They gave me quick 3D scans of my mouth which was quick and not invasive. Dr. Pragna and her lovely technician were amazing. They accommodated any request I had and the deep cleaning was exemplary. I always love coming here to get my denta services. Liked dentist Benjamin and sadly he left the east village. Came here recently really and glad to see that they hired new dentists. I had this new dentist a young lady give me an exam and she did a great job answering my questions and even noticed something I hadn’t before when she took a look at my teeth. Will keep coming back here because I love the people at the front desk too.

I had the best experience with East Village Dental, I could not find anyone who would extract my tooth at last minute. I was in so much pain, I called the office @ 11:42 am they asked if I could make it in by 12 noon with a wait. When I arrived @ 12:05 pm. I only waited about 5 minutes; from the time I was completing my documents on cell phone they were calling me to the back. I took my x-rays with a wait time to see the doctor. I met Dr. Patel which was very nice and very knowledgeable about a procedure that I needed going forward. I’m going to update my dentist insurance during next enrollment I HIGHLY!!! Recommend this Dentist office great service, professional and clean. Overall GREAT SERVICE!!!!!

THIS IS YOUR PLACE IF IN PAIN AND NEED IMMEDIATE TOOTH PAIN RELIEF IN THE CHICAGO AREA.Didnt sleep for a few nights cause of a broken wisdom tooth, came across East Village Dental while searching for options. Called them when they opened for the day to ask for help, a couple hours later I was walking out with the tooth removed. I had a few other teeth that needed removal that I put off, so they addressed those teeth also and removed them. 5 total molars came out pain free in no time at all, 3 of those being wisdom teeth. So happy I found them and got my mouth pain resolved. I was greeted by name for my emergency appointment when I walked in even though was my 1st time their. Was state of the art and much smoother getting images then I have ever experienced. They make sure you are comfortable and have a pain free experience. All the staff was so friendly and professional, and it reflected on the faces of all the patients that they knew they where in good hands. The hygienist looked me over and told me her recommendations, then the doctor looked me over and agreed with the hygienist of her recommendations. Goes to show they dont just do unnecessary work based of one persons opinion. Its been 7.5 hrs since the 5 teeth came out, and I feel PRETTY DAMN GOOD. 5☆

Excellent Service!Called and set emergency appointment at 9:45am for 10:30. Got there at 10:15. Was back in my car with 1 painful wisdom tooth successfully removed before Noon. Great staff. Expensive if paying out of pocket, but what medical costs aren’t. Literally didn’t feel any pain or discomfort during the removal process, which took less than 60 seconds. Filling out medical info via phone was way quicker than writing, and there were no other patients waiting when I arrived, everyone was being tended to. Coming back with insurance!

My visit was very pleasant. The whole staff is nice. I got a same day appointment and took care of my problem the next day. The dentists were informative and caring. Joel the X-ray tech was very comforting and he made it very easy for me to relax. I would definitely recommend this dental office.

I broke a veneer and didn’t have a dentist here in Chicago. I saw the East Village Dental Centre sign and called to make an appointment. They were able to get me in the following day and replace my tooth within 3 hours because they make crowns in the office. Everyone who works there is friendly and they have excellent dentists.

Nobody likes going to the dentist but if you have to you couldnt pick a better place. I had a tooth pulled and felt very nervous about it. Dr Nisha has the magic touch. They played music for me to relax and encouraged me through the entire procedure, we even did a little singing! Surprisingly having someone rip a tooth out of my mouth was one of the more enjoyable experiences I had that day. Also shout out to Dr Nishas dental assistant whose name I didnt get but she was awesome as well.

If you need a wisdom tooth extraction at the last minute , THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. i made an appointment around 9:05am & was able to get an appointment for 11am THE SAME DAY. My procedure was done my Dr. Treinkman and it only took him approximately 5 minutes to remove my wisdom tooth which was deeply impacted. i will definitely return again to remove my other 3 wisdom teeth .

Dr. Treinkman and his staff are awesome! They are very patient-focused and use the latest technology to provide great dental care. I had a complex root canal with no pain or discomfort, and the crown was made on-site during my appointment so I walked out of the office with no need for a follow-up appointment. Yay!

