I recently started going to smile on and the staff is professional friendly and efficient. I am never waiting long and they provide top level treatment. They are knowledgeable about what’s going on and upfront about any costs.

I recently went to Smile On for a cleaning and had a great experience! Dr. Monika Singh was caring, knowledgeable, and thorough! She prioritized educating me about my dental health and helping me understand how to take care of my teeth in the long-term. She explained her recommendations clearly by walking me through the films they took minutes after they were done. The staff was great & the office is very welcoming.

Always been nervous about going to the dentist because of a bad experience with other doctors but Dr Singh was very conscientious and delicate from start to finish. I felt a lot better about the process because of it.My teeth look and feel squeaky clean and I am looking forward to my next dentist apt with Dr Singh!

Im usually skeptical about reviews and i never really leave them, but I went to Smile on Dental on 9/17/2020 for a routine cleaning and a filling, turns out it was more to it then that and i need extra work done. I had Dr. Nicole Kujawa and she was very informative and walked me through the upcoming procedures and showed me what my options were. Never once did i feel like they were trying to do extra work for extra money.The whole visit took about 1hr 45min and Dr. Kujawa was awesome along with her assistant. all in all the procedures cost about $735 ( before insurance). I walked out feeling good about the procedure. I will be going back and will now have a permanent dentist. 10/10 would recommend

Easily the most thorough cleaning Ive ever had - thank you! The dental hygienist was friendly and was great at explaining what she was doing and observing. She and Dr. Kujawa both were super knowledgeable about the issues Im experiencing and made me feel very comfortable that they understood me and could help. Dr. Kujawa explained her treatment plan clearly. The receptionist was also great - I liked that she looked up the pricing for each component of my treatment plan including when payments would be due, so I have a clear idea what to expect. Im excited to finally have a dentist that I see regularly and trust!

Would give this place 0 Stars if I could. They wasted my time and conned me into paying a $178 consultation fee, knowing they were out of network for me and LIED about it multiple times. Also lied to me and said no provider for this type of work would be in network for me, trying to pressure me into completing the services at their office. How unethical.

Really friendly staff all around from receptionists to hygienists to Dr P. I have a lot of fear associated with dentists because my childhood dental office was very harsh and critical, but everyone here makes you feel really comfortable. They don’t poke too hard and use updated technology to make your life easier. My only complaint is they seem to have issues with my insurance a lot, one that’s been ongoing for a year. After every appointment they say the office manager will contact my insurance and be in touch after 1-2 weeks but I never hear anything.

What an efficient and attractive office. I saw Dr Kujawa.She is extremely thorough and gentle and speaks in such a way that I want to do everything she says! Never thought I would say this, but I look forward to going back to see her and have her and staff take care of my teeth!

I chose this dentist because the flexible hours (open nights and weekends), but the staff will keep me coming back. I have very sensitive teeth and hate dental work, but the hygienists and Dr. McDonald were very kind and patient to help me feel at ease. They were quick and thorough. I also really appreciated that they checked what exactly my insurance covered and outlined all my options through that lens.Another plus: this place is independently owned, so they don’t try to sell you all the extras a lot of franchise dentist locations do.

I have had the good fortune of having Dr. Nicole Kujawa as my dentist. Dr Kujawa is very professional and straightforward. And she cares for her patients. The staff work as a team and are very caring and knowledgeable. They work to put you at ease. I would recommend this office and dentist to anyone.

Really liked the dentist and his assistant.Planned to come here for all my dental care.However, there has been a problem with an overpayment. My dental insurance provider, Aetna, confirmed that this is the case and requested to Smile On to refund me overpayment amount. No response to my numerous emails to office manager of Smile Om and she has not responded to calls and letters from Aetna.I am very disappointed in the lack of responsiveness and professionalism from the office manager of this business.I continue to await resolution. This has been an ongoing issue for over 3 months.

Have been coming here for a couple years and its been great. Ive never had to wait long in the sitting room, typically Im inside in 5 minutes and someone is cleaning my teeth within 5 minutes after that. Really no complains and its right off the 77 bus and near the Belmont red line.Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Poncza is my dentist and hes just as nice as his staff. Really no complaints coming here. They have text/email alerts to make sure you dont miss your appointments which is nice, but definitely check this place out if you havent already!

Great dental studio. They take most insurance (at least all the ones Ive had), and are always prompt and friendly. Hygienists are very courteous and gentle, and the doc is great! Have moved much further away but I still come here

The Smile on Dental staff is externally professional and attentive. The staff is always on time and very little paper work on first appointment! Great hours and availability. I also take my son and husband there, and its always a good experience! Theres plenty of street parking, and great location!

I am not an easy patient. I get scared of dental work so much that I havent been to a dentist in YEARS. Doctor McDonald and his amazing staff quickly put my fears to rest. They were all so informative and caring that eventually i was at ease with the dental work I desperately needed. Flash forward to my check up afterwards a week later and I am already comfortable and confident enough to schedule future appointments to fix all my other dental issues that need attention. I will recommend smile on to my friends and family.

Leaving another five star review for Dr. Poncza and his staff. I have been coming here for years now and even though I no longer live near by I still keep coming back. Dr. Poncza and his staff continue to be very , knowledgeable, patient, professional, and compassionate. They have gotten me through some major dental emergencies and have corrected much damage done by previous dentists. Cant recommend them enough.

