Aspen Dental has been amazing through my husband and Is dental process. They have a different process than I have seen before in a dental office, but after going through it, it definitely works because of Jaclyn and Dr. Cole. Jaclyn in the office was so helpful every part of the way to make sure that we had a positive experience and worked with our schedule in every way to make sure that we knew exactly what needed to get done and how to get everything done in a timely manner. Dr. Cole was so kind and patient to my husband, even though he has motor and verbal tourettes. He was able to start and stop procedures and check in on my husband as he had burst of movements. Jaclyn and Dr. Cole has made our dental experiences such a positive experience and we are so excited to see them again in 6 months.

Chris is amazing! He was able to explain everything to me procedure wise and cost wise helping me find the best option for my needs ! The dental assistant and hygienist were also great however I can’t say the same about the receptionist Lexi?Whatever her name is she’s not good at her job at all. After the procedure I was in a lot of pain once I left the office. I had called multiple times and got no call back finally I got ahold of the office 3 hours later & the receptionist got an attitude with me;telling me that they told I’d be in pain before the procedure ; which isn’t true, I wouldn’t have had the procedure had I known it was gonna result in more pain I would have waited and got it fixed in one day to avoid any further pain.she was rude, argumentative and not understanding to my pain in anyway. That’s not the kinda treatment patients should be given. No one wants to hear “it’s your fault, as I said before, the doctors warned you.” Especially When they are in pain. Just fix the problem right? Apparently not though. This behavior is unacceptable and has me questioning getting any further work done here.

Aspen dental is seriously the best dentist office I have ever been to. They were the first ones to get me an appointment scheduled after the Labor Day holiday when I had chipped my tooth and I thought I was going to be ugly and deformed forever. The entire staff from the front desk lady, to the dental hygienists, to the guy who helped me figure out my financials and the doctor of course, they all felt like my family even though I just met them and they comforted me and even got me an appointment to fix my broken tooth the same day as my initial consultation!! They even helped me figure out specifically how much I was going to pay in payments each month because I have no insurance, yet they were still so welcoming. Never before have I ever felt so prioritized in a medical office, these employees deserve gold stars and raises! Thank you!!

Keep looking.Aspen Dental/Cedar Park.Only good thing about this location is the Hygienist, she is very thorough. But other than that they nickel and time you and rates are very high. What really frustrated me! They recommended a high fluoride toothpaste, the Manager I met with sold it to me for $27. On my second visit at 6 months later they said I had a $7 balance, they had to research why while having my teeth cleaned. Asked Hygienist for another fluoride toothpaste only to find out at my check out that the toothpaste was actually $34 and the $7 balance was for the prior tube. They knew I was annoyed with their mistake. And offered NO solution, in fact the attitude was, Oh well. What would have been acceptable was to wave the $7 and simply say sorry our mistake on the first tube. It is $34 going forward. INSTEAD here you go Aspen Dental, One star review because thats what you deserve. You should know your own pricing and NOT treat your patients like their experience in your office and pocket books DONT matter. Another patient lost 😔

Consider other options. This team is grossly understaffed, distracted and rushed. Be prepared for extensive wait times and disappointing results. It took over 3 hours to cement a preexisting crown (30 mins would be a life time under normal circumstances). This abnormal experience appeared to be routine for this team. The final results were surprisingly underwhelming. I have scheduled an appointment with a out-of-state dentist to fix my crown. Use caution before selecting this office.

The office staff is so friendly. Mindy the office manager was phenomenal. She had went above and beyond to make my appointment and helped get my records from another Aspen office. She called me back when she said she would. Greg the front office staff member was professional and courteous. Dr. Farrah was outstanding. She was gentle and kind and very aware of the sensitivity I was experiencing. She explained and demonstrated how to clean my bridge after she put it in.Her assistant she had helping her, forgot name, was awesome. I thank you all those very much for assisting me today.

Pleasant experience for me. I was able to get an appointment right away. Had X-rays, cleaning and exam done. The cleaning was the best part as the hygienist used very consistent and steady pressure, which resulted in no pain at all. If I had to criticize anything, it would be the mark up prices on the items they offer. For example, the small tube of sensitivity fluoride tooth paste cost $39.

Extremely expensive, I was quoted almost 10k for a top denture and to have some teeth pulled. After I told them that was to much the office manager came over and knocked it down to 6k. My wife had her top and bottom dentures done and teeth pulled in Georgetown for $3500.. I now have a appointment in Georgetown. I cant belive they charge people like they tried to charge me. I told them and they said the quality of dentures was better but could give me lower quality for 5800 just for the top.. In my opinion, I think they are trying to take advantage of someone in pain.

THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLYMy visit to Aspen Dental was an adventure and a mixture of Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. The GOOD - the Dentist and his supporting staff were terrific, along with a man I assume was the manager. The BAD - I felt I was somehow interrupting the front office staff from doing their duties. The UGLY - was overpaying for a procedure. My extraction was a simple one that didnt require any extra effort, yet despite asking for my bill to be corrected after three days and several contacts, it still not updated. This review is subject to correction if resolved.UPDATE - Aspen Dental refunded the difference and I can now post a 5 star rating.

My first appointment was 1/27/21. I thought I needed a checkup and routine cleaning. After the exam I was told I needed a crown and a filling replaced. The treatment plan was initiated at approximately $2600. Aspen Dental was very quick at setting up the following appointments to complete the treatment plan. After, taking the impression for the crown and providing a temporary crown I waited for the new crown. After a month I received a letter from corporate that my treatment plan was not complete and I could be charged additional fees. Then I was asked to come back in to remove the temporary crown so they could take another impression. Apparently, my crown never came in. So, finally on 3/23/21 I received my new crown. They blamed the Covid and the crown manufacturer for the delays. I would have preferred they discounted my bill for my delays and inconvenience.

I went in last Monday 12/21...Front desk and Dental Assistants were very friendly.I recently had an issue with a tooth and mouth pain in general that would need either extracted or a root canal with a crown. The hygienist wanted me to do a oral cancer exam along with a full treatment plan with more procedures that needed to be done.I only went to Aspen because I needed emergency dental work that day hoping to get it resolved. Towards the end of the visit i was told I would need to come back in the following week to do my “treatment plan” which would come out to a total of 14,000$ dollars.. I was a bit emotional and taking back that I felt I needed to find or save 14k to get a simple root canal. The next day I set an appointment with a dentist office and explained my experience.. I got my root canal procedure done and my tooth saved. When I talked to my new dentist about the dental plan aspen gave me, they agreed with me that all of this was unnecessary for the moment.I won’t be coming back to aspen only because I felt like I was being sold unnecessary things at the moment when all I needed was a simple treatment.

I have been going thru the motions for MONTHS! First it started at their Cedar Park Location! I went in for x-rays and dental care! They helped me break down everything I needed to get done which is a lot of work but I got GREAT reviews to go to this company after having such horrible experience with Castle Dental I switched! Well, I got a phone call from the office saying my insurance doesnt work with them....I called my insurance and they verified they do and we made FOUR 3-way calls with them to get this resolved! After going thru the hassle I switched to another office in Round Rock thinking maybe because all the people that helped me Quit, didnt make notes or didnt care! Fast forward to today, left a message and no response! Ive been in the office and spoke to a woman who now says she will handle it because the last manager quit too! So help me understand how a person has the money to get ALL my work done, the insurance because it was verified over and over again and all I keep getting is broken promises, no dental care and still PAIN in my mouth! Best 5 months of my life! Wow! I even CRIED in front of these people BEGGING to get it resolved! CRIED over the phone...NO RESULTS! What happened to your reputation of good service? This hurt me to the core! Maybe somebody may call me back! Maybe! I hope so! I had faith!*UPDATE* 6-30-21Since the review they reached out to me and although they didnt do anything about everything Ive been thru they did make a special appt and got some of my work done! Its the effort of trying for me! Although they dont get 5 stars I will change them to 3! I still have so much work to do and just like taking an Ex back....they have to prove themselves! Lol No but seriously, Thanks for reaching out and making it better...you gained 2 more stars! 🥰

The local Aspen Dental offices in the Austin area are part of a much larger and expanding market which left me feeling of getting lost in the numbers feeling. They did accommodate me after I called them to tell them I could not make an earlier appointment. After the scheduling person (who was in Arizona) chastised me for changing the schedule, I was moved to a 5pm appointment. After having a battery of X-rays taken by the dental hygienist (who was great) I sat for over 45 minutes and when the dentist did show, there was no apology or comments made about the wait. He was the only dentist at this location having lost the other dentist a few weeks prior to my appointment. After a quick look in my mouth I was given a list of issues and shuffled off with a price list for each process. My wife had previously been seen by the same dentist a few weeks earlier who charged her $17K before insurance. Granted she did need some dental work but this is just crazy.

