors are wonderful but the lady at the front desk I dont know nice but did not answer my question .. I came in at 11am asked if my appointment was at 11am got no answer then waited an hour and 15 minutes because my appointment was at 12 pm had to go back up to the desk and ask someone else she was nice who then told me I was to early for my appointment.

People are horrible human beings. First their lactation consultant, Sarah, who works for herself on the side referred me here for my 2 week old baby for tongue tie. Then I find out she works here. But being a new mommy with a 5 pound baby failing to thrive I was desperate to help my little one. Dr. Guy spent 1 minute assessing her and said she needed lip and tongue tie surgery. Aka frenectomy.After having the surgery my little one declined further, couldnt swallow, had an allergic reaction (hives) to their homemade tincture.Horrifying.After a month, and our pediatrician telling me that because we did the surgery it caused her to decline further, if she didnt start gaining, it would mean a feeding tube.Dr. Guy on the surface was polite and offered her cell phone for help after the procedures, but when I brought up the hives and additional weight loss in the follow up all she said was to stop using the tincture ...which is what I did anyway. And that it takes a month to recover. Which is not at all what my baby (a baby in decline) needed. No apology or compassion. It made me feel like any issue, youre on your own! No accountability.And that was bad enough, now their front desk assistant Jessica is disgustingly unwilling to acknowledge that I made it crystal clear we couldnt afford the $600 out of pocket if the insurance didnt cover it.Now 3 months later Im getting statements for over $600 not matching EOB. And her response is she has no control over statements... That theyre from a 3rd party.Bottom line, Jessica wont acknowledge that I emphatically explained that we would NOT allow the procedure if it was going to be so expensive, insurance or no insurance!!!!If you dare bring your baby in you will see the assembly line of mommies with babies that surely rack in the $$$$$ for this 30 second procedure.It took out little one 2 months to recover in weight. A month to recover from the hivesI suspect that it will be much longer arguing over their billing.I should sue and so should anyone else that has to suffer their malpractice and lies.

The staff is friendly and listens to your concerns. They are fantastic with kids and really work with you to best manage your care. Can’t recommend them enough!

The dental hygienist does an excellent job and so does the dentist

My whole family of 7 is seen at Village for general dentistry and orthodontics. Every one there is super nice. Its like the Chick Fil-A of dental offices!

My problem started out when the receptionist was unable to find me in the computer due my birthday being inputed wrong. Then all I needed was my x-rays sent to my new dental office. First time they only sent PART of the record. I called to try to get the rest and was told that I needed to leave work early to sign the SAME form in order for them to give it to the new office. Mind you, they were the ones who made the mistake and didnt send all that was requested. I asked to speak to somebody else, the girl had a attitude saying who do you want to talk to then left me on hold for over 15 minutes! I hung up and called back, speaking with a very pleasant young lady who said she would resolve the issue yet AGAIN it wasnt sent.This was only my second encounter with this office (having x-rays and standard cleaning) but after the headache I am having to go through Im glad I choose to go somewhere else ! Smh