I went to Dr. Poncza because a friend recommended him and Im so glad that I listened! The staff at Smile On cant be beat. The receptionist was very kind and the office was clean but the service was poor. The dental hygienist was not thorough (I could feel her missing spots on my teeth) and seemed to be rushing through the cleaning. The dentist looked at my teeth for maybe a minute before deciding that I had a leaky filling and that all of my fillings were due to be replaced (from amalgam to composite). I got a second and third opinion over the next six months and both dentists said that no fillings were leaking, and told me that no work was necessary.Had I not sought out other opinions I would have spent a lot of money and had a lot of unnecessary work done. The office was nice and the work was gentle (albeit rushed), but I wont be going back due to recommendations for unnecessary work and a rushed appointment.

What a great organization. Everything is clean and everyone seems to be very timley. Dr.Poncza and all of his staff are very thorough. Ive always had a 5 star experience here and look forward to coming back every time.

The staff made all efforts to make sure that I was okay during my complete dental examination. The doctor was great and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to all.

Unfortunately my job requires that I visit dentists all day and it was due to this process that i chose this practice to be my dental home. Although only needing cleanings (so far) and not making the sleep connection while wakign up with the occasional headache and jaw discomfort. I followed Drs advice and did my sleep test. Now I have been wearing my dental appliance for over a year now and it has really made a difference for me. The team is stellar and they know how to process my insurance correctly. Communication is all done through text or email and I appreciate it when businesses adjust to my lifestyle. Thanks Smile On see you in a couple of months!

I cannot say enough about Dr. McDonald. He is a dentist who truly cares. (Five stars for Dr. McDonald and Ebony all day long #DreamTeam).I recently had a less-than-positive experience booking/rescheduling my appointment at SmileOn. Though Dr. McDonald was away at the time, he personally followed-up upon his return and did everything possible to make it right.Despite the mixed experiences Ive had with the administrative team at SmileOn, Ive recommended countless friends and colleagues to Dr. McDonald and stand by my recommendation.

Ive been going to this office for years and Ive seen both Dr. Poncza and Dr. McDonald. The hygienists always put a lot of care into their thorough cleanings and give thoughtful advice. The dentists put the same care and thoughtfulness into their inspections and advice. They run a very efficient system where their hygienists spend time talking with you about any concerns during the cleaning. When its time for the dentist to come in and do their inspection, the hygienist has already gone over almost everything, but the dentists usually give some notes as well and they have always been happy to discuss anything further -- Ive never felt pressured to get out of the chair before all of my questions are answered. Prior to my going here, I had an old dentist tell me I needed crowns to replace 2 old leaking fillings, but Dr Poncza advised that crowns are not necessary and he replaced them with composite resin. Ive had them for years now with zero issues. Ive needed zero new fillings since I started going here. The office and their procedures feel very clean and sanitary, which is a very important factor for me (Ive been to some skeevy offices that I would not return to). Finally, Smile On isnt in my current insurance network, but they were more than willing to work with me and my insurance company to determine my out of network costs and bill my insurance company directly, even though they arent in network. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

While visiting Chicago I had a filling come out. Dr Poncza was able to take care of my issue promptly and was very impressed with his office. I would definitely recommend Smile On to anyone in Chicago!

Smile on is the best, I switched dentist recently and can already tell the smile on is much better. They really go above and beyond to make a trip to the dentist as postitive of an experience as possible.

I was a bit nervous going to the dentist on Saturday. Every since I was little, Ive always been afraid of the dentist even though I never had a cavity. I felt my last dentist only did an ok job.As soon as I walked in the door, the girl at the front desk was super friendly and nice. Even Dr. Paul walked by with a smile and said, Good Morning!The waiting room is a bit small, but they have a cool electric fireplace that would change color every so often, a tv with HGTV on, and a keurig.A few minutes later, Natalie (the dental hygienist) came in with a huge smile and was very friendly, which helped put my mind at ease. She brought me back and showed me where to hang my coat. Then, showed me to the examine room. Xrays were taken, gums examined, and a cleaning was done. She did a fantastic job! Much better than my last dentist.Later Dr. Paul came in with a smile and checked out my teeth. He recommended that I start Invisalign to help fix some jaw issues I was having.Overall, a great experience and the best dental team!! I will definitely be back!

Dr. Poncza is probably the best dentist I have ever been to. The initial exam was very thorough and treatment was excellent and painless. He did quite a bit of work on my teeth (including a bridge and crown) and it all came out great. You can really tell that Dr. Poncza truly cares about his patients which is hard to find these days. The office is very clean and up to date with comfortable chairs and tvs. The staff is very friendly and upbeat. I would highly recommend this place.

Our experience with Dr. Paul and his staff has been very positive. Our home is not in Chicago, but their service makes the short drive from Detroit worth it. We consider it our excuse to visit the city every 6 months :-)

Due to my horrific experiences with dentists in my youth, I developed a real loathing of a trip to the dentist. Ergo, Id avoid the a visit at any cost and my dental health was, lets just say, not the best!That has all changed since I have been going to Dr Poncza! Dr Poncza preformed the much needed work with great efficiency and skill, thoroughly explaining the treatments step by step. I was also very impressed with the state-of-art equipment and professionalism of his office team, especially Jessica, who straightened out the mess the city created with my dental plan. To say the least, I would highly recommend Dr Poncza and his team!
