I havent received my glasses yet, but Jennifer was super helpful helping me order my glasses with options I felt I needed. The doctor was super nice and friendly. All the staff were very pleasant, especially Jennifer. Way to go.

I was totally happy with my experience at Americas Best in Albany, Oregon.Dr Nguyen, Jennifer, and Lorrie were the best.Im that person who changed her order after I got home... Bad me. But Jennifer was nothing but cheerful about it. And Lorrie went out of her way to get my order right. It wasnt an easy task, but she did it, and did it right.

Pleasant enough..... But they know ABSOLUTELY nothing! Asked 3 times about my copay for insurance. Was told 3 times it’s covered under my plan. WRONG get to the end they charged me. Asked about their glasses special... they quoted me 140 for two pairs with the upgraded lenses.... WRONG again! Try 376 after a 40% discount... because if you buy their over priced frames and buy their expensive upgrade you don’t get the discounted giant price on the wall. You have to pay triple the price to buy better lenses. We will go to Costco instead.

Scheduled an appointment, came in and they had no record of it. The lady at the counter was rude and called me a liar infront of other customers. Once you do get in, theyre clue less on what theyre doing and extremely insensitive. I still havent gotten my glasses.

Staff is rude made me feel very unwelcome. I was very in pleased by the service I got while in there. If you have a big family be prepared to have half of them wait outside even tho we all had appointments

Run from these guys. Had exam about two years ago. Purchased both reading and daily use glasses. Readers broke about a month after use. So, second chance time. Just wanted new frames. Was told that I was just over two years since last visit so I had to pay for a new exam. No. I just want the prescription I currently have in new frames. Nope. Had to pay for new exam. Told the manager that if that was the case I just didnt feel like I needed to purchase the new glasses from them. His response was have a nice day. Apparently at this establishment you eye prescription is not really yours and the clock is ticking.

Great service and staff! I want to mention Ally. She was very patient with me. She ran me through all the options with my insurance. Priced out if I bought glasses and got contacts through insurance. Priced out if I did it vice versa. Then priced out if I used old frames. She went through all my options for me to come back to the one she suggested. She was professionally and courteous. Knowledgeable and professional staff that will make me a customer for life. I been purchasing contacts and glasses all my life and not once did anyone do all that for me. I highly recommend the Albany location.

Everyone was helpful and friendly. I was greeted as I came in and someone was right there. When I asked for something to put contacts in they gave me a contact case. The Dr was real knowledgeable and the appointment was quick.

At age 51 I needed to get my first pair of glasses. We drove 40 miles to go there. The staff was really great, I found frames I liked instantly. I got the special with 2 pairs of glasses. Glasses were adjusted to me perfectly. Price was super amazing. My wife and I both bought 2 pairs of glasses.On our first visit, I had my beloved sidekick with me a 15 pound Chihuahua/Boston Terrier. He was very comfortable there, I use him to gauge if people are cool or not. He was a hit, and they know us now by sight now.Thanks for a product that made my life better. We will be customer for life

I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about this store and The Staff!! Both my exam and contact reordering experiences were wonderful. The Dr. was great and easy to communicate with. The optometrist was pretty nice and professional, I felt she did a good job as efficiently as possible. There was no waiting time so that was awesome! Its the sales people. I didnt wish to purchase frames or Contacts. I just wanted the eye exam. It seems they work on commission maybe. The woman was pretty rude, and did not seem to hear me when I said I simply wanted the exam and nothing else. If you do wish to buy frames they have some pretty good deals, but for me, nothing can erase the treatment u received there so I wont go back.

Eye exam went well. Wanted progressive lenses. Three trips as cannot see with glasses. One employee told me I was wearing them wrong? She started tweaking the frames which was upsetting. Another checked the lenses and they were two different strengths. Sent glasses back to redo. The glasses have never been able to be worn as I cannot see without blurred vision and getting a headache. Used all my insurance benefits plus a lot out of pocket so cannot get new ones. Back to wearing readers.

Was in about a couple months ago and ordered my glasses, they made the process of ordering with my insurance pretty good. But when I went in to pick up my glasses, the gentleman at the front got them for me and that was it. There was no fitting or adjusting. Wasnt too terribly happy after that. I would have to rethink using Americas Best again.

I bought a pair of glasses here a couple months back and I told them straight away I had no idea about glasses and how they should fit. They did not fit these properly to my head. The ear support is extremely to short, it does not even go around my ear properly, its like theyre just sitting on my head. The lady who fit them on my head told me this was normal. I went to many other Glasses places and the first thing they told me was I cannot believe they let you buy these. I will be showing up to get my prescription printed out and will never do business with this company again.