First...lets be clear, this dental office, DOES NOT offer EMERGENCY SERVICES...so save your time and money/insurance, and lower your expectations. Although its written in 8 letters on their retail store window: EMERGENCY...this dentist office does not offer dental emergency services. There is no such thing as a dental ER.Any advertisement to the contrary is simply a solicitation. They, like all the other dentist who advertise EMERGENCY services use this as a gotcha to get you to make an appointment, provide your insurance information and then proceed with a General Examination, (which you would have received from any dentist). After repeatedly explaining that I was there for an toothache and severe swelling in my cheek and gums, they continued with PLAN A...which was to try and SELL me a Treatment Plan for the rest of my mouth!Less than 3 minutes was given to the purpose of my EMERGENCY appointment...and the doctor told me that because my gums and cheek were swollen due to infection...there was nothing he could do until the infection had cleared up. Even after I explained that my current condition was clearly communicated to their office/answering service on Saturday, (again...they DO NOT offer Emergency Services), that information had not been passed on to the actual dental office, Doctor, the Hygienists, the Office Manager...or apparently any one else.Long story short...this is an industry problem, not just Aspen. But this review is for them.

0 is too high a rating for this place. My appointment was at 9:45 am and I was asked to arrive at 9:30 am. The office opens at 10:00 am! The office blamed it on their appointment center. I’m sorry but a simple phone call when the local office sees an appointment scheduled prior to their opening hours is appropriate.Aspen Dental estimated my dental work amounting to over $12,000. I had a dental exam and cleaning at another facility 6 months ago their exam and X-rays did not reveal any of these mysterious findings by the Aspen Dentist and Hygienist. I have regularly maintained my dental health for over 50 Years, and have never had such a money-hungry dental report.I found a new dentist.

Let me start off with this- Madison the hygienist is absolutely the best person I dealt with. Everyone else didnt really seem to care, to listen or explain out anything regarding cost/procedures and what was included.I didnt have dental insurance (selfpay) so I went here on the basis that you get free x-rays, a check up and 20% off if you go with services. So i go into my first appointment to be told I need about 20k worth of dental work in which they try to set me up for payment plan but they need 18k up front...no not happening. I have about 1k to work with to get any of this done. I also express multiple times to multiple people that I am anxiety driven about dentists and on a limited budget so looking for best options outside of root canal and crowns because its too much. I set myself up on Careington (recommended by the people at Aspen, its a discount dental plan) I set for my gingivitis cleaning (the first appt alone cost me $423 including the $130 toothbrush (I wasnt asked about if I wanted included) and this was just 1 of 2 visits (my second cleaning visit was going to cost me another $160 for the follow up of the cleaning, one extraction (quoted 153), and 4 fillings (quoted $360) and none of this includes laughing gas. But thatll be another $80 (but this office doesnt even have it onsite) and not once was i told this in the 2 visits ive had after expressing ill need it. They also wont call anything in to help me relax prior to the visit and from what I see on other reviews they also dont provide pain meds afterwards. So I went and got a second opinion thinking something didnt seem completely right...sure enough with that discount dental plan my extraction is only $65 and with laughing gas total is $146, still even LESS than what Aspen tried to charge me for just a tooth pull and no gas. I wont be returning and I dont recommend you come here unless you actually like paying double or more than what your dental plan says you will.

I have localized pocketing, but they want to do full mouth period tx when just local codes could be used and a regular cleaning for the rest. Primarily the second molars upper right and lower right. Measurements of 4 and 5 otherwise dont shock me.The assistant was wonderful, very concerned about my well being. The hygienist was also nice, doing her job.I liked the doctor, he was honest about not needing restoration that wasnt nessesary. The overall bill gave me a heart attack even without insurance. Mostly period codes. Its a group practice, thats what they do. But everyone was nice while they did thier job.1. Ill have to wait. I no longer work2. My experience was both good and bad. As a new patient I did not know what to expect. When I phoned for an appointment on Mon. 11/2, the call was routed to a national call center, so I did not actually reach the office I wanted to visit. I told the agent in Arizona (Joey?) that I needed to have a tooth extracted and was pleasantly surprised to be able to get an appointment that same day at the location I had been trying to contact. I also asked if he could give me an approx. cost for the tooth removal, and after consulting with someone while I was on hold, he gave me a cost of approx. $195. Based on that information I went ahead and made the appointment for 10:00 am that very day. When I went to the location, I quickly found out that while I could get an initial examination as a new patient that day, they could not perform an extraction as the oral surgeon would not be at that location until the following Tuesday, 11/10 (8 days away). However, the dentist who examined me (Dr. OMalley) agreed that the tooth did need to be removed and was able to get me an appointment at 1:00 pm at another location where the oral surgeon would be on 11/4. I was quite surprised when the administrative person asked me to PAY for the extraction in advance, and shocked that the cost would be over $800. I protested and told her that Joey told me the cost would be $195. She said that my tooth was impacted and the cost was higher for that reason. I was again shocked because the tooth was NOT impacted and had been fully presented for over 40 years. I asked her to check with Dr. OMalley, who confirmed that it not impacted and was a routine extraction. She then told me that the cost would be $506 ($369 for the extraction plus an $137 consultation fee) which was more than twice what I was expecting, but I reluctantly paid by credit card.On 11/3 I received a text confirming the date and time for the procedure on 11/4. I arrived at 12:45 pm on 11/4 and was told that they were running about an hour behind schedule. So I left and ran some errands and came back at 1:45 pm. I then sat in the waiting area until approx. 3:30 pm before I was finally taken back for my procedure. While the procedure was successful, as far as I could tell there was no consultation, and the dental assistant who read me the pre-printed post-op instructions could barely speak English. The initial examination on 11/2 revealed considerable additional work that needs to be done, including peridontal deep cleaning, a possible root canal, and replacement of a 3-position bridge. I had initially considered using Aspen to perform all of this work based on the demeanor and professionalism of Dr. OMalley, BUT everything that happened AFTER seeing him suggests an inefficient, confused and disorganized practice which does not inspire confidence for further medical treatment.

