From check in to check out, nurse Sue, Sean, Karen in radiology and Dr. Patel were wonderful. Very clean facility and excellent service! Highly recommended.

Dr. Bisse was great and Shae, RN and another female RN (forgot her name) to the Radiology techs were wonderful! I was called back in minutes and had things done in a timely manner. Great bedside manners from everyone. I would recommend anyone to come here!

The staff, nurses, and Dr. Olyai were amazing!! They got me in and out. Helped me get in the right direction towards figuring out my decline in health. There’s no other emergency room in Charlotte I’ll go to.

If possible I will never refer nor receive self treatment here ever! I came n with my daughter her breathing was messing up u could see the pull n her chest told them plz help she as been hospitalized for this!! Needless to say..we never made it to the back after 30 40 min wait her chest was hurting to bad to had to go elsewhere I want you guys to know I personally hate u guys

The facility was clean and getting checked in and back into a room was quick. Nurse Ali greeted us and was very welcoming and sweet. She was very nice and offered as much assistance that she could give me and my son. Nurse Mikayla was very sweet as well. I dont know how we would have made it through that visit without them because no one else there seemed welcoming. Dr. Busbee was very straight to the point. He was very quick and informative.

Terrible I got treated for my breathing in the ambulance. 4 hours later Im still waiting for a treatment n a simple prescription. Go to bigger hospital customer service is a disaster!

I was there today. The experience was different than a time I was there pre-COVID, but I got the attention I needed and was feeling better when I left. I need to shout out to Robin! I told her I am a baby and terrified of needles. She is the only one ever that inserted my IV and I did not feel a thing. She was patient with me even though I am not the best patient. I am so glad our paths crossed today, and I am feeling so much better. Thank you. Robin!

I want to give credit where its due, front desk receptionist was excellent. Medical staff probably needs to be supported better by the hospital administration by compensation to help relieve/reduce stress like access to massages and/or mental health care to cope with the demands of the job. With the exception of one individual, the rest seemed to care less about their patients, didnt read notes to avoid giving medications double, and werent effectively communicative about after care nor desired to respond to concerns. Asking questions seemed to annoy them. While the pandemic has everyone stressed and on edge, youre compensated by your patients, you arent doing them a favor. It seems to be a haven for people who chose the wrong profession. I wouldnt return or recommend this place.

I took my aunt, Ruth Russell, for care today. She has a complicated lung history but was ill over the weekend with other problems. It was my 1st visit, & I was so very impressed with the care she received. We were taken back quickly. The nurses- Stephanie, Jodi were compassionate, professional, & knowledgeable. Even the physician & CT tech were caring & communicated the expectations well. My aunt was transferred to the hospital, & I just cannot give enough accolades for the process & for the care she received. Thank you!

Waiting for nurse and/or doctor. Im in excruciating pain. Been in the room for 45 minutes, no call button, no help and 5 nurses listed on the whiteboard. I yelled out for help and the nurse that answered still didnt give me a call button and literally rolled his eyes at me. I thought healthcare providers were supposed to be heros!? Its dead quiet here. Not recommending this location. Youll die before youre seen for sure

I had to go in on Sunday. I am here out of town for work. I got extremely sick and went in to the ER. The doctor I had as well as the nurse and the nurse that worked in radiology was awesome. I wish it was that good of treatment where I live. I was highly, highly impressed. I would thank the staff there for everything they did.

I had a visit and a nurse name Ms.shae , was very nasty from tha start badd attitude, I been coming there for years and never treated like that before .. Ms. Shae .. needs to represent atrium health care better than that ..

