What good is an urgent care center if it closes randomly? This was closed at least before 4pm, if it even opened at all. This is the 2nd time they were closed unexpectedly out of my 3 recent visit attempts. This time, the location in Maple Valley is also closed. Ridiculous.

I arrived right at 8am as a walk in, and they were able to see my right away. I came in for a simple issue, but I was in and out in 20 minutes. I felt the staff was organized and professional. I felt comfortable with the COVID guidelines they were following. The building was very clean. My only complaint is that the website does not allow you to schedule an appointment until 8am when they open. It would be helpful if I could schedule an 8am appointment before 8am. Fortunately, on this day, coming in as a walk up was not an issue.

I have been using this urgent care for about 14 years for various reasons. Chronic migraines being one of them. I would frequently come in for a toradol shot as its not a narcotic, and worked better than tylenol or aleve. The last few times Ive been in, twice I had Dr. Mehta. He refused to give me the shot because Im allergic to ibuprofen. I told him Ive had the shot from this clinic multiple times in the past, pull up the record. He looks in the computer, lies to my face, and says theres no record of that and sent me away. I was there twice in that same week because that migraine lasted 8 days. The second time I went in, I was hoping for a different provider. Nope, Dr. Mehta again. Again told no shot. Wound up at my primary care dr for the shot. Most recently, went back to the UC for another migraine on 2/25/21. I saw Gurvinder Dhillon, ARNP. She was completely worthless. Told me I couldnt have the shot because I was taking the same medications I have been taking for years, and it might cause a reaction. Literally, the same medications every other time they have given me the shot at that clinic, and it might cause a reaction. I said, so you arent going to do anything for the pain. She said no, just keep doing what youre doing. If that was working, I wouldnt have wasted my time going there in the first place. I got billed 102.59 for them to check vitals and tell me to keep taking tylenol. She was completely worthless. Wound up going back to my primary care dr for the shot. And here I sit with another migraine. Ill tell you what...Id rather risk dying of a brain aneurysm than to go back there and ask them for help for my migraine. What a joke.4 stars given because they are wonderful in every other area like acute injury, illness, asthma issues. Dr. Nijjar is absolutely amazing. If you need a PCP, and hes accepting new patients, I highly recommend him. Awesome bedside manner.

It saddens me to say they are misleading when stated that its an Urgent Care as the sign out front states. Urgent care is in our insurance plan. Took my wife to get what ended up to be two stitches. We have a $35.00 co pay with Urgent care.Staff was professional and friendly. Weeks later we received a bill for $195.00. Contacted the billing department and was informed that they are billing for emergency room fees for surgery because they are affiliated with the hospital. We have informed our insurance and I am filling a complaint with the AG for misrepresenting themselves as an Urgent Care facility which gives a false impression of Urgent Care rates.

My rating is based on more than one visit.Recently my child went to this center with a concussion - after telling the Dr. Mehta she was feeling confused in normal conversation and while driving, he told her to be careful and let her leave. She did attempt to drive, realized that wasnt a good idea and parked and called a friend for a ride. This created a very dangerous situation for my child and potentially for others.Last night we went back to the center because of stomach flu bug... my child had been vomiting since about midnight and other stomach flu symptoms progressed through the day. Being a bit dehydrated we felt it would be good to be seen and possibly get some fluids for the dehydration. They confirmed the stomach flu. As for re-hydration, we were told we needed to go to the Emergency room as the center does not have IV fluids nor do they even have the necessary equipment to administer one. What a complete and total waste of my time and $$ to be at this location. And yes, Im sure I will get a big fat bill from them for doing nothing. After these two experiences, Ill never go back.

My daughter went in to try to get a prescription for tonsillitis and was having trouble breathing. She was turned away because they arent equipped to handle that???She was told to driver into Renton to see another Valley office.I called and the nurse was instantly combative and told me she needed to go elsewhere.Stay away, no bedside manner, selectively serve their ailments of choice....

This is my go to clinic because of him and Dr. Fenney, Ill admit there are a few doctors who could care less about you especially Tatiana and rijiar and lovely but other than them this is a great clinic Ive been going here since I was 13 Im now in my 20s and if these great doctors left I would stop going there but I hope they see this review thank you Dr.Mehta and Dr.Fenney for all the years of your help! :)

I went in to get screened for covid having previously been very sick, they took my vitals and asked a few questions (took about 10 minutes), then sent me on my way saying I was not eligible for the test. They then sent me a big bill. I spoke to several people at UW submitted an appeal to the bill because it should have been a federally funded screening. And after a month received no reply but another copy of the bill. I have worked with UW medicine for a few years and will not be going back. They over charge for every service . I stressed my concern that I believed i had contracted the virus and had , for more than a month, had symptoms, it was my responsibly to get screened. I feel it was negligence and stinginess for not testing me and sending me a bill.

Wish I could give 0 stars.. Horrible experience this weekend. In there 3 days in a row...due to sub par treatment. I am going out of my way to avoid this clinic going forward. I will also share my experience with my insurance company and personal network. Felt like I was in an Express line at the grocery store...rushed!Finger and hand got infected because no antibiotics were prescribed. The policy around not prescribing antibiotics is actually a bad practice. If a patient was having surgery in your hospital, they would get antibiotics before and after...that being said...why would an actively bleeding laceration not at least get follow up antibiotics? My experience now has my whole hand infected, requiring multiple antibiotics being prescribed. Proactive medicine is taking care of the patient...rather than looking out only for the business financials...which is what I felt was a driver in my treatment.