The staff and Dr. were friendly, professional, and helpful. My daughters and I had a great experience at the Albany location. We will be back!

This place is all about taking your money! The staff acts like they are doing you a favor as they charge you double fees and try and convince you they are doing you a favor! I will never go there again!

Love the doctor, she was amazing. Best Eye exam I have ever had. The staff on the other hand is horrible. I had my eye exam on November 22, 2017, ordered my glasses and my trial contacts. The glasses came in no problem. I called multiple times asking if they had come in, was told no they had not arrived. The reason they had not arrived is Judy never ordered them. I got a phone call this week that they were in. I go today (12/23/2017) only to find out they had been order incorrectly by Rebecca. This is not good customer service. Very disappointed.

Went in for glasses and eye exam for the first time in 14 years. The wait was a little long, but it gave me plenty of time to look through all the frames they have. They were very friendly, the doctor I saw was phenomenal. Quick and efficient, friendly and professional.It costed more than anticipated.$70 for the two frames, a free eye exam, and then over $138 for the lenses.Still waiting for them to call back to tell me when to pick up the glasses, but Im excited to recieve them.They said 7-10 days wait for pickup, but most folks Ive talked to seem to estimate it closer to 14 days.

Theyre very friendly, kind and helpful. They made my visit very warming and stress free since i drove 3 hours i was tired an my lil guy was not happy but, they made it well worth it. Thanks to All the friendly and helpful staff

I decided to get myself some new glasses for the new year. I had been to Americas Best in AZ and had a stellar experience, which made me want to return. I had an appt but came a few minutes early to ask if they accepted my insurance. They said they couldnt verify it on the weekend. I told them I wanted to get glasses anyway and sort out the insurance later. Having an HSA, I was not concerned about insurance but more about getting some new glasses. However, they had been complaining about how many people were coming in today while waiting in line. When I kept telling them I wanted an exam and glasses either way, they did not hear me. I left feeling as if Americas Best did not want my money cause they were too busy. Too bad... my glasses usually run me 300.00 or more and I would have been happy to purchase them from here. Now I am thinking my good experience can only be obtained in AZ. I will be going somewhere that WANTS my business.

I had a great experience today at the location in Albany. I was in and out quickly. I ordered 2 pairs of glasses all for 69$, I felt they had a good selection for that price. I appreciate the friendly service and would reccomend going here.

They are the worst.... they took my script I brought them from another DR. So I could buy a pair of glasses there and then wanted to charge triple price on getting contacts so when I asked for my eye script back they refused to give me it back and told me all I could do is get contacts there. The place in albany mall linn county vision center is the best . They did my contacts at over half the price, got me in and done within a half hour. Very happy with them. I would give them 5 stars and wouldnt pee on Americas best if they were on fire. If you want a great experience then linn county vision center in the albany mall is the place to go, if you want to deal with unprofessionals the Americas NOT SO best is the place to waste your money. Staff was friendly and helpful, but the glasses they gave me with the prescription from my optometrist appointment there, keep giving me eye strain and headaches. Ive only actually been able to wear one of the two pairs I got because the second pair gives me such bad headaches Ive just decided not to wear them.

Fantastic Rx: the doctor took the time to get it right; something 3 other optometrists writing 4 other Rxs were unable to accomplish. Many, many thanks! I will be back!

Do not go here.After 6 return visits they could not get my prescription right. I had to go through backing out the insurance claim which took weeks. When I was finally able to see an eye doctor who was able to get my prescription correct (took one try) Americas Worst refused to remedy the situation.Customer service is horrible from staff to managment.

Riley was awesome she helped my husband with the warent on his glasses to get a new pair. Also she helpsd us order safty glasses with his prescription for his job. Awesome service. I highly recommend going and seeing Riley at americas best eye in albany oregon.

Husband went in for glasses. Had insurence documented. Was not run by the sales person. Also no frames hardly fit except the more expensive. Ultimately leaving having paid full price for glasses you do not want when you had insurence. Optomtotrist very friendly and professional. Make sure you tell the salesman you have insurence before you sign anything.

Got our eye exams and 2 pairs of glasses with insurance. It fit what I could afford.

They try to screw you out of money if you sign up for the eye care club, by constantly trying to get you to make another appointment for fallow up exams for no reason

Staff and doctor are very friendly, however, their selection of frames isnt that great and Ive been waiting on my glasses for over two weeks.

Took 15 minutes for my eye exam. Waited another HOUR AND A HALF before someone helped with my glasses and payment. Worst customer service I have had in years! Will not be returning there for another exam!

We will not be going back.