I had to visit the Atrium Health ER ( Fairview Road)on 1/3/21. I have to thank Dr. A. Olyai and nurse Jodi from the bottom of my heart. These 2 dedicated medical professionals and their support staff were outstanding. They took excellent care of me and did so in a timely and compassionate manner!! If you have to go to any ER facility in the Charlotte area I highly recommend this facility. Thanks so much for your dedication and commitment to quality patient care. Clean ! The nurses there are so sweet haven’t had a bad encounter yet . Quick and courteous. The providers are great as well , I have sickle cell anemia so I’m there every so often I have my favorite providers but honestly they are all amazing and welcoming . I don’t think there is another ER like this one in Charlotte ! I highly recommend this one haven’t been to any other since .

As all ERs they do have a bit of a wait bit are very tentative with their patients, when I need urgent care this is where I prefer. Great staff amazing doctors.

Currently at the ER and there’s more than 15 patients waiting to be seen, I’ve been here for 1 hour with severe pain and neither the doctor or nurse will help me

Horrible staff (nurses and doctors). Condescending and a holier than thou attitude that unfortunately leads to misdiagnoses and incorrect medicine dispensation. I don’t trust them.

Unless you have no choice and it is life or death (as an unpleasant representative from Atrium told me today) do not attempt to get any help from this emergency department. They take no responsibility for their costly but insufficient care. Again unless you are almost dead and have no other choice don’t go there looking for medical help. Not to mention waiting four hours (emergency department was empty) to be seen for 5 minutes by a doctor and charged over $5,000 for a negligently missed diagnosis.

This past Monday, I took myself here to keep myself safe from self harm. The first tech, Destiny, kept walking away, leaving me alone to self injur, texting her husband and doing a word find, leaving the opportunity to self injur again. The night tech was great. The next morning tech, Penny, slept while I self injured and watched a Korean video when I self injured again.The nurses and doctors were great and professional and provided excellent care.Please contact me at [email protected]. Please be careful going to any hospital at this time. Doctors and hospitals have a very strong immunity during this time of COVID-19 (look it up). NC along with other states have put a blanket law to cover Doctors and hospitals against lawsuits. While the intent is good, the outcome hurts patients. Even when your case has nothing to do with covid it does not matter. I went to this hospital for a deep knife cut. I was told that they would clean it out (irrigate it) before it was closed up. The doctor nor nurse cleaned it out, the doctor asked if I bleed out alot of course the answer is yes. She said that we dont need to clean in the blood was the natural cleaning. I was given no anti-biotics, my foot was never cleaned, was numbed and closed up, got an infection. Had to go to novant and was in the hospital for 4 days. Come to find out they put in my records that it was cleaned, not only did they not do what they said, they lied in my records. I have never written a complaint in my life but this is sad and sick, and they charged me $2300 ($1950 + $280 after insurance. I wish I could add pictures to prove they did not clean a thing. I love and I am thankful for our Healthcare providers, its hard both my parents are in this field.

Dr. Caleb Gerhart, Nurse Allison, Nurse Karen, and Nurse Suzanne were absolutely wonderful!!! I’ve never in my life felt so welcomed and calmed at such a stressful time. I came in with heavy bleeding during pregnancy and trying not to think the worst. They all were completely supportive and reassured me that it was not my fault and they’d run all necessary test to confirm whether or not I was having a miscarriage. The level of compassion and empathy I felt was overwhelming and extremely helpful during the stressful time. The Ultrasound Tech Mikki (possibly Nikki it was extremely dark and by this point I was overwhelmed) was both gentle and very respectful. I appreciated her compassion and making me and my husband laugh. Overall my experience was A+. I’m so grateful to have encountered the Doctor and Nurses that helped me last night. Thank you all so much!!! They were all excited to come back and tell me and my husband that our bundle of joy was doing just fine and heartbeat was strong! Their excitement made me even more excited. I really appreciated the staff last night for their compassion, service, and great positive attitudes especially during the pandemic. Avoid this facility at all costs. We specifically asked if they could provide all services a normal ER could given our specific situation and they assured us they could. Once they ran all the tests they recommended a transfer to the main ER due to the fact that their equipment was not as specialized and they did not have someone on staff that specialized in reading pediatric ultrasounds. The doctor even had the nerve to say I would never bring my child to this ER location for the medical issue you were concerned about but specifically stated we were no better off going to the main ER when we walked in the door and asked. Unethical as they come and if there ever was an example of medical greed it is the management running this facility.