I can’t stop smiling! This was the best dental experience of my life. I came to East Village Dental because I was having Invisalign/dental care issues at Ora Dental Wicker Park. Dr. Matt McShane (a graduate from Harvard dental school) was able to schedule me right away (I had a trip coming up), and was extremely attentive. He sat and talked with me for a long time discussing my treatment plan, how to remedy the mistakes made at the other place - all while keeping the integrity and health of my teeth at the forefront of the conversation. He was honest and thorough with me about my options and made me feel like a true partner in the decision making. He used multiple tools to make my teeth look and feel PERFECT. He did not rush and it 100% shows. Yasmine (sp?) was the woman who did my Zoom whitening. She was so thorough with the treatment, how I may feel sensitivity and offered me all the time I needed to ask questions before we started and after we finished. Yasmine and Dr. Matt both checked in on me all throughout the 1hr whitening treatment. It was so nice to feel so well taken care of. I can’t stop smiling because I am so happy with my treatment at East Village Dental and because my teeth look so gorgeous. Couldn’t not be happier.

I made an appointment with East Village Dental late on a Friday night when I was experiencing intense pain in my back molar. They were able to get me in on Saturday morning!Joel was the first person to see me and gently took my X-rays and listened to me describe my symptoms. He did a wonderful job making me feel hopeful my pain would be addressed.Next, Dr. McShane told me I needed a root canal. Numbing the area hurt a bit, but during the root canal procedure I didnt feel any pain at all. Dr. McShane did a wonderful job telling me what he was doing during the procedure so I knew what sensations to expect (vibrations, pressure, etc. but not pain).Would definitely recommend East Village for compassionate dental treatment!

This is by far the best dentist office in Illinois. They do great work and have been the only dentistry that has successfully numbed my mouth completely for any procedure they’ve had to do on me. Don’t test your luck anywhere else these guys are amazing.

I have visited a few dentist offices, but East Village Dental Centre is by far one of the best in all aspects. The admin staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The dental staff are also great and personable. I have had my 2 kids (under the age of 6) and I here for cleaning and treatments and super impressed of the service. You get real time and visual progress of every stage of treatment. They are great with kids and know how to make them comfortable, removing all anxiety.

I brought my 5 year old daughter in to see Dr Michael Kowalczyk. He told us she had 2 cavities and she was a little nervous for the shot and drill. Dr Kowalczyk was so kind and so gentle that she didn’t even make a sound while he gave the shot and she even fell asleep during the procedure. Talk about making your patients comfortable! We drove 50mins from Matteson, IL to the office and would totally do it again. Such a great first visit to the dentist! Thank you East Village Dental Centre!

I went in for a tooth extraction and saw Dr. Nisha Patel. Dr. Patel is phenomenal and I do not use that word lightly! She is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, nice, and caring. She answered ALL of my questions to my satisfaction, (there were a lot of questions) as I was nervous about the entire procedure. I appreciated her patience for addressing every single thing without me feeling rushed, and then providing her own personal opinion. I wanted to use nitrous oxide for my tooth extraction to calm my nerves and reduce my anxiety, and she wanted to make sure I had something to eat as an empty stomach + laughing gas can cause nausea, extreme lightheadedness and an overall unpleasant time. I didnt have anything to eat, so she (and Andrea) suggested some areas around the office to go eat and assured me that I could be seen later in the day once I filled my belly a bit. Absolutely fantastic!All of the receptionists were welcoming and accommodating as well, for example Adrianna and I couldnt catch the other receptionists name. Andrea on the checkout side was also very knowledgeable and nice. She explained my dental insurance coverage thoroughly and also answered any questions I had.I write this section in length because I want you reading this to believe the close to 5 star reviews this place has! I was skeptical before going. The staff is truly lovely and I would recommend this place to anyone! The office is also very updated, clean, and appealing. Spacious parking. Walgreens to pick up your prescription is very close by and even walkable. Other than the one situation which probably wont happen to most people, I would give the dental office 5 stars! ****My reason for the 3 star rating is for one situation in particular. Working with Dr. Patel was Joe the dental assistant, and he broke the only cardinal rule I have when it comes to dentistry: ALWAYS verify what area of the mouth youre working in before you start work in that area. This doesnt have to be vocally said to me, but he shouldve verified the area with himself before working on me.I needed work on the top left far back tooth, and when he came in, he got the numbing cream to start the procedure and applied it to the top right far back tooth. I asked him, why are you applying numbing cream to my right side? where he replies oh right and simply moved the swab from the right side of my mouth to the left side of my mouth.This wouldve probably been forgivable, of course people make mistakes sure it happens, if he hadnt simply switched the swabs to the correct side. The numbing cream was already on my right side. I asked him to get a completely fresh swab of numbing cream (which I shouldnt have to do, seriously?) which he then got, and put it to the correct left side. I asked him to verify if were working on the left side where he then said of course we are as if he didnt just make this mistake.I dont appreciate this at all, moreso because there wasnt even an apology in the slightest. Perhaps Im more upset because I was incredibly anxious already and he truly made my anxiety worse. The nitrous oxide I was given for the procedure had 0 effect on me, and I started to think if Joe mixed up that part of the process, as well. I respect that this is highly unlikely, but this is what happens when you lose that trust. Nonetheless, the $95 for the laughing gas was a complete waste of money which Im not happy about at all, but at least Dr. Patels work was relatively painless. Im three days post op now and still feel great. Besides that one situation with Joe, this truly is the one dental office you should consider!