How about $2700.00! Said I’d think about it...went for 2nd opinion and told no infections teeth have receding gumline but in line for my age 65 and being diabetic 2.... bottom line buyer beware...do homework before committing $$$ ...otherwise I’m sure they’re reputable based on most reviews but because they wouldn’t even give me the simple cleaning, which 2nd dentist did...no problem, so I felt pressured by “upselling” me to a procedure that may not have been necessary...

Very impressed with all staff member’s level of concern and care!I was there for an initial exam and received a recommended course of care, complete with estimates on how to take my dental health to the next level. They were even able to get my cleaning taken care of - the hygienist even stayed late so I wouldn’t need to come back for a separate appointment-where else does that happen?! Bravo to Aspen Dental Cedar Park!

Wish Id never done business here. I made the mistake of paying. 4000. up front, & havent heard from these people in months, since they canceled my last 3 appts. Temporary dentures are supposed to be wearable, these have never fit & have been adjusted a few times with same results.

Everyone was very friendly and inviting. The dental assistants do a wonderful job with x-rays and getting set up. Once in the dental chair however, I waited for the dentist for more than 15 minutes, but once she arrived she was wonderfully nice and explained everything that was going on. Would be nice to have a dental surgeon there more often to take care of problem teeth. Overall good experience and I will be using them going forward.

Run, dont walk. Extremely pushy business tactics and scheduling. Expect to have appointments cancelled last minute, appointments scheduled without your knowledge, mistakes on your bill, and a rushed consultation. Emergency dental situations? Expect a callback of an hour or more (in fact, still waiting on a call back at this very moment). Our decision to stay with this office has been based entirely on the fact that we already paid up front, a tactic I feel Aspen Dental probably relies on based on the class action lawsuit against them.

The x Ray was very painful. Never had a painful x Ray on my mouth . Felt more like a sale yourself to get paid type of deal. I went for a simple tooth extraction, due to my pain and infection in tooth . I was told that I should have the other tooth that I already got a root canal on redone because it was infected as well which it is not . I was told that I should pull out my two front side tooth’s due to them pushing on the bottom middle teeth which was not important at the time . I felt as if they was trying to make me pay for things I didn’t need done at that time . I also was told about a electric tooth brush I should buy to help my teeth . I was not interested. I gave them two stars because the lady that helped me with billing was nice and real about there prices . She told me that she wouldn’t be mad if I went somewhere else l, because they are very high. To pull one tooth was $263.00 . I found another dentist that was was cheaper for 100 to 150.00 . I didn’t like how things went here and unfortunately I wouldn’t return .

I had went to a dentist office before Aspen dental where even though I explained my pain levels and situation they had me come back. (I specially went for emergency help/extraction) they did everything to up sale me. I went a full week with no solid foods even missed out on thanksgiving till I couldn’t wait and called a new office. When I called Aspen dental the person helping me through the phone was very caring and understanding considering I was almost crying from pain. That same day I was schedule at 5pm but showed up at 3:30 Hoping maybe that time slot was still available from them first offering it. When I got there and expressed the pain level and how desperate I was for help they amazing lady at the front desk said “fill these forms out and let’s get you taken care of” and that’s literally what they did. Not only did they take me back earlier Than My appointment while I was in horrible pain but they went through all my options and never once pressured me on anything besides what I specifically ask for which was a tooth extraction due to broken tooth. The dr and nurse who helped me were so amazing during the procedure and quick to get me out of pain! And the price was 3 times less than the other place had quoted me with priceless service in a very painful time. I went in exhausted from a weeks worth a pain and walked out 1.5 hours later feeling 10 times better even though I’d just had an extraction.