I would sooner lay down and die than seek treatment here again. A bag of IV fluids and 2 potassium pills later, and I left with a $2,500 bill AFTER insurance. Just finished paying it off.

Avoid this place for any true emergency. This place is not equipped to help and the staff is rude and lacks empathy. Dr. Patel lacked knowledge and communication skills. I am not sure why this place exists?? If you have child with an emergency please go to one of the children hospitals.

Bad bronchitis and my asthma was not controlled. These folks were first class in skills, knowledge, and kindness! I am very grateful to their whole team.

What an amazing place and amazing experience. As soon as I got there they took me in right away. Before the nurse could even finish her questions Dr. Olyai was already in the room. Everything happened so fast, the whole staff was so lovely and I am so glad I chose this ER to go to. I just moved to NC and already having health issues was looking for a place to go to, and reading the reviews about this place led me to go there and it didn’t disappoint. Deff will be going back there to any other upcoming issues my family and I might have. Thank you so much for all you guys did!

All I know raises for everyone on staff.Along with dealing with a previous issue came in and was in a emergent situation.This crew down to the radiologist..Excellent plus give them all at least a $2.00 raise why ..Patient.they listened...Informed me of my healthcare concern.Get this even they remade my bed...No it wasnt your regular hospital...Of course every shift has challenges.Honey, they went beyond Florence Nightingale gale treatment...And excellent contrast solution .Appearance mommy dearest super clean.mannerism excellent......Love it .They should be a higher rating...Resting... Excellent Treatment.Excellent Hospital

My son was here earlier today with something in his eye, they numb it, flushed his eye and put antibiotics in his eye. A few hours later we are back been for approximately 3 hours. Seen I think 2 doctors and they were going to flush his eye, well they numb it but still waiting to be flushed over hour ago. This ER has not been busy since we got here this evening. If something happens and they do get busy we probably want go home till tomorrow night. Very disappointed. Will not use this ER again or recommend.

Such an amazing experience at this facility. The staff were so kind and knowledgable and all of them genuinely cared about how I was feeling and attempted to make me feel at home. The facility is also beautiful and I didnt feel like I was in an emergency room. I highly recommend this ER!

Just went there because of my bronchitis flared up.... I’m telling the nurse that they normally use an ultrasound machine to give me an IV because my veins are hard to find but they treat me like I’m lying so they poked and prodded on me 3 times and still no IV was placed in. They need to learn how to listen to the patient.

Just wondered if now would be the appropriate time to let “Dr Arthur” apologize for his snide remark that I might want to “reconsider ER hopping for pain meds” since right after he got my test results I was taken to Mercy and during emergency surgery they found a golf ball sized tumor.Empathy is a thing doc.

Erica was really friendly and helpful. She was polite and kind. The wait wasnt long and the staff were amazing. But they never gave me a doctors note and phone got disconnected when I was transferred

Had a primary care physician here for a while. Great doctor, nice location, very clean and airy inside. Polite staff, and easy parking.

I came in after my very long trip to the area from up north. The trip had exacerbated my sciatica and I needed a steroid shot at the least. I left there for prescriptions for pain meds and steroids and also for nausea meds. It was less than 10 minutes before I got a room, then about another 30 minutes before the Dr. Came in and actually spent time to hear what my thoughts and complaints were and also to check me out. He left, and a nurse came back in within 10 minutes and gave me the prescriptions as well as my information about my condition. Altogether it was about an hour before I got fully in and out of there. Im completely satisfied and confident that Ill be well within a couple days. I would recommend this emergency room to anybody (with insurance).

This is the best ER I hv ever been to. The staff was very courteous, fast and efficient. What they considered to be a busy night on the night of my visit was a very pleasant night to me. Thank you all for your hard work.