I had the best dental experience of my life at East Village Dental. Every staff member was polite, accommodating, knowledgeable, and comforting. The facility is clean, professional, bright, and inviting. I was so scared at first because I hadn’t been to a dentist in four years. I have sensitive teeth, and a simple cleaning is usually very painful and uncomfortable. Pragna and Emanuel were so understanding and incredibly gentle when cleaning my teeth. They did such a good job, and it was painless for the first time in my life! Dr. Treinkman was fantastic and explained a lot of things that I didn’t know about dental health. Awesome experience. I had been suffering in extreme pain and desperately needed emergency dental care. I found East Village Dental Centre while googling for help. I submitted a request for an appointment late Thursday and I received a call early Friday asking if I was okay and when I could come in. They even helped arrange getting my insurance information ahead of time so I wouldn’t have to worry about out of pocket costs. All the “new patient” intake forms were easily done online on their secure website. I was able to be seen immediately upon arriving and everyone was exceptionally nice and welcoming. I have a lot of problems and after getting examined and having images taken, my treatment options were thoroughly explained as well as cost of care with & without insurance. I had teeth extracted doing this visit and I didn’t feel a thing. I’ve honestly never felt this comfortable at the dentist ever in my life. I’m very thankful I came here and looking forward to the continued care of my troubled teeth.

I was referred to East Village Dental by a friend. I wasn’t unhappy with my current dentist - but they they had a lot of turnover - each time I went I met a new hygienist and dentist. Then to top that off they had a Covid outbreak around the time of my 6 month appointment. Today’s visit to EVD was fantastic. They were welcoming, knowledgeable and very nice. The technology they use - like manufacturing crowns in house and 3D scans of your teeth and skull is quiet eye opening. I was a new patient but didn’t feel like I was new. My cleaning went great and the doctor listened to my concerns and we created a treatment plan that I really wanted. A +!!

The entire staff here from the front office on back has been nothing but amazing for me. I have major dentist office anxiety and hadnt been to the dentist in a decade. Sadly, this means I need a lot of work. I had a few anxiety and crying attacks the first few visits and everyone, I mean everyone, was so nice, patient, and accommodating. They gave me the space I needed to calm down without rushing me to get over it because they had other patients. No one made me feel bad for not having been in to see a dentist sooner. I never once felt judged or shamed. I highly recommend this place and regret not coming here sooner. I also bring my children here and they are so wonderful and patient with them as well (they talk A LOT). Please dont go anywhere else. You will have an amazing experience and everyone you talk to will be kind, compassionate, and helpful.

I had a morning appointment Saturday with East Village Dental, but ran a few minutes late. When I arrived, they were very welcoming and helpful. They gently hurried me along the check-in processes and didn’t mention a word about my tardiness. The front staff, technician, hygienist & dentist were all very friendly, informative & attentive. The office is very bright, clean, & well organized. Everyone was using current technology from the point of check-in to the ex ray to the checkout. I had a very nice experience. My visit was extremely pleasant. They were able to see me quickly when I was in a great deal of pain. The reception staff were very nice and also patient in helping me navigate payment options. The assistant, Joel, who performed my first x-rays was kind and efficient and Dr. Treinkman and his assistant were a pleasure and made me feel comfortable during the entirety of my time there. Completed a series of x-rays and root canal in one appointment that had been booked the same day. I was very happy with my experience, from top to bottom, and would recommend others who are looking for similar care.

I came to East Village Dental for an emergency wisdom teeth extraction and was impressed by their ability to quickly accommodate me and still clearly explain the procedures they would be executing and what the experience would be like for me after.The dental hygienists were kind and on top of it (S/O to Joel and Nikki). Dr. Ben McWilliams was super kind and patient. Felt like home the moment I walked in.They made sure to schedule a follow up for me about 2 weeks after the extraction, and that was quick and easy! Before the follow up I had some concerns about some pain and they quickly responded to my email even over the holiday season!Highly recommend this practice!