I found that the folks at Aspen were friendly and informative and were able to alleviate alot of the fears associated with going to the dentist. I found that I could talk to them about my fears and they were not dismissed. I felt that I could understand the procedures and know what I need to do to get the procedures done quickly. I appreciate the time I was there and would recommend them to anyone.

This place was awesome. I had broke my lower dentures and the took me right in and fixed them all in less than an hour. I have to say that because of the teach breaking I hadnt eaten and my blood sugar was bottoming out. They brought me a coke and Tiffs treats cookies to help me. Above and beyond. Thank you Aspen, I dont have to put names, she knows who she is.

I am visiting from Eugene, Oregon, and my temporary crown kept falling off. I had the original made at Aspen Dental in Eugene Just before I left to come to Texas. It ended up breaking because I wasn’t being careful enough. Aspen Dental here in Cedar Park fit me in immediately and made a new temporary crown (using a cast of my broken one glued together, pure artistry) FREE of charge!

I was in horrible pain and no one else could fit me in. Aspen got me in same day and on antibiotics. I actually felt they cared. This was last Friday, the earliest appointment other than them would have been today. I would have been in agony this whole time. The antibiotics have done their job and the pain is gone, so tomorrow I will call Aspen and schedule a full exam to get the work done. Thank you, Aspen!

The Doctor that did my root canal did an amazing job! Id had one before about 6 years ago at Castle Dental and the pain was completely unbearable. But as soon as Doctor Greg (sorry I cant remember his last name) came in the room he was already making me feel at ease with simple chit chat. I didnt even really feel the numbing shot when he did it. Not only that but I was pretty much able to go about my dad as normal. Yes I had some swelling and pain, but compared to the R.C. I had with Castle Dental, this was a blessing. I unfortunately have to get 2 more done, but if the same Doctor performs them I wont mind at all.

I told the nurse when I first went in there that I did not want an oral cancer screening. I’ve had one twice a year for the past 10 years. The dentist took it upon herself to perform one anyhow and told me I needed to see an oral surgeon. I informed her that I had plicated tongue and what she saw had been there forever. She went from it being voluntary for me to see an oral surgeon to saying she insisted upon it.I was also charged for this oral surgery consultation weeks before my appointment to see them. Who does this?? Yelp reviews indicate that this place wants to over charge and charge for things you don’t need. The dentist also didn’t think I knew the difference between a cleaning and a tooth polishing. I’ve never had my teeth cleaned before where it hurt and they needed to use anesthesia. I’m very suspicious that I saw my dentist in Las Vegas before I even moved to Texas, and everything was fine.I walked out of there not only feeling like my mouth was a disaster, but now I need to see someone who I don’t need to see, and I really don’t need to be scared into thinking I might have oral cancer for something that I told her has been in my mouth and already diagnosed. The plan I have is very limited on the dentists I can use, so I guess I’m stuck here. Part of being a good doctor or dentist is actually listening to your patients and not treating them like they are an idiot.

Aspen dental did a wonderful job on my teeth. I hadn’t been to the dentist in several years and my teeth were really really bad. The hygienist Mahi was terrific she took her time on my teeth and explained everything to me while she was doing it and after she was done she gave me detailed instructions on how to keep my smile healthy and clean. Mahi was also very friendly, warm and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Farrar was excellent too, she extracted my tooth and I felt zero pain and it was over so quickly. I plan on coming back for any future dental work. Office staff was great as well. I definitely recommend aspen dental

My appointment took over 3 hours. I was new, but still.. I was pressured to do work on my teeth that my old dentist states is not necessary and buy a 130$ toothbrush (but I would get a $20 mail in rebate, so I guess it’s only 110$) and get Invisalign, I’ve already paid for SmileDirectClub - received and started my treatment. I felt like I was being reprimanded for decisions I made knowing the risks. Although I stated I understood, she continued disparaging me. Great technology, but the pushing and upsale of items they provide as well as the patronizing.. I’ll pay out of pocket and go back to my old dentist. Not putting myself through this again

They where nice but confusing and pushy sales. It is medical I did not think it would be all about the money. But I get it they need to make $$. I hope it goes better today and I wont leave feeling so confused and disappointed. Again they are nice.