The doctor did not do a test to confirm what she diagnosed me with. I ended up going to my regular doctor to find out that I didn’t have the virus’s she told me I had and waited 7 hours for a test that wasn’t even ran! Now I have an emergency room hospital bill for getting treatment for the wrong thing.

Best ER experience ever. ALL staff were kind, polite and gentle with my elderly father.

There is never a complications, sign in and someone is out to get you before you can even think about it. The doctor xomes in with the triage nurses.They are never busy or over flowing with people. This is where I want my emergency and routine medical care. The lobby and the emergency department is state of the art.

This is the best er i been to. Not a long wait time staff is friendly and had me patched up real fast. I recommend this place to anyone

Normally this place is great but last night they blew it. I was sent there from urgent care with a verified case of pneumonia. It was almost 2 hours before I saw anyone. I was completely ignored. Someone took me for an X-ray, an hpur later Im basically told that my xray is clear, from then on, despite my fever and painful cough I was treated like I was faking or drug seeking because I asked for cough medicine so I could finally sleep for more than 5 minutes at a time.The doc tried to give me medication that I told her my pcp was trying to avoid because it was causing some serious side effects.I was released with instructions to drink hot tea.. Thats not medicine.Havent slept in more than 2 days, dont have the strength to stand in the shower. Im sure hot tea will fix it right up.

THE WORST ER I HAVE BEEN TO IN MY LIFE ! MICHEAL WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND IMPATIENT WITH ME AND DR. Gini Vonci DIDNT ANSWER ANY OF MY QUESTIONS ! Just cut an incision in me and sent a nurse to release me without making sure I understand what was going on !!! When I begged to speak with her because of my confusion and concern she told me I would have to wait an hour! I asked Micheal for his first and last name he got an attitude with me and rudely ignored me refused to give me his name and walked off talking to other nurses !! He should definitely be reviewed ! He was working October 28th at 9:00pm . VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Absolutely amazing. Came here after receiving horrible service at novant in matthews. I was in a room within 5 mins thanks to southparks urgency. I was in horrible pain and was having an allergic reaction to aome medication. They took all steps necessary and even watched me to make sure i was okay. I will only return back here for my medical emergencies. Thank you so much to the nurse and doctors that actually took me seriously

Good care but SUPER expensive!! Filed a dispute but they justified the sky high cost because the visit required an ultrasound. My son was treated with an ibuprofen but charged $1800!!!!!!

I do not recommend this ER. Although our lobby wait time was shorter than typical, we received very poor patient care from an arrogant physician. They treated my daughter after an ice skating fall, and while the x-ray showed no evidence of a fracture, they insisted on casting her, despite the fact I told them I had an OrthoCarolina appointment scheduled a few hours later and would wait for their opinion. The doctor wouldnt let me leave and insisted on splinting her. The nurses made two attempts to put a full arm cast on her, but seemed to have no idea what they were doing. After questioning all of this and feeling uneasy about the treatment we received, I took her to Ortho only to have them throw the cast in the trash and find out we received incorrect treatment based on them looking at the exact same x-ray. I received a $1,500 bill from South Park ER, while the Ortho visit was only $150. Save yourself some money and take your child somewhere else. After filing a complaint, Carolinas HealthCare did nothing but make excuses for the way this doctor treated us.

My fiancé was in a car accident and we went 30 mins later to the hospital. Weve waited 2 hours and decided to leave because we never seen a doctor, and she wasnt looked at after explaining she had chronic neck pain. Not with the wait if youre in an emergency.

Havent been in a emergency room in 6years..lets just say this one is the best ever.no long waiting and the staff was amazingly sweet&caring!

Very bad experience I was there form 6:00pm until 8:00pm and I was NOT seen by a doctor , the doctor on the staff was backed up . Do not go there if you need immediate attention choose another E/R.