I went to east village dental for a tooth pain that turned out to be something much more extensive. I have major dental anxiety and had put off going to the dentist for a long time. The staff at east village is INCREDIBLE! They started with x-rays and broke down everything that was going on with my teeth in terms that I could easily follow. They then walked me through a treatment plan and gave me a few different options that would work best with my situation. When I expressed my concerns and anxiety they offered me various level of sedation that I could choose from if desired. We made a plan and they promptly made me an appointment for the next day. The day of I was a nervous wreck but the staff was absolutely amazing at keeping me calm. DR. Treinkman did my procedure and he was so kinda and comforting while I was prepping. The procedure went smooth and although I still have major dental anxiety I am confident that East village dental will be great for my follow up appointment and all other future appointments.

Dr. Treinkman took care of my filling immediately on the 4th of July weekend. Very thorough, great work!

I started going here after my veneer fell out and I needed an urgent appointment. They were able to get me in that same day! The front desk staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. The dental hygienists who performed my cleaning were also very nice. Dr. Treinkman is great and super nice. Dr. McShane is also excellent, and very personable, even to kids! He is a perfectionist and took his time to make sure my crown fit perfectly and my bite was properly aligned. Their equipment are state of the art and they show you pics of your X-rays, teeth, gums and the inside of your mouth on a big screen so you can really see any inflammation or issues that need work. I’ve needed a lot of dental work throughout my life and have gone to dentists in three different cities, this is definitely the best place I’ve gone to.The only person who made me feel awkward was one of the dental hygienists who came in to discuss my bill…i’ve interacted with her twice. The first time she said my veneers were not very good (they were done out of the country), and when she left the room the other assistant told me that my veneers were just fine. And then the second time she injected the numbing agent and then asked for me to pay for the crown that they were fitting that day. This took me by surprise because I just paid my bill when I checked in. I asked if I can pay it later because I wanted to use my FSA card and I could not check my account on my phone. I told her the front desk has told me before that I can pay online with my card later. And she says they don’t/are not supposed to do it that way. And then she asks if I want to cancel my upcoming appt until I figure things out. It felt very weird like I was trying to scam them and that I was not welcome to come back until I’m sure I had money… I’d be fine if I never have to interact with her again.

Patient care was outstanding. On Sunday night, a crown came off. Since I had a routine appointment scheduled for early next week, I left a message to ask if I should schedule a new appointment or wait until my scheduled appointment. I did not expect to hear from the office until Monday, but to my surprise, I got a call from the office within an hour. I was seen by Dr. Treinkman at 8:30, Monday morning. One hour later, I left the office with the crown in place, the routine exam and cleaning completed, and my next routine check-up scheduled in six months. Great service and great care!

I have been going to EVD for over 10 years now and am always extremely happy with my experience. Dr. T was always outstanding and a few years ago I switched to Dr. McShane and he is top notch. Smooth and easy whether it’s a filling or same day crown. Love this practice!

The ambience is nice and comfortable. I can’t think of the dentist name who worked on me but he was tall with Grey hair... He was sooo Friendly and made it me feel extremely comfortable with him doing work in mouth. However; make sure you pay attention to your bill the girls who works on your payment doesn’t have a clear understanding on the prices because one lady gave me one bill and and another lady gave me a completely different bill with the same work. What I suggest is that you ask questions before coming in about different prices on what you want done so that you’ll already know how much to come out pocket.

I have been an infrequent client for 20yrs. I trust their recommendations as in the past I’ve had very positive and pleasant experiences with nice results for my children and myself. I received braces for the first time. While Dr. Wardell was very kind he was knowledgeable as witnessed by the thorough explanation of type and procedure for braces given to other patient. I was informed by other provider of process prior. My comment is...when there will be someone other than Dr. applying braces or initiating the process this should be explained to patient prior. I understand consults were piled up with unexpected readiness for application on patient’s behalf. Courtesy is to inform the patient that “my assistant, or whomever the discipline, will be doing the majority of work” while this was my first time I don’t know if the process was proper, revision of rating to be updated. I guess I will soon see. Again, staff were cordial but talked excessively to each other. Not sure if this group is comprised of novice providers. My credit card was charged prior to the application which has never happened at this office. I did not here them collect payment from other male patient prior to service as we started at same time. Again not sure. I feel that I am bound due to braces already applied. I would have opted out if I knew it would be rushed and not completely performed by Dr. himself.