I drove to this place on a Sunday from my home in Auburn due to the good reviews I read online. I am going to say that I was not disappointed. This place is wonderful. Great location, ample parking, wonderful, friendly staff, and the doctor that attended me was professional and kind. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you Valley Medical.

Went in with very painful headaches after getting hit in the head on NYE. The medical assistant who checked me in and got all my vitals was great but Dr. Nijar was barely in the room for 5 minutes and didnt listen to a word I said, he barely touched my head and said just keep taking advil even though it was not working for me. This is my second bad experience here and will definitely not be coming back. Went to a different Urgent Care and was told I have a concussion and got a prescription for the painful headaches.

I wrote this experience down and filed it in a to-do folder that was misplaced until last week. I realize that some time has passed between then and now but the way I was treated had a lasting impression on me; so much so that when my OB recently suggested that I select a primary care provider associated with Valley Medical Centers Covington Primary Care Clinic (located within the same building), I was quick to decline.I went to this Urgent Care clinic near Valentines Day in February of 2016, after finding out a couple of weeks prior that I was pregnant. I had started bleeding rather heavily at work and feared I could be miscarrying. When I checked in I told the receptionist what was going on and asked her if they would be able to run whatever tests were necessary to figure out what was going on? She assured me they would take good care of me and I filled out the necessary paperwork, waiting to be called back. I was joined by my daughters father and after about 35-45 minutes we were called up by a male nurse. He never introduced himself, spoke in an exceptionally rude tone, and after we arrived in the examination room he asked me, Aaand who is this; the Uber driver? gesturing to my daughters father. I was absolutely infuriated but tried to keep myself calm and corrected him stating that his name is Devin and he is the father of my child. We are here to make sure our baby is okay. I explained that I had started bleeding at work. He proceeded to check me in and then we waited another 30 minutes for a doctor to come. The doctor was a bit more formal but she didnt offer to examine me or run any other tests to check the status of my child. She announced that, based on my symptoms, I was likely having a miscarriage. She told me flatly that I should just go home and brace myself for it. She followed that up with, If you want a second opinion you could always go to any other Emergency Room and they will have access to all of the things you are requesting. I was both shocked and completely bewildered at the lack of empathy or concern for my well-being and that of my (at the time) unborn child. I gritted my teeth and explained that I had asked the receptionist about that exact thing and she had assured me that because there was a Pediatric doctors office right next door they would have everything they needed right there.I left this appointment feeling hopeless and like I had completely wasted my time waiting. I was pissed that my insurance would be paying for a visit that gave me nothing but a head and heartache. That day I made a decision to go against what the doctor suggested and to believe (in my heart) that my child would be okay. I made a follow-up appointment with my OB the following week and as it turned out, I had a perfectly healthy pregnancy and my daughter was born October of 2016. So much for the diagnosis of having a miscarriage...

The receptionist and medical assistant were friendly, that was the only positive thing about my experience. The doctor, however was condescending and dismissive. She cut me off before I could finish listing all my symptoms and just arbitrarily declared me healthy. She ran absolutely no tests, merely checked the vitals her assistant took, and said I was fine. I am not fine, I am still very ill, weak, shakey and fatigued, have been for well over a month, and still have no idea why. I struggle to eat and keep food down and have lost 15lbs in the past month as a result. Wasted almost a full four hours waiting to be seen as well. I was okay with waiting, though, because I assumed it meant each patient was getting thoroughly checked, tested, and cared for. Guess not. Im glad I do not directly have to pay out of pocket for such an abysmal appointment as my insurance covers it, but it still chafes to know that Dr. Storozhuk will be getting paid for essentially doing nothing. Im genuinely concerned for anyone else who finds themselves under her care in the future, as well.

My wife took our daughter to the clinic this morning and said the entire experience was very positive. From the nurse to the doctor to the receptionist, everyone was friendly and helpful. They were seen quickly and having things handled in a professional and courteous manner made a big impression in our mini-crisis situation.

Overall I would say this place is better then most urgent care places and is faster. I had a real bad fall off a ladder and I was seen very fast and the care was real good. Not sure why the lower star rating from others but we have been to most urgent care offices in the area and this was the fastest abd best care for sure.

Staff was friendly. But that is the end of anything positive. Went in for a flu test..doctor refused saying it was just a cold. All he did was a minor exam. No flu test! Sent on our way. Waited almost an hour to get in. Waited more in room (which Im OK with when there are other sick patients) doctor spent less than 5 minutes. 3 days later go to our regular physician (symptoms getting worse)...flu test come back positive along with other ailments. Urgent Care totally missed the boat. Total waste of time and money on my part and my insurance. Dont waste your time going here. You are way better off going to your regular phyisician. If I could give zero stars I would. The additional suffering over the past 3 days is inexcusable. Shame on the doctors!

I brought my daughter in for an ear infection and was very impressed with the MD who saw her. She saw my daughter in pain and was very kind to her, even stopped what she was doing to get her medicine, popsicle and a drink right then. More than that i appreciated her advise and that she gave a referral to a good ENT. Im a pediatric nurse so I appreciated that the MD had a good bedside manner in addition to being very good clinically.

Waited 45 min from appt time. Provided an urgent referral to a local Doctor whos office girl would not honor with less than a 3 wks wait. She said she read the request and decided it was not URGENT. Now the toe is swollen and discolored and painful. Since when can a doctor referral be reevaluated by an office attendant?