Comprehensive facility that provides for convenient grouping of interventions. I loved their technology, too (e.g., videos explaining procedures, 360 degree x-rays, and projection of results on screens). Finally, I really appreciated their immediate calculation of covered versus out-of-pocket costs based on my insurance so I understood the financial impact of my decisions. Im returning next week to get a root canal, fillings and whitening followed by orthodontic work before I get a cap next year. 👍👍

The staff at east village is INCREDIBLE! They started with x-rays and broke down everything that was going on with my teeth in terms that I could easily follow. The front staff, technician, hygienist & dentist were all very friendly, informative & attentive.

From the moment I walked into this dental office,I Comfortable the office smelled and looked freshly cleaned. Front desk asked about 10 questions related to covid screening, took my temperature, no wait time in waiting area. As soon as i walked in, I was taken to the back, Joel requested nicely to wash my hands and rinse mouth with 1% Peroxide. I Fractured the facial part of my tooth (popcorn kernel) and walked out with same day crown. Some dental offices sometimes make u wait two weeks for ur crown to be made by an out sourced lab. They have it all here! Over all the best experienced dentist, hygienist, and dental staff. Come look at the wall of before and afters pictures of transformed smiles, u might even recognize a few people. Check them out, I’m sure u will have nice things to say after ur visit.

Need on extraction or extractions done with no pain, this is the right place.Best dentist ever definitely will recommend, try them you will not regret it

This place is so detailed im their work and awesome! I called and for a tooth ache and they seen me and treated me that day! It was fast and efficient! This is the place to come for all your dental needs.

Ive been to many dentists over the years because of weak enamel. East Village Dental Centre is by far the best! If you want a modern, technologically driven approach to your dental work, this is the place to go!

Cannot recommend this office enough. As far as root canals go, East Village Dental exceeded my expectations. Not only did they keep it significantly less painful then I imagined, but the staff was super kind and considerate. Arianna, Joel, Lauren, and Dr. Benjamin McWilliams were a phenomenal team. Lauren was kind enough to bring me a pear to snack on when I became light headed from an empty stomach. They also have monitors that display real time progress. These kept me informed and provided a level of comfort I wasn’t expecting, in addition to making me want to take more ownership of my dental hygiene. Thank you thank you to Dr. Ben and the whole team!

East Village Dental Center is great. Pragna and Dr. Mc Williams are both very caring and honest about your mouth health. They do a wonderful job cleaning and explaining any issues. They do not suggest unnecessary procedures and understand that your time and budget are limited.

Office staff up front is organized and very informal on the complexities of insurance coverage, out of pocket expenses and reimbursement.An excellent Choice!!!

East Village Dental is just the best. I live in Rockford and gladly drive the 80 minutes to see Dr. Treinkman. The staff is ALWAYS winning and Dr. Treinkman is full of great conversation. When I first started going in 2016 I had some pretty heavy anxiety and panic at my appointments. The entire staff helped me through each step of said appointment and now they have a lifelong patient. East village dental is amazing! My girlfriend got her wisdom teeth pulled and then two weeks later mine started hurting really bad and I called. They took me same day and were able to pull them the same day. Their front desk staff is also very friendly and answers all your questions. They worked with me on the pricing and were able to bring it to an affordable pricing despite my insurance not covering everything. Dr.Matthew is also great and makes you feel comfortable. He was even willing to stay late to make sure my teeth got pulled and I wasn’t in pain anymore. If my insurance works with me, this will be my new primary dentist office!

Super kind people. Quick and efficient service. They care about your comfort. Great knowledgeable and communicative. Very clean. Never a long wait to get in. My dentist even remembered the event I was leaving to go to (6 months ago) and thought to ask! Ive never liked the dentist, and this place is pretty nice!

This office is always professional and helpful. This was my first visit post-Covid and I was impressed with their cleanliness and handling of a challenging situation. I was there for a regular bi-annual cleaning and exam, but after the hygienist finished I waited nearly 30 minutes for the dentist and finally had to leave without my exam. A few hours later, I got a call from the doctor apologizing for the wait and explaining that an emergency case had been in the office at the same time I was there which is why no one could see me. I very much appreciated the personal touch and acknowledgment of the inconvenience I experienced. The extra touch goes a long way to reinforce the great care this office provides. I won’t let my wait prevent me from going back again!

The hygienist, I believe her name is Pradna, is so kind and gentle. She is so thorough. Dr. McWilliams always answers all of my questions and never makes me feel like there is some big crisis. I’m very thankful for everyone’s kindness and gentleness!

East Village Dental are great. I called them on a Saturday and had an appointment by Monday (during pandemic). They were professional and accommodating. I had a cracked filling redone, price was fair and filling was done pretty quick. I would definitely recommend anyone to go here. Thanks again!
